If you saw the last post (link here), then you'll see my vinyl collection is only starting with 2 pieces sadly. Vinyls are kind of expensive though, especially rare ones, so I trend towards CDs. I want to start a cassette collection too but hear they aren't as long-lasting as the others and my cassette player is broken.

I'm embarrassingly proud of my Doe Deer record, but I really did pay too much to get it. I had pneumonia and almost died so I just bought it to make myself happy after my friend got me into CC, and it still makes me very happy. I'm debating selling it next year along with some of my other CDs because the prices are going up for it since a lot of people want it. There's only 500 out so it's a privilege to have it fr. I also think I'm the only person with the ENOi single album because I didn't even know it existed until a seller showed it to me. And I could only tell it was legit because the old telephone number to Kithewhale was on it. 💀

Next year, I have no goals for what I want to collect though I want to begin trading and selling. I'm hoping to get my hands on some byul.org CDs, but they are very expensive to come across in my nation, and to complete my eaJ collection of CDs mentioned last post. Anyways, cheers to a good collection year. 🖤

“i’m just saying, byeon wooseok is hot but why does he always die!! it takes me out of the immersion.” y/n complained, seunghan laughing softly. y/n, sohee, and seunghan had just finished watching ‘lovely runner’ together, y/n venting his thoughts to them.

“does sungchan hear you talk about this?” sohee asked, putting a gummy worm in his mouth. “sungchan thinks byeon wooseok’s hot too. it’s a communal appreciation.” seunghan laughed again, stealing one of sohee’s gummy worms, the two squabbling.

“hey y/n.” a voice shouted, eunseok coming into the living room. “i have a date with this guy, can you tell me if this outfit’s good?” y/n leaned over the back of the couch, glass held lazily in his hand.

“yeah come in here.” eunseok came into view, a white crop top on his torso with a pair of baggy jeans. a bag rested on his shoulder, hair styled with more fluff in the bangs. “if you’re going for attractive gay man, i think you got it!”

eunseok smiled, holding his hand out for y/n to pass him the cup. y/n sighed, passing his glass over for eunseok so he could take a sip. “sigh, i need to leave soon but my boyfriend hasn’t made an appearance.” shaking his head, eunseok passed the cup back to y/n. “that’s not right pookie.”

peaking his head out of the corner of the kitchen, wonbin sighed. “leave without saying hi.” y/n groaned, putting his head in his hands. “i came to see him! but then he was like ‘let me do something first then we can hang out’ and now i’m here.”

sohee laughed softly as anton walked up to y/n, hugging him gently. “he won’t care… we all know you’ll be back here by like… 7pm.” sighing, y/n pat anton’s back before standing up. “i guess.”

walking to the shoe area, y/n started to put on his tennis shoes, shouting out to sungchan. “babe! i’m going home!” there was a loud clambering of footsteps as sungchan ran to see him, placing a soft kiss on his lips. “i’ll see you soon baby.”

“tsk…” y/n teased, patting sungchan’s shoulders. “give me another kiss you silly… i came over to see you but i ended up hanging out with little kid sohee and the gay one.”

sungchan chuckled, pressing another soft kiss to y/n’s lips. “i’m sorry loveeeeeee… i got busy and knew you wouldn’t mind. you love hanging out with little kid sohee and the gay one.” y/n nodded happily, a bright smile on his face as he kissed sungchan again instead of replying.

their lips locked together gently, like their connection was the only thing that mattered to them. it was easy for them, natural as they had done this thousands of times, and yet it was never enough.

“alright, alright, don’t do that please!” shotaro begged, sungchan breaking their kiss to stare at him. y/n laughed, pecking sungchan’s lips once before waving to the rest of his friends. “bye! see you later!” he spoke, exiting out the door quickly, sungchan’s smile falling as he turned to now faced his group.

y/n smiled softly as he and sungchan held hands, the giddy, teenage-like feelings arising in his stomach. “i love you so much… it’s almost sickening.” he whispered into sungchan’s ear, the words vibrating off his lips.

sungchan smiled softly, pecking y/n’s cheek. “i’m lucky to have a boyfriend who i love so much.” a loud knock sounded on sungchan’s bedroom door, seunghan’s voice resonating through the walls. “get your pjs on or we’re starting tiana without you!”

y/n groaned, turning to yell towards seunghan. “we’ll be right out!” he exclaimed, sungchan chuckling softly as he grabbed the couple’s pajamas, a matching sanrio set sungchan had bought for fun a few months into their relationship.

taking off his shirt, y/n quickly grabbed the pajamas and pulled the top over his torso, following the same process with his pants. he skipped out of the room, sungchan following behind him.

“y/n hyung! i saved you a spot!” y/n smiled at sohee’s wrong, running to sit next to the younger. the movies opening credits began to play, a soft smile on his face as sohee curled into his chest.

“why didn’t you wait for me…” sungchan pouted, taking his seat next to y/n. “the movie was starting and sohee asked me to sit with him… how am i supposed to refuse that adorable face.”

sungchan tsked, looking at the movie as he wrapped his arm around y/n. sohee smiled softly, seunghan whining. “why do you get to sit next to y/n hyung? you have to share him with the rest of us…”

y/n chuckled, patting the other side of his lap, seunghan’s face lighting up as he scooted over to snuggle into y/n’s body. sungchan scoffed, y/n placing a soft kiss on his lips to soothe him. “don’t complain baby… you can still cuddle me.”

“glady.” sungchan mumbled, wrapping his arm tighter around y/n’s waist, touching sohee’s waist on accident. “get your hands off of me sungchan hyung…” sohee muttered, glaring at the older male.

sungchan clicked his tongue, pinching sohee’s waist before gripping at y/n’s hip. “i love you so so much.” he whispered. y/n smiled, his heart filling up with a sense of comfort as he pressed a kiss to sungchan’s cheek. “you silly goose… i love you baby.”

soft giggles escaped from sungchan’s mouth, y/n pressing kisses to his face, the one on his lips lingering for a second longer.

“would it kill you to not kiss on our couch!” eunseok yelled, throwing a pillow in y/n’s face. looking back at him, y/n’s jaw clenched. “just because you’re alone, sad, and bitchless song eunseok doesn’t mean you have to be an ass!”

he jumped up, grabbing the pillow tossed at him to start attacking eunseok. “pillow fight!” wonbin yelled, now joining in, seunghan and sohee stumbling to make their stances.

sungchan smiled, looking at his boyfriend surrounded by his bandmates, loud screams of joy sounding through the dorm as people got hit by pillows.

“baby come help me kick their asses!” y/n cheered, looking back at sungchan pleadingly.

standing up to join y/n, sungchan started to hit shotaro with his pillow, smiling happily.

nOpe thats it. its over and the line up is such a mess. no taeson, no hyunbin, no jaemin, no daehyeon. instead u have one 08 liner, two 09 liners and ksoul (which is way worse than all the minors together). i ddnt expect to get 100% linup but this is way worse than i was expecting. even the producers looked shocked lmao. this is a disaster, the whole time i really thought they could be on the same or similar level of popularity as zb1 but hell no. they have no chance. and im so fuckign angry about it bc you have really talented members who deserved to debut in a good group with a chance to make it big but no. there is no way now. also what the fuck is the groups name??? just fantasy boys??? srsly mbc??? i laughed so hard at zb1 bc its so fuckign ugly but at least THEY ARE NOT CALLED BOYS PLANET

so under the influence of local anaesthetics and pretty strong painkillers, i made the very questionable decision to watch fantasy boys. it was a mistake and you're going to suffer with me.

first things first. i dont think the editing is bad? surprisingly it doesn't look like they are trying to evil edit some trainees? which is surprising and it also shows how low the bar is lmao (im looking at you mnet).

the first two eps were okay. they showed a lot of performances without evil editing them that much? i hated the way they made myungjae look incompetent but he was the only one used for the drama value? i think? as i said i was not really focused while i was watching it lol. also the way they sorted them to the grades using the id card was very dramatic and i like the idea

the most questionable thing is the dorm situation. that one trainee saying it look like the squid game room was not far from the truth lmao. them sleeping in one big room is just creepy, especially when they don't really switch the light off during the night in the halls?? i would not be able to fall asleep in such an open space. and them having to spend their free time there? nope NOPE :D

their idea for the visual battle was cool. them knowing only the visual concept and choosing without knowing the song was evil. and the songs seemed equally impactful. whoever chose them did a good job.

now the participants. maybe im just way too old but why does it seems like the majority of the trainees have an extremely huge ego? i know that this is survival show and pretending you are better than you actually are and creating an interesting persona is literally part of their job but boiiiii its so annoying? i have zero interest in stanning a 15yo who thinks they're best at absolutely everything while lacking a basic human decency. idk im just not vibing with this attitude. most of the teams had very bad teamwork bc they are all self-centric and not able to cooperate with the rest of the team. they are all there to become a part of a boy group. that's literally an endless group project where you need to be in close proximity with your teammates 24/7. sounds like hell but as far as i know they all went there willingly.

mentioning annoying participants, it's time for the defenestration team, also known as the participants somebody should throw out of the window as the human garbage they are. the honourable members of this excellent team are the stealer team (except for ivan, ling qi and wooseok) and ksoul. the stealer team is here for obvious reasons. they are a bunch of xenophobic idiots. yes, if you're already debuted idol in korea and you can't speak korean at all - that would be a problem. but neither of the chinese boys was already debuted idols and they still have time to perfect their korean. they were just a bunch of insecure meanies who were jealous that some foreign kids were better than them. and with ksoul. god, i can't stand the kid. well....kid. uhm how old is he really? that's the real question here lmao. anyway, ksoul is an annoying, arrogant and self-centred jerk that does not have an ounce of will to cooperate in his body. that boy is not fit to be in a boy group consisting of 12 members. he needs to be permanently the centre of attention, being the best and not having any competition. having him in a team would be a punishment to the rest of the team.

other trainees i would love to talk about santa and yacht (no i will not call him yaya). wabi sabi what the actual fuck. why. i have so many questions. (ksoul immediately knowing who they are was the only funny thing ksoul did on that show). with santa, i kinda get it. he is good, his skills on the same level as some of the other trainees and there is a potential for him to blend together perfectly. but yacht? he is the oldest here and his skills are lacking in every way possible. i read somewhere that yacht is there just to accompany santa and that sounds about right to me. them leading the global voting even before the 1st ep airing just showed that having a solid fanbase (consisting mainly of bl fans) can do a lot. the ranking was not deserved at ALL, especially yacht's. (would also like to mention that being on a survival show and having to communicate constantly in a language you're not familiar with is hard and all the foreign trainees are brave for going for it. the stealer team situation just proves it. and the fact that they actually show it there is a miracle.)

right now (ep4) this is my top 12. surprisingly, after only 4 episodes, there are a lot of trainees that are a good choice for the debuting team. it's more about not letting the red flags (aka the defenestration team) debut and not giving them more attention than is necessary. top3 caught my attention during 1st episode (i knew junwon from &audition), the rest of them did great during the visual battle, especially jinho, seunghyun and myungjae.

okay that's it for now. can't believe i now need to watch eight (?) more episodes. i love to make myself suffer :))
