"This is VK all over again which means..."
I don't agree with that. With Val there was real passion, desire, lust and *gasp* love and commitment. Something like that you can rekindle which we've seen for almost a decade. A situationship which at best times was never more than lukewarm, you can't. Once the appeal that attracted has worn off. It's done. I think Thinster just got her place in the ranks of NR, AK, Lola etc. Forever hung up on him and times long past. Good enough to drool over him in the VIP section at shows and every once in the blue moon graced with a summons to keep him company when no one else's available. Doubt there was any hot and steamy lovemaking happening, where the two fucked their brains out all night. If for whatever reason, he was super horny and craved a different touch than that of his own hand. GTGT was lucky enough to suck him off in a restroom stall in whatever etablissement they ended up in. He came after 2 minutes, zipped his 🍆 back in and sauntered off to his seat like nothing happened. While she was left to scramble back up on her feet and wash her mouth out at the sink. And maybe just maybe for a split second there, she realized she got played by him once again. More than likely she's so emotionally bamboozled in her googly-eyed love haze, she just agreed to be his entourage at a couple of tour dates and let's him show-pony her at the Brooklyn gig to all of our delight. He more than likely planted his ass on the couch or bed after being tucked in by Nana, one hand down his PJs scratching his balls while the other cradled a bucket of popcorn watching UFC and at 9pm sharp La Principessa laid his head on his buckwheat pillow for 8h of sleep while blissfully dreaming of sold-out arenas. That outing is not the great rekindling of their situationship and renaissance of #Jeauty some make it out to be. That's not love or caring for each other, it's transactional.
Good lord...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That was a wild ride! 😂🙌
And now I´m depressed for all involved... 😭

WWE release several Superstars:
Tumblr media
After completing a merger with UFC under TKO Group Holdings, WWE mass layoffs have begun. The layoffs began just days after the merger, with dozens of office emplyees and now on-screen talent is being let go. The merger, however, also brought some grim news for many employees as it resulted in mass layoffs only days after. Dozens of employees were released in the divisions which were considered redundant after the two companies merged together.
However the layoffs didn't stop with office employees only. As expected, the promotion has begun laying off some of the on-screen talents as well. Interestingly, the roster cuts come the same day as the announcement of a new TV rights deal for WWE, which will see Smackdown move to the USA Network.
The list of released talent (so far) are as followed:
Mustafa Ali
Rick Boogs
Aliyah
Elias
Riddick Moss
Top Dolla
Shelton Benjamin
Emma
Dolph Ziggler

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to "The Clinch" by Nicole Disney
This review was initially posted (on other platforms) on January 16th, 2022
I'm blown away by this book. Sports-related stories aren't my thing, but I picked this one out for a reading challenge, and I'm so pleased I did.
All the magic of classic underdog fighter films (Rocky and The Karate Kid spring to mind) with a powerful lead in UFC featherweight champion Eden Bauer, and a worthy opponent (and so much more!) in Brazilian brawler, Brooklyn Shaw.
The fight scenes are edge-of-your-seat riveting, intimate encounters are scorching hot and the will they/won't they angst is torturous (hardly-a-spoiler: its a romance novel, of course they will).
Other reviewers have said this needs to be a movie, and while I appreciate the sentiment and I'd love to see this story played out, I think we'd lose too much of Eden's inner thoughts in the process. Instead, as many as readers as possible need to pick this book up, red it, love it and tell a friend!
Guaranteed a spot on my end-of-2022 favourite reads list, I can't recommend this one highly enough.

Conor McGregor warns Ryan Garcia to get his head right: ‘I’m going to smash it in with elbows if you don’t’
Conor McGregor issued a warning to Ryan Garcia. The UFC star, like most of the combat sports world, found out earlier this week that Garcia tested positive for banned substances stemming from his upset win over Devin Haney on April 20 in Brooklyn. As McGregor often does, he went on Twitter to give a detailed response to one of the week’s biggest stories — and also lumped in current UFC…

name: sage brooklyn harlow age: 34 height: 6′6 species: half human, half-fae hair/eye color: black / charcoal occupation: sex shop owner.
sage in her earlier years had a lot of pent-up aggression from childhood trauma and so she turned to underground fighting. it wasn’t always good, she’d get beat up and lose but she became resilient. and she got picked up by a retired boxer who had taught her how to reign in the anger that often drove her in fights when she’d be taunted. somewhere along the line, she was scouted to fight in the ufc and while she did pretty well with national matches, there was something about being all over the place that didn’t sit well with her. and her last match, which she one was also one that could’ve ended her career if she hadn’t been quick on her feet.
so after that last match, she eneded up going back home to brooklyn, new york to work at a sex shop that her bestfriend owned and ended up buying the shop from her, but they both co-own it. and she rather likes the atmosphere because it’s never boring, but it’s normal enough that she doesn’t have to worry about much other than making sales.

“No, he’s the one who should be embarrassed, Brooklyn. Didn’t even have the balls to step to me first.” Jason shook his head. “Yooo, don’t get used to it.”  He warned, having known the thrill she was talking about all too well. It was an addiction, an insatiable itch he never could seem to scratch since his days in the UFC were stolen from him. And it was a thrill burden he wouldn’t wish on anyone else. Whatever lightness he had mustered from before still managed to remain. "I'll let him know. Maybe learn a thing or two while I'm at it."
Jason grabbed the glass from Brooklyn and tipped it towards hers in a silent sort of cheers. “I’m not serious all the time.” He took a sip, a small smirk hovering just above the rim of his glass betraying him as it left his lips. Maybe he was. It was part as his many jobs anyway: bouncer, enforcer, fighter. And with the newfound heat on him it was probably unwise to be anything but. Then again... "Maybe you're right. The snakes are gunna put a bullet in skull anyway, might as well live it up while I can.”
Tumblr media
"I just got bitch slapped by an overweight greasy man, that is embarrassing Jason," she said with a shake of her head. More embarrassing that he saw it than anything. A smile spread across her face with a light blush, "Right! That was so thrilling!" Her voice goes up a few octaves with excitement. "I had a good teacher so you'll just have to tell him he's doing a good job."
Brooklyn grabbed the whiskey bottle while he got glasses. She poured two decent-sized drinks before capping the bottle. "You deserve it. Haven't seen you drunk in ages." She pushed his glass to him and took a drink from her own. "You are too tense and serious all the time, try living a little."

Jason didn't have regrets. He didn't regret the day he punched the ref square in the face for a shitty call or the day he was banned from the UFC. He didn't even regret the day all those years ago that he called Brooklyn his. And yet in the moment he let go of her hand to face everything alone, he regretted it, immediately, surrendering to all the memories and feelings that rushed back to him with that one touch.
Brooklyn turned before he could pull her back to him, hold her, and let her know it was all going to be okay. Instead, he just bit his lip and climbed into his bed finally giving in to it all. To hell, with boundaries and all the lines they had drawn.
He didn't say anything, and he didn't leave. He just pulled her close to him, a strong arm wrapping around her torso, silently swearing that he'd be there so as long as she needed him...or until she fell asleep.
Tumblr media
It felt like all her issues melted away in his arms, like she was untouchable from any danger or trauma. Her grip slowly started to loosen as he walked her up, she was starting to met into him as she gave into the comfort and started to calm down
Brooke had been to this apartment many times before so she didn't bother pulling away to look around. His place was a one up to hers which is why she always opted to go to his place when they could. She sat on his bed as he put her down and without thinking she grabbed his hand as he went to move away.
"Can yo-" She cut herself off. She didn't want to ask him to stay, she didn't want to ask more from him or face another possible rejection, but she wanted him to stay, needed him too. She dropped his hand and shook her head as she kicked off her shoes. "Nevermind." She mumbled as she laid down and turned away from him.
