the of rings of power s2 finale was such a weird mixture of let down and unnecessary scenes (and after i thought the 2x7 was going somewhere with more potential in the pacing and writing, noooo, it went downhill again),

but i can't stop laughing because the ending had such a similar scene as was in dragon age inquisition, yet it could never reach that same depth like dai.

the obvious:

like if you take it plot wise... in dai they're preparing to take down corypheus. they're even announcing that to the people gathered there, a promise to them. they have a new base and plans. plus right after this part there's a montage of everyone doing whatever necessary within their skills.

in trop.. why are they even posing like that? what does it accomplish? (they were asking galadriel what to do... not gil galad, the high elven king, but her.. whyy) oh no sauron has all too much power again. we must.. stand on this hill and hold a sword really high. and cut, the end.

i had a post like that in my drafts for over two years from season 1 similarities with dragon age, basically just the dwarven places.. hmm. i just can't unsee it.
