His comments were always eye rolling, they never really bothered you because it wasn’t anything you haven’t heard from a middle school boys

You always assumed he was able to read since you often catch him laughing at random comic books his brothers mailed to him.

It wasn’t until he was trying to read a sign while you and him were taking a drive back to the base

Okay! so because im normal and enjoy Great God Grove way more than i anticipated i've decided to sit down and try and look for any interesting dialogue i've missed chapter by chapter if i can. Huh, interesting. To me this feels a little like a mask-dropping moment? The initial response has about the most negative expression we get from him this early in the game and he is weirdly quiet until the last dialogue bubble. Like we struck a nerve and hes trying to play it off. Does make ya wonder what exactly was going on while he was mortal. Second interaction! okay just imagine being friends with colin and jamie being like slightly jealous

okay so i’m thinking about doing like a psych major!reader who shadows Dr Sharon at the football club for experience and ends up having a thing with Jamie... like Jamie asks for her to tutor him on psych knowledge and being a better person and ofc they lowkey fall for each other but don’t know it... 

ANYWAYS AROUND THAT PLOT LINE... the reader and Colin end up as bffs (lowkey spoilers for Colin’s info in s3?).. also my bestie is @sokkigarden and i love and appreciate her support

okay, so reader is shadowing Dr Sharon and Colin is so nice that he consents to her sitting in on the session since Dani was a bit too traumatised to have any silent observers 

she doesn’t speak and tries not to make too much eye contact but when they do lock eyes, she gives him a soft smile, and he returns it

after the session, now only 3 people know Colin’s gay... him, her, and Dr Sharon. when she catches his eye at the end of the session, she does a little lock and key motion to her lips as if to say ‘my lips are sealed, promise’ with a soft smile, and he smiles and nods

the reader is usually extroverted and chatty but remains professional - not really interacting with the boys unless necessary (obvi Ted won’t have any of it, but that’s a diff point) so Colin isn’t too fussed about her...plus, she seems genuinely nice

in the next couple of weeks, the reader bumps into Colin in the hallway and goes, “oh!! Colin, I was out on the weekend and saw this and thought of you, so um, here :))” and nervously passes him a small pocketbook of affirmations since Dr Sharon instructed him to reaffirm “I am a strong and capable man”

he grins and thanks her, and then BOOM, they’re now good friends. he offers to drop her home when her Uber cancels, and they blast Taylor Swift and rap to Drake 

now fast forward a while when Jamie asks the reader to tutor him in psych/therapy, and it is a funny exchange:

Jamie: you’re uh, good at this psych shit huh?

Reader: uhh, you mean the 4+ years I’ve dedicated to this degree? Yea, I kinda hope I’m good at this psych shit

Jamie: can you help me do better at therapy?

Reader: um,, therapy is more of a personal thing.. you kinda do better yourself

Jamie: oh, then what do you do :/

Reader: -_-

Jamie:  no no, I didn't mean it like that, fuck sorry

Reader: I can tell you about tools and theories that can HELP YOU help yourself

so they’re like a month in with this whole ‘tutoring’ thing and she’s at his place and he notices a childish bracelet on her wrist.. he seems to notice a lot about her but he tells himself it’s cause he’s getting more self-awareness (lmao dumbass, SELF-awareness has nothing to do with HER hair, eyes, and new accessories but sure)

okay the next day in the locker room, he sees Colin w the same bracelet??? so he asks and Colin’s all like, “it’s a friendship bracelet, boyo!” and Jamie just kinda nods not replying before they head out onto the pitch

next time he and the reader are tutoring he asks why she and Colin are wearing the same bracelet thingy...she tells him it’s a friendship thingy and she made it for the both of them.... Jamie just kinda stares and goes ‘where’s mine.’ 

she blinks at him and tilts her head, “are we friends?” and his mouth falls open “we’re fuckin not???” he questions, slightly offended. and she’s all like “no no, ofc we are... but maybe just not friendship bracelet level friends” 

Jamie fights back a pout, but there’s a crease in the middle of his brows and she wants to lean forward to flatten it with her thumb but fights the urge

there’s silence for a moment...

I was so so so excited to see more of Kinger because for some reason, just seeing him, I had a feeling he was going to be my favorite character. And, next to Caine, YEAH THAT HAPPENED I LOVE HIM SO MUCH

BUT ALSO??? I FEEL LIKE THERE IS MORE TO HIM???

As soon as I heard he's been in the circus the longest, I was like. hello.

but then. more interesting things about him kept showing up???

LIKE FIRST OF ALL. HEY DOES KINGER HAVE A WIFE?

or uh. had. i guess DID he use to have a wife. Based on a lot of the X'd out characters in the hallway, these are all characters who ended up getting abstracted. As soon as I saw a female queen counterpart for Kinger, I KNEW there HAD to be something more with that. like there has got to be a story behind this and it makes me SAD LIKE WERE THEY FRIENDS?? WERE THEY IN LOVE AS KING AND QUEEN???? KINGER'S ALREADY THE LOOPY ONE AROUND HERE DID LOSING HER JUST MAKE THAT WORSE????

Another interesting thing, at least to me, is how he refers to himself as royalty. Like, YES, clearly that's what his character is. He's the king chess piece, he has a royal little. cape thing. but i'm wondering whether or not that's just him feeding more into the character he's supposed to be or if that means something.

because him being the character who's been here the longest, and also supposedly being "royalty" is an interesting combination. but not ONLY that but i noticed this on my SECOND watch-through, but there's this one little conversation at the end that sort of starts to fade out

Where Kinger just starts explaining how no, nobody is really hungry, it's a digital world where they don't need to eat and only gives "the virtual sensation of eating". Jax then responds "lay off it. Since when are you an expert on the digital world?" where Kinger then gets a bit weird again and is like lmao what's a digital world

but THAT'S REALLY INTERESTING TO ME. AND YES IT SORT OF PLAYS OFF AS A JOKE AND JUST LEADS BACK TO KINGER BEING THE KINDA MENTALLY UNSTABLE ONE, HE... DID HAVE AN INTELLIGENT RESPONSE LIKE THAT.

So considering Kinger has been here the longest, is representing royalty, and seems knowledgeable on the digital world (though what he's saying could be obvious), I'm really wondering if there's something more going on. He could just know these things because he's been here the longest

but uhh crack theory time Kinger was the creator of the digital circus who got trapped in it and went insane /SILLY /JOKING

I am STRUGGLING to convey through text what Rite Here Rite Now has done to my mental state. ITS SO GOOD WHAT THE HELL

MASSIVE spoilers under the cut so be warned‼️

Its so funny and the production quality is absolutwly through the ROOF and the character development and story progression amd the THEMES????? i didnt realize it while watching the movie but its actually pretty deep with its themes and messages. This silly concert movie has something genuinely profound to say about life and living in the moment through both the good and the bad and remembering who and what came before you and the impact of music on our lives.

Also i'm so glad that Copia didn't get killed off like many of us probably thought he would (myself included). Not just because i love him and he's my favorite papa, but because of the fact that it reinforces the message of living life through all the bad moments because the good moments are what bring us together and make life so beautiful, even though they only last for a short while.

The fact that Copia keeps on living in spite of the hardships he's faced fills me with so much hope. After everything he's been through; bad relationships with his parents, being shunned from the Emeritus family, pressure from The Clergy, the loss of all of his brothers, all the work he put in to please the ministry and entertain millions of fans across the globe, seeing his own mother die in front of him, he keeps going.

He's now been annointed to a new position: head of The Clergy. He probably never thought he'd come this far, yet here he is. He's all alone. Everyone is gone but him (well except for his twin brother i guess). But despite it all, he's still here. He may have given up the limelight but he still continues to serve a purpose through his new position as Frater Imperator. He's finally learned to live life in the moment, right here, right now.

But good lord let this man take a break he's been through enough lmao. I didn't expect that last segment to get so long but it literally just hit me how fantastic the plot of this movie is as im writing this. RHRN is like 90% concert movie and 10% story and the story is undoubtably my favorite part of the movie. But i really love the concert stuff too. Like i said, the production quality is INSANE i am going to listen to the soundtrack so obsessively when it comes out! And seeing the crowd having such a good time was really heartwarming too. There's genuinely so much to talk about with RHRN and its a fucking concert movie. Tobias once again proving that he is a creative genius.

Uhh anyway sorry this was so rambly and poorly structured but i really just need to get my thoughts out there because seeing this movie finally come into existince has been such a surreal and wonderful experience and i love this band even more now. My ghost brainrot is severe and i will be making it everyone's problem

(uhhh I didn't think this would happen with this question but SPOILERS FOR UP TO CHAPTER 46 OF FFTSR)

To be honest, the ony dynamic that I put a real degree of thought into is the Akechi & Robin & Loki dynamic- I wanted neither persona to be entirely good or rational, or one side representative of 'being evil' or whatever. Akechi's problem, is that his thoughts, feelings, and ideas so often contradict eachother, and he is entirely unable to reconcile that. So even when Robin and Loki do agree, Akechi is more likely to ignore them than take thier advice.

Of course, just because I didn't put too much thought into it doesn't mean I'm pulling all the other dynamics out of my ass lmao:

Sumire takes second place for "Persona who talks the most"- Ella, for the most part, is a supportive force that also isn't afraid to call Sumire on her bullshit. Whether or not Sumi listens is another matter entirely. This sort of stems from how Sumire's third awakening is her final resolve to stand on her own, to reject Maruki's reality despite all it could give her, to be unapolagetically Sumire for the rest of her life- So her persona is a force to remind her of that vow, when she starts slipping into her anxieties and her tendency for avoidance.

Haru doesn't get a lot of POV scenes, but her awakening was very fun for me to write. Since I've taken Haru in a direction that is distinctly angry, I wanted Milady's words to reflect that anger at her circumstances, and the need to break from it.

Ren doesn't chat with Arsene often enough for me to remember much of what he says HAHA- he doesn't have the same influence on Ren's character the same way that Akechi and Sumire's persona's do. When he does talk, however, it's usually to quip or be a smartass- a trait which I've quietly yoinked from how people tend to characterise Arsene/Shadow Ren- as, simply, the essence of Joker.

And, now that Ren has also resolved the whole Crow situation, his dynamic with Metatron is pretty much that Metatron is a forceful reminder of the kind of thinking that got Ren to make poor descisions in the first place. Metatron often speaks up any time that Ren tries to justify taking Maruki's deal, spoken with all the snark and fury of the real Akechi.

Most of the PT haven't had POV scenes, but Futaba and Makoto certainly have!

For Futaba, any time Necronomicon speaks up is usually when Futaba is trying to avoid something. Stemming from her awakening, Futaba's vow to never allow lies to decieve her again is reflected in her persona, and especially when she tries to decieve herself.

For Makoto- I actually can't remember if Johanna has spoken in a previous chapter, or if she's going to speak in an upcoming one, but Johanna's shtick also stems from Makoto's awakening. Makoto's vow was to not be trampled by authority, to ensure that she can be herself even in a society that aims to push her in a box. Johanna will speak up if Makoto is becoming complacent, if she tries to take the easy way out.

Uhh that's pretty much it! For the other PT's personas, I would similarly draw from their awakenings to decide what I would want them to say. For the most part, though, everyone's personas start getting chatty when their wielders aren't being true to themselves.

FUCK I FORGOt about Maruki. HAHA I wrote Azathoth as being a cryptic peice of shit, mostly. That kind of 'cult leader talk' is the kind of shit he pulls in canon, and I saw no reason to change that.

Shadow Maruki, on the other hand, is a more true reflection of the man himself- an echo of who he was in the original timeline. Shadows and personas are two sides of the same coin, but how they present themselves does vary. They're archetypes, rather than a 1:1 of their wielder's personality.

okok so i wrote like an essay of predictions and what i thinks gonna happen next on in the notes app on on my phone bc i was camping when i finished reading it so i had no service and couldn't go online and tell people my thoughts 😭😭

uhh im gonna put my main points (spoiler warning ofc also this is gonna get really long)

i think eves whole kidnapping thing is bc of eve (obviously bc like slate is working with her) but because eve wants gray's attention

i cant remember if she knows about lyra or not but still

i just think this because i dont think she would really want anything to do with gigi, just using her bc gray

basically my main point is i think the main plot glorious rivals is going to be about finding gigi (i hope im right and she doesnt get dropped of at home in like chapter three or these will all be incorrect)

when gray finds out what happened to gigi he will flip out. obviously savannah will too probably moreso bc like thats her twin but gray is very protective of them both so he'll freak out like crazy

especially once they inevitably put the peices together and realies why kidnapped her, he'll probably want to kill eve (i'd say not actually but i wouldn't be surprised if he genuinely did. i do so like)

i think that both grayson and savannah will like actually refuse to participate further in the grandest game until they find out what happened to her

and obviously avery and the others arent apathetic so theyre gonna understand and its either gonna be cancelled/postponed

and when they do pause/end the game, they arent gonna tell people why cause that'd cause more drama

omg also im forgetting her name but gigi and savannah;s mom. i feel like she's either gonna be a really big character in the next book or not in it at all, i dont think theres really gonna be an in between.

also xander was really starting to grow a friendship with gigi, so he'd be concerned too.

hello!! its been a while since ive posted but here i am!!! so this game is Dead Plate created by STUDIO INVESTIGRAVE

i had played one of their games before, Elevator Hitch, and i really really enjoyed it! so im very excited for this new game that theyve released

though, this game is probably really different from Elevator Hitch, because that game was a visual novel type of game while this one has restaurant tycoon gameplay

still, im very excited

i hope i can get all the endings today (but probably not) as always, spoilers under the cut!

i know its literally just the title screen BUT it looks very classy

also the music? its a bop like yo BellKalengar is the composer and sound designer and like yo!! amazing job its literally just the title screen and im amazed already LMFAO

i FINALLY finished my Azure Moon playthrough of fire emblem three houses YAYY (I’ve played it before but i decided to play the route again when i got back into the game since like September)

As for the paired endings,,me and my sister were aiming so much to get Sylvain and Mercedes together but sobs,,,Sylvain ended up alone (AGAIN. He was on his own on my first playthrough as well) and Mercedes ended up with Ashe,,SOBS Sylvain n Mercedes was like our number one we wanted to end up together,,ALTHOUGH we did get more paired endings we wanted so!! Thats good at least HJGDSH

Althouhg, majority of the ones that ended up on their own was the staff (minus Seteth)! Sylvain, Raphael and Constance ended up being the only other ones on their own, everyone else managed to get paired up with someone! Although not sure how some ended up together HGFHS very interesting,,i thought like if they had each other as their closest friend then they’d end up together but,,no SOBS

i do wish Seteth and Catherine ended up together though bc their ending is so cute to me, at least for Seteth HGHSDG, what do you mean seteth wrote love letters to her, HELLO? THATS SO CUTE? “Over the years, as Seteth worked to rebuild the church from the monastery, he continued to write love letters to Catherine. When the rebuilding effort was complete, he journeyed to the Red Canyon, where she and Rhea had been living, and delivered all of his letters by hand.” Ty for the idea for Florian (my other fe3h oc) hehe. Uhm 2. (Sorry helps me focus) uhh so! They change with the lighting right. What if it was day out but say it was super cloudy out would they switch back and forth walking? Ngl would be funny to imagine just switching back and forth between eachother because of how cloudy it is and how much the clouds would block the sun every so often.

3 sooo no spoilers or anything i don't wanna stress you if it's an issue but the pryncess was sick for a while and your last chapter makes it a very hm uhm unexpected but expected cliffhanger. Would sun and moon be able to detect anything different in mannerisms of hers or because it was so long and she's human they assume it's just a normal human thing?. Or would they be able to like sense somethings up with them some kinda robo sense?.
