FSR rambles 18 dreams about being gannon

Direct parallels to Gannon/OOT.

Sweet time to mention Shadow can play the piano haha. I have a plan for a comic on HOW he learned but that's a later date type thing.

This is a character from the planned sequel of FSR. and I can't speak much about him. You'd know a decent amount about him if you've seen the FSRA posts.

Oh Hi Link. Why are you wearing white and black. Basically the reverse of Dark Link's fit? Not weird at aaaaall considering that wasn't what he was wearing before he pulled the sword...

It's been around for awhile NOW but Shadow's hair changing to have a red streak...much like a certain gerudo man we know isn't odd at ALLLLLL.

Also nice Malice eyes Shadow.

Yeah I'm sure the magic demonic 8 ball will have the answers you seek Shadow.

Considering the Gannon flashbacks we just saw...Who's "him" Dark? Because Dark could just as easily be talking about Vaati here. But really it's up in the air on who he meant exactly.

Dark keeping his horns from his vaati convo and it appearing on his human ish form was a fun detail to add.

Random note to think about: Dark had to put himself back in Shadow's hat after sneaking off to vaati's house and that imagery is funny so I'm sharing it with you.

Dark's hair is still vaati colored as well and his behavior is reflecting him still.

Link talking about food and sleeping is just about the most link thing ever so Dark gives absolutely no shits about it.

The phrase "Does the word "HERO" just have no meaning to you? You disgust me" specifically gets a chuckle out of me considering who's mouth it's coming out of.

Dark continues to miss identify Shadow as Gannon when he said "you're as old as time" (More of a reference to demise depending on how you look at it but same diff)

Dark sweating visibly showing he's still very much scared of Shadow.

Shadow pulled his head out of his ass for a second and realized Dark's acting weird. (Like Vaati)

Dark's instant snap back is amusing but also sad. Like. Shadow doesn't "know him" not in any meaningful way. But he does yield and admit he was looking at memories for... YEARS in the head space.

Which is just a level of horror beyond comprehension.

Imagine spending YEARS looking at other people's memories just to get yanked out of it randomly by mr root of all evil himself bitching at you about smth you don't even know about, some guy you had a single conversation with YEARS AGO. But oh yeah. It's only been maybe 8 hours in the real world and all perception of time and reality was thrown off and you're being accused of being a different person after all that shit.

To say Dark Link isn't having a fun or good time would be an understatement.

I touched on it in a fic where Link and Dark bang of all places but Dark's existence is an existential nightmare.

Dark Link's EXISTANCE isn't fun for him. He's gonna mention it later too but he's MISSERABLE and vocal about his misery and pain just being alive.

Something weird to think about: Who's memories was he even looking at?

Really from his vague description it could be ANYONE.

I personally like to think it's vaati's considering he still has his hair shifted to be vaati's tone, is acting like vaati and mentions shadow being "Annoying"

though Link and vio are high possibilities too haha.

A mix of all of them aren't off base either.

Identity crisis how fun...Dark struggling to separate himself from the memories he's witnessed is concerning to say the least.

At least he's willing to be helpful with what he thinks is going on.

Really he could have just said "Fuck off figure it out yourself" but he offers to try and explain shit to Shadow from his perspective.

Dark's openness to cooperate despite everything is smth noteworthy.

He has literally no reason to do shit like this (Even if it fails) ESPECIALLY considering his distaste for Shadow. He just does shit that's helpful or nice cause he can.

Just little characterizations that Dark Link is more like Link than you'd first think considering his introduction.

Also OOT reference again with Ganon entering the sacred realm to steal the Triforce of power.

The second Shadow mentions them splitting is a relief, Dark cosplays Vio. XDDDD

Even Shadow thinks that was Vio like haha.

Dark's avoiding Link is the funniest part of this. "Oh shit he's waking up, gotta run. Don't wanna talk to him." XDDD

Don't do it Shadow.

It's a terrible idea.

Last time Link was here he was wanting to off himself so he might not be the most mentally sound individual!

Also who's happy to be woken up...

Dark Link being the voice of reason here about the pros and cons to waking Link up or even listening to him haha.

Considering what happens HAPPENS, that probs would have happened REGUARDLESS of if he was woken up or not. The change really is down to whether or not Shadow would A. Even be around for it. B. Be the one to wake Link up and have that burden on his mind or C. Just let shit happen.

Shadow is putting a ton of pressure on Dark to give answers or be helpful AND CORRECT but like...dude Dark doesn't know, he's guessing too lmfao.

Shadow makes what I consider a very foolish choice which was waking Link up.

Dark held back the explosion aspect but he is here to have fun first so uhhhh...Well he DID say it'd be funny to him and not Shadow.

Shadow defaults to blaming Dark Link "Damn demon" which...Shadow learn some accountability.

Panel by panel breakdown cause stuffs getting jucy:

1- Interesting outfit choice Link. It's the one he wore when he was a bit younger. So he's got a younger mindset when waking up. Which is just sad.

2- his outfit changes to half blue half green with a purple sleeve, his hands are all sorts of wrong and mish mashed with red and purple nails. His eyes also have the wrong color. His body is distorting all over the place...Interesting.

3- Shadow you shouldn't have said anything. The coward's hiding too lmfao he knows he fucked up.

4- Safe to say he's not very happy.

Link's distorting and glitching is based on video game glitches. Which is fun because: LOZ is a video game.

There's something distinctly haunting and uncanny about buggy/glitchy game assets and I wanted to capture it here.

Like the reality of four people being forced into one body is quite horrifying and the idea of them just bugging out unable to process how many thoughts there are is overwhelming. Literally like overloading a computer or gaming system.

There's also something to be said about how he fully breaks after seeing Shadow Link.

This is brought up later so I'll expand upon it later but the fact literally the only words Shadow Link spoke to LINK was "I'm the hero Link" or smth like that is hysterical.

For living together for 7 years: They truly don't know each other well on a personal level considering their ability to communicate was stunted by Shadow being...Well a Shadow. And I wanna explore that more as the series goes on.

1- Lol Green hi thanks for trying to stay calm.

2- Vio's here too. Something tells me calming down isn't working considering your face is cracking more and the tunic is flashing different colors.

3- Shadow I swear to god, shut your mouth-

4- Yeaaaaaah we saw that coming. Ouch looks painful. Good thing that body is magic hahaha.

Link's just not having a good time at all. XD

I think a few people caught this but Link breaking down here was based on the forced gem fusions in SU also the distorted static version of the cartoons from learning with pibby XD

It was good inspo for how horrific this scenario is.

Really all of them are just kinda, shoved in there. Unable to truly escape and they're NOT HAPPY about it.

Blue specifically is trying to get out as we'll know later and we get more context on his thoughts about this ordeal from the Darkblue chapter... But visually you can see Link's got two faces and it remains consistent that that's Blue.

Which, is terrifying.

There's also the underlying horror that the "Why" Link is back in one body isn't truly addressed but we'll get more into that later.

Shadow running for his damn life haha.

I'd be scared too if that mess was crawling at me.

The sad thing is that Link's reaching out for help and Shadow responds by screaming in terror lmfao.

Cause Link seems monstruous at the moment but the reality of the situation is he's very clearly conscious and scared. He's reaching out to the only person he can, which is Shadow.

I think this might be my favorite design of Link in this state. It's just horrific to look at. The eyes bleeding onto both his faces which are cracked like mirrors so you can't tell what he's looking at. He has Vio and Blue's legs sticking out of his back, and entire extra head forcing its way off his main one, it's hard to tell from these but his skin is glitching in both Red and Blue's separate skin tones (Blue's being a bit darker and Red's being lighter)

His tunic is pitch black which, black absorbs all wavelengths of light and reflects none...Literally keeping it trapped haha.

Yeah. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING.

Anyway, Link/Green, Vio and red are all reaching out to shadow but blue is suspiciously absent haha.

Them grabbing onto Shadow is smth Vio would do...

The four sword's lil gem thingy is glitched to shit too. Each colored piece being a different size. Green's is noticeably larger while Blue and Red's are about the same size. Vio's is the smallest.

Shadow's hat is doing that thing Dark does when he's upset where it clings to his body.

Yeah feeling like you can't do anything would be a feeling you fall into frequently being trapped as a shadow.

Take that agency back Shadow it's been robbed from you for too long.

Blue: GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME!!!!

Jokes aside I love this moment. Link getting more stable as he keeps Shadow close to him is sweet.

Link just needed a hug. UwU

I do think it's funny how Link is wearing black here and Shadow is wearing white. (It's just his usual underclothes without his tunic)

I’m sorry but scummy scara has been living in my head rent free and I’m always checking your blog to see if you’ve posted more about him alsjshsk.

Here’s some of my brainrot about him:

✩ he once noticed you forgot to eat a few times and now he’s insisted on making lunch for you a few times a week! (Ei’s very shocked to find him in the kitchen with one of her cook books open but after an outburst from him, she doesn’t question it further). He brings you all sorts of things he’s made and watches in delight as you eat it all. You don’t need to know that his cum has been mixed into everything and he’s tucking himself in as close to the table as possible so you can’t see how hard he is as the thought of a part of him being inside of you as you go about your day. It comforts him to know that even when you go to your separate homes at the end of the day, there’s still a part of him with you.

✩ similarly, he’s always worried that you’re not drinking enough and so he’s offering his water bottle to you all the time!! Yeah, it’s so he can have something that you’ve put your mouth on but if you’re staying hydrated too then it’s a win for both of you, right? You don’t need to know how he’ll savour the taste of you (or even your lipgloss) on the bottle when he’s alone.

✩ on the note of makeup, I’m sure your lip balm/stick/gloss/whatever will always go missing because he’s always stealing them. You don’t know that either though, you just know that your friend Scara is kind enough to give you some money when you’re upset about losing your makeup so you can buy some more! He just loves using them and fantasising about how you’ll taste when he kisses you!!

✩ also Scara helping you with some class project and he has this super cool trick to help you filter through searches, he just has to download something for you! Yeah he does what he says but while he does “all the boring technical stuff” that he says you don’t need to pay attention to, he’s downloading his own malware that lets him access your computer remotely whenever he wants. He’ll get off to your pretty face through your webcam when he returns home and omg imagine he finds out about your tumblr blog!

DR:OS Chapter 1 Part 3 First Impressions

Wow… more DROS :O

You know the deal, first reactions, don't expect anything too coherent, etc etc. Very excited! Especially since I'm predicting the chapter to end on the body discovery, or at least shortly after it. Not only do I feel like the party coming up is probably when the murder's gonna happen, the CW for Deadly Life are up, so. I could be wrong though! Let's see!

I'm like three paragraphs in, but I'm already enjoying the changes of Jeff being there and Antonia and Cass continuing to beef with each other. I just really like these characters lol.

“Grace: I’m surprised you don’t seem to be hungover, Noah?

Noah: Oh, that doesn’t happen with me. Pretty cool.” Bro what. How much do these talents do.

“Antonia: Cassidy is just being a little paranoid, that’s all. Don’t mind her.

Cass: …

Vivi: Uhhh, okay…? Are we just gonna pretend that nothing’s happening here, or?

Antonia: I don’t know, Cassidy, do you have anything you’d like to tell us?” Why do they hate each other so much??? Love 'em.

“Paris: Cass and Antonia are at each other’s throats all the time now because they both think the other is the mastermind~” Oh Antonia actually thinks Cass is the mm? I kinda missed that, or I forgot something from last week. I thought she was just being petty but I guess this makes a bit more sense.

“Kennedy: Please. If it’s that obvious, it has to be the wrong answer.

Antonia: I wouldn’t say Cassidy is being “obvious.” I simply trust my extensive experience with determining when someone is lying.

Cass: Antonia just admitted that she deals with lies all the time. Sometimes the reason why someone is the frontrunner is because they’re perfect for the job.” Love Kennedy keeping up the Tumblr theorizing logic, and Cass and Antonia hating each other means more Antonia content for me so I'm just happy :)

“Robert: …Alrighty! Well, I’m glad we’ve talked this over…” We really haven't but thanks for trying to keep things positive, Robert, appreciate ya'.

“Cass: I will figure out your secrets.

Antonia: Of course you will, darling.” :D No further commentary.

[Paris FTE Start] Wooo, FTE! And Paris, too, I really like her! We're probably not gonna get many more FTEs this chapter (in fact I'm sorta expecting this to be the last one), so let's enjoy this while it lasts :')

“Ellis: Your makeup’s looking great. How is it that you’re such a knockout both in and out of it?

Paris: Aw, thanks babe! Appearances are everything, after all~” Alright damn. Classic Ellis opening with a pickup line, and Paris, what?

“For the first time in a while, I’m actually flustered from someone pulling me close. It’s not exactly a romantic attraction, though… it’s more from the sheer energy she holds as she anchors her hand on my shoulder.” Someone got Ellis! Admittedly, not by flirting so much as by being weird about gossip, but counts xD

“Paris: You should have Antonia tell you how she got into dealing someday. It’s an interesting story.

Ellis: Oh, have you been spending a lot of time with Antonia since we got here?

Paris: I spend time with everyone, hon! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to talk to someone as intriguing as yourself in more depth.

Ellis: Hey, give me some credit! Maybe I was trying to keep my intrigue up on purpose…” Ooh, well I'm always glad to hear about Antonia, and of course Paris spends a lot of time with the others. Also Ellis, who was playing an icebreaker game just the night before, implying they wanted to keep up the intrigue is funny.

“I wasn’t, but that’s not important.” And this, dear readers, is why we read slightly ahead of whatever we're commenting on in this kind of post xD

“Ellis: You’ve definitely done your research.

Paris: Totes! If you want to hear some real research, though, I know Cass and Kennedy both do a lot on their own time.” I mean we kinda knew this, but I'm liking how much we're referencing other characters here, really justifies the whole Ultimate Gossip thing.

“Paris: Hmm. It is true, it’s a bother that I can’t check on any of my beloved followers…

Ellis: Do you know stuff about all of them, too?

Paris: I hear what they say. But that’s about all I can do, isn’t it?

Ellis: Of course.” ‘I hear what they say’ strikes me as a weird way to respond to that question. Might be nothing, but it does make me wonder if maybe she knows more about them than she's letting on… not that I know how that could be relevant to the killing game lol.

“Paris leaves me in the Common Room, a little stunned. She truly is a master of social techniques–every time I tried to dig for info about her, she dodged, and threw the question right back at me. Looking back, it seems like we were just talking in circles for fifteen minutes before she ran off to her “prior commitments.” With who? And doing what?

In the end, I agree with my immediate assessment: I don’t want to get on Paris’ bad side. She’s dangerous… though I never said I didn’t like dangerous women.” Yeah, she's someone to look out for, isn't she? Kinda curious to see just how far this stuff can go.

“As I sit on the couch, I notice Aidan and Davis approaching the Movie Theater.” Davis with Aidan again, wonder if he prefers Aidan's company given the whole "not attracted to him” deal. Then again, the straight guys and Vivi also wouldn't be attracted to him, so Aidan's not necessarily unique in that regard.

“[The Movie Theater bulletin board] reads, “MOTIVE ANNOUNCEMENT: TBA.”” Oh yea, motives! Kinda forgot they were a thing lol.

“Aidan: Someone was already planning a murder, from what we can tell. Even with that, is it still taking too long? And if it’s meant to rush us, why isn’t there an actual release date…?” Oh yeah the poison lol. Yeah, bit of a weird situation, huh?

“Aidan: It just doesn’t make any sense.

Kennedy: Not if you think about it so simply!

Kennedy and Vivi come up from the stairs, joining us outside the Movie Theater.” Kennedy and Vivi! :D Just in time to annoy Aidan, fantastic!

“Vivi: [Kennedy]’s been itching for something new to look at for a while now…” Love the image of Vivi just hanging around Kennedy and watching the guy descend into madness from lack of intel lol.

“Kennedy: Maybe the mastermind knows someone’s going to kill soon. It could be setup for the next murder, if they think no one else would go for it just because of the killing game. Or, maybe the mastermind wants to create multiple killers at the same time! There’s a regulation about it. Or–” Kennedy kinda cooks with these theories, they're always a blast lol.

“Aidan: Jesus, will you shut up already?

Vivi: Hey, there were good ideas in there!” You know I'm really glad I asked for that Vivi & Kennedy Bonus Scene because they're a very fun duo. Maybe I'll send in Aidan & Kennedy if there's Bonus Scenes voting post CH1, it's funny how much they beef lol.

“Ellis: Why would someone try to kill if the person running the game is already setting up shop for once you’re dead and buried?

Kennedy: Because even if the mastermind knows that they’re setting up for the next murder, they think that we think it’s for this murder, so they think we think that the motive is a threat to us now, which might make us more likely to kill!” I had to read that like three times to figure out what the hell Kennedy was trying to say damn. They are very hard to follow it's fantastic.

“Vivi: Wait! What if the motive’s up now because the first murder already happened?” There are… not a lot of pages left so I’m worried Vivi might actually be right. I do find it interesting she's the one to bring it up, though, given how hellbent she was that no one was gonna die in the Prologue. Wonder why that is.

“Somewhat surprisingly, everyone’s okay.” Okay, no, we're chilling… for now.

“Big oversight from the killing game planning community. They should fire those guys and hire some new maniacs to the board.” You gotta love characters criticizing the bad guys for sucking at torturing them lol.

“Paris: OMG Tay, I’ve been wanting to talk to you ever since your talent show performance! It was so good!

Taylor: You think so…?” Taylor's just the most popular person around it's actually kinda funny. Everyone loves them and they don't know how to handle it lol.

“Taylor: Oh, well… if you ever wanted to perform together, I’m sure we could.

Harper: You two would certainly make for an interesting duo.” Yay friendship! :D

[The entire rest of that conversation] Oh hey they actually are going to be besties, let's go! I kinda love that dynamic so that's awesome.

“In the dark of my room, I pull out my e-Handbook, hovering over the chat function.” It's cool that this thingy keeps being brought up, I think it's pretty interesting.

“Antonia: …Apologies for disturbing all your thoughts, but… has anyone seen Cassidy this morning?” Well, that's… concerning. I could see someone targeting them to frame Antonia, but surely Cass is just skipping to avoid said Dealer, right?...

“Aidan: Shouldn’t you be worried about getting murdered or something…? Someone probably just died.” Bro can I ask for a little bit of optimism? I guess not given the talent, but y'know xp

“Harper: It’s a fair point. Perhaps we should split into groups of three. That seems like a safe number, and it… divides evenly…” Oh wait, we're actually doing this? I was kinda expecting Cass to respond in chat. Oh oh guys, she might actually be dead.

“Vanessa, having moved some of the furniture around, discovers a large, metal box, about the size of a mini fridge.” What…?

“Ellis: Just say “open sesame” and it should open right up.” Pfft. Appreciate you alleviating the tension, I'm actually very nervous.

“We continue to look the box over, trying to figure out some way that it might open. Then, we hear a quiet beep, and it swings open naturally.

The scent is our first sign that something is wrong. Vanessa, who was nearest to the box, frantically crawls backwards, putting more distance between it and herself.

Inside… is a torso.” I'm fucking sorry??? It's Chapter 1 and they're already dismembering people???? AAAAH-!

“Vanessa: What the fuck?!

Antonia: O-oh… oh my…

Ellis: Hh… wh… AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” Yeah sounds like appropriate reactions.

“Though I already suspected it, as the rest of our group joins us, it’s clear as day that the victim must be Cassidy Torres, the Ultimate Agent.” Well, while everyone is undergoing severe trauma, now that we have explicit confirmation of the victim, it's time to tally up some points in the guessing game!

I predicted Cass as the CH2 killer, so I get 1 Chapter point and 2 Role points (and in case you don't remember, getting points is bad). I'm pretty happy with that, given Cass’ role was a complete toss up for me, and I did manage to predict she'd go relatively early. I feel bad for accirax, who I'm pretty sure got the maximum amount of points possible here by guessing Cass as the mastermind (7 points ouch), sad times. The only other game I have available for comparison is Jonas', and while they got the role right, they'd guessed Cass would die in CH5, meaning four points there. Somehow I appear to be in the lead out of the three guessing game boards for now, which is probably not gonna last very long but you know.

Speaking of this game, I'm also probably guaranteed one chapter point from Vanessa now (plus some kind of point from the actual CH2 killer), because as a first impression, both she and Antonia are probably safe! The BDA rule in this fangan specifically says "three spotless” for the announcement, so unless there's some weird pre-discovery by a random other spotless, Ellis, Vanessa and Antonia can't be the blackened. Hell yeah.

Speaking of, though, I probably also got the CH1 killer wrong in the game.

My bad if this is going to be a canon note or truth bullet, but for now:

Personal Non-Canon Note: Robert's Quesianess. Robert was barely conscious at the sight of Cass’ body, implying he couldn't have been the one to dismember them.

I'm pretty shocked Cass was the one to die, actually. To quote myself from the last First Impressions post:

“I’m loving all the Antonia content this episode, but is it me or are we getting a lot of Cass? I’m starting to get worried for their safety. Considering what she said in the Bonus Scenes, I kinda doubt she’d go too early, but who knows.”

I'll give myself some credit for noticing Cass was getting a lot of content and wondering if that would mean she was gonna die, but as I said, I really wasn't thinking she'd go so early. I guess I overestimated how important her plans for the outside (don't remember their exact wording oops) would end up being.

But it's not like I dislike the choice! Cass did in fact get a few good scenes in, and their beef with Antonia, while short-lived, was very fun to watch. Very curious if this is all we'll get from her from now on, or if the secrets Antonia said Cass was keeping will end up being relevant later. Given first victims can often end up haunting the narrative a fair bit, I wouldn't discount the possibility.

Anyways, I'm talking a whole lot for someone who hasn't even started the Investigation, huh? Let's see what we can figure out in the short time this Part has left!

“Jeff: Thanks or whatever, but you see, I’d actually really rather not be here, so…” Yeah, Jeff wants out out by now, huh?

“Monoquin: The second thing is a piece of information that you’ll gain: the Monoquin File.” Ooh, one of these! You know, it's actually been a while since I've seen a fangan use something like this, I wonder what they'll be like.

“Aidan: Isn’t that unfair to the blackened?” Nice job not looking suspicious in the slightest Aidan, no one could possibly think you might be the killer after saying this! xD

“Monoquin: In every Monoquin File, there will be one lie.” Oh that's hilarious and incredible, I love it. I know Monokuma files in canon were also customized to hide information the blackened wanted hidden, but actually putting lies in the files is much more interesting. Can't wait to see how this gets used!

It's been a while since we've gotten an actual canon note, lovely!

“But, this is what I wanted, right? I mean, not this, exactly– I would’ve been fine if whoever it was did use that poison, especially if it meant a slow and painless death. But, still… a murder happened, and I’m not the victim or the killer. That’s how it should go for the Ultimate Lucky Student, right? This is just one step of many to be the one sole survivor at the very end.

So… chill, Ellis. Clearly this is some kind of great tragedy, but it was also inevitable. I’ll pay my respects, do my best to lend a hand in solving the case, and then go on with my daily life.” Well, Ellis’ "plan” seems to be holding up! Fun :)

Also interesting that Ellis was wishing for a "slow and painless” death as opposed to the more common “fast and painless”. I guess, though, if it's painless, it's better to wish for a slow death so the person has more time.

Which leaves us with murder theories! Though, obviously, we have next to no information. In terms of what happened to Cass, we only know she died at some point in the night (they were spotted at dinner the night before, after all), that the killer dismembered her, and that said killer left Cass’ torso in a metal box that opens… through some mechanism. It wasn't a box that was common knowledge, though.

An interesting point is the location, maybe. Here's the map of the fourth floor:

Cass’ room is there, which is decently notable. It's very possible the killer killed Cass in her own room, or perhaps in the killer's own room if it's on the fourth floor, as it would be weird for someone as paranoid as Cass to stray too far from her room during nighttime. Not too solid, though. There's the question of why dismembering her would be important, but that's impossible to know without more information. Hiding bodies isn't too important in this kind of killing game, but I guess there could be something about the torso itself that the killer didn't want the cast to know. Or maybe they wanted to delay the discovery? Again, impossible to know for now.

There's also the matter of the poison, which I doubt is unrelated. I have two early theories: either Cass was poisoned, and the killer dismembered them after their death; or Cass herself was the one who requested the poison, she invited someone to her room to kill them with it, but the person decided to kill Cass before she could try. Kinda find the first one more likely, especially because the "other stuff” that got requested alongside the poison could be the implements necessary to dismember and transport the corpse, but again, could be totally off.

Speaking of, the method of transport is an interesting question-

Okay give me a moment. While I was writing this, I pulled up Part 1 to see if anyone had requested anything notable for the talent show, and I saw the Chapter title along the way. While I'd already read it, I didn't realize until that point…

“Piece It Together"????? Venus???? That's- wow. I just- That's kinda fucked up… I love it I just can't believe you did that holy hell.

Back on track though. I couldn't find any notable request in the talent show, aside from possibly the wrapping paper Grace used, which could have technically been employed to hide the body parts during transport. Because of course it's the Clockmaker I find evidence about. Did you know their room is right next to Cass', too? xD

I jest, I don't really think Grace did it. For now, I can really only say what people I don't think it was. I already explained Robert (because he's too queasy), Ellis, Antonia and Vanessa (because BDA), but aside from that… you can stop counting lol. No one else really acted too unsuspiciously, though Kennedy requesting the search and Harper talking about the groups of three (ideal number for BDA stuff) might count for some loss of suspicion points? Then again, there is this part of Harper's line:

“Harper: That seems like a safe number, and it… divides evenly…” Make no mistake, this is an insane reach, but given the chapter title situation, I don't think it's impossible that Harper's slight hesitation right before ve says "divides evenly” could indicate that ve knows Cass got dismembered, aka ve's the blackened. The idea would be that ve's kinda disgusted by what ve's done, so ve regrets the word choice mid sentence. Of course, though, it's far more likely that ve hesitates just because ve's more used to the group being sixteen people, so the number three evenly dividing the group is an unfortunate reminder that they're missing one person. I don't really think Harper's too likely as the blackened, even though there is some setup for it with the fact ve's becoming restless in the game and the fact ver room is also on the fourth floor.

If I have to go for a read right now, though… well, Kennedy and Vivi had a positive interaction with Cass, and Vivi in particular would have the knowledge and experience to properly dismember a body. Not that I know whether or not there is such a thing as necessary knowledge and experience to do that, but there is a limit to the things I'm willing to google for these posts. Either could have maybe convinced Cass to be alone with them to discuss mastermind business, and both are on the fourth floor, but that's kinda it. On the other hand, Noah and Grace have both gotten a decent bit of screen time, are also on the fourth floor, and Grace in particular has the whole "hates wasting time” thing as a possible motive.

However, the one that worries me the most is actually Paris. She was noticeably silent during the original Cass and Antonia confrontation, and she's the one who brought it up, which could certainly be a strategy to frame Antonia by making it seem like she has a reasonable motive. She also more or less has an established motive with her fans, and could have potentially arranged a meeting with Cass either for mastermind gossip or the whole "Paris Pairs” brand she brought up earlier. Befriending Taylor so suddenly could have been a strategy to get an ally during the trial, and her symbol of teacups could kinda be connected to poison aside from the more immediately obvious "spill the tea” connection. Of course, that last point is only important if Cass was actually poisoned…

… And I just remembered that Paris specifically danced to "Toxic” in the talent show. In the chapter someone requested poison out of the Customer Service Desk. Oh god she might actually be a lot more suspicious than I thought she was. Oh oh.

Well… that sure was a thing! Really exciting body discovery, can't believe we have a dismemberment in chapter 1 already, damn. Also cool because Antonia and Vanessa don't seem to be the killer, which is great! And now I'm extremely worried about Paris’ survival, which is not so great, I like that one! Then again, I like all of these guys, so I'll get sad no matter who the blackened is.

As for Cass themselves, I'll mourn the loss, though I think it's very possible we still haven't heard the last of them. The secrets and lies Antonia caught still haven't been revealed, after all.

okay story time w chase ahem

so actually how i got into tumblr at all is very relevant to the chain of events that led to entre existing. so before here, i was mainly on a...particular art webbed site that was basically a sinking ship circa: 2010 so i forgot how i heard about tumblr? but i joined here at first just to do naruto comm rp. like my only account was a naruto rp account for the first... i dont remember how long

eventually i got curious enough to make a personal account and started being active on that. a bunch of my friendgroup from the other site moved with me and we were just hanging out being naruto nerds. at some point i got into homestuck/learned about the askblog format. i don't remember which came first, but i DID run kibanaru and flutterdash askblogs before the lorax was a blip on my radar

i remember when i was in the homestuck fandom, i was so used to the naruto fandom where like..sure it's huge but i had established myself in a corner of it and it felt very like... it was a community! and in the homestuck fandom i didn't feel like that at all. i felt swept out to sea and it was very lonely tbh aside from the friends id manage to drag with me into it, but i always felt a certain dissatisfaction from my time in it

a friend of mine was the one to show me the lorax and the once-ler. i don't...remember how THEY found him, but they were already very into him before they even came to me about him. and they basically nagged me into watching the movie LMFAO (this was when the movie was still freshly in theaters so all we had was shitty camrips and LiveStream was a thing) so i started to draw smexy onceler and oncest fanart to mess with them and...well y'know ye olde saying about doing things as a joke.

so yeah i kinda got...genuinely interested in him. especially after i watched the 72' short and reread the book and was like wait. this movie is mid as hell actually. (the siren song of mid media) and i was like "well if /i/ wrote the movie id do this n this n this n this" and then all that added up in my head and i was like wait.

what if i did a once-ler askblog where i just change certain things to what i like? it wasnt gonna be a complete revamp/remastering because i wanted to do a proper askblog so i wanted to have his character be recognizable to any fans of the onceler. and this was wayyyyy before anyone was getting the idea to do the very creative and expansive onceler takes we have these days as a norm. so it was kinda like? being shoehorned into being Canon!Once-ler because?? that's just how you did askblogs back then

BUT!! there were a few other askblogs already around back then (end of April 2012 for ref) so i didn't wanna do what everyone else was doing (very much Established Business Once-ler/Greed-ler, Vest-ler/Oncie, or Aftermath Once-ler) so i got the idea to do the onceler but! he's still very fresh and new to his business. still basically vest-ler/oncie in personality but with big things on the horizon.

i started creating his blog the weekend before may. that's why his birthday is May 1 because that's when i officially started his blog and posted his first post and all that. literally when he was born.

so yeah this was all to try and find my niche in a community again as well as do what i'd already been doing for years now: waving my headcanons in ppls faces via my art LMFAO

it was honestly pretty new for me in a bunch of ways so it was very scary. i even tried to keep it a total secret at first. i thought people wouldn't recognize me for my art style.... (yeah idk how i thought that'd work either) and i mean??? for the most part that was true because it's not like anyone in the once-ler fandom would've known me beforehand anyways

so for the first uhhh...idk it didn't last long tho..i was a secret mod, but i got too itchy about sharing art that i didn't wanna put on his blog so i broke that pretty quick. i had a lot of personal rules i put on myself on what to do/not to do on and with his blog. and i still, to this day, follow a handful of them. so when i drew other stuff that i didn't think fit on his blog, i was like well damn i wish i could show this somehow...

tho sometimes i wish i'd tried to keep up the secret mod shtick a little longer

anywho. from there it's kinda like..he really just grew on his own. new ideas, new inspiration, new experiences shaping this or that. now i can write him without touching him for years like i just picked him up yesterday. he's that wormed in my damn brain at this point. he's basically his own person sitting in my head telling me what to do with him/what he'd say

so yeah at first? it was just me trying to write a very accurate 2012 movie onceler with a few tweaks. and then he just grew organically into what he is now. that's still his root and so that's still the default direction i try to take, but he definitely has a lot of things that make him his own person at this point too. even on his main blog.

as for why he's so stupid goofy. well. that's because i like drawing dumb expressions. the end. and in the end i'm glad his main blog remained super unserious and lighthearted because it really helped me mentally a bunch (those random spikes in activity? yeah it was for my own mental health LMFAO he helps me...a lot...because of the escapism and comedy)

bonus: as for truffula flu entre. i don't remember if something in particular inspired me to make him the ender of the world. i just felt like it'd be a fitting story for the once-ler for him to be in that spot. and from there i just approached him how i thought someone like him would react were he to find himself in that position.

my goal was always to make him as human as possible. like he's technically the villain of this story, but he's also the protagonist. yaknow. so i wanted to really interweave those two ideas interestingly into his character (and now im obsessed w it)

originally i thought of truffula flu as everyone doing their own storylines. i didn't expect at all that everyone would adopt MINE as all of THEIR canons. that was LKFJSLDKF a big surprise for me i was like wait what. i guess it seems silly now in retrospect that i didn't expect that, but i was just like "well this is entre's story. ppl can do whatever else they want tho" but suddenly entre's story was everyone's story. and it's pretty cool i can't lie

Yesssssssssssss I love my knife collection 🙏🙏🙏🙏 can't exactly easily take a pic of them all together rn bc that'd take too much time, but I can share some posts I've made of my collection

Here's the last time I took a group pic of them all ^ it's outdated tho and it's missing a few pieces.

Here's the cool shits I got in Tennessee last summer ^ love the damascus. The switch blade is so fun to play with. Haven't fucked around much with the butterfly knife yet tho.

Here's one of my favorite knives ^ beautiful butterfly design pocket knife. Feels so good in the hand. I keep it in my bag.

Here's some throwing stars I bought in Estes Park in Colorado, the place The Shining was filmed. (I did not visit that hotel lol but I did catch a glimpse of it!). I'd flown over and I only had a carry on bag so I had someone mail them to me hfkshfkd also this was literally like a month or two after indiana legalized throwing stars. Hilarious story all around.

Here's the cute little leaf knife my sister gave me that I accidentally smuggled onto Two planes during the aforementioned Colorado trip. I forgot it was in my bag </3 but bc it looks like a leaf when closed, they didn't realize it was a knife. And I only realized I did this Afterwards, when I was unpacking my bag. Whoops! This is nowhere near the only time I've accidentally smuggled knives through security checkpoints (did it again just yesterday, in fact!) but theyre definitely a lot more strict about this stuff at airports. So it's a special kind of Whoops. Oh well it ended up fine

Andddddd here's a nonbinary knife that is currently still missing. Idk it's somewhere. I'll find it eventually.

I think there's also another damascus pocket knife I dont know the location of. I also bought another knife in the Tennessee trip that has my last name on it (bc of sentimentality) so I haven't shared pics of it. It's nice tho. I also have At Least 2 knives I got from my dad's house... maybe more??? Idk a lot of things were grabbed and it's been a few months. I need to go thru my shit I got from him lol. Oh I also got an axe thing from him. And a sawblade. Fun stuff!!!

I ALSO...

Bought this historical sword from a thrift shop. It's from uhhh oh yeah The Knights of Pythias. Symbol of the peace lily + FCB for Friendship, Charity, and Benevolence. Overall an organization with a purpose to promote peace. Did a lil research when I first got the sword, though I don't know Too much. Someday I wanna go digging to see if I can find record of the previous owner of this sword, Charles W Stephens (you can see it on the blade in the last pic). That day is not today tho lol.

Anyways yeah that's my knives collection as far as I can remember it rn 🤔🤔🤔 might have forgotten some. As u can probably tell, I have A Lot of knives. Not uncommon for me to lose track of a few every now and then hfkshfkd

EDIT: I FORGOT.. like 4 knives. I also have 2 necklace knives. One is a lil pocket knife and the other is a mini dagger in a sheath. Then there's uhh another dagger. And MAYBE a 4th knife. I don't remember. I really should formally add those to the collection at some point. They've just been in the dubious "I'll put those away eventually" territory so I haven't even taken pictures of them hfkshdjd but trust me they exist I prommy. I use the dagger necklace in my kitchen sometimes for opening packages. Idk it's just hanging out there. And it's beautifully sharp and wonderfully easy to access. If it weren't so heavy on the chain I'd consider wearing it more often.

Shuji feels a heavy weight partially lift off of his shoulders when he sees you finally awake, but it also pained him the way you looked so tired and devastated, sitting there with red, puffy eyes.

"Hey pretty girl." He says softly, reaching over and wiping a few stray tears with the back of his hand. It felt so strange to him, being so soft and gentle with someone, and caring so much. He never realized how powerful tears could be until right now. You had his heart clenching and didn't even know it.

"I don't feel pretty. I feel terrible." You mutter blandly with a light sniffle, looking down with a deep frown on your lips.

"Trust me you're still a ten even in a hospital bed." He grins, attempting to lighten the mood, but honestly...it was just truly how he felt.

"Stop..." You purse your lips together, trying not to smile at that.

"I mean it." He says softly, leaning down and giving you a quick, uncharacteristically gentle kiss.

Finally you give him a smile, that cute, shy smile that gets him every time. But as fast as the smile appeared, it faded right back into that same deep frown from before. "I-...I don't want you to go away." You murmur sadly, looking up at him with nearly desperate looking eyes.

Shuji furrows his brows. "What're you talkin' about? I'm right here. I'm not goin' anywhere."

"No." You shake your head, "I mean...I-I don't want you to leave me. I don't want this to go away." Your tone is so quiet he almost doesn't hear you, or really, he almost doesn't believe you actually just said that.

"Angel...-

"I don't want you to be like this with another girl; doing to her what you do to me. I want you to just be this way with me, 'cause I-...I li-

Abruptly, Shuji cuts you off with a soft kiss. He wasn't fully sure why he went and did it but, it was just the first thing that came to his mind. Slowly he pulls away, his eyes closed as he struggles to manage the awkward and unnecessarily aggressive pounding in his chest.

"Don't say it." He whispers desperately.

"But-

"I'm serious, you don't know what you're talkin' about. I don't think you really mean all this." He says rather uneasily.

"No, I do! I mean it, I like you!" You assert in a bit of a whiny tone, looking up at him with the most sincerest expression you could muster.

"No", He shakes his head, "No, you don't. You're just...probably feelin' emotional right now 'cause of everything goin' on." He concludes. Truly he wasn't sure he could handle hearing this from you.

You frown, but press on anyways, determined to get your feelings across. "I like you, Shuji. I wanna be more-

"Stop." He says wearily, shaking his head. The more you say it the more it forces him to have to actually acknowledge it, actually do something about it, and he had no idea what to do about this.

"Don't you?! Don't you like me too?! You really don't feel anything for me; not-..not at all?!" Your eyes instantly blur for the thousandth time, small tears starting to make their way down your cheeks just as you had finally stopped crying a second ago.

Shuji sighs exasperatedly, feeling like an asshole for making you cry, even though he was ninety eight percent sure this was purely just heat of the moment, high emotions talk. "Come on, don't cry angel; where's this even comin' from? You have a boyfriend, remember? You know that. You can't ask me somethin' like this." He coos, wiping away your tears with his thumb. He felt so hypocritical saying that. Since when has he ever given a shit about you having a boyfriend?

"So, you don't then? This whole time you-...you don't really like me?" You sniffle, casting your gaze downwards in a mix of hurt and embarrassment. Shuji feels stuck, at a complete loss as he tries to rack his brain for something to say that could possibly diffuse this. For the first time ever he feels completely overwhelmed by a situation; by another person. This was way too far out of his usual territory, and it's throwing him off.

"I-...look, I really don't think this is the right time to talk about-

"Do you or not?!" You press, becoming annoyed at the way he keeps fumbling around and deflecting. For a moment there's nothing but silence between you two. Both eyes locked onto one another stubbornly, inaudibly waiting for the other to crack and accept their loss.

Then finally, Shuji looks to the side with a grunt, jaw clenched tightly while facepalming in defeat. "...I do." He admits in a hushed, low tone.

"What?" You mutter in surprise, blinking a few times.

"I got feelings for you. I've had feelings for you for a while now." He clarifies, his tone still soft yet there's a clear discomfort. "But...you know I don't know anything about that boyfriend stuff; I'm not good at that kind'a thing. I can't give you what you need." He adds apologetically. Instantly you feel a small sharp sting in your heart, completely taken aback by his excuse.

"What does that mean? You-.. so you don't wanna be with me?" You mutter.

Shuji feels genuinely terrible, the way your voice is shaking with that hurt expression, it's killing him. "It's not about if I wanna be with you. Even if I wanted to you're already with somebody else. We can't be more than this anyways." He shakes his head, brushing your tear stained cheek with the back of his fingers.

You use a little bit of strength to place your small hand over his. "If I wasn't with him would you be with me?" You ask, looking him right in the eyes, not at all believing his words. He's never been the type to not go after something he wanted, no matter if it was his or not.

Shuji huffs tiredly, once again feeling cornered by your difficult questions. "I mean, I don't know, I-

"Would you?" You cut him off, your tone soft yet you were clearly getting impatient.

You and that look in your eyes is gonna be the death of him for sure. "If you weren't with him you'd probably already be my girl by now." He admits straight away. Inwardly he was cringing so hard at himself, second guessing his own response.

That sounded sappy as fuck...

You seemed to think otherwise though, with the way your lips instantly curve into a small, warm smile. "I wanna be your girl, Shuji." You hum longingly. Softly, you brush your pretty lips against the back of his tattooed hand, looking him in the eyes with a passion-filled gaze all the while.

"What the hell are you doin', angel?" Shuji whispers breathlessly. The audacity to say something like that and do something like that, all while looking at him like that...

In any other normal situation you pulling off something like this would damn sure have him bending you over the nearest surface and making you his girl. Shit, you could be whatever you wanted talking to him like that!

"I'm just telling you what I want." You murmur honestly against his hand.

"I think...the drugs are talkin' right now." He chokes out hesitantly, using every bit of his strength to block out all the loud, sexual thoughts trying to force its way to the forefront of his mind. "I don't care, it's still how I feel. I wanna be with you." You answer without even a second of hesitation, shaking your head.

Shuji wonders if this must be how you feel when he acts this way towards you, a wild mixture of feeling both so tempted yet so damn conflicted. Then just to make it even worse you have him fully seduced and wrapped around your little ass finger, ready to do whatever you ask.

"Only you would have me genuinely turned on while literally laying in a hospital bed." He facepalms, resting his head down on your shoulder.

"Maybe..." You start rather arbitrarily, turning your head towards him as you let go of his hand, "The next time I'm in a hospital bed will be because you finally put a baby in me." You murmur innocently.

"What?!" Shuji instantly whips his head up, blinking a few times while looking at you with his jaw on the floor. For the first time in his life something someone else has said to him has him literally dumbfounded. The audacity...the randomness, it was so....hot. His brain was completely malfunctioning, both trying to process and replay your words at the same time to make sure he actually heard you right.

Meanwhile you're just sitting there, sheepishly pursing your lips together to hide the little cutesy smile on your face, and it's making him mad. More like a concerning level of sexually frustrated, but that's besides the point. It's heinous the way you have him fully bricked up and ready in this stupid ass hospital, yet he can't do anything about it, and you're literally proud about that! It should be illegal to say something like that so innocently. You knew exactly what you were doing, and you knew it was working too.

"You don't know what you're sayin'. You-...you're talkin' crazy, baby." He says softly, shaking his head while running a hand through his dark hair.

"No I'm not." You deny in such an innocent, sweet tone.

"Yeah, ok. We'll see if that's still how you feel when you're fully sober." He sighs, deeply inhaling and exhaling to keep that tiny little shred of composure he had left.

Then with absolutely perfect timing, Dr. Chen walks back in with a clipboard full of documents. Thank God, if he had stayed any longer he was a undoubtedly sure he was gonna end up risking it all in this hospital and doing some shit he really shouldn't.

"I have the documents here for you to sign and give consent for the forensic exam process." She states politely, walking over to the other side of the hospital bed and placing the clipboard on your lap.

"Feel free to stay if you'd like. We can't start until all the documents are signed, so you have some time." She adds, turning her attention to him.

"Nah nah, I should go." He shakes his head. "I'll come back later." He adds softly, giving you one last look before making his way to the door.

Just as Shuji leaves your room, a familiar face makes him stop dead in his tracks. It's your late ass "boyfriend", and he looks pissed, storming over to him with his eyes blazing with animosity.

Perfect timing....how ironic.

"I fuckin' knew it. I knew it would be you!" He grits out, stepping right up to him.

On the bright side, this is the perfect opportunity for Shuji to let off some of his frustration. Definitely not in the way he'd like to, but...it'll have to do for now.

Meanwhile, Keisuke and Kazutora are just down the hall, coming back from one of the nearest vending machines with their hands full of snacks. "Wait wait wait, you hear that?" Kazutora murmurs, slowing to a stop as he listens intently to the semi-faded yelling.

"Is that Ryuguji?! How the hell does he know about this?!" Kei rambles in bewilderment.

"Oh, I texted him a while ago. I figured he'd wanna know since it's his girlfriend." Kazutora shrugs plainly.

"You idiot..." Kei narrows his eyes.

"What?! What'd I do?!"

"Bro, they're not on good terms right now!" Kei scolds.

"Who?! Hanma and Ryuguji?" Kazutora's brows furrow.

"Nooooo! Ryuguji and Y/N aren't cool right now! But I mean, I guess him and Hanma aren't cool either."

Kazutora's mouth falls into an "O" shape, the both of them going silent as they listen in to whatever was going on.

"Don't fuckin' play these stupid ass games with me! I know for a fact you're the one fuckin' my girl! Don't even try to act like it's not true, Hanma!" Ryuguji accuses.

Both Kei and Kazutora's eyes go wide, mouths dropping as they look at each other utterly shook.

"Whaaaaaat?!" Kazutora mouths quietly.

"What is goin' on?!" Kei murmurs.

"Did you know that?!" Kazutora whispers.

"Hell no! I didn't even know he knew Y/N!" Kei shakes his head frantically.

"Woooooow." Kazutora whispers.

"Your girl?! You're really bitchin' to me about games when you're the one playing pretend with her every single day. She's literally never been your girl." Hanma claps back nonchalantly.

"Wait what?!" Kazutora gasps once again.

"Ok, well see, that I did know." Kei murmurs.

"What does he mean pretend?!" Kazutora whispers.

"So like, Y/N and Ryuguji are actually a fake couple, bro. They're not really together; never have been." Kei explains briefly.

At this point Kazutora has to take a short lap, his brain failing to comprehend the whole situation. "Wait hold up, hold up. Y/N and Ryuguji...aren't actually together. Then on top of that, she's in a whole separate thing with Hanma at the same time?!"

"I-..I guess so, yeah. She didn't tell me the part with Hanma though; I have no idea where or when he came in." Keisuke shrugs, feeling just as lost as his friend.

"It's like a fake love triangle. No, a...love diagonal? I don't even know, college is crazy bro." Kazutora shakes his head. "Should we like...break this up though?"

"Not even gonna lie, I'm kinda trynna hear this." Kei admits with a guilty laugh. "No facts, this is dramatic as fuck." Kazutora nods, joining in with the laughter, then tuning back into the argument.

"That doesn't matter! You probably didn't even know it was fake until she told you at some point! That means before that, you knew we were together, yet you still went after her anyways!" Ken rants.

Shuji pauses for a second, looking to the side in thought before forming a response. "Ok...sure. You're still not actually together though, so being mad at me is crazy. You should actually be her real boyfriend in the first place before being this pissed that she's fuckin' someone else." Hanma shrugs plainly.

Kazutora leans over towards Keisuke, whispering quietly "They're really deadass fighting over her..."

"No like, in the middle of a hospital too. When has Hanma ever argued over a girl, bro?" Keisuke says in a dazed tone.

"Never...never." Kazutora responds.

"If this were the other way around-

"If this were the other way around she'd actually be mine. I would never be caught in a fake ass relationship then have the audacity to be mad when I find out she's fuckin' someone else! That's just straight idiot behavior." Shuji cuts off Ken annoyedly, his tone fully condescending.

"You're going out of your way to miss the point, Hanma! You're a fuckin' snake!" Ken rants.

"I'm a snake 'cause your "girlfriend" wants to be with me instead?!"

"Because you stole her from me! On purpose!"

"She's not yours to steal! You're relationship is faaake! That shit ain't real!" Shuji stresses.

Ken clenches his jaw angrily. "Unlike you, I actually give a damn about her! And honestly, wether our relationship's real or not, I'm the one she's with at the end of the day, not you!" Ken points out with angry finality. And with that, Shuji was completely over this argument. Using being a fake boyfriend as a flex was the dumbest shit he's ever heard possibly in his whole life.

"Right, sure. She might be your "girlfriend" or whatever, but that doesn't really mean shit when I'm all she thinks about every time she's with you." He countered with a level of pride that made Ken's blood boiling hot.

"Ooooo..." Both Kazutora and Keisuke murmur lowly. "That was excellent. He won with that one." Kazutora says, hovering a hand over his mouth. "To be honest, Ryuguji was never gonna win this. They've been "together" for like two years and he's still never bothered to make it official?! No, he's trash. Completely fumbled the bag."

"Y/N's pretty too, he really-

Kazutora cuts himself off, watching with wide eyes as Ryuguji suddenly goes for a punch right for Hanma's face. "OOOOHHHH!" The two guys gasp loudly. "I knew that was comin'." Keisuke shakes his head. Ken went and set things off to a whole other level. Both of them start full out fighting right in the middle of the waiting area...in the middle of a hospital.

"Shit, alright, we gotta jump in! You get Hanma, I'll handle Ryuguji!" Keisuke says hurriedly. The two of them sort of scramble around for a second, trying to figure out where to put their snacks before just leaving it all on the floor and racing over to the fight.

"Ryuguji, chill the fuck out! You're in a hospital! This is crazy!" Keisuke scolds, grabbing him by the forearm. It was like Kei wasn't even there with the way Ken just kept swinging and shit talking. It didn't take too much for Kazutora to get Hanma to back off, seeing as he wasn't nearly as pissed.

"Just admit you're jealous, Hanma!" Ryuguji shouts.

"You're so delusional it's actually sad. The only one jealous is you 'cause you know Y/N doesn't feel the same way about you!" Shuji retaliates.

"Don't even bother, don't even bother." Kazutora says, shaking his head as he tries to drag Hanma along towards the hallway him and Keisuke had just came from.

"Do you even actually give a shit about her-

"Ryuguji shut the fuck up!" Keisuke outbursts loudly. That last bit Ken had said just hit him all kinds of wrong. Finally he shuts up, no longer struggling against Keisuke's grasp as he looks at him with wide eyes, completely caught off guard that he'd went and yelled at him like that.

"You're really over here talkin' about if he gives a shit about Y/N?! Do you even realize that as soon as you got here the very first thing you decided to do was start a stupid ass argument with Hanma when your supposed girlfriend is literally laying in a hospital bed right there?!" Keisuke rants, pointing over at your room just a few feet away.

Ken freezes, the awareness of what he did, or rather didn't do, finally starting to sink in. There were so many people staring at him, looks of distaste being thrown his way from the nurses, families, and patients alike.

"Exactly. I swear Ryuguji I don't know what the hell's goin' on with you lately, but you need to get it together real fuckin' quick. There's no way you really believe you love Y/N when not at any point did you go and check on her, or even just look at her to see if she's fine! She got drugged, bro; she had a seizure! When I went in there she was scared as fuck, she could barely even move! You'd actually know all that had you gone in there to see her!"

The more Keisuke spoke the more utterly embarrassed Ken felt. Once again he goes and screws everything up by running his mouth. It wasn't like he wasn't worried about you or didn't wanna check on you, it's just...when he saw Hanma come out of your room his mind went somewhere else.

It's the fact that he was here before him, already having checked on you and supporting you; probably holding you close and making sure you felt safe. It made him feel like a failure. What good was he when already three other guys were here for you?

It's what he's always been afraid of, that you're just fine and completely unfazed without him. For the longest time that's been his worst nightmare, and somehow he never thought it could get worse than how bad it already was.

Now Hanma's just his nightmare in physical form. The personification of all his fears when it comes to you, and during his entire argument with him all Ken could hear in his mind was:

He's everything I'm not...

Horrific images of the two of you together haunted him every second he looked at Hanma. He could see your arms around him, exchanging kisses and smiles; running your little fingers through his hair. Any thought of your desperate boyfriend completely gone out of your mind.

Honestly Ken just wants you to need him like he needs you. To feel like you have nothing if you don't have him. He wants you to fall apart without him so he can come and piece you back together, like how you'd always do with him. But today just made it obvious.

That's probably never gonna happen...

Then right on cue, he spots someone at the end of one of the hallways that led from the main lobby of the hospital.

Your mother.

Everybody's hearts seemed to drop to their feet at the sight of her. It didn't take rocket science for Shuji and Kazutora to realize you were related. You were this woman's spitting image. "Ms. L/N..." Keisuke whispers under his breath, taking a step away from Ken. With a strained exhale she makes her way over to where Ken and Keisuke are in the center of the waiting area. Kazutora and Hanma are completely frozen, just watching as she approaches the other two.

"Ms. L/N, I-I'm so sorr-

She doesn't even look at Ken, just raises her hand without a word, immediately silencing him. She definitely heard and saw everything, or at least a good portion. That much was obvious.

"Keisuke?" She says lowly, actually looking at him.

"Yes ma'am?" He responds instantly, tone dripping with politeness and respect.

"Take me to my daughter's room. Right now." Ms. L/N demands, her voice making it clear she was not trynna hear anything other than yes.

"Ok. She's in here." He nods, quickly making his way to her side.

"Thank you." She breathes out tiredly.

Ken stands there, eyes wide in a mixture of embarrassment and shock. Your mom really chose Keisuke over him...right in front of him. She'd rather a friend go in there with her than her own daughter's boyfriend?! At this point he couldn't tell which thing hurt more, the fact that you're slipping away from him, or the fact that your mom didn't even trust him anymore.

Later That Evening

Your eyes could barely stay open from how tired you are at this point. You needed your bed immediately, and nothing else.

The examination process was finally over, and you were almost cleared to leave the hospital, but your mom's constant rambling and nagging was just getting started.

"-You hear me? Not another second with that boy!"

"Who? Keisuke?" You murmur tiredly, brows slightly furrowed in genuine confusion.

"No! I mean that boy you've been messing around with! He's caused nothing but trouble for you, and I've had enough! I'm over it; this is too much!" She stresses, gesturing towards all of you with a hand.

"He's not the one that did this." You shake your head. It hadn't even fully registered to you that she's somehow well aware about you and Shuji.

"That's not the point, Y/N. I don't want you around him anymore; I mean that."

You didn't have the energy to put up much of a fight and protest, honestly you were sure you'd probably go home and forget this conversation too just like everything else from today. Once the doctors clear you, your mom decides to be the one to take you back to your dorm, leaving Keisuke, Ken, and everyone else to head off by themselves.

Your mom came with you all the way up to your dorm room, making sure you were in there safe and sound before finally heading out. Of course not without making it clear for the thousandth time that she doesn't want you anywhere near Shuji.

Immediately you practically rip your clothes off then plop face first right onto your plush bed. "What kind of day was this?" You whisper to yourself, that weighty, dark feeling making its way back onto your shoulders with full force. It was shocking yet really not that no more tears were left, your body too exhausted to do anything else but lay. Weakly you get yourself under the blankets, snuggling and curling into a little ball to comfort yourself and bring some warmth.

SIMS RELATED PROJECTS/UPDATES

My spring break is coming up in a week and holy crap do I have plans on plans on plans, especially since my summer is gonna be full of school + internship + HOPEFULLY friggin' graduating with a BA in Psychology so that I can start applying to grad schools.

GOAL 1: MASTER GSHADE/ReSHADE

I know that some people are sticklers for this but my thing is that I had no gee-dee clue what I was doing with ReShade, whereas Gshade just kinda clicked and worked for me? That said I have a bunch of resources for learning ReShade so I might end up moving back to it at some point.

My main issue is figuring out the order of all the different effects. It obviously matters, I'm sure people smarter than me have tried to use presets only to be like "why tf does this look absolutely nothing like the baller screenshots this one cool Simblr has?" Annnd it turns out it's order + remembering to turn off certain graphic settings. Also photoshop, but that's gonna take a lot longer for me to figure out lol.

Like I'd been struggling to figure out why @gunthermunch's gorgeous Lithium preset wasn't looking as sexy as it did before annnnd it's because I forgot to turn Edge Smoothing off when switching to it. Jesus wept at how dippy I am sometimes.

Eventually, what I would like to do is maybe make my own preset at some point? I would be kind enough to show the effect order too if I did so. But this requires so, so much more shader knowledge than I currently have.

FUN FACT: My first ever degree was in art, I even went to a very fancy and private art school (School of the Art Institute of Chicago if you're curious)- I dropped out after one semester because uhhh that shit is expensive. Ended up finishing my degree at a much cheaper location in MN. That said, my art was 100% analog and 2D, and it turns out it did not translate super well into trying my hand at graphic art.

It's funny because I've been gifted really neat stuff for graphic art (like a really nice Wacom tablet and Adobe subscriptions), like people just expected my mixed-media ass would know what to do with it. NOPE! But yeah, Sims is sort of my excuse to try my hand at this stuff again, especially since I have a bit more energy now that my soul is not regularly being drained out of my body by customer service and tech support jobs.

GOAL 2: GET CRACKIN' ON ANOTHER DOOR

This one is hard because I am only on Gen 2 of the Orsons and it's sort of hard to justify starting up another story while that one is less than 1/5 of the way done.

THAT SAID, I don't plan on posting Another Door until I have a decent chunk of it done. Since it's not a casual gameplay story nor a legacy challenge, I plan on editing the bajeez out of the screenshots for it, really honing in on the aesthetic. I want it to look and feel very different from my random legacy challenge.

Fortunately, this story has been fucking up my sleep schedule for *months* now and I have a lot of the writing for it done. The hard part is translating that into the Sims, making sure I get the right poses and stuff, maybe even learning how to make some super easy CC (like, posters and stuff), and stuff related to GOAL 1 above.

What I'm saying is that it's going to take a bit. But I'm super serious about sharing it because it's my obsession and honestly the first time a story of my own design has possessed me in literal years.

Also, I want to make sure I have a significant backlog of the Orsons before I start seriously simming for it, because I don't want to screw over my favorite little pixel babies. This legacy challenge is going to be the one, I have done so much to keep my save files to keep it safe from harm (ask me how many backups I have of the save files. JK don't, the number is frankly silly).

GOAL 3: START YET ANOTHER MASSIVE CC PURGE

Y'all, my CC folder for this game is honestly an embarrassment. I go so hard on CC shopping because this community is stupid-talented and I like giving my pixel babies nice things and cool looks. When I'm bored and not quite in the mood for gameplay, I just like making neat-looking sims that I do absolutely nothing with because I love fucking around in CAS.

I have built my own PCs since I was 17 years old, and when I first built COMPUTERMACHINE (current rig) back in the autumn of 2018, it was with the goal that it would run Sims 4 flawlessly no matter what I did to it. It's got ridiculous amounts of RAM, I religiously update parts for it. And to be fair, even with the current 6,907,907,890 TB of CC I have atm it runs better than Sims 3 ever had with a measly 50 GB of CC.

But for me, it comes down to finding all the stuff I wanna use. Making myself get rid of the stuff I don't wanna use. Straight up yeeting the CC that I thought was going to look incredible that uh, didn't deliver.

I do CAS CC purges about once a year but have literally never done it for Build & Buy stuff, because OMG some of this shit I've had since 2014. Like when Sims 4 first came out. YIKES. My CAS CC obsession is notable but it's honestly nothing compared to my Build & Buy. Even before For Rent made building lots slow af, my PC was starting to take a solid minute to switch to different buy categories.

It would take a long af time so I want to make sure I have a bunch of content in the queue before I do it. It's gonna be a whole ass thing and be so, so boring to do. So I'm putting it off for when I have a ton of time to do it. Like, oh, my entire Spring Break?

GOAL 4: MAKE A FRIGGIN' RESOURCES LIST ALREADY

This would obviously need to wait until after GOAL 3 is completed, but I wanna make sure the awesome creators whose stuff I use get credit, and that people know where they can grab neat stuff. It would include not only CC but mods, Gshade/ReShade presets, and maybe even lots and sims I've downloaded from the gallery?

(Since I am super anti-paywall and very unapologetic and rude about it, I will also share where one could perhaps get some of these CCs without paying some dip a Trenta Starbucks Unicorn Frappucino amount of $$$)

It's ambitious as hell because *gestures vaguely at GOAL 3* but it would make things like doing WCIF asks and lookbooks so much easier.

Somewhat relatedly, I wanna make a navigation post, especially once Another Door starts getting posted. That story is gonna be a bit huge with multiple arcs that take place over the course of like, 14 years. Plus once the Orsons get to the 4th+ generation, it would be easier to track things down.

IN CONCLUSION...

I have been having so much fun sharing my silly little Sim adventures on Tumblr, so much more than I ever thought I would! You all have been so great to me, and all of this stuff is sort of a way for me to repay that. Ever since I stopped being able to be artistically creative ever since a really nasty depressive spell in 2017, Sims has been my #1 artistic outlet. And having people who are even somewhat entertained by my pixels is incredibly motivating.

Basically, if you read all of this, DAMN would you have been a rad livejournal follower of mine circa 2007. On the seriousness, however, thank you all so much for being rad and encouraging and sweet. I promise to do you all, if not proud, then at the very least not disappointed.

Hello anyone possibly seeing this!! This blog is going to serve as a documentation of making a ghost of Ricky Fitness, the drummer for the band The Aquabats! I don't really expect this to gain any traction as it's just going to be a place for me to keep all my info together but if you're interested by where this goes by all means please follow along!!

I had the idea for this ghost while I was at work today lol and it's been all I can think about so I really hope I follow through on this

Why Ricky? Years and years ago my stepdad got me into the Aquabats, specifically the Super Show and I was obsessed with it. Immediately Ricky was my favorite, I dressed up as him for halloween one year and actually had an aquabats themed birthday. Then in 2019 I got see them live when they went on tour. After that I sortaaaa forgot about them for a while until I saw them on their most recent Finally tour!! I saw them a few days ago and waow it brought back the obsession FAST!! I actually got to high five Ricky after the show and yea shit was back full force lol. Been binging the super show lately and just finished s2 and I'll move onto the radventure series soon.

I know I could (and probably should) make this about a more and wildly known character but anyone could do that, pretty sure most people aren't making Ricky ghosts so here I am

Timeline- I really have no idea how long this is gonna take as I have never done this lol. I'm still in school and have work so my free time is limited but at the least I would like this to be done before next summer starts. This may be a good or awful estimate of time but again I have no clue so...!

To make this I am using the ghost walkthrough by Zarla the creator of the Undertale AU, Handplates (my fav au🫶). I will link that guide at the bottom.

I haven't officially even started this besides downloading the template but I'm hoping to really start it tomorrow

This specific post will be updated every time I make progress on this . I have little coding experience besides customizing html code on toyhouse so I really don't know how long this is gonna take.

bc they were busy w a case

“you got locked out?? i KNEW we forgot something… how about you come down to the station? there’s plenty of places to sit.”

so you did!!

karen was waiting for you when you got there, and they even let you sit in on the conversation they were having

it was kinda intense but honestly rly cool to see what being a lawyer was actually like

so that took like an hour or two

but then they were finally done.

“you hungry y/n? we were going to go to lunch. there’s this place right down the street from the firm that’s really good.” matt said.

“sounds great!!” you replied, grateful that he had suggested it

and so that’s how you found yourself at josie’s in the middle of the day, laughing harder than you ever had before and having a chicken wing eating contest with foggy and some random regulars

josie was so nice too, like she seemed to love you from the moment you came in

and the wings she made smelled so good

so then one of the guys who was at the bar (kinda drunk lowkey but like fun drunk???)

he pointed at foggy and he was like

“i bet i could eat more wings than you.”

and you were like “uhhh i kind of doubt that bc i saw him eat his lunch yesterday and he’s like an animal with that stuff”

which was a lie you actually had no idea if he could or not

and matt was literally about to spit out his coke he was laughing so hard

“oh yeah?” he asked

imagine that villan eyebrow raise

“well then. looks like we have ourselves a competition!!”

and so then you got to sit at the bar with foggy, the man (whose name was marv btw) and another guy named brian

idk

and y’all ATE

karen was so proud of you

she was cheering so loud

and again, matt’s coke was gonna go through his nose he was still laughing

long story short you won

ofc

and marv was so funny he was like “well done… you might not beat me next time.”

and josie was like “ok marv”

anyways you were grinning from ear to ear.

you had never been happier

as you were walking back to the office, you decided to tell karen, matt, and foggy about how the people at school made fun of you when they found out where your placement was

and like how it had made u feel really bad at first but that you were so happy it turned out alright

BETTER than alright

“hey, kid. we DO have more fun!!” said foggy, clapping a hand on your shoulder.

“yeah. i know the type that would say stuff like that.” karen replied, making a twisted up face that made you laugh.

“you know you can come here anytime. even when you’re not technically scheduled!!” she said.

“it’s nice to have a fourth person around the office. someone with more sense than these two knuckleheads.” matt grinned. “who knows? maybe one day it’ll be y/l/n, nelson, murdock, and page!!”

“yeah, you can inherit it from us when we’re old!!” foggy said, enthusiastically nodding

“aw, you already are old!” you said, and karen laughed

and that’s when you knew you were right where you belonged :)
