I dressed up for class and later found out we would only have one class

So. Last night I happened to be reading an online site that will remain nameless and saw this article about ranking Bridgerton spouses and it’s clickbait I know better but did anyway.

And I mean first of all it’s clear Season 4 propping cause Sophie was at #1 and I mean better than Kate? I read the books. No.

But Pen was third and I mean if that’s how you feel that’s how you feel and that’s fine.

What bothered me is the reason why Pen was third. And they wrote : “While Penelope still uses Lady Whistledown to express herself in the show, she also uses her column to get back at other women out of jealousy.”

And like. Rage. I feel actual rage at this. She absolutely does not and it is a hill I will die on. If you want more of an explanation please go read my meta where I’ve now documented it at length. I just… what a reductive and narrow lens to understand the character. I can’t even.
