shared moments (dabi)
a handful of shared moments between you and your maybe more than friend, touya todoroki, the flame villain.
Tumblr media
this is a prequel to the first fic i posted, pheonix, but it could be read as a standalone !
wc: 2.8k
reader is not described but is implied to have a quirk that makes them colder. i also imply that they're a nurse who frequently works with burn patients, including dabi's victims.
cw: 18+ ONLY !!! no smut, just kissing, grinding, and shirts come off but it ends pretty quickly after that. dabi accidentally wounds reader (a small burn from trying to wake him from a nightmare), mentions of abuse, murder, dying, and nausea. soft yet emotionally stunted and avoidant dabi
playlist: maybe by flower face, zombie by everglow, voidstar and longlegs by grim salvo
Tumblr media
He’s shaking, head in your lap. You think he might be crying, but his hands are covering his face as he curls up as tight as he can. Dabi didn’t usually spend the night, but on rare occasion you can wrangle him into sleeping a few hours before running off who knows where. Tonight had been fun, daresay cozy, watching bad movies under a blanket so you could use him as a space heater and he could use you as an icepack.
It’s near four in the morning, far past when he usually sneaks out of your tiny apartment, when you awoke to his distress. He’d been squirming on his side of your too-small bed, mumbling and whimpering unconsciously. Even now, you don’t think he’s realized the small burn on your arm from trying to wake him, but you don’t move to soothe it; you’re too busy trying to soothe him. You rub his side over his shirt and pet a hand through his spiky hair even though he’s long since stopped shaking. You pretend you don’t care you have work in a few hours.
Now, he’s completely motionless, arms fallen to the cushion of the mattress. His voice is raspier than normal when he finally speaks, “…Sorry about that.”
“’S okay. I’ve seen worse.”
You both know he’s caused your ‘worse’.
“Do you wanna tell me what’s going on up here?” You tap your fingers softly against his temple. It’s a miracle he hasn’t moved yet.
“Don’t think that’s something you’d wanna hear about.”
“You can tell me anyways,” you can practically hear him go over the notion in his head. You met almost a year and you hardly know anything about the man besides his preferred snacks and the types of movies he likes to make fun of.
He thinks for a bit before stating, “you’ve never asked about my scars.”
You hum in agreement. The healed tissue is naturally textured but worsened from insufficient aftercare. The skin grafts look like they were done by someone with medical experience, at least. “Were you dreaming about when you got them?” The scar tissue on his face always made it look like the flames had tried to take him in its hands; like it wanted to soothe him. Console him. You want to do the same.
“Kinda,” he says after another long pause, like he’s trying to find the words, “maybe more like ‘why’.”
He can’t see you frown at that. You don’t like the implication it carries.
He’s quiet for a long time while you brush through his hair. It’s gotten longer- you think you can see blonde roots peak through the inky black.
“My old man…real shit guy,” he takes in a shaky breath and subtly curls deeper into your lap, “I’m gonna kill him one day.”
(You didn’t think he was serious, then.)
“All he cares about is power. He bought my ma so he could create a child more powerful than him. I’m the oldest of four- and his biggest failure,” you wince at the way he chuckles, “It’s funny. He got what he wanted. My youngest brother is a prodigy. He’s one of the top students at U.A.,” Dabi stops again, like he has to prepare himself for what he’s about to say, “I hated that kid for so long. Tried to kill him when he was a toddler, wanted to prove I was better than him. When I was twelve or thirteen I told dear old dad I got stronger,” another pause “He didn’t care,” another pause, like he’s debating telling you the rest at all, “I burned down half a forest, woke up three years later. The fucker who fixed me up showed me pictures of my funeral and everything. Ma got institutionalized not long after…but I gave myself a new name, since I died that day.”
“What was his name?” You ask impulsively. You wish you could take those words back, stuff them in your mouth and swallow them down
“Who’s?” He looks up.
“The boy who died.”
Dabi looks away again, contemplates before relenting, “Touya. Touya Todoroki”
“Touya sounds like a sweet kid. I hope he’s resting easy.”
It’s like the words flipped a switch in him. He shoots to sit up straight. His eyes are angry. Scared.
“You don’t know shit about him.”
“That’s not the point.”
He gets up, paces the length of the bed a few times, stops, looks at the ground, “You don’t know what you’re talking about. You don’t know shit about me.”
“And whose fault is that?” You really need to learn when to shut your stupid mouth.
He looks up. Sees you fully for the first time since waking. He can see the welt he caused on your arm in his post-nightmare panic. His anger dies. His eyes widen. You reach to slap your hand over it to shield it from view, but he has his jeans on and his jacket and boots in hand before you can find words to say. He’s out the door before you can ask him not to leave.
(You call out of work that day. You won’t hear from him for three weeks.)
Tumblr media
Later that day, the search results for Touya Todoroki hurt as bad as you expected them to. There aren’t many paparazzi pictures of him, only a handful of him with his dad at award ceremonies.
His dad. Pro hero Endeavor.
The news coverage of his son’s death is minimal, and it’s mostly about Endeavor taking a leave of absence from hero duties to grieve with his family, but the obituary is public. The white haired boy in the picture looks so young. It’s not very detailed aside from denoting that his funeral was a private ceremony.
You open a new tab and search for fire related quirk malfunctions or natural disasters from around the same time. Its not hard to narrow down that the forest fire that destroyed Sekoto Peak was Dabi’s doing. The flames had been massive and unnaturally hot, nearly impossible to contain. There was barely anything left besides charred bone fragments from wildlife and the partial jawbone of the only human casualty they could find. The victim is unnamed, but it says the police were able to identify them through dental records and bring closure to the family.
There’s a handful of pictures of Endeavor at the scene. They make your stomach churn.
A third tab. Endeavor. There are news articles about his most recent achievements and a few about his youngest son, Shoto, who recently passed the entrance exams into U.A., just like Dabi said.
You feel nauseous.
Tumblr media
It’s so comfy laying here wrapped around him like a koala. He’s cold and hot at the same time. There’s one hand cradling the back of your head to his chest while the other rubs your back over the blanket he draped over you.
You don’t usually let him in when work gets you like this. He’s usually the cause, being the most prolific fire quirked villain in the country, but you felt like you needed him today. A little boy had come in with his parents after his first quirk manifestation. All you could see was a young Touya Todoroki when you looked at him. Now all you feel is the pain you feel for the real thing who has you cradled in his arms like you’re more than maybe a friend.
Dabi is prickly when it comes to touch- despite the nerve damage, his scars are sensitive- but for you, he makes exceptions, especially since this is his first time seeing you since his meltdown last month. When he woke up in his dingy-ass apartment today, he knew he had to see you, knew something was wrong. His gut was right. You practically collapsed crying in his arms when you opened the door.
You’ve barely said anything since he’s settled the two of you down on your bed. Every time he thinks about saying something, you burrow impossibly closer into his chest like if you try hard enough you can crawl in his ribs and clean out all the ash and soot that make him up.
He wants to apologize for how he left. He wants to tell you he was scared, that he’s still scared, because he’s never let anyone get close the way you have, and he doesn’t know why he yearns for you to be closer. It’s the only time he ever wishes things had gone differently. If he was closer to a normal guy, less of one of the most wanted villains in the country, maybe he’d let himself be happy to be known by you.
But the only thing Dabi can do is destroy. He burns too hot to be anyone’s light.
Dabi is ruthless. He’s a monster, a villain, a killer; there’s nothing that could clean the blood from his hands.
That doesn’t stop him from pretending things are different, even if just for a moment. You’re naturally cooler to the touch and he finds it hard to imagine ever choosing to be anywhere but in your arms. It’s such an unfamiliar feeling.
Dabi’s never had to comfort someone before. He’s never really wanted to, either.
He isn’t one to be soft or kind or comforting. It’s all so confusing. How do you drag this out of him? Why is he so content with this moment? Something about you makes him different. He doesn’t know what to do with that.
He’s scared. He’s angry. He’s unhappy.
You pull yourself away from him completely, scooting to lay on your back on the other side of your bed.
“Sorry,” you mumble, “you can go now. That was probably really uncomfortable for you. You can leave now, if you want.”
Your eyes are so empty. He’s never seen you like this. He doesn’t know what to do. He thinks he wants to stay, make his last visit up to you with more time tonight, but would you rather he go? Should he ask about what upset you? This is so new to him.
He leaves.
Tumblr media
The next time he’s over, you pretend to not notice the tension in the air. You move around in your usual sync, gathering snacks and scrolling through the worst rated movies you can find. You feign obliviousness to the way his eyes linger on you for longer than usual and curl up on the opposite side of the choice from him, like the months of slowly shifting closer to each other didn’t happen.
The jokes are bored and the laughs are empty.
He doesn’t spend the night. You don’t ask him to. He doesn’t know why he feels so hollowed out when he leaves.
A few weeks later, after watching movies and ignoring elephants in rooms, you fall asleep. Dabi waits, lets whatever’s playing continue to run while he watches you breathe in and out at a steady rhythm.
The credits roll. He turns off the T.V. and welcomes the darkness lit only by the city as he gets up to lay you down on your little couch. He’s never done this for you before- he doesn’t know why he’s doing it now. Your eyes flutter open as he kisses your forehead and tucks you into your blanket you keep out here.
(He did it without thinking, like it was natural, a habit. He was a big brother, once. He hadn’t realized that part of him survived.)
You look up at him as he stares down at you, eyebrows furrowed at his surprised expression. His eyes flicker to your lips without his permission. He’s already leaning over you, it’d be so easy to crawl on top of you, kiss you, wherever and however you want.
He doesn’t know what possesses him to do it. Maybe it’s Himiko’s insistence he grow up and take the risk, maybe it’s a moment of weakness where he allows himself to forget who and what he is, but he’s pressing a soft kiss to your lips without realizing. The contact makes your head jerk back, eyes wide in shock, surprise, wonder. You look at him like there’s something worthy of being looked at. His mouth moves to apologize, but you’re shooting your hands to hold his scarred cheeks and pressing you lips to his before he can try. Your skin is so cold against his had surprised at the lack of steam. He thinks you’re the prettiest thing he’s ever seen.
He doesn’t reciprocate in his shock. His response is even further delayed by the fact that he’s never done this before. He feels like a teenager- or what he imagines what being a teenager under more normal circumstances would allow him. As you move to pull away, afraid you’ve somehow overstepped, Dabi is snapped out of his shock, and he’s pulling you back in. His kiss is messy, wet, spit slick as his tongue licks into your mouth with no hesitation. The taste of his urgency is unexpected but he feels so incredible you can hardly stand it. You revel in the way his dull nails bite into your skin when you whimper at the sensation.
His hands are heavy as they make their way down your body, nearly pushing like he needs a constant reminder that this is real. Before you know it, he’s on the couch, on top of you, pushing at your shirt and you’re pulling it over your head in compliance. Dabi takes the moment to yank off his own; his torso is a marble of normal and scarred skin with a shiny barbell through each nipple. You wonder briefly if the metal is hot like the rest of his skin as his lips crash back into yours. One hand in your hair, the other on your waist- he’s pushing you down, pulling you in, until he's all but crushing you in his desperation.
You moan when he lets up, “Dabi-“
“No, no- don’t call me that. I don’t want to feel like a villain with you,” he’s equally breathless, practically heaving above you.
“…Touya?”
Your uncertainty is immediately discarded when he fully moans at the sound of his given name on your lips, “yes, yes, thank you-“ and he’s kissing you again, cradling your face like you’re porcelain but grinding down like you’re the farthest thing from fragile.
His grip tightens when the pressure of his hips makes you moan.
The weight of his body makes you dizzy. His lips and hands move down your neck, licking, biting, and sucking at all the skin newly exposed to him and it feels so good you don’t now what to do with yourself. You decide on shoving your hands in his hair; you’re pulling it at the root when he bites down next, and he’s moaning into your throat like it might kill him to be quiet.
What does he want from me? The question crashes through your brain like a bullet. You don’t know if you want to actually ask. Would it be so bad to let this happen, just to have him close like this? Is the burden of wanting from afar easier to carry than having him halfway? Yes. Of course it is.
Your sudden unresponsiveness stills him. He pulls away to find your eyes distant and face neutral.
“Touya?” You ask after a silent minute filled with his thumbs rubbing circles in your waist, “what did that mean? To you, for us?”
He gulps, “I don’t know.”
He hadn’t thought this far ahead. He hadn’t thought at all.
“You don’t know,” you echo.
He’s off you before you can decide what to make of his answer.
“Sorry, don’t know why I did that- sorry,” you think you hear as he fumbles around for his coat and his boots. You don’t say anything. You don’t even look at him. Instead, you focus on the ceiling it’s almost too dark to see. You think you hear him pause at your door, but your head is so loud and intelligible you aren’t paying attention.
The static doesn’t block out the sound of your front door shutting, though.
(Neither of you realize he left his shirt behind until after he’s already out the door. You pretend you resist the urge to cuddle it to catch his scent on it, and he will pretend he doesn’t imagine you doing just that.)
Tumblr media
Ever the coward, Touya runs. He throws up his shame once he’s in his own apartment. He knows he shouldn’t have left. He didn’t want to- but he didn’t know how to stay either.
He hates himself more than he has in a long time for tonight.
His burner buzzes in his pocket. It’s Shigaraki. plans in motion.
He doesn’t think you’ll forgive him for doing this, but it’s been building since before he met you. It’s not like he has any sort of life or future to look forward to anyways. It’s not like he gives you much to miss anyways.
Soon. Endeavor’s head. Soon.

When Heroes need protecting who will be there to protect them?
As I was re-reading chapter 429 this sentence ‘When Heroes need protecting who will be there to protect them?’ came up again and, like usual, it never failed to annoy me.
It’s of course a personal reaction and you might disagree, you might love it, but if it’s okay, I’d like to discuss a bit of why this sentence never fails to irk me for how redundant it feels. If you love it instead, feel free to skip this post.
Now, if I'm not wrong the manga started making this question around the end of the Paranormal Liberation War arc. Yes, it started making it in a time in which story also wonder what is a Hero, if it’s someone to whom people look up and count on or someone who suffers in silence.
Now… the whole ‘suffer in silence’ is tied to the Japanese idea that enduring is an heroic virtue, which is why it gets tossed into the discussion. Shouto is the family Hero because, according to Rei, he is the one who suffered the most among the Todorokis yet he endured it, he didn’t hate her (or Enji) and even called her ‘mom’, and now he’s making friends at U.A. high and saving his other family members.
No one else in the family could endure abuse like Shouto, Rei snapped, Enji fell prey to rage, Touya became a Villain, Natsuo hates his father as for Fuyumi… actually I would say she endured too but I guess Rei believed she didn’t suffer enough so she’s no hero.
Now that we got out of the way this Japanese concept, let’s go back to the original question. Who helps Heroes when they need protecting?
Let’s pick the most famous Hero ever, All Might.
Who helps him?
Let’s make a list.
We’ve Gran Torino, who not only fight at his side but is always willing to hear him out and to support him.
We’ve his sidekick, Nighteye, who not only helped him with paperwork but also wanted to protect him. Even when they parted ways because Nighteye disagreed with All Might, he continued to look out for him and it’s just All Might who avoided him.
We’ve the police, Tsukauchi is his best friend, he also does paperwork for him, supports him, sits next to him when he’s in hospital.
We’ve the people at U.A. high, Nezu offers him a job, suggests him to search for a heir among his students, Recovery Girl heals him and counsel him on the best way to train Midoriya. When he’ll make friend with Eraser Head the latter will also sit next to him, hear him out, support him.
We’ve other Heroes, during his first battle against AFO even Enji came to help All Might and tried to encourage him his own horrid way.
We’ve his protégée, Midoriya, who gets himself into deadly matches to save him, who, once he hears his fate might be to die horribly, wants to change said fate.
We've his students, it's Bakugou who will rush to save him when he fights AFO a second time.
We’ve the people he inspired, like Star and Stripe who challenges her own government to support him.
We've David Shield, who's willing to commit crimes to help him when he learns he's losing his strength.
We've Melissa Shield who creates for him the suit he used to fight AFO.
All Might often decides to suffer in silence but he’s surrounded by people wanting to help him. He doesn’t have to suffer in silence, they’re all around him, willing to help.
What about a less beloved hero like Endeavor?
He has his family who, despite having been abused by him, after Touya’s revelation still decides to support him.
We have his sidekicks who thinks the fact he worked hard as a Hero matters more than the fact he abused his family.
We’ve the other Heroes, like Hawks and Best Jeanist who decide to side with him and cooperate with him.
We’ve his driver, Kurumada-san, who remains loyal to him.
We've his interns, Midoriya will defend him when Touya will reveal the truth.
Actually, even if we see little of them, he'll still have some fans who will still support him.
What about a Hero in training?
We see many of them have their own families to support them, Midoriya has Inko, Ochako has her parents.
They’ve their homeroom teacher, Eraser Head is always there to help them.
They’ve the Heroes they interned under, who’re there to support them (see Best Jeanist with Bakugou, Gran Torino with Midoriya, Nighteye with Togata, Fat Gum with Amajiki).
They’ve the rest of their class, as class A always support its members and class B seems to be the same.
They’ve the people they helped, Kouta and the giant woman were fast to support Midoriya.
They’ve other Heroes, who’re willing to help them.
Asui also seem to have a friend from middle school willing to support her.
The police also protected and supported them, when Shouto, Iida and Midoriya got themselves in trouble in Hosu the chief of the police went to them and protected them.
Long story short, for Heroes and Heroes in training there’s a huge support network.
Hell even someone who's just a student at U.A. high like Shinsou, who’s not in the Hero course gets helped out to reach the Hero course and is supported by his classmates.
And if they can’t really stand the situation… well, Heroes can decide to drop the job. They aren’t forced to remain in it. They're paid a lot of money and, if they saved said money, they can just quit without problems, possibly without even needing to rush to find another job to support themselves.
Ultimately, in this manga, Heroes deciding to suffer in silence on their own isn’t something they’re forced to do, but their own choice, a choice that’s often thwarted by the people who care about them, as they're there to support them.
Honestly, the only Hero I can remember was left to suffer alone was Lady Nagant, and that’s because what she was doing wasn’t Heroic and so she couldn’t talk about it… and possibly she was kept isolated for that same reason by the Hero commission and denied the possibility to opt out.
All the other Heroes are shown to have a strong support network or the option to sign out.
Wondering who’ll save them when they DECIDE to bottle up their misery (as they’ve the option to share it) feels like a redundant question, not something I’ve to worry about because the story made beyond clear there’s plenty of people willing to save them.
For me, a more poignant question would have been ‘who’ll save Twice once he’s kicked out of his job?’
Not his family, not his colleagues, not the police, not the Heroes, not his boss. He was supposed to endure in silence the life of the homeless on his own.
‘Who’ll save Himiko when she can’t bear it any longer?’
Not her family, not her classmates, not the police, not the Heroes, not her teacher, not her crush. She was supposed to endure in silence the fact she had different urges from the rest of the people and kept it hidden.
‘Who’ll save Touya when he’s breaking?’
Not his family, not his Hero father, not the police, not his classmates, not his teacher. He was supposed to endure in silence how no one cared about him and his dreams.
‘Who’ll save Spinner when he’s targeted by racism?’
No one. He was just expected to endure in silence closed in his own room as the people in his city didn’t want him to get out of it.
‘Who’ll save Tenko when his father is abusing him? When he’s wandering through the city?’
Tenko’s family made an half backed and way too late effort to save him from Kotarou’s abuse, but for the most part Tenko was expected to endure. After they died he had no one and was expected to endure being homeless at five.
In short what I wanted the manga to ask me was:
‘When abused people need protecting, who will be there to protect them?’
For basically 429 chapters, Heroes focus on Villains, they wouldn’t protect someone who’s miserable for reasons that aren’t Villain related. They aren’t meant to save abused people unless they’re threatened by a Villain. It’s not their job and they don't wonder about it.
There’s no support network for people who’re abused, suffering in silence for them is not an option, it’s what they’re forced to do because no one cares. They can’t ‘opt out’ of that life, it’s all they have, they’re trapped.
So in the end they break, become the perfect targets for Villains like AFO, or decide to attack society as they start to see it as an enemy and turn into Villains… and ironically this gives them a support group in form of other Villains.
And once they’re Villains… all that Hero wants to do with them is to put them in jail.
Yes, in the very last chapters we see some kids are kind of changing the game.
Uraraka (who’s implied to be a special case) wanted to give Himiko her blood after she had put her in jail, and Midoriya (another special case) went to see Spinner to tell him Tomura’s last words and let him rage and mourn but that was it.
In the end the story doesn’t really address what to do with people once they turn Villains because they broke.
We’ve Uraraka making a support group for little kids in form of the Quirk counseling program and Shouji making a support group for Heteromorphs in form of him solving conflict peacefully, and it kind of implied that Midoriya’s example would turn common people into nice people that would now support each other… but the focus is on helping people BEFORE they’ll turn into Villains. The story never truly address a way to help Villains to turn back into decent people after jailing them.
The story specifically mention Tartarus as a place where human rights are violated which fits with how Japanese prisons are in real life. Amnesty International has documented cases where prisoners in Japan suffered from systematic cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment and are at high risk of being subjected to abusive forms of punishment like having been beaten severely by prison guards for minor infractions of prison rules, detained in solitary confinement for long periods, restrained in leather belts and handcuffs, and held in special cells as a punishment.
Horikoshi tossed this in his own story like a fact… but then never addressed it further than that, actually he even had Lady Nagant prefer remaining in jail.
That’s why Tomura, Touya and Himiko had to die in the story, because in the end their other option was to be tossed in a jail and have their human right violated until they would be executed.
There would be no salvation for them anyway, it was too late, all the support groups Class A kids created are for people who hasn’t yet turned into a Villain, not for Villains who could be redeemed.
I find kind of sad that I’m asked more than once to worry about who’ll support Heroes when it’s clear they’ve a large support group in the story, but I’m not asked to worry about who didn’t have a support group, about who was left on his own, and that saving them was tackled only in the last chapters, mostly in a fairytalesque way and that it still didn’t regard whose who weren’t saved prior to turn Villains.
It’s possible it’s, of course, just me… but I really needed to give voice to those feelings. Feel free to disagree and please, forgive me if I’ve bored you.

The Class 1-A Support Group: Fuck Endeavor Edition
The sun was setting over U.A. High School, casting long shadows across the classroom where Class 1-A had gathered for their usual study session. However, today’s topic was anything but ordinary. The recent broadcast from Touya Todoroki had left everyone in a state of disbelief and anger, and the students were ready to vent.
“Can you believe Endeavor?” Mineta piped up, his usual bravado replaced by genuine disgust. “I know I'm not free of sin, but damn, Endeavor is… y'know, just the worst!”
“Mineta’s right,” Iida said, adjusting his glasses with a serious expression. “Todoroki, I used to have respect for Endeavor, but now he repulses me. I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Except for him, of course.”
“Thanks, Iida,” Shoto replied, his voice flat but with a hint of appreciation.
“It’s clear that Endeavor only changed because his actions came back to him,” Sero added, crossing his arms. His tone was matter-of-fact, but the anger simmering beneath was palpable.
Bakugou, who had been unusually quiet, made a face that was hard to read.
“Tch, if I was law enforcement, I’d tell Shigaraki that his new name is Frida Goman, and Endeavor is no longer Frida Goman,” Kaminari chimed in, trying to lighten the mood.
“Facts, brother!” Kirishima agreed, nodding vigorously.
“How can people say the villains are too far gone and at the same time say that Endeavor is not?” Tokoyami pondered aloud, his dark feathers ruffling slightly.
“Because he’s a hero,” Jirou replied, rolling her eyes. “Man, the world’s so unfair.”
Deku, ever the optimist, chimed in, “You’d expect at least some of the corruption to be solved by the end of the series…”
“Ah- No need to break the fourth wall now, Midoriya!” Iida interjected, a hint of exasperation in his voice.
“I know this sounds weird, but I totally understand why Dabi became a villain!” Kirishima said, his voice filled with empathy.
“Freal!” Kaminari agreed, leaning forward in his seat.
Tsuyu added, “You could’ve ended up like your brother, Todoroki. Ribbit.”
Yaoyorozu nodded thoughtfully. “Shoto… our class has gone through so much that we should all be in therapy, but you especially, because of the abuse and instability in your childhood.”
“If I was Endeavor’s doctor, I would’ve done some… secret mad doctor operations on him, actually,” Kaminari said with a laugh, but there was a dark undertone to his words.
“Haha!” Jirou chuckled, but her laughter faded as she continued. “You’re supposed to be a hero!”
“Isn’t that justice though?” Kaminari replied, a smirk on his face.
“I can’t imagine if that had been my mother he did all those things to… Oh, I would’ve- UGH!” Kaminari exclaimed, his frustration boiling over.
“Honestly, I think I would’ve offed him in his sleep,” Jirou said, her expression fierce.
“Yeah,” Kaminari replied, nodding in agreement.
“If I was Todoroki, I wouldn’t have like fifty pictures of Endeavor that I throw knives at! But then I wouldn’t have fifty pictures of him because they’d be all knifed up,” Jirou said, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Literally!” Kaminari added, his enthusiasm infectious.
“Actually, even though I’m not him, I’m STILL GONNA DO THAT!” Jirou declared, pumping her fist in the air.
“YEAHHHHHH!” Kaminari cheered, the energy in the room shifting to something more lighthearted.
“I must admit, I really only see him as a villain. But that feels like an insult to the villains, because most villains don’t cross… that line,” Tokoyami said, his voice low and serious.
Shoji scoffed, knowing exactly what ‘that line’ meant.
“I’m so forgiving man, like I can forgive anyone, but God, I just can’t bring myself to forgive him!” Kirishima said, his voice filled with frustration.
“I feel the exact same!” Kaminari agreed, the group nodding in solidarity.
As the discussion continued, the students of Class 1-A found strength in their shared feelings, united in their disdain for Endeavor and their support for Shoto. They might not have all the answers, but together, they could face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Being an expiring hero at the most prestigious hero academy has its perks, it’s the most guarded school, with the best teachers and all attention will be on you if you’re a student at U.A. But if I’m honest my chances of being a hero are slim, my childhood friend Shoto Todoroki was the main reason I even applied. We were each other’s rock during our childhood, the abuse our respective parents put us through. Especially when his oldest brother Touya supposedly died in a fire when we were young, it was a hard time for everyone, Shoto is a close friend to me and it breaks my heart that I have to keep a part of my life and my biggest secret from him.
His brother isn’t really dead, it’s been a year since I found out and i don’t think Shoto would ever forgive me if I told him the truth after this long. I was walking down town at night after sneaking out of the student dorms something I do frequently when I need to clear my head and be alone. I saw a tall figure in an alley way watching me, his face shrouded in the darkness of night. But there was a strange feeling in my stomach for some reason I wasn’t scared and my body just kept moving towards the man on its own volition.
“ h-hello ? “ I ask my voice no more than a whisper
The voice that follows was dark and angry as he replied “ someone like you shouldn’t be in a place like this at night “ my heart skipped when I heard him speak his voice sounded slightly familiar, I guess he saw my face change because he stepped out of the alley and into the light of the street. My eyes widened when the man’s face came into view, spiked hair as dark as the night around us, deep purple scars littered his face, neck and arms adorned with staples but I could never mistake those bright blue eyes that threaten to swallow me whole with just one glance “ T-Touya “ I whisper without a second thought making the man’s features visibly darken
“ so you recognize me even though i look like this “ he replies to me before grabbing me and pulling both of us into the alley but as soon as we were both out of the open, i pulled him into a tight embrace “ i-i knew it! Shotos going to be so happy when he sees you! “ I say before the man pulls me back to look into my eyes “ do not tell anyone about this or you’ll regret it understand? “ at the time it shocked me that the eldest Todoroki sibling wouldn’t want to reunite with this family. looking back in it now I can understand, but at the time it took some convincing on his part. We talked for some time and I forced him to agree to continue to see me for my silence. even though he’s a villain know, Touya is still the same caring person I remember from so long ago. We talked for hours and he gave me the number to his secret phone that even the league doesn’t know about. “ well it’s time for you to get back little hero “ he says sarcastically
“ b-but I don’t want to leave you Touya “ I reply with a desperate look in my eyes that’s when we came up with a plan to met twice a week, he wrote down a address for me and promised that the league knew nothing about this. But as I turned around to leave his voice rang out next to my ear “ take care of my little brother for me, won’t you? “ but when I turned back around to the man that I admired as child was no where to be found. I sigh thinking back on it while I get my bag ready to sneak out of the dorm again, I look at the clock ‘ almost time ‘ I think to myself before I hear a knock on my door “ who is it? “ I ask through the door “ Shoto “ the voice replies with the same tone of voice that man always has. “ it’s open “ I call out, he walks in and closes the door back behind him “ going out again? “ he asks as his eyes shift towards the bag on my bed “ you know me so well “ I say sarcastically as Shoto sits down on the bed “ here “ he says as he extends his hand that had a stack of cash in it “ money from your dear old dad “ I ask with a eye roll. Enji always sends his youngest son more money than he knows what to do with so Shoto gives the rest to me. “ yeah, that shitty old man will never give up “ he sighs
I take the money with a “ thanks “ as I put it in my bag along with some other things I’ll need, since we don’t have class tomorrow Shoto said he’ll cover for me if people ask questions’ maybe I’ll stop and get food on the way ‘ I think while zipping up my bag. The man suddenly looks at me with a serious face “ do you have a secret lover or something? “ he asks his question making my whole body tense up “ Shoto don’t be ridiculous “ I reply as I’m putting my bag on and walking to my window and opening it “ you know I hate to be tied down, I’m free like the wind “ was my last words before I jumped out of the window and activating my quirk making a gust of strong winds that carry me out of the school campus. my quirk lets me manipulate the winds its a pretty handy quirk especially with Shotos flames. I float on the winds until I’m safely out of U.A before landing, it was a short walk to the city where I came the convince store I always go to when I visit my beloved. I walk in and scour my options, I stay away from anything with fish since I know Touya hates it, I end up buying us some onigiri, bentos, for me a ichigo sando and some drinks for us. I quickly checked out and made my way to his hide out. The house was the home from one of Touyas old victims that he uses to get away from the league. When I get to the front door I reach for my key that he gave me awhile back but before I could grab it the door swings open and I’m pulled into strong arms “ god I missed you princess “ he sighs as his takes in my scent “ I brought foods “ I say with a smile he pulls his face from my neck and finally looks at my face that is flushed a deep crimson at the sudden contact with the man I’ve grown to love.
I flush deeper as he kisses me, it always feels so good when his lips are on mine. We move our lips slowly as he deepens the kiss, his body flush to mine. When the man finally pulls away we are breathless “ let’s eat “ he says as his bright blue eyes study my flushed face. I can barely hold my composure around his man, he knows how to work me up to make my body need his touch. Before this nights up I know the raven haired man in front of me is going to ruin me and a part of me hopes he does. He pulls me along to the living room and sat me down on his couch “ what did you pick up? “ Dabi asks
I throw the bags over to him “ just a few things and If we need more I have money “ I shrug he pulls everything out of the bags before separating it between us “ the old mans money again? “ he asked without even looking over to me “ yeah, Shoto stopped me before I left “ I sigh and he looks over at me with a worried expression “ he still doesn’t know does he? “
“ I haven’t told a soul about you “
With that we started eating, the silence hanging heavily over the both of us, the youngest Todoroki sibling was always a sensitive topic for the both of us. I was the one to break our silence “ you know we can’t keep it forever, he knows I have a lover “ I say to him while eating my bento, Dabi sat down his chopsticks and sighs “ I know but I don’t want them to know “ he replies before continuing eating. I felt my heart ache at the thought of lying to my best friend for any longer but I understand where Dabi is coming from, he finally left from all the things that hurt him, what if I could be the same?
I look over to the man setting next to me it looks like he’s finished eating our eyes met “ Dabi, what if I could run away with you? Leave U.A and live here with you “ I ask while picking up the sando. He smiles at me “ you really love those don’t you? “ he asks making me nod while taking a bite then he fully turns to look at me with his bright ocean colored eyes “ would you want that? To leave U.A? “ he asks but before I get the change to answer he continues “ leave your friends? What about my brother? “ he says while putting his warm palm to my round cheek “ you know he’ll be sad and I have a feeling that he really loves you Y/N “ he finishes letting his hand drop and turning his face so I can’t see his expression
I throw down the food wrapper and fling myself into Dabis lap “ but I love you ! “ I yell at him while wrapping my arms around his scared neck “ I want be be with you, please Dabi “ I plea to him to let me stay. I can’t see his expression but I feel strong hands grip my thighs in a comforting way before he spoke again with a soft tone from voice I never knew he was capable of “ think this through and whatever you decide we will do together “
I felt my heart skip at the sound of his voice. I couldn’t help myself and pushed him to lay down on the couch and making his eyes wide in surprise. I quickly leaned in to capture his lips with mine. Running my tongue along the rough seam of his lower lip asking him for entry which he happily accepted, opening his lips for our tongues to meet in a deep kiss. I’ve missed this man so much that his touch feels like heaven as his hands glide to my hips, grabbing them in a bruising grip. Dabi breaks the kiss smirking up at me “ you’re needy today “ he points out
“ I-I missed you Dabi “ I said in a pout that made him laugh then he moved one of his thighs until it was pressed against my aching heat.
The moan that left my lips made the man beneath me smirk and replied “ show me just how much you missed me princess “ while rubbing his thigh against me I lean forward and braced myself then started to slowly rock my hips against his clothed thigh but before I could find a good rhythm he stopped me “ wait princess “ he said before gliding his scared hands up my legs then under my skirt slowly pulling my underwear aside “ there you go” he said letting me take the lead again, I rocked my hips experimentally feeling the rough texture of his pants gliding across my bare core “ fuck Dabi! “ I moan out earning me a smirk from the man
“ does that feel good? “ he asks in a growl as he licks at the shell of my ear making a shiver shoot down my spine and I just know he can feel my hardening nipples through my shirt.
I start to move my hips faster on his thigh feeling the material brush across my swollen clit. Heat starts to pool in my lower stomach as my hips rock faster and faster. It’s been so long since we last were together I knew that I wouldn’t last long but this feeling is almost too much.
“ do you feel how wet you’re making my thigh? “ Dabi smirks before grabbing my hips and forcing my core down harder in his thigh and that’s all it took before pleasure shot up my body making me cry out “ TOUYA! “
Dabi growled as his true name left my lips but not letting up as he moved my hips through the orgasm after coming down I fell on Dabis chest “ that’s my good girl “ he said while kissing my forehead, the small act of love made the blush on my cheeks deepen which just made the man laugh “ why don’t you go change and getting some rest? “
I sat up quickly, shocked at the man’s words “ what about you Dabi? “ I ask as I look down to the clear bulge in his pants but the man just brushed it off saying “ I’m fine, we have time don’t we? “ I pour before moving off the man leaving him and the couch walking to his bedroom with my bags. I’ll never understand that man! I’m so fucking mad I can’t stand it.
I walked to the bed picking through my bags, picking out a new pair of underwear and a night shirt before slowly stripping out of my clothing. Pulling my shirt over my head letting my breasts bounce at finally being free then I slid my skirt down my rounded hips letting the fabric hit the floor followed shortly after by my underwear. I kick the clothing aside opting to worry about them later and quickly slipped my new underwear and shirt on before climbing into his bed.
i snuggle up to one of his pillows taking in his scent, being with Dabi like this makes me feel safe and loved. I have lost him once and I never want to lose him again but I can’t stop this guilty feeling. I have known for awhile now that this wasn’t going to be easy and I know i’m betraying Shoto by not telling him about his eldest brother but if I tell him I feel like i will lose the man I love, again “ I’m sorry Shoto “ I whisper
I felt movement behind me as Dabi crawls onto the bed, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me to his solid chest “ you know he’ll be looking for you “ he states and I felt my heart breaking a little bit more but I have made up my mind “ I don’t want to lose you “ I reply without a hint of hesitation in my voice.
His arms tightened around me “ I don’t want you to suffer one this “ he said while burying his head in my hair. “ I know Dabi but I love you and I want to be with you “ I reply
The man stays silent for a few long moments before replying with just a “ okay “ I can’t believe Dabi actually agreed a smile stretches across my face and I say “ I’ll sneak in and get my things “
Dabis arms hold me impossibly tighter “ let’s go to sleep for now “ he says and his words make me feel another hint of guilt but I choose to ignore it and I slowly close my eyes ‘ please still be here when I wake ‘ I plead in my head as I let sleep overtake me.

AU Ideas and other Concepts. 1/?)
Authors Note: I apologize for the delay for the upcoming chapters of Crownless Monarchy, I have been working on the next three chapters (at once) and hope to release them sometime soon.
××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××
Hey y'all. I figured I'd let some of these ideas see the light of day. Perhaps one of you can make something of them.
A bit of disclaimer: The way "s/i" isn't the typical. A Self Insert is usually the author putting themselves as a character.
In the MHA Community this is usally done through projecting ones personality through an existing character (ex: Midoriya)
The way I use S/I is a either:
A: A OC with knowledge or awareness of MHA's canon in some form (visions, reincarnation, intution) These characters are usually made up from a collection of different people and experiences, rather than just my own personhood.
A Character like Seven fit this bill.
B: S/I but Ingrained. Aka a S/I that blends and adapts to the world of MHA, their past self is not as relevant (if it's brought up at all) however may play a role in their perspectives and world views.
A Character like Arachne fits this bill (for another post)
With that out of the way, let's start small and work our way up:
Bonuses: (Minor prompts and concepts)
Dabi uses the PLF's connections to give Rei better treatment/conditions at the Hospital, or just transfer her all together to somewhere safe.
The Hood Enji fights is a Twice Clone while the real Hood is elsewhere.
S/I wakes up as Touya after the 3 year coma.
This one's out there: Hood meets Rei and causes a realization through his blunt honesty (f-flowers, iss the bar t-that low?)
Gigantomachia rewrite/replacement (idk, mine said make them motivational rather than denouncing, also make them smart)
a Vigilante group inspired by the 50 Blessings Organization from Hotline Miami
_______________________________________
Event Swap: At Kamino, Enji's crimes are exposed (how is up to you)
Funfact: The above prompt was originally a time travel fic, here's the unfinished script & notes
HPSC gets exposed as well [ Child soldier project] ) (Perhaps this can be added as well?)
Zero was disguised as AFO and sheds her disguse for her grand reveal
Zero twirled around in place, glittering in the moonlight, taking deep breath "Come and serenade with me, Uncle Toshi." she was wild, wild and yet so meticulous.
They were speechless, shell shocked, They were running to the smoke and lost themselves in the fire.
"You're looking glum Endeavor, y'know for someone who's just achieved No1 status, Ya really need to brighten up!" She jeered.
A canon formed out of her forearm, quickly firing a beam of energy. An explosion rocked the district, some heroes barley fleeing in time, others not so fortunate.
She barked a manic laugh, her eyes wide as saucers, onslaught never ceasing, never to falter.
And as she made her great adeau, the nation finally knew that the age of heroism was torn asunder.
_______________________________________
Bonus: After Ms.Curious is killed, S/I posses her body and lives again (Type A: S/I)
Bonus: Strike Back
Class of Aldera is done with Bakugo's shit( Students stand up for Midorya and try to redeem themselves)
( Fingers calls himself a coward for giving into pressure and fear [ was forced to attack Midorya, threatened verbally and physically by Bakugo and became numb to it], is inspired by a David Shield interview to become a scientist )
Star and Stripes' (Cathleen Bate's) Neice, Head of the W.H.A, travels to Japan following AM'S retirement/ Kamino and begins to take over the reigns from the HPSC. Starting with U.A's internships.
Profile: Mary-Ann Bate
Dirty Blonde, 6,2 ft , wavy blonde hair slightly past shoulders, well kempt, suits and pants
Stern attitude, takes no shit, willing to ground Endevour and Hawks's hero licenses
Q: Reality
Bonus: Replaceable
During the sludge incident it's not Bakugo whom Midorya pulls out
A New Course Of Action:
Following the disaster (Pointless Kamakaze raid), Dabi's expose video and Twice's death at Jaku, The civilians of Tokyo decide to take matters into their own hands, it all starts with one after all.
And lastly a character profile of a background character turned OC
Tumblr media
If you need reference, this is the girl seated next to Midoriya at Aldera, her quirk is pretty rad with the possibility of being better than Hellflame (because she seems to have fine control over the flame itself, becoming it). Of course she needs professional training first
I imagined them (her and Mido) here as friends who met halfway through middle school and have stuck together since.
Much like her quirk and namesake, Ryukka has a fiery disposition and doesn't take kindly to people* harassing her friend(s) (*read Bakugo)
She's one the only people at Aldera willing to stand up to him (her flames cause his quirk to overload)
As hinted at in her quote, she does get into UA and thanks to her and Midorya's study sessions (Quirk and academic wise) she gets in with high scores (beating out Bakugo's score in the Entrance Exam)
Has beef with Aizawa
===============================
As I stated, everything in here is up for grabs so feel free to use it in your works if you so wish.
Just remember to link it here in the comments

BNHA 428: This chapter made me annoyed and yet it was still somewhat better than I expected?
Himichako. I like it, it's a good ship- not one I'm crazy about, but the vision is compelling. I mean, the loved girl on hard times who admires honesty but represses her feelings + hunger motifs, and the formerly wealthy and rejected girl who's honest to herself but masks her sadness from others + drinking motifs? Being so similar at their core from selfishness, bleeding love, admiration and imitation? Yeah, why not, sign me up, it looks fun.
(plus Ochako needed a subplot that would shy away from Izuku because oh boi her writing is messy-)
Then the ending annoucement happened and I immediately went "oh no" when I remembered that tidbit. But. Yesterday, I remembered this page from 424, which in hindsight makes sense:
Shoto moving forward and choosing to not dwell on his past anymore, because he wants to know the man he wants to become alongside his family of choice.
Spinner feeling so much grief for Tomura inside his room, his extra Quirks add up to it. Further gut points as it was all because of AFO, but the wrong person is getting the blame.
Ochako looking lost and dissatisfied, not really saying anything about Himiko's status; then her hidden injury which left a scar that'll never go away, nothing can change that.
And then, well, a sky with a chance to fight for a "bright future". Which is the most ambiguous you can get for anything, really, sequel or not.
Tumblr media
(sidenote: is it me or the panel where she's touching her stab wound looks like a tangent line?)
Okay so, I went into the chapter, with Pikahlua's translations. It was A Chapter alright-
If it wasn't the antepenultimate chapter, the "filler" would've been welcomed. But I guess it means we should focus on the smaller details, I guess? Like that 1st year saying Izuku filled him with courage and Izuku immediately thinking of Spinner's pain? Yeah he hates himself and that people call him a hero, when he considers himself a murderer, and will never forgive himself for failing Tenko, therapy for him and everyone in Class 2-A please- yeah it was a fun detail. Also the throb of hiding your pain of "defeating" someone you wanted to save but in the end everything is miserable but everyone else is happy and you don't wanna be a bother. Fun.
Also I wasn't the one to point the out, but looking at the uniform (U.A. uniform blazer for boys + the tie with a dot for girls), the student who's a Izuku fan is probably trans/gnc, which I appreciate a lot :D (Damn Izuku attracts so many queer people I wonder if that's a sign- /hj)
Also, I guess Class A stating "[Bakugou], Midoriya and Todoroki were at the heart of it all" then focusing on Ochako is good foreshadowing on how her own battle wasn't fully recorded? It's like saying in the end her fight didn't matter, but the other ones went "well", so she's trying (and slowly failing) to keep her sadness at bay because, well, everyone's happy, so who cares? Another "throb".
I thought since the Todoroki family issues are out in the open, didn't they record the whole thing? Then I re-read it, they only saw the family stopping Touya from exploding. So they didn't see Shoto trying to talk to Touya, which means none of the LoV were humanized. Fuck's sake.
After that, I get focusing on the first years and civilians wanting to help and all, but it feels like a repeat of everything seconds before Jakku, so I assume it's a way for them to pretend things are normal? But not-quite-quoting Katsuki (<- which I will point out for my sake is very much alive and well and- oh boi LFtR will kill me) and Edgeshot here because it made me smile:
"Will you...go back to the way you were?" "I plan to attain something greater than what I was originally!"
So, yeah I suppose he'll be fine eventually. (Best J. really loving Edgeshot even as a worm, honestly, goals)
Again with Izuku remembering saying "[He'll] bring it all back" and apologizing for "not keeping his promise" and others telling him to not blame himself and they can reconstruct as many times as it takes. Again, gave me a little smile, but not for long-
Finally, Ochako pretending things are fine. Hello there, Sports Festival/Provisional License!Ochako I missed you- /hj (I miss the dorms era in general, actually.)
So... *sigh* Full disclosure: I wasn't looking forward to Himichako as we were getting 5/10 pages for the "conclusions" in the previous two, I thought Ochako would be off about Himiko being depressed about the League. But since she's MIA, red flags are now red herrings, and it's better than the dead outcome. If Ochako got another person dying in her arms that'd just break her character.
A blood transfusion takes hours, she couldn't been doing that for more than 20min, if it was gonna kill anyone it'd be Ochako. Either Himiko ran away or got arrested, and Ochako feels guilty because she doesn't know if she's dead or not. Not great, but until I see a corpse she ain't dead. Besides: Touya, Shoto, Edgeshot, Katsuki, Toshinori, Ochako herself, all physically hurt unlike her, and yet they live.
And then we have Izuku showing up. I'm upset he used OFA embers for this, but eh, it's Izuku, do I expect anything else?
Rolling with the assumption Himiko died (like our POV characters), Izuku would need to face his own failure in Ochako- Failed to save two people like she failed Himiko, but it'd be so. Empty. Ochako was true to herself, while Izuku gave nothing but "I want to save that crying kid" while fighting Tenko. The most they can do is bond with "failing" and "this isn't what we fought for". This is not really a moment where he can be a shoulder to cry on, it'd come across as hypocritical /neg.
The only way it could make sense it without being shallow on Mr. Control = Repress Your Heart's part (as he didn't open up to the two people who died in "his watch") is Ochako telling how Himiko loved yet seeing him repressing this part of his is idiotic? She likes people who are true to themselves, which Izuku hasn't been for ages, leading to him realizing something. I thought it'd be through a DvsK3 but. I'll take it, two chapters left, I just want his thoughts (and for them to talk but that can happen in the last one).
They only recorded Shoto stopping Touya from being a suicidal bomb, Ochako floating a bunch of Twice!Himiko clones and Izuku entering a coccon, popping out armless, getting them back, punching Tenko to death. The "I want to save [them]" wasn't registered, it makes sense they're (well, Izuku and Ochako mostly) weirded out about this, dissatisfied like most readers are (sidenote: why when it comes to the trio either Ochako or Shoto get sidelined? So much could tie their stories together and yet-)
It's still a tough pill. I'm not a villain stan, just wondering if those fights were for nothing- the humanity of Tenko and Himiko? Can't be proved for anyone else, since they weren't recorded.
And I don't know if anyone saw the same thing, but those "city lights" look like the bubbles from Ochako's awakening, maybe we'll get a Blackwhip or Entrance Exam callback? Maybe it's what the tagline meant by "hidden feelings", since she unlocked it to reach Himiko and doesn't think anyone would understand why. I hope it's just a nice visual though.
If Himiko is truly dead though... You know, I headcannoned the characters were telling the story through confessionals/recordings to register it to the world so they'd learn from that, but I guess the interviews Aizawa was talking about seemed more likely, which. Well it's something, but I thought it'd be everyone instead of just Class A. Idk. The idea the LoV didn't change anything, or that they did change things but don't get to see it, is bitter.
So uh. Yeah, those are my thoughts. I'm not sure how to feel about it, on one hand I want Izuku to finally open up but on the other, it feels like it'll be at Himiko and Ochako's expense by involving him in something that's theirs now. And there's a chance we'll get the "nothing is fine" from Ochako- god I'm fearing the discourse next week already :DDDD
... Man, and this is a bad timing to be in the fandom, considering the LFtR episode airs this Saturday (which will be yesterday by the time this post goes up and I'll be crying about that instead-), so uh. Yeah, this fandom will be emotionally devastated for two reasons XD
Okay, so I'll try ending this on a more optimistic note: I think Himiko is alive, and Ochako just doesn't know it, which is why we're getting 0 confirmation and a breakdown. Izuku's confrontation with her can make or break this plot, but as long as 1) we acknowledge the emotional, different stakes between the Himichako fight and Tenko vs. Izuku one and 2) it doesn't end in a confession (and let's be real, it won't), then we're probably good (sadly, if you disregard the LoV status). I still think it's an ass pull for the camera battery to go out though.
But no matter how this goes: C'mon, two chapters left now, this one was wasted on the first years, smh, let this sequel hopium be a reality I wanna know who's the 425 guy, not the poor first year who's gonna replace Shindo Yo in fanfics- /hj

Hi, wanted to say your work is amazing and it is literally a masterpiece 💅❤ could I request a dabi x female y/n but dabi is a UA student and he isn't a villain. Lol I know it might be a bit challenging because dabi is known as a villain but I would really appreciate it if you could do it. Anyway have a good day😊 and thank you for all that you do because it really makes a difference in my life😘
Asking you out | U.A students Headcanons
gender neutral
-> Went more on asking Y/N out rather than dating for now, cause I was more inspired and I didn’t have time to write recently.
-> An AU where they’re U.A students. Big spoilers for their backstories, obviously.
-> Dabi, Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga.
Touya Todoroki | Dabi
Tumblr media
Touya met you at the recommended students exam, so of course your quirk caught his eye. Sure, he was not like his father. Still, you were impressive enough to have been recommended despite your parents not being heroes, unlike him. Surely it was your skills, right ?
He tried to talk to you at that said examen, but you were too focused to really continue his chit chat. So, he tried again once you ended up in 1A. He was a bit bothered when you only replied « Damn, don’t you look like Endeavor a lot ? ». « Hm… yeah, I’m literally named Touya Todoroki ? » oh. that made sense then.
Due to your strength, you were both often training together, always trying to push your limits. Yet, during all these training sessions, Touya always seemed kind of arrogant. Always looking down at you, when you weren’t really weak against him !
All of that changed during the sports festival. He would have won if it wasn’t for his resentment towards his dad that distracted him during his last fight. Yes, he had won against you. But you had felt bad for him after seeing all these looks towards he father that he kept on giving.
The biggest surprise of this festival was that he actually asked you out, out of the blue, after the medals were given. « Is that a kind of prank ? » you asked. « Of course not ! », « But you always look so annoyed by me ? » you genuinely asked.
« (Y/N)… I’m literally awkward and embarrassed every time I hang out with you. » you giggled. « Which is a lot. We’re often paired up during trainings. » he nodded, smiling at your reaction. « Alright, then. Let’s go out. » you replied. And just like that, he smiled even more.
Tenko Shimura | Tomura Shigaraki
Tumblr media
Despite being a very nice guy, Tenko was used to people feeling unease after having witnessed his quirk. So, he was relieved when, at U.A, people still respected his quirk despite being scared of it. But you were different to his eyes.
Indeed, you immediately caught his attention during the first hero training, after he noticed the dangerous and destructive nature of your quirk, just like his. But unlike him, you didn’t seem insecure about it ; you were embracing it and looked like the most confident student he knew.
You got along rather fast with him. He was a bit shy, but very sympathetic. And you were sat behind him in class, so he let you borrowed some pencils and stuff, from time to time. And he was happy to have a friend like you, inspiring him to embrace his quirk as well.
It was no surprise that he developed a crush on you. But it was more of a surprise when he asked you out confidently. Indeed, during a joint training, someone from 1B mentioned the dangerous nature of his quirk. « You might as well turn out a villain if you find being a hero boring, one day. » And you had heard it.
« Shut the fuck up, you’re lucky he’s nice ! If he was a villain, you would be dead already. » you spat. « He’s stronger than you, I hope you have to go against him so you’ll shut up about his quirk. » Tenko smiled at you, seeing the other student close his mouth.
He walked up to you after the joint training. « (Y/N)… thank you. I wish I was as confident as you are… », « No problem. I wouldn’t like people talking like that about my quirk, sooo… » he nodded. « … That’s gonna be out of the blue, but… would you… go out with me ? » he asked, looking straight into your eyes. You smiled. « Took you long enough ! » agreeing.
Himiko Toga
Tumblr media
Ever since school started, Himiko was the weird girl. To you, she seemed nice. And she was, indeed, nice…. but a bit creepy. It started when everyone introduced themselves, and she had started talking about being kidnapped by villains. How she would react, what she would try to do…
She would always talk about how fights weren’t entertaining it they weren’t bloody enough. And even though she still wanted to be a hero, everyone felt unease when she insisted on using real knives during training, without hesitating when it came to stabbing her classmates.
But she liked you… appreciated you, at least. Despite Himiko being creepy, you would always wave at her when arriving and when leaving. Sure, Ochaco and Tsuyu were still talking to her sometimes, but she wasn’t attracted to them like she was to you.
You started hanging out with her, even outside school, when she defended you. Some Ketsubutsu students were making fun of your quirk after having watched the sports festival, which turned your provisional licence exam into an even more stressful event.
She just arrived, as creepy as she is, and agitated her knife enough to make them go away. After thanking her, you felt like having to hang out with her so you wouldn’t owe her anything. Yet, you didn’t expect her to be like any other girl you were talking with.
As your friendship grew, and as the other girls included her in everything now that they realized that, despite being creepy, she was still nice and likeable, you started playing truth or dare. When the bottle ending up on you, she just said « dare to go out with me » in her own creepy voice. You only giggled at her tone, agreeing happily.
I feel like those aren’t good tbh… hope y’all will like it anyways. It’s been in my drafts for a while and I wanted to finally finish shigaraki’s part so I could publish it before finding out what happens to Dabi in the scans lol… also I’m running out of ideas of what to write cause y’know this blog has been around since June 2019 so it eventually runs out of some ideas/inspiration… hope it’ll come back lol

I am starting to believe the ask has a vendetta against me-
anyway, read a fic, have a new favourite AU:
Amnesia!Dabi
Dabi wakes up shortly after his “death” at a “clinic”(run by AfO, cause of course it is), only instead of being rage-hatred-patricide, he’s like, “The fuck are you? The fuck am I??” He manages to “check himself out” (legit, funniest option, no one expected him to be up and conscious, so he literally just LEAVES, no one finds out till way later he dipped) and spends the next however long trying to piece together who he is. He’s got, like, full binders and notebooks full of theories and leads to check up on, including one with everything he knows about himself, such as:
- fire Quirk
-Fire Quirk hurts me?
- Male
- Like spicy food
-don’t like forests? I think??
-Don’t like my hair white?
-dyed it red BAD IDEA?? Made me want to punch a wall???
-dyed it black, no reaction
-tried soba, it was amazing, I started CRYING, WTF??
-etc
AfO probably decides “eh, not important”, and leaves him be (and also probably gets a kick out of the fact that Dabi is, like, 2 hours away from the Todoroki residence). Anyway, eventually, Dabi still joins the LoV, cause, like, he’s sort of running out of options - not having any documentation makes it hard to get a job, he has a HARD MISTRUST of heroes he can’t really explain, and at this point he’s fairly certain he was a government experiment, so that’s right out.
And like, he’s kind of on board for a few chunks, but Toga is awakening The Big Brother Instincts, so that’s creating problems. Then they kidnap Katsuki, and Dabi is “huh, nah fam, not cool with threatening children, actually”, and helps Kat escape. Drags Toga along, cause at this point she’s his kid. Meets Shouto properly, has the weirdest reaction, thinks “maybe I know him??” So, goes to U.A., like, “Hey, I have severe memory loss, but I think I know the Peppermint kid? I helped save one of your students, can that earn me the bare minimum of human decency for help? Also, can you please help Toga, she needs SO MUCH BLOOD, I think the lack is making her sick. Huh? The staples? Yeah, I don’t get it either man, that doctor was insane.”
Then Natsuo shows up for some reason and is immediately “WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK TOUYA!?” Dabi, confused “Do I know you?? Wait, am I Touya??”
Original fic that inspired this plot bunny: https://archiveofourown.org/works/28113402/chapters/68882268
-
AHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHA
Honestly this would be the funniest fucking option because like.
With amnesia? Dabi is pretty useless to AfO. Like sure AfO could /tell/ him ‘oh yeah your dad is a Hero but he’s An Asshole™’ but the kid wouldn’t have any sort of rage behind it to really manipulate him into villainy. Like sure he’d be upset but he wouldn’t be so rage blind that he’d ignore that AfO is /very obviously far worse/
and like. Sure. AfO could pull a Shigaraki 2.0 of ‘hey I kidnapped and brainwashed a Hero’s family member into working for me’. But that really doesn’t hit as hard the second time does it?

Hi! I’m writing a dabihawks fanfiction this time ;)
Pairing : Dabi / Hawks. Todoroki Touya / Takami Keigo
Tags : High School AU, Hero Torodoki Touya, Hero Shigaraki Tomura|Shimura Tenko, Hero Iguichi Shuuichi|Spinner, Angst, Hurt & Comfort
Summary : Todoroki Touya enters his second year at UA, stuck with Hawks, the most perfect person he can’t stand. But as the school year unfolds, Touya finds himself drawn into Hawks’ hidden struggles, uncovering secrets that make him question everything he thought he knew.
———————————————//——————————
He was in his class.
Keigo, better known as Hawks. The perfect student, the golden child, the one everyone talked about in hushed, admiring tones. A prodigy that U.A had never seen before.
From the few joint exercises between Class A and Class B last year, Touya had seen more than enough of Keigo in action to solidify his feelings.
He remembered watching Hawks during one of the exercises, soaring above the rest of them, surveying the field like a predator in control of everything. He didn’t just participate in the exercise—he owned it. And that smug, radiant smile when he swooped in to save the day, like it was the most natural thing in the world, only made Touya's blood boil.
Hawks was everything Touya had worked so hard to be, yet he was miles ahead without even trying. It felt like the universe was mocking him, dangling perfection right in front of his face. Every time Touya saw Hawks in action, it was like a reminder of his own failures, his own struggles to control his quirk, to keep from burning himself alive.
There Hawks stood, effortlessly charming the room, his smile brighter than the sun. He moved with a confidence Touya could only dream of, like he belonged—like he was made for this. The way he connected with others, how people naturally gravitated toward him, it was almost unfair. Everything about him was unfair. His flawless face, his easy laugh, and, of course, those wings. Touya’s eyes were drawn to them immediately—massive, magnificent, red wings, neatly tucked behind him but full of power, just waiting to unfold.
Touya felt an ache in his chest—a twisted mix of admiration and envy. How could someone like Hawks even exist? He was perfect in every way Touya was broken. He wanted to hate him, but instead, all he could feel was this gnawing jealousy. Keigo was what Touya knew he could never be: light, free, perfect.
But despite all the bitterness, there was something more insidious gnawing at Touya. Something he hated even more than Hawks himself—the sickening admiration he couldn’t shake off. It was buried beneath layers of resentment, but it was there, lurking. Because as much as he despised Keigo, part of him wanted to be him.
He didn't fell that since he had saw the perfect divided red and white hair of his baby brother. And that was the worst part of it all.
And now, for the second time of his life, perfection incarnate was going to be in the same place as him, every single day, reminding him of everything he wasn’t. Of everything he could never be.
He felt himself regressing, still feeling like the angry and unstable child he had been.
That sucks.

Dabi (Todoroki Touya) X Fem!Reader
Blur/Snippet/Drabble whatever
!Manga SPOILERS!
Tumblr media
The biggest headlines throughout every news channel, among the media and newspapers. It was the enormous news that broke the news. The infamous villain, Dabi had killed the Number One Hero Endeavor. He broke out of the hospital by kidnapping a Pro Hero named Remedy, a staff member at U.A. It created all kinds of conspiracy theories.
A staff member who worked closely with Recovery Girl due to having similar quirks in the form of healing. A teacher who her students loved within the heroes department. A Pro Hero who was always called on by Hospitals for severe injuries.
The same one who stepped in to save her student, Midoriya Izuku from death, and purposely went against orders. She refused to let the responsibility of killing Shigaraki Tomura fall on a teenager's shoulders. With the help of her student, she was the one who killed him by taking his life force, which was used to restore her life energy due to the repetitive regeneration.
You were the reason why there weren’t any casualties when Dabi had ‘kidnapped’ you. You had made any Pro heroes pass out by using their own energy with hints of her own to heal their own wounds. Such as Hawks got his wings to be fully healed. Aizawa's eyes were completely healed which means he was able to use her quirk once more.
It was the bizarre case that drove everyone insane. No one could figure out why would Dabi kidnap her. The thing was you could have easily taken him down if you truly wanted to unless you were beyond exhausted after causing people to faint whoever tried to stop you. There was no kind of trace behind to follow along the tips from the public had stopped coming in on any sighting of them within the first week. It was like the two just vanished to the ends of the world.
Dabi now known as Todoroki Touya gets put on the most wanted criminal worldwide if he has traveled out of the country with the kidnapped hero.
Unknowingly, Todoroki Touya no longer had purple skin with stables to his skin. He no longer had the identifying ear and nose piercings. His skin was completely cleared and normal. He looked like another person completely. His healed body and looks are now under a different identity.
The conspiracy theory that was corrected was the two of you were lovers.
A Hero and Villain.
Now, he is living out of the grid with you on his side until everything calms down. You had an alternative appearance in order to not be recognized. You did eventually send a letter to your family to let them know you were okay. You attached a picture of the two of you at the festival.
Your family already knew who Touya was before he eventually became Dabi. They were surprisingly supportive. They were the ones who got the official documents with your new identities. They did not say anything at all and acted clueless to the authorities.
They knew you were more capable of taking care of yourself, especially having him beside you.
Love makes you do crazy things.
Tumblr media
I had to write out of my brain because I couldn’t focus on my school work or sleep. I had to get out of my system.

Catch me if you can // Dabi x Reader
Summary: After Endeavor discovers his oldest son cannot be the one to surpass All Might, he decides his future grandchildren could carry on his legacy. He finds an ice user for his son to marry once he comes of age. What he doesn't expect is for Touya to pass away in a fire. Already stuck in a contract with your parents, he moves the marriage contract to be with Touya's younger brother. You and Natsuo manage to post pone the wedding so the two of you can adjust to adulthood before settling down. When the U.A. students have a training camp in the woods you are quick to volunteer. To your surprised you greeted by a ghost of your past.
Word count: 3,605
Warnings: FAB reader agnst, hurt/comfort, hopeful ending
-
You had been a part of the Todoroki family for as long as you could remember. After Touya’s parents had found out that he was not compatible with his quirk Endeavor was quick to find a way to still make his son useful to his overall goal. If Touya was meant to have an ice quirk, then he would find an ice user for his son to marry. If Touya couldn’t have the quirk Endeavor wanted, then potentially his grandchildren could. Your parents wanted to ensure that you would live a comfortable life and when the number two hero approached them looking for an ice user for his son to marry when he became of age they were quick to agree. Soon after that you had weekly visits in the Todoroki household.
For the first few months Touya wanted nothing to do with you. All that he would speak about was how he would rather be training with his father than staring at some “stupid girl”. Your parents would always give you a gentle rub on the shoulder to assure you that the ill tempered boy would eventually be friendly to you. It took a lot longer than you had hoped, but he did.
“Maybe if I am nice to you my father will start training with me again,” he huffed as his snow white hair blew back against the wind as the two of you trekked up the large hill to where you knew he liked to play with his fire. You crossed your arms with a pout at the fact he had planned to only be kind to you for his father’s attention.
“Or,” you butted in, “you could be nice to me because you could actually have a friend.”
“I do not need to have friends. Especially weak friends like you.” The icy glare he shot back at you over his shoulder made you frown. Finally fed up with his behavior, you decided to show him your quirk. You put a large wall of ice up in front of him causing him to come face first into the cold surface. A smirk shot across your face as he felt flat on his butt. “I am not weak,” you spat looking down at him. He simply smirked back up at you as he held his hand to the ice wall and melted a hole into the so the two of you could walk through it to your destination.
“Ice, huh?” he asked as you trailed behind him, “I see why my dad chose you.”
After you finally stood up to him he was more willing to let you in. Day after day turned into you learning more and more about the boy your parents had told you that you had to befriend.
You only got two more years with him after that. You recall the pained look in your parents’ eyes when they had informed you that Touya had died in a fire. That was your first heartbreak. Touya had become your person since that day in the woods. The one person that knew every detail about your life and all of your dreams and fears.
The next heart break came only a few weeks later when your parents had informed you that Endeavor and them had decided that instead of marrying Touya you would marry his younger brother Natsuo instead.
-
Natsuo laid across your bed as he watched you pack your bag for the U.A. training camp you had volunteered for. In the last decade of Touya’s passing, you had decided that you weren’t going to get close to Natsuo the way you did his brother. You decided you would never let your heart break the way it did that day again.
“Where are you going again?” Natsuo asked, tossing a tennis ball up and down that he found on your bedroom floor.
“Somewhere in the woods. I can’t remember what the name of it is. I just know Eraser Head asked if I would be willing to chaperone during the kid’s training,” you replied as you folded a pair of shorts to stuff into the large bag in front of him.
“You spend more time with those kids than you do me and we are the ones supposed to be getting married next year.”
You shot a glare in his direction in response making a smirk spread across his face. The two of you didn’t want to marry one another. You wouldn’t let feelings more than friends develop between the two of you and he wasn’t complaining about it either. Natsuo was able to fend off his father from forcing the two of you to marry immediately after he had turned eighteen. He reminded his father that he wanted a degree and you had plans of becoming a hero. Endeavor was willing to give the two of you a few years to adjust to adulthood before he had forced the two of you to become one. In those years, Natsuo got into a school he was happy with and you graduated U.A. and began working in Endeavor’s agency. You were usually permitted to volunteer with the kid’s at U.A. after Shouto had begun his studies there. You knew it was just a ploy for his father to get some idea on what the teachers there were training for him on. Shouto didn’t mind having you there though. He knew that you wouldn’t spill too much to his father.
“You look at me too much as a sister to be excited about us getting married,” you gave him a playful smirk as he began to fake a gag.
“Don’t remind me,” he groaned, covering his face, “I don’t even want to think about having kids with my sister.”
You scrunch your nose up in disgust at the last sentence he spoke. The two of you would have to conspire another plan to postpone your union another few years.
-
Being in the woods reminded you of the days of training with Touya behind his father’s back. A bittersweet smile crept its way across your face as thought back on all the times you and him would go back and forth throwing attacks of bright blue fire and shiny ice walls at one another until you were lying side by side panting for breath. You felt a gentle nudge on your shoulder as you walked through the training grounds. When you looked to its source you were greeted with blue and gray eyes. “Hi, Shouto,” you said softly, wrapping an arm around his shoulder making him make a face of disgust before shrugging you off of him. You let out a small laugh letting your arm fall back to your side.
“You look upset so I thought I would give you my company,” he said blankly, not looking you in the eyes.
“I appreciate it, but I am fine. You should be enjoying this moment and spending time with your friends.”
He was silent for a moment. You knew this usually meant he was looking for the right way to phrase a question he wanted to ask. “Are you thinking about your wedding?”
It was your turn to think now. You knew you weren’t thinking about your wedding, but you also know you were not willing to speak to Shouto about Touya. You couldn’t tell him that you wished that Touya was still here. Maybe if he was he would be here walking beside you and Shouto, helping train the next generation of heroes. Maybe the two of you would be planning your arranged wedding right now. Maybe you would have had one or two future heroes right now. You shook those thoughts out of your head before turning back to your favorite ice and fire user.
“I am very excited and honored to marry Natsuo. I wouldn’t be sitting here looking glum if I was thinking about becoming a Todoroki,” you smiled, giving him a nudge.
“You are such a liar. Anyone that knows my family, does not want to be a part of it,” he replied in his usual bluntness. A breathy laugh left your lips as you turned your head to pay attention to the trail.
“I do enjoy being a part of your family,” you admitted, “I love Nastuo, Fuyumi, and you.”
It was Shouto’s turn to smile at you. He didn’t need to reply for you to know he loved having you around as well.
-
You shot a panicked look at Aizawa as you looked at as you got the telepathic message regarding the villain attack. The two of you immediately shot out of the classroom to help fight against whoever had intruded on the students’ training session. The two of you stopped outside of the building. Anxiety creeped its way through your body as you both noticed smoke pouring from the top of the tree lines where young heroes were attempting to improve their skills. A voice pulled you out of your thoughts. The two of you went to turn to see who it belonged to only to be greeted by hot flames. The only words you could pick up were “stay away” as you and Aizawa were greeted with hot flames. Aizawa shot upwards and you threw up a thick wall of ice to take the impact of the flames. You let out a breath of relief before looking up to ensure Eraser was fine. His eyes were red as he pulled the raven haired villain to the ground with a knee to the face, demanding what he and the villains wanted. Shortly after Tenya and a few kids came shooting out the woods. “Stay back,” he shouted, shooting a wall of ice in their direction to keep them from getting any closer to the man behind the attack. “I wonder if you can save them in the end,” you hear Dabi say. Your eyes shoot back to him only to see that he began to dissolve into Aizawa’s scarf. You realize quickly that the man in front of you was not the real villain and your feet take you racing into the woods. You could hear Aizawa’s heavy footsteps stomping behind you. You heard him stop as he came in contact with Midoriya. You didn’t bother to be a part of their conversation. You knew there were still other children out in those woods. One of them being Shouto. You heard Mandalay’s voice through your head granting permission to use their quirks against the villains. You sucked in a sharp breath thinking about these young kids going after villains that have killed people.
You felt a pair of eyes on you making you stop. The glare burned into the back of your head. As you turned you were greeted to a hot hand squeezing your throat, tackling you to the ground. You were quick to shoot a cylinder of ice up, sending your assailant up and away from you. You crawled to your feet, feeling the burning scratch marks on your throat. You watched as your cylinder began to melt in front of you. Steam covered your makeshift battle ground from the cold to hot contact. You only knew one villain in the League with a fire quirk. “Dabi,” you spat, trying to find him in the mist. The only sign of him was a blue glow coming through where you believed to have thrown him. “Endeavor’s ice user,” he called back. The nickname sent a bitter taste in your mouth. The idea of being a pawn for your future father in law made you sick, even though you knew it was true. There was another ball of burning blue fire shooting your way and you were back on the offense. For a moment, it reminded you of all the hours you spent as a child battling Touya’s flames with your ice. You could never beat him as a child. Every fight ended up with your face in your hands with a pout. It wasn’t until a few months ago, when Shouto started actually using his fire where you got to practice fighting fire users again.
You shot another wall of thick ice up to block the impact of the flames. You heard a bitter laugh come from Dabi as his fire died down. “Is that all you know how to do?” It sounded almost like he believed you were too boring to be fighting him. Anger welled up inside of you. Who was he to make you out to be weak? You began shooting sharp ice spikes in his direction. You could hear pieces of his clothes ripping as he tried dodging your ice spikes. “I am not a weak opponent,” you yelled, encasing him in your ice. You began stalking towards him, forming an ice sword into your hands. You pressed it to his throat as he kept his head down. A light chuckle left his throat before he looked up at you. It was the first time that you had ever been so close to him. His eyes were familiar. You stopped in your tracks, just staring.
“Touya,” you let out a pained whisper. You barely noticed his eyes widened before they sunk back into his bored expression.
“Are you concussed, stupid girl? The name is Dabi,” he scoffed. You watched as he began to melt your ice. You were too frozen to do what you knew you needed to do. You began studying his features. The shape of nose and jaws. The deep blue of his eyes. The way he stalked towards you. If it wasn’t for the black hair, and purple, marred flesh and the shiny stables holding his skin together, he would be exactly what you would imagine Touya to look like if he hadn’t died. You sucked in a breath as he had managed to stand merely 4 inches away from you. The smell of smoke filled your lungs as you looked up to his face. He was staring down at you, blue eyes boring into yours. Before you knew what you were doing, you had your arms squeezing into his sides in a tight hug, as tears burned your eyes. “Touya,” you cried, burying your face into his chest. You could feel him tense up. If this wasn’t Touya, Dabi probably would have assumed you had lost your mind. He doesn’t push you away like you thought. Instead, you feel his hands gently on your shoulders, you could tell he was contemplating what to do. He slowly peels you off of him. He takes a step back, almost as if he is scared of what either of you will say next. There is silence for a few more moments.
“I am not Touya,” he says bitterly. The name Touya comes out like it burns his tongue. You know better though. You know Touya. His mannerisms, his attitude, the way he speaks, the way he tries to play it off like he doesn’t care with a hard ass attitude.
“If you’re not Touya, then kill me,” you challenge. The man in front of you grimaces before shaking his head.
“I did not come here to indulge you,” he scoffs.
“Sounds like you have a soft spot. I know you won’t kill me. I also know you won’t tell me what happened to you,” your voice is barely above a whisper. You're still too stunned at the fact that your friend that had died is standing right in front of you, years later.
“I need to get back to my mission,” he replies boredly, completely ignoring your words from before. He turned on his heels to walk away from you. Sudden rage filled you. You were quick to make a small ice building trapping the two of you in it. Dabi walked face first into the ice, falling flat on his butt from the sudden impact. “Deja vu,” he huffs under his breath, hoping you didn’t hear him. You did though and a sudden smile spread across your face as you ran back over to him, pulling him into another hug that made him tense up.
“You ARE Touya,” you wail, squeezing him tighter. He can feel his white shirt being soaked with your tears. He lets out the breath he was holding in as he finally caves and wraps his arms back around your waist. He knows this is a bad idea, but he couldn’t resist indulging in this. He missed you a lot more than he was willing to admit. He only ever got to see you on the television screen as you celebrated capturing villains alongside his father or when the hero gossip channels spoke on your engagement to his brother. Both of those topics would usually put him in an awful mood that made everyone in the League avoid him.
“I am Dabi now,” he reminds you, pulling you off of him for the second time in the last ten minutes. “You can not say anything about this. Plus it’s not like anyone will believe you.” There is a smirk on his face at the last sentence. He knew he was right. His father would probably burn you alive if you had attempted to even bring up the name Touya in front of him. You  both knew that.
“You left me,” you whispered, playing with the zipper of his jacket. His facial features soften as he looks back up to you.
“I didn’t mean to,” he replies with a soft voice. This is the first time he has seen anyone express any form of remorse and sadness over him disappearing all those years ago. He shouldn’t be surprised though since it is you. You have always shown him kindness, even when he was a little asshole to you. “I see my brother has been taking care of you though. I am sure you guys are looking forward to being married.” He sounds bitter. You were supposed to be his. The only gift his father has ever given him that wasn’t supposed to cause him pain. Yet here you were with a big diamond on your finger that screamed your heart belonged to Natsuo.
“Please don’t remind me,” your voice was sad. He didn’t like it. He also didn’t understand it since every time he saw glimpses of you and his younger brother the two of you always looked so happy. “We’re just doing this because of our parents. You know that. If you would have stayed, it would be you in Nastuo’s shoes. Though, I am sure you would be doing the same exact thing as him and coming up with more and more reasons to keep pushing the wedding back.”
He wouldn’t though. He knew he wouldn't. The only person who never lost hope in him and continued to cheer him on was you. Touya knew you still saw the good in him, otherwise you would have blasted him to a different planet nearly twenty minutes ago so you could go and protect those kids in the woods. He would have married you the second the two of you were the age to legally do so. He wouldn’t tell you that though. He knew better. He knew you deserved better. Being with him now would just lead you to even more heartbreak than what he had already caused.
“I have to go,” he whispered, “I have to do this job to get to my end goal.”
“You don’t have to,” you argue back softly. You didn’t want to end this reunion. You didn’t want him to leave you alone again. “You don’t have to stay with the league. You can come home.”
Touya shakes his head. He couldn’t have you pleading with him to stay. He is in too deep to his plan now. He has killed too many innocent people to get out of this scotch free. The only home he would have if he left the League would be a prison cell. He didn't want that. He knew that you didn’t want him to be in there either. Maybe even more than you didn’t want him to continue a life of crime. He is almost positive that you were rooting on Dabi’s arrest before you found out his real identity.
“I am leaving now,” he tells you tapping on your hips to get you to stop straddling him from the hug you previously forced him into. You reluctantly get off of him and he gives you a forgiving smile as he reaches his hand on a section of your ice to melt an exit. Before he can you grab a hold of his other hand. He looks back at you softly to see what you need before he departs. There is worry in your eyes and maybe even forgiveness.
“Please tell me what you and the rest of the league are doing here?” you plead, hoping the goal isn’t to actually kill the students of U.A. That’s when you catch him shooting you a devious smirk that hints he is about to say something that will piss you off. He melts a piece of ice big enough for him to escape before he indulges your question.
“I gotta give you another reason to chase me down, princess. So I’m kidnapping Bakugou,” he winks at you before setting a wall of fire in front of you so it’d be harder to get to him.
“Touya,” you scream in rage as you hear him laugh back at you.
“See you later, pretty girl,” he shouts back, “catch me when you can!”

🐌 hello! i’m 20, lit - adv. lit and i’m looking for other 18+ lit - adv. lit people interested in some my hero academia roleplays. fair warning that i’m very slow with replies at the best of time, and i usually average 1-2 replies/week. sometimes more, sometimes less.
either way. i’m interested in both ccxcc and ccxoc (me writing the cc. i’m a bit more selective when it comes to ccxoc, and might ask to double depending on the character). very open to anything poly (and playing multiple characters, in general), but i don’t write f in mxf ships.
i write for way too many characters, both obscure and non-obscure, and i’m (in general) open to making my list longer and trying out more characters. might take me a moment to get the characterisation right, though.
some lists, in no particular order (characters in () are characters that i’m not super confident with but open to trying out ):
u.a students: bakugou katsuki ; iida tenya ; kaminari denki ; tokoyami fumikage ; kaibara sen ; ( shinsou hitoshi ) ; ashido mina ; asui tsuyu ; uraraka ochako ; jirou kyouka ; tokage setsuna ; hatsume mei  pro heroes: all might / yagi toshinori ; ( eraserhead / aizawa shouta ) ; ( present mic / yamada hizashi ) ; hawks / takami keigo ; fatgum / toyomitsu taishiro ; thirteen / kurose anan ; midnight / kayama nemuri ; miruko / usagiyama rumi ; mt. lady / takeyama yuu ; ragdoll / shiretoko tomoko villains: giran / okuta kagerou ; ( kurogiri ) ; magne ; (( dabi / todoroki touya ))
i’m almost fully caught up on the manga and i’ve watched all of the anime. i don’t mind writing with people not fully caught up yet, though. and i’m fond of both canon-verse plots and full AUs (especially fantasy AUs, at the moment). i have some vague ideas, depending on characters, but i’m fond of way too many things and i’m open to hearing out essentially anything. i’m open to a fair amount of darker topics and nsfw (as long as it doesn’t take over everything), and i am not super interested in pure romance or heavy amounts of fluff at the moment, but again i’m very flexible.
please like this and i’ll reach out, i mainly write on discord but i’m open to other platforms.

I wouldn't exactly call Shouto a prodigy because of the fact that characters like Touya and Katsuki exist.
Hum...
...for start I wouldn't say the fact that two prodigies exist, forbid the existence of a third one... or of a forth one, nor that all the prodigies have to be at the exact same level. Often in manga there are prodigies who are at close levels but one is slightly better than the other.
If you think that Touya and Bakugou are better than him or that he's not good enough to be defined a prodigy, well this is another matter but it's also a matter of opinions.
Shouto is one of the best of his class, a class that's made of students which are supposed to be la creme de la creme (the premise is U.A. high takes only the best ones) so we are already at a very high level.
It's probably worth mentioning even Bakugou was impressed by Shouto when he first saw him in action (Chap 11)... and the story remarks more than once he's impressive.
I would say Horikoshi thinks both of them are prodigies and, although I do hate stats, even them seem to have been written to say the same, giving both first exactly the same stats in 4 aspects, and then changing them slightly to remark where they've improved (Shouto's stats worsening in tehcnique probably reflect the fact he's now trying to adjust to use his fire... but he still have pretty high results).
Tumblr media
I'm confident their stats will change in the final analysis book to show their progresses and they still have room for improvement as they're pretty young.
Still, as I've said in a previous post, it's hard to establish how much of a prodigy one is compared to other people. For me the three of them are all prodigies, but prodigies in different things. I don't make the rules so people can disagree.
So, said all this, if you still think Shouto is not a prodigy, let's agree to disagree. We don't have to think the same and I'm grateful you felt like sharing your opinion with me.
Lastly, I hope no one will try to start a 'character war' over this post but that we all can discuss our opinions in a civil manner, respecting the ones of other people.

If you haven’t yet, come read my Student! AU Dabihawks fanfic
(Summary below the cut)
Trusting A ‘Villain’
(Reminder that the podfic is embedded into the start of EVERY chapter for easy read along. )
Summary:
Hawks is a student at U.A. struggling under the pressure to constantly score top of his class. When he scores second, the HPSC comes down hard, prostituting him out to Endeavor whose child was kidnapped.
Broken and bruised, he escapes only to be beaten for resembling an animal. A raven-haired stranger claiming to be Endeavor’s eldest son, who is also hiding Endeavor’s youngest (kidnapped) child, takes Hawks in and cares for him.
Hawks returns to school and finds himself stuck between two worlds. Does he report Dabi and his siblings for kidnapping, and betray his best (and first) friend? Or does he leave them be, and continue to suffer under Endeavor's misplaced anger?
Or maybe, just maybe, does he leave the hero’s life behind and join Touya, a self-named villain.
TLDR: Hawks is a UA student trying to break free from a life of abuse. Touya is their to help him.
