"SOMETHING sy and bingge" is a little one-shot I wrote where SY from syonr meets Bingge in a dream!

I think I can share the whole thing since I'm probably not gonna add anything to it- please forgive the nonexistent grammar, I'm too tired to fix it.

Shen Yuan wasn't aware that he wasn't simply dreaming. 

He might have been. 

If he hadn't left his system on silent, the notification of a brand new side quest would have been a giveaway. 

But as it stood now, he had no clue anything was amiss when the beautiful, dark-haired figure he only remembered from his fanmade posters back home stood in front of him.

Luo Binghe. 

It wasn't his Binghe, his friend was still shorter than him at this point and his demon heritage was still firmly locked away. The man in front of him was- Wow! Truly out of the final chapters of Proud Immortal Demon Way! 

Tall and Handsome, his curly dark hair cascading on his shoulders artfully and framing his face perfectly, letting his shiny zuiyin peek from behind his locks just enough to paint, overall, unfairly beautiful picture. 

No wonder every woman fell into the guy's bed! Who wouldn't?

Shen Yuan couldn't help a little squeal of excitement when he spotted Xin Mo– Xin Mo! Was in his hands! He could act a little excited about it, it was a dream after all! He didn’t have to hold back his inner fanboy 

“Can I hold Xin Mo?” He asked before Luo Binghe could say anything. 

Shen Yuan had paid no mind to how the man had been staring at him until then, his mind probably couldn't come up with more cool things to have this perfect copy of Binghe do. 

Just existing was cool enough!

But now that he was waiting for an answer he paid more attention to the movements of the demon emperor. Luo Binghe seemed startled by the request. He looked down at the sword, then back at Shen Yuan. 

“You know its name. “ He said. 

Shen Yuan scoffed and rolled his eyes. 

“Of course I know its name! It's the strongest sword in the world!” What sort of question was this? Brain please make the cool Binghe of his dreams not make dumb questions. 

Luo Binghe's eyes narrowed, then he stepped closer to Shen Yuan. 

He was huge compared to him in his stupid teen body. Shen Yuan might have stepped back if he were awake simply because Luo Binghe's presence was the sort that made you want to shrink back in fear. 

But it was only a dream! It was his favorite character in front of him, in all his glory! He couldn't help the grinning from ear to ear. 

Binghe seemed… confused by this. 

Shen Yuan hummed, still waiting for an answer. He thought, maybe this version of Binghe was slightly influenced by how he saw his own Binghe. This close up, If he looked at him right, with just a tilt of his head to the side he could spot tiny details this version of Binghe shared with his friend. 

Despite the age difference they made the same expression when they were confused, their eyebrows creased in the same way, their eyes darted to the side then back down like always. It made him smile more. 

“Do you know it's cursed? “ Luo Binghe asks. 

“Duh!” He has to roll his eyes again. Really, brain. What sort of questions are you making him ask? “ It's only a dream, what harm can it do?” He says instead. 

Binghe keeps staring at him but this time Shen Yuan is not able to read that expression, it's not like any his friend has shown before. Then a smile paints itself on the demon's face. 

“You can hold the sword if you answer some questions I have.” He says. 

Shen Yuan grimaces. Not even in his dreams can he just have a cool thing! Knowing his brain, Binghe is gonna ask him to recite that poem he's been struggling to copy down in calligraphy class. ugh. 

“Okay, but no questions on the curriculum!” 

Ah, there's that confused expression again. that's funny. 

Binghe clears his throat. 

“Are you Shen Jiu?”

Shen yuan blinks. Who's that supposed to be now? Ah, wasn't that Shen Qingqiu’s name before ascension? bah, it didn't matter!

 “No, That's Shizun. I'm Shen Yuan. Let me hold the sword now” He reached for the hilt but Binghe simply raised it out of his reach. Then he had the nerve to look amused. 

Look at you already abusing your height A-Luo! 

“I said questions.” He mocked. “Do you recognize me? You don't seem scared.”

What sort of interview was this? He crossed his arms. 

“How many questions? Give me a number!” He wasn't about to have his dream end before being able to hold the sword!

The demon smiled. “A thousand.”

“Eh?! That's so unfair, Binghe!” Shen Yuan cried “I'm gonna wake up before even reaching half of that! Heartless! “

The demon seemed even more amused at the teen's outburst. 

Then the hilt of Xin Mo was presented to Shen Yuan. 

He let out an undignified squeal again and reached for the sword. only to have it yanked back up before he could touch it again. 

Unfair!!! He was being bullied by the hot future version of his best friend!!! 

“I changed my mind, I don't want to hold Xin Mo.” He pouted. 

A small laugh left the demon emperor.

Luo Binghe was known across the three realms as the immortal demon emperor. 

He was known by now for taking what he wanted.

 In his search for his “Nice Shizun” he hadn’t thought he’d find so many different versions of him. Sometimes his nice shizun wasn’t his shizun at all. Sometimes it was a nice shishu, sometimes it was a nice stranger, sometimes it was a nice shidi.

This “Nice Shizun” seemed to be the main variant missing from his life, every other world he visited had some version of it, only his didn’t. 

Why, he couldn’t understand. But he wouldn’t wallow in how unfair his life was, he’d stopped doing that when he first hit the bottom of the abyss.

He just needed to find the perfect nice Shizun to steal for himself. Have another version of himself suffer like he did. it would only be fair. 

Maybe the nice Shidi could work.

Dropping Byler Evidence Every Day Until Season 5

. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁ Day 6: Parallels with Rovickie . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁

Other than the obvious one--being that Vickie has a boyfriend and Robin is jealous/ put between them--there are actually way more parallels to Rockie than I originally thought, which is why I decided to make a whole post about them!

Again, I'm gonna be stating how intentional I think each parallel is. Even if it's not intentional, it's still a proof because it's the fact they are using the same tropes for two pairings shows that they are both supposed to be seen as romantic.

1. Being Between Them

Very very intentional. The framing is the exact same except Robin is not blurred while Will is blurred. AND the fact that it's a queer character between a straight relationship as well what the actuallllll freak. The difference is the fact that Wills blurred but Robin isn't. Robin is shown to be miserable in this scene, while Will is actually happy in this scene because he is seeing El again.

2. Basically the same conversation

I also think this is kind of intentional, it's tooooo similar not to kind of be inspired by Mike's speech. Obviously, Mike is more of a main character than Vickie so I think that they decided to make her do the same thing as him because the writers see this situation as similar. It's also interesting that she, in this conversation, is talking about how much she should have broken up with her boyfriend earlier. Maybe that gives us a little insight into what Mike is feeling too :)))

ALSO ALSO the bit at the end where Vickie goes "sorry I am rambling while there are people suffering" is literally THE SAME as what Mike says when he goes "it's so stupid given everything that's going on", basically showing they both don't view their relationships as important.

3. The Gay Food Jokes

The 'try before you deny' joke is already kindofsus, but it can easily be argued against as just a little throw away line that is just meant to be a lil bit of banter. Then you see the way that Vickie says "I've made a peanut butter on peanut butter monstrosity" while both queer women are talking to each other. You see the way this kind of sounds similar to Mike going "That's blasphemous, putting fruit on pizza" before the people around him go "Try before you deny" like HAJHDGAJHSGD..... So they have the potential to make queer jokes do they??? Ones that are kind of subtle enough that only queer people pick up on them?? Yessir

4. The Same Look

I don't know if this is totally intentional but it's so perfect <3 Just two gays giving a little smile before looking away quickly teehee giggling kicking my feet.

5. 'Cool'.

Oh my god I literally yelled when I came across this while watching the scene, not expecting anything else to come up ADGAHJSDG

This is intentional to me. I think the way that the camera is right on Robin's face, the way she says the words, she just seems so IN LOVE and you can definitely see the same (if not more) in love look on Byler's faces when they say the same words. If you can see Robin saying this to Vickie as romantic and as evidence for reciprocated love, then you should definitely see the same for when Mike and Will both say it to each other.

Now that we have gotten confirmation that Robin, Vickie, Will and Mike will all be in the same scenes during season 5, I am even more excited for more parallels between two different flavours of queer couple living their best lives <3 thankyew

GUYS IVE DONE SO MUCH BYLER ANALYSIS TODAY HOLY FUCKING SHIT MY BRAIN IS FULLLL EVERYONE CLAP ME ON THE BACK AHDGAHSJGDHA

Less of a question but I was never an avid manga reader till 2019 and mha was the first manga I kept track of weekly, and I read Tokyo ghoul after it ended, and seeing everyone be dissatisfied with how Tokyo ghoul ended after keeping up weekly is something I’m reminded of after seeing the latest chapter of mha. So this is what it feels like to witness 6 years of a character you hold in high regard be undermined(to put it lightly). I’m rather sad, but I can’t help but feel fondness for shigaraki even if the way he ended wasn’t satisfying, how do u feel about how mha has gone?

Yeah it does feel very reminiscent of Tokyo Ghoul in that they just went "ah yes, killing the right people is actually how we solve world issues." Which I find morally reprehensible, but also genuinely bad writing because the story as a whole doesn't support this message.

@linkspooky explained in her meta yesterday why Deku has completely failed as a character, and why the manga has failed thematically as a story. I'm just gonna say I completely agree with Link.

To be fair, I'm not sure Shigaraki is dead dead, but either way, it's bad writing and it doesn't conclude his arc with any sort of satisfactory element. Like, why would Shigaraki see Deku as different than anyone else who tried to punch him? That's nonsensical and written from the POV of an audience, not from Shigaraki's POV. It's like in Star Wars when Rey calls herself "Rey Skywalker" when she knew Luke for 3 days and none of the people she was actually close to (Leia, Han, Ben) were Skywalkers. That's writing for the audience, with their perspective, ignoring the logic of your story. It defies believability because the character does not have that perspective. It's "forced" because the audience can see the hand of the author.

If Shigaraki is dead dead... Not gonna Star Wars this one again, but since I also hated the ending of The Rise of Skywalker, I must make a comparison. The idea that Deku may have saved Shigaraki's heart but couldn't save his body (which to be honest, nothing in the actual chapter supports, but if he stays dead might be the argument) is still bad writing. Why? Because to Shigaraki didn't even make the decision himself. He didn't sacrifice anything. How can his heart be saved if he had nothing to do with it? Saving an object is easy as pie. Saving a person is different, and that's what the whole story has been about. Like, in TROS, Kylo Ren gave his life for Rey! Was it stupid? Yes! But at least his "saved heart" did something. Shigaraki's saved heart did what exactly?

So then, is the message that Deku failed? Then why isn't it framed as a failure? Why was BNHA never set up to be a grimdark tragedy? If he failed, then shouldn't he have a miserable ending? Unless it's "heroes always become bad guys and life is unfair," but then shouldn't Deku be framed critically?

Basically, Horikoshi can't come back writing-wise from this in BNHA, and it's sad to see.

Horikoshi's biggest flaw throughout the entire story was that he kept flip-flopping on what he wanted to say, and made the characters more about his trying to please every single fan than about being, well, characters to explore important questions he has that are worthwhile. And you can do this while still having a "cool" factor!

Instead the characters tell us one thing while cocooning Deku in the sweet bliss that no one ever has on this earth--being 100% right all the time. And it's sad, because BNHA had so much potential as a story to challenge its audience and entertain too.

I thought even if it flopped in some aspects it'd at least get this right. It's disappointing.

Anyways every day that goes by I want to send Isayama and his editors flowers for actually writing a thematically coherent ending, even if some aspects were dropped or messy along the way.

I have a few predictions/possible stuff that could happen in Smg4 this year (or next) or just in general lol I need to think these lol

Smg4 might get some sort of villain arc or reveal he has issues with the events of IGBP or something and still feels guilty about it all. maybe even all the way back to WOTFI 2020. I just know he aint fine after all that, and there's proof Peaches castle bothered him right before the Puzzle Park song. Like YES Cannon Smg4 DOES have issues with that and isn't just 'fine' :)

There's some sort of like big character development arc in the background. Like Smg3 becoming good and overcoming the issues he has with Smg4 or something and ofc my favorite, Villan Smg4 (I like the idea a lot-)

IDK if any of you guys heard of the 'Shadow man' guy from a couple SMG4 videos, but I think he's going to be the next BEEEG Villan in the series (Like WOTFI25 stuff) Since I'm assuming Marty will be like the Spring and Summer arcs cuz he's been around. But the Shadow Man gives me Death from Puss in Boots vibes, since he's always in the background like him. But mainly he gives 'we're gonna get a mystery genre this year' or like magic or ghosts or something, cuz he's a ??? shadow guy. Seems like he'd be like a mystery genre kinda guy. im like, what, 10 years late to the whole walking dead game thing but i was way too young back then to understand the game. i hope people still enjoy it, its a really good game (and sad) but im only up to season 3 right now (i only really liked s1 and s2) but im not finished so i cant really make decisions rn

i just want to talk about ben rn and evaluate him cause im rewatching it and now that hes my favourite i notice more things about him now. (i literally look at him everytime hes in frame even if its just showing the back of his head oml)

but anyway i see a lot of ben hate and sure i get it but i dont at the same time ben is so silly how can u hate him

- to start, when we first met ben in the woods, he’d already been through some stuff, like he saw his classmate off herself and turn into a walker, his camp got raided and he was left with 1 friend and his teacher (who both still die btw) so most of what he had left before the apocalypse was gone

- when lee is rationing out the food, if he gives ben food first, kenny comes and tells lee that there��s kids that need food too, and ben literally is like ‘sorry i didnt want any trouble’ like cmon, and he’s literally a kid too he deserves the food as much as anyone else

- on the train he is interested in the controls and being up there, so we can see that he generally enjoyed it. but once lee gets the engine going, kenny comes and ben immediately has to go babysit katjaa clem and duck (he is also visibly upset) AND THEN later on lee asks how ben was doing and he says ‘im watching the girls and not working on a mega cool train’ (let him on the train immediately 😠😠)

- ok, so maybe he did sneak supplies to the bandits and i think this is just me being biased but i feel like him giving the supplies held off the bandits a little. i mean think about it, they moved on from the st john’s farm and started taking from the motel, right? im not sure how the bandits asked ben (if they made it clear then i forgot) but if he refused wouldnt the bandits come attack even earlier? i mean they needed the supplies right, and if ben didnt give them anything to begin with they would have raided the motel anyway. i mean they knew where they were even before the st john incident. idk its just a thought

- i think it was cool how ben managed to confess to lee that he was the one who slipped the bandits supplies. like you can tell ben is a good guy cause the guilt was almost literally eating him from the inside. and even though ben isnt one of the bravest people, he still confessed knowing that lee’s reaction wouldnt be pretty. (also his stance when leaning on the train railing was so silly to me)

- after they meet christa and omid, ben tells lee that his biggest fear was to be eaten by the walkers. i mean he literally said that if he got bitten he would off himself 😢😢

- also ben was always referred to as a child but he was never treated like one, everyone excpected him to be brave and strong but in reality he was just some scrawny highschool student who was scared and couldnt live up to his impossible standards. man, i really just wanna give ben a big hug

- if you tell ben to “kill anything that gets in” he responds with “you know you’re talking to me, right?” poor ben

- even though his biggest fear is getting eaten by walkers, you still have the option to leave him behind, and let him go at the bell tower. i mean how could u do this to him hes already gone through enough

- lastly, the part where ben tells off kenny is literally iconic, that scene singlehandedly made ben one of my favourite characters of all time, i was like everyone else, i didnt care about ben because i thought he was a bad guy since i never really payed attention to him. but i swear when he was telling kenny off it felt like i was being told off too. i mean his point was valid too, kenny had his family to say goodbye to, and ben (and literally everyone else) never got to see their family, (or they saw them as walkers, lee and clem,, :( )

for animation tips i, personally, use 24 fps (though everyone has their preferences :3) this is because you can choose your speed, its like having a selection box

you can do something called animating on ones where you make a new drawing every single frame, this is good for super fast movements, or for super smoothness :D! 2’s are my go to, its a new drawing every 2 frames, so it’s like animating on 12 fps! The reason i dont just animate on 12 fps is that i like to be able to switch between speeds and smoothness (i also animate on 3’s, 4’s, 5’s ect)

Ontop of this, when a character is coming to a stop, add some extra frames at the end for smoothness. when a person stops moving they don’t abruptly stand still but will cary on moving slightly, easing into their stopping motion (this speed will obviously vary depending how quick the person stops moving etc)

if you want a visual example, move your hand upwards at an average speed, you’ll see it goes up but slightly comes back down to a stop! If you do it quickly it kinda looks bouncy right? You can do this with all sorts of objects for learning too, like fabric.

I also like to do something called anticipation, where a character will do a secondary movement before their primary one! Basically, say you threw an orange at wall or something (go with it), your secondary movement would be reeling your arm back before your primary movement where you throw it at the wall! This gives a sense of power and authenticity to the throw, otherwise the character looks super strong like really like “make bad guys cry just by looking at them” sorta strong… maybe not that strong.

At the end, i like to redraw my last frame, just so that continued movement doesn’t look too rigid :D

The best way you can learn is to look at how things move and how they look when doing certain things; people, objects, animals everything :D art and animation are more than just drawings or cool stories and visuals, its also the understanding of the world around you and its so worth it learning animation because you can see the world in a whole new light, its pretty awesome :D!

other more generalised tips that im going off on a tangent here cause its my fixation is that if you’re doing a big animation project storyboard it ppLLEAAAaseee, i never used to and id run out of ideas for scenes and lose enthusiasm and it was like AAAAAAAA. For personal projects or behind the scenes that only i need to be able to understand or decipher ill story board onto my sketchbook rather than doing a polished storyboard cause its quicker and only you really need to understand it :D

I Saw the TV Glow

i was not kidding when i said this movie changed my life its been over 6 months since i saw it and im still thinking about it literally all the time. im considering getting a tattoo???? anyways if u are trans (or even if ur not actually. go enjoy cinema) please watch this. u will feel so so so so different. forever.

Late Night with the Devil

i still think this movie was lame as hell for that AI shit but ive been thinking about it a lot this year. having a 'lost special' / 'found footage' film about the behind the scenes material of a set being terrorized by the occult becuz their host sucks ..... it was cool ! just sucks about the AI thing. hopefully david dastmalchian gets other bigger projects

Marvel Rivals (2024)

in a year where apex sucks absolute bootywater, and i needed a new shooter the most, marvel rivals came to me. and this time, if the lore sucks, most of the characters have decades worth of comic history to look into! hurray

Mouthwashing (2024)

im giving mouthwashing my fav game of the year award. theres just so much to say about it and i dont think ill ever have time to articulate it all. its just so mundanely horrifying beneath the flashing lights and body horror. and i think that really, really helps it stand out, as well as having a strong visual identity with these ps2-ass graphics and the way certain interactions are framed with cinematic intent in mind. theres so many deeply haunting moments in this game that arent even necessarily borne from the true horror stuff like the gore and the nightmare sequences. theres a reason that so many people have drawn art to represent that dead pixel

The Wild Robot

i thought this movie was just kind of delightful, a very pleasant experience. not particularly deep but i dont think it needs to be. lupita nyong'o i love you

Night in the Woods (2017)

so i've tried playing nitw like twice before and i could just never really stick it out. both first playthroughs i think i made it as far as day 3 when you have to decide whether to start hanging out with bea or gregg and then for some reason i was just never interested enough to go back and finish the game. but this year i decided i was gonna, and not only that, but i ended up 100%'ing the game! i can see why so many people fell in love with it and there are several moments i think about a lot, particularly mae meeting 'god' and everything with germ becuz i like him :)

Young Woman and the Sea

i kinda had to sit and go damn would this movie really make my top 7? and i decided yeah. it would. i really enjoyed it. it's just a solid entertaining time. i even learned a little something. it's not often that happens xp

Slay the Spire (2017)

so like nitw, i have played slay the spire before, but i never really was too deep into it? this year, however, i GOT into slay the spire, and man i am not looking forward to when my job starts back up and i sink another 40 hours into this thing out of boredom. it consumed my life. just one more run....

no this question is awesome but i’m INCREDIBLY torn between a few different things so i’m gonna share like 3 things 😭 for the purpose of making this interesting i will not include plushies since i have a lot of those in here and that’s too easy of an answer

first off is this kaf/u keychain - technically it’s attached to my purse (my purse is also kaf themed btw lol) but i don’t leave my house that often and it’s usually in my room so i think it counts. it was a birthday present from someone extremely important to me - he made the art for it and had it custom printed and cut and everything! the kafu is specifically drawn to look like how i draw her (you can tell by the robot hands) and overall i am just extremely sentimental about this gift, it’s one of my favorite things i’ve ever received from anyone ever and has more meaning behind it than appears on the surface

following on the gift trend, my sibling got me this custom figurine YEARS ago - it’s handmade and it’s of an old pokesona of mine back when i was a more active pokemon furry. i don’t even use this guy as a sona anymore but it’s from my sibling and it was so thoughtful and it’s honestly just such a cool piece of art, like the style is super cool and it’s obviously unique to one of my characters and i just think that’s awesome

and lastly, right now it’s Still sitting in the envelope to keep it safe because i Still haven’t gotten a frame for it, but i have kaf’s signature in sharpie on this letter here - back when she graduated high school there was a whole virtual concert and celebration and you could pay a little extra on merch to get this signed by kaf (it’s a letter talking about graduating and thanking her fans and whatnot) and i just feel incredibly blessed to have been there for that and own this, i’m very sentimental about kaf in 2022

dd wit cat traits are so cool but you guys are limiting yourself. need me some weird fucked up bird dds . also bat solvers is so cool FLESHY WINGS KICK ASS but what if solver wings were. well for one what if they had weird pinfeathers like they were constantly molting BUT. getting offtrack but i think solver drones are exploited by the solvers to physically suit the host's strengths and weaknesses . dont know enough about nori & yeva yet to deduce whay theyd be like but. uzi shares most of the dd traits, wings, tail, and considering maid v. presumably the claws. i think the solver would look at doll & how she behaves and go Nah that wont cut it. instead of bat wings i think she would get fucked up bug wings. sort of like beetle wings, but with thick plating to work as defense because as shown in promening she knows jack shit about actual physical combat instead resorting on her powers. going by my hc that wd have three-fingered secondary arms & nori and yeva planned to have uzi and dolls frames built to like. best deal with the solver. i think doll would originally have had like. fully developed secondary arms (for more complex glyphs) before her parents DIED and she had to start updating her frame herself (aka stealing the parts of drones she killed Yay) IM GETTING OFF TRACK THO uzi is like a weird bat bird beast while doll is a fucked up beetle roach thing. i dont think dolls. Solver Form would have a tail solely because. im a sucker for short-tailed beasts representing "docked" parts better suited for fighting. OH MY GOD hold on ok im getting so offtrack but guys doll is so cool . her kill count is almost certainly not even remotely close to v's but theres something so wild to me about "the desire for revenge against my parents' murderer is so strong that along the way i became something similar to her." like you know. solver drone. oil. I love all of them! But here I'll share a few that really stood out to me! -The Julia one I mentioned before!: "I just….. I am love her. I was SO happy when she was introduced. Her first episode is my comfort media. Autistic representation where it isn’t framed as a bad thing is SO rare in children’s media, and “she does things a little bit differently, in a Julia sort of way” made me CRY. She is so much like me and she makes me so happy. The happy flaps when I saw her on the Sesame Street float at the Macy’s parade nearly hurt my wrist I was so happy. She is the best girl and deserves the best. Her puppet was designed to have a set of arms specifically so that she can stim, and she has a comfort toy like I do and doesn’t like the way paint feels like I don’t and loves to sing like I do and gets overwhelmed by sirens like I do and I just love her SO MUCH. (I didn’t link a picture because there are so many good ones! I like the one where she is looking at a feather, and also the one from the cover of the picture book she initially appeared in <3)" -Audrey II: "want to preface: either the stage version or the '86 movie version works, as both are portrayed by puppets! although neither is canonically a puppet in the story. i couldn't tell from the rules if this was disqualifying or not. BUT if i could get a word in for the movie Audrey II: WHAT A GORGEOUS PUPPET… or should i say SERIES of PUPPET/ANIMATRONIC HYBRIDS! there's somewhere in the ballpark of a dozen Twoies in the film to represent the different growth stages of the plant. they're all beautifully painted with vibrant detail, perfectly matching the high camp tone & setting! the mechanics of the puppet are also intricate and innovative; especially the MOUTH those lip syncs are so accurate and expressive! the largest puppets were actually so heavy that in order to remain accurate to the audio, they had to be operated along to the tracks and filmed at half speed, then sped up in editing… which means that when the actors appear with the plant in those scenes, they're ALSO performing at half speed! the stage play versions are (by necessity) less technical than these puppets, which were fabricated by the Jim Henson company btw, but lots are still really cool; a unique standout is the one from the Pasadena Playhouse production! whew. all this and i didnt even talk about the character… Audrey II is an alien plant that was beamed down to Earth and wants to take over the world. it sings some catchy songs about that. they can fit so much queercoding and slay into this plant. it's a girlboss it's a drag queen it manipulated a young man into committing several murders. we stan." -Spamton: "Hee heehee I am so obsessed with this silly puppet guy. I love how he went from an absolute snazzy lil salesman dude with his red tux, and just gradually turned into a complete disaster of himself. I like how little detail is actually shared about his past, so you're left to wonder if he was actually brought down by circumstances out of his control, or if he brought his failures upon himself and just doesn't want to accept that. I want to give him a hug and he would no doubt try to bargain for my soul in the process"

Chapter 1:

not a full fan of the new art style but not a hater either

can't forgive them for taking away my troll clown though

also the voice, dunno, maybe I'm remembering the voice wrong in past seasons but yeah, not for me (especially when he says "eins, zwei, drei" I just feel like is the wrong tone)

also, I love the pace of the chapter but am really bitter that they cut the bestism (Angel & Lightning) first show time together so short

THE GEHENNA SCENE WAS SOOOOOO, loved the light hint to trigger response from Rin

the founding members of toman including chifuyu, takemichi, nahoya and souya, with the exception of mikey, were on their way to the temple when they stopped by a convenience store beforehand to buy some snacks and ice cold beverages for the meeting because it happened to be a humid day. they weren't even wearing the jackets of their gang uniforms and were already gulping down the drinks they bought for themselves.

"why the fuck is it so hot today?" baji complained before taking big gulps of pepsi.

"i have no idea. let's just hurry up." draken let out a sharp exhale of breath as he used one of the flyers from the convenience store as a fan. not even the air conditioner in the store was enough to cool them down from the heat outside.

"oi, don't eat up all the snacks! we haven't gotten to the temple yet." mitsuya scolded pah, who was already opening a third bag of the snacks they had just bought.

"can't we stay here a bit longer?" takemichi inquired with a small pout, drinking a can of iced coffee along with chifuyu.

chifuyu shook his head, sighing. "we still need to attend the meeting though."

"we should go. mikey's probably waiting for us already." nahoya interjected, causing all of the toman members to groan but reluctantly comply.

everyone took their drinks and snacks with them and got up from their seats to exit the convenience store when takemichi, all of a sudden, let out a surprised scream, which instantly alerted the rest and made them jump back from the glass door.

"oi! what the hell are you screaming for?!" an agitated pah angrily scowled at the poor blue-eyed blonde boy.

baji was now holding takemichi by the throat as a nerve irked on his temple from annoyance. "you scared us! don't scream like that!'

as takemichi blubbered out words none of them could make out, souya had decided to speak for him upon seeing who was right outside the convenience store.

"isn't that [name]? mikey's girlfriend?"

chifuyu furrowed his brows along with the other members. "[name]-san?"

right outside, they spotted you dressed in casual attire, literally hugging a tall boy with black disheveled hair and dark blue eyes. the way you embraced him, with you rubbing your cheek against his chest and arms wrapping tightly around his torso—it didn't take long for the entirety of toman to scream in a panic, reacting the same way takemichi had acted.

after getting scolded and apologizing to the convenience store staff for screaming their lungs off, everyone continued to watch as the unfamiliar man returned your embrace with a much bigger one before ruffling your hair affectionately, prompting you to smile at him rather fondly.

the boy who was definitely taller than mikey might be cute and handsome looking and all, especially with the way his hair framed his face, which they all agreed on, but you had mikey.

"how can this be?" chifuyu was in a state of shock. his mouth was in agape, and his pupils had all shrunk.

nahoya quipped, snapping his fingers. "maybe it's [name]'s brother?"

"[name]'s only brother is megumi, and that guy looks nothing like megumi." draken swallowed thickly, shaking his head at smiley. "nor [name]'s yuuji-nii."

"there must be a misunderstanding. [name] wouldn't cheat on mikey. [name] loves mikey." mitsuya exclaimed in an attempt to lighten the rising tension in the atmosphere.

"then, explain why the hell is [name] being so lovey-dovey with that guy?" pah raised a brow.

"i don't know! maybe, they're just friends?" mitsuya sweatdropped, raising his hands in the air defensively.

"nah, i call bullsh!t. that is it, we're going to follow [name] and that guy!" baji exclaimed, which the toman members agreed on, except for draken and especially mitsuya, who refused to believe that was really the case.

they had no choice but to follow the guys and eventually forget about the gang meeting.

once you and the boy left and walked away from the front of the convenience store, they had finally exited, but not until mitsuya and draken had to apologize again for their screaming and brash actions earlier. all of them trailed after you two and skillfully hid behind posts, advertisement signs, and alleyways, which definitely earned them odd and strange stares from people who passed by them.

as the two of you walked, you suddenly took hold of his arm and linked yours around his, which baji and chifuyu immediately reacted to by snapping a picture using their phones, and almost panicked with the rest because they both had their flashes on.

"you idiots! are you trying to get us all caught?!" draken scolded the first division captain and vice-captain.

"we're trying to get evidences!" baji argued, showing the pictures he snapped and pulling chifuyu to his side.

mitsuya's eye twitched at the two, "with the flash on?"

fortunately, you were too busy with your new lover to notice their antics from behind, or even sense their presence at all. everyone gasped when you held onto his arm and closed the distance between the two of you. it made toman want to scream so badly. in fact, baji and chifuyu were so ready to square you up at this point, but they happened to learn something interesting as they caught wind of your conversation with him.

"how's miguel-san and the other sorcerers in africa?" you inquired.

"same old, he's still strict about my training, which is why it's nice to be back here. i haven't seen you in a long while nor gojo-sensei and the others." at that point, everyone's heads went static. everything became an error.

"holy crap, he's sorcerer—a jujutsu sorcerer." takemichi pointed out the obvious.

"and they've been seeing each other for a while now too." souya said in addition.

"[name]'s dad knows him? oh, crap." baji's eyes went wide as he pieced together the information. "is that why he refused to let [name] be with mikey?"

"this is bad! this is bad!" takemichi was already panicking so badly, he was already coming up with an exaggerated scenario of mikey fighting the guy with you, who they now know is a jujutsu sorcerer, inside his head.

"oi! oi! they're getting away!" pah got everyone's attention. "quick!"

toman continued to follow you two until you entered a cafe, which draken recognized as the cafe you and mikey would eat at. the thought of you taking someone else here for a date made him so disappointed in you. before chatting, the two of you ordered some iced coffee and sweets. everything seemed to be going just fine until they saw the brunette take a small, black box from his pocket and open it for you, causing you to stare in awe with a smile. everyone's mouths dropped to the floor.

"HE'S PROPOSING TO [NAME]! EVERYONE MOVE! MOVE!" takemichi panicked, holding the side of his head before pointing an index finger at you and him from outside.

at that instant, toman burst inside the cafe, which scared the other customers dining inside. the hinges of the cafe doors almost broke from their immense strength. they stomped towards you, holding an angry and betrayed look. you stared at each and everyone with wide eyes, along with your company.

you asked, now holding a confused look. "guys? what are you doing here?"

"um, y-you know these guys?" everyone glared daggers at the guy you were with. their lethal gaze caused him to yelp and hold a look of fright.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO MIKEY-KUN, [NAME]?!"

with that, takemichi burst into tears as he outraged, which deeply confused you. in fact, all of their reactions confuse you.

"how could you bring him to the café where you and mikey would date? furthermore, let this guy propose to you while you're with mikey." draken's face faltered into a frown.

"what are you guys talking ab—as they continued to cause a commotion inside the café, another presence entered in the same manner they had stormed in. everyone, including you and your company, turned their heads to see toman's one and only infamous, invincible mikey, sauntering towards all of you.

toman screamed in a panic, especially takemichi who was crying his lungs out at this point, was absolutely petrified at the expression looming over his face.

"this is it, everything is done for." takemichi sobbed, shaking his head repeatedly as he clasped his hands together to pray. "our future is done for!"

everyone gulped as mikey began, "you.."

as everyone prepared for the fight of the century between a gang leader and a jujutsu sorcerer, mikey turned his attention towards toman instead of you and your company, and snapped.

"why the hell are you guys here? i've been waiting for hours. mucho and sanzu are the only division captains that showed up at the temple!" mikey yelled.

"ha? why are you shouting at us? we were following [name]!" baji retorted back.

mikey's tone dropped into a much calmer tone as he raised a brow. "why are you guys following [name]?"

"have you gone dumb or something? [name]'s cheating on you with that guy!" baji pointed an accusing finger at you and your company.

"ha? what are you guys talking about? yuta is one of [name]'s older brother figures."

just like that, the tables turned. it was toman who had gone dumb as they muttered a "mikey knows yuta?" in unison. there was suddenly a pin drop silence in the atmosphere afterwards, and then came awkwardness.

"...then, why is he holding a box out to [name]-san?" chifuyu blinked profusely.

"eh? this? it's my birthday gift and souvinir to [name]" yuta, the handsome man they now know, turned to toman and showed him the bracelet he had been meaning to give you.

"birthday? oh crap." baji's eyes widened as he and everyone else remembered the exact date today.

"the reason i was holding a meeting early was so [name] could spend time with her older brother, who had just come back from africa." mikey explained briefly, dark eyes slightly narrowing at the thought of them assuming such a thing about you.

"did you guys seriously think yuta-nii and i were together?" with that, you brought the palm of your hand to your face.

takemichi, chifuyu, baji, souya, nahoya, pah, draken and mitsuya nervously laughed as they avoided your now glowing red eyes.

"happy birthday, [name]..."

the next turn of events that followed suit ended up with you and everyone getting kicked out of the café for the commotion, toman endlessly uttering apologies to you and yuta, on their knees, as you and mikey held a look of disappointment together at them.
