Bad news my brain has decided that my favorite characters are not in fact any of the likeable protagonists but rather the godawful team of arsonists, mad scientists, and murderguys

Ruy’s all sketchy because of the device thing he wears that obscures the face, I could not be bothered to draw a net over Vespera’s hair so I changed it, and I know gethen’s meant to be Very blonde so let’s just say it’s like that cuz of uh. Bad hair care

Also I’m pretty sure Trix also keeps his identity hidden via cloak but I don’t care give that man some funky wind effects

I personally don't have instagram, so talking to someone who does might be a little more helpful, but here's what I know:

Shannon Messenger posted on her account that there's a kotlc graphic novel that will cover half of the first book.

It's available for pre-order.

The main illustrator that it is credited is Gabriella Chianello, and the main author who's adapting the writing for the graphic novel is Celina Frenn.

Well I can do it late if I need to, I just change the deadline. I tend not to do it early though

Uhh, so, I'm one of tam cam's parents and what happened was basically:

@sasharcyreal (maddie) posted a kotlc book snippet with tam being his iconic self

i made a The Office joke about looking into cameras from that

She makes a post about Tam looking into the camera throughout the series

@myfairkatiecat joins us in brainstorming scenes in which tam is there staring, is the first to propose omniscient tam cam (? I can't remember if it was her or @swans-chirping-in-the-distance)

Maddie draws the meme

Katie and I spam post memes about the different tam camnable momments

Someone makes an accounts to collect the memes

everyone goes crazy trying to find out who it is (I am the first one to be accused, by both Katie and Aspen @aspenaspenaspenaspenaspen)

Katie figures out who it is and strikes a deal with tam cam (no one knows exactly how she's involved tho)

there are multiple adjancents accounts (@tam-cam-detective @another-tam-cam-detective @tam-cam-drama @tam-can-drama @tam-cam-stories)

i’m crying i’m having an extremely hard time imagining alden and fitz in my mind i’m gonna kms if i don’t figure this out

sometimes I think about how little Sophie and Fitz actually know about each other

and I'm like... ur telling me these two have a deep congnate bond?? built upon trust and knowing the other person like that back of your hand? and yet the biggest secret keeping them from reaching maximum potential is... the fact that she had a crush on him?

It's giving lackluster. like lmaooooo

they know each other 'so well' and have talked for hours at a time, sharing secrets and opinions, but for some reason didn't know that their relationship was going to crash and burn over matchmaking?? like what shallow ass things were they talking about in all of their training sessions then?? favorite colors?

you would think that after years of being congnates with someone, you'd figure out whether or not you were really romantically compatible but uhh... I guess not??

I feel like what we know about Fitz is so horrendously vague in the books, considering how close they're said to be. Like is there a distinct thing we know really well about Fitz's childhood the way we do with Keefe?

I just feel like the books harp on how close Fitz and Sophie are, but in execution, it reads like they don't really know each other that well at all. And it's extremely prevalent in their lack of understanding of each other's side when it comes to matchmaking. They've been in each other's heads, sharing everything besides Sophie's big 'OH NO I LIKE YOU!!" secret... but they didn't realize how wildly different they viewed almost... everything?? bsfr

(I have big gripes with the books in general in the way they tell and don't show a lot, which makes dynamics come off more shallow and less developed too. which is very much how the cognate bond comes off.)

idek if this is coherent I am so exhausted.

i wanna write a new kotlc fanfic for an AU I've had in my head for the longest time ever

but i need a title.

I'll reveal the plot stuff in a different post, but basically its a Music Tour AU, where Sophie & Biana (aka some popstar duo i have yet to name) do like a mashup tour with Fitz, Keefe, and Dex (lil funny boyband lol) + Tam was the tired coffee addict manager for them (Linh and Marella are also in the story but come in later). And uhh stuff happens.

Anywho uh yeah I need a title and I want it to be a song but arghhhh i cant find one with works well

These are horrible. They absolutely suck. I couldn't access a ruler and, well, I have the messiest handwriting known to humankind. And any other existing being. I'll probably redo them sometimes, neater since I rushed all of these.

Also, the lighting when I took the pictures were horrible. Had to do everything on paper because technology was being mean >:0

lemme include a mini explanation about some of this :)

everglen has the vibes of three floors.

the kitchen is totally close to the door

so whenever biana is cooking in the kitchen the front door is close by, just in case. (my hc: she's a horrible baker. idk if that's canon or not)

biana and fitz's room are down the hall from each other- they can run down to the other's room in, like, 5 seconds because... sibling antics :D

there was some super random stuff i included. doesn't relate to everglen at all. (for example: 'mr arson x bronte' and some keefitz stuff)

i had a choice to be productive and FINALLY bake like i've been nagging myself to for the past few weeks or do random kotlc shit.

you can tell which option i chose.

everglen has TOO MANY BATHROOMS. plus, like, 3 guest rooms.

mysterious locked rooms. three of them. i'm GOING to find a purpose for them in my fanfic (keefitz ;D)

and i know little to nothing about architecture (how tf do you spell that-) so these floor plans would NEVER WORK

i also included like, the outsideness

lake, forest, alvar's flat thing he stayed in during..flashback was it?? i think i need to reread the series-

if fitz is up on the roof, his parents literally cannot get him down. he WILL stay up there till he wants to. he levitates up/down :)

keefe keeps almost breaking bones bc he is not the greatest at levitating

that's why he has fitz :)

Ok ok so I was thinking…this all depends on how far this fixation goes but um I was thinking because I have two Kotlc aus in my head one is analog horror and the other ones super hero au. I was thinking maybe making a multi chapter fic of the super hero au…and draw art for the Analog Horror au and maybe do an ask me thing were people could interact with the characters :3 but uhh we’ll see how it goes :3 no promises

tbt that time i created the official tam/fitz page on the kotlc wiki and for their ship name i put titz and back then i didnt realize that like. haha tits or anything. and then an admin had to edit the page like “uhh lets not say that ship name anymore” and i got SO confused bc. why?
