To be honest all started when I discovered fanfiction existed, I didn't know that was a thing, I had 35 years old and was the first time I heard about fanfics. I started reading, became obsessed, created a tumblr account, the fandom was so active, so alive!!! Everyone was contributing, reacting, it was so wonderful, I felt I also wanted to contribute somehow, and I did a drawing here, another there, people freaked out, even if I cringe with my old fanart now, and everything went too fast, I had so much fun that I started drawing almost daily and posting here, IG etc. that was 2015. I remember my first drawing posted here was a Mayim portrait I did because I needed to calm down because my father in law was in the hospital for a heart attack (he is fine now), and that calmed me, drawing, I was like in a 10 years pause of drawing anything, when it was a passion I had before. So everything scaled from there. People requested me drawings, I enjoyed drawing for fanfic authors. Some people took advantage of me tho... but aside of that it was super fun. Also we got the Shamy break up so the fandom was exploding with everything! I remember working 9-5 job, going to training (I was in a roller skating team that competed internationally) and finishing at almost midnight and THEN was when I drew portraits. I finished at 3-4am and tried to sleep. or read some fics. I was too obsessed.

When the proposal happened, and it was hiatus, I read some fics, nobody told the version I was thinking of, so I wrote mine. And that was the starting of writing.

And now I want to do comics or fanficomics, tell my stories in drawings. and I hope there's still people who would like to see those,, because everything had changed so much in the fandom... but I'm glad there's still people around enjoying my drawings and fics!!!

And I've started to see some Shamy fanart around here that I've been enjoying so so much, so keep an eye to my reblogs! I thought the fandom was quite dead in terms of fanart, at least the ones I knew from years ago that drew tbbt fanart stopped doing it, I didn't see a lot of stuff on instagram, here I was a little disconnected due motherhood so forgive me if there were artists active and I didn't see them.

So happy to see new (for me) artists posting more tbbt and Shamy fanart!

sometimes it hits me how much i love drawing and even tho i complain a lot abt it and it takes a loooong timr and looking at old drawings is awful and drawing is hard it has also helped me with so much stuff and even tho im not perfect i could never be as happy as i am now if i didnt draw those cringy fanarts of team rocket back in 2018 😭

okay so marius we can get out of the way fuckin immediately. hes an artist and painter and studied in florence, this dude DEFFO draws so good and skillfully.

canon hasnt really told us (yet) details as to what his Exact Style is but his painting alterego Z has been described as an impressionist painter who has an exquisite sense of color and mood. ive seen a tiny smidge of marius' anniversary card where hes sketching and he does seem to go for a quite realistic style.

so i think if he were to sketch a dog, he'd go for something like this. realistic with the impressionism's focus on light and shadows (source)

i had a hard time with bc thus far i havent seen any mention of him doing visual arts yet (i have not yet played his card stories, IM SORRY VYN, I KNOW, IVE BEEN NEGLECTING U). but based on his vibes, i think he'd be pretty good!! like it's not gonna win him awards but he can easily pick out the most important features of what hes drawing

artem is where things start getting hilarious. several stories have mentioned him being VERY BAD AT ALL KINDS OF ART. buuuut in SR Fixated On You he facepaints a really cute pumpkin on mc's face!!! mc herself says it's adorable!!! what on earth happened here, i thought you were shit at art, artie?

well [spoilers for that card] at the end of the story it is revealed that he practiced drawing that pumpkin OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. he had a STACK OF SKETCHES and with each sketch he had noted down his improvements and he used references and i genuinely want to fucking cry, artem is so earnest and he wants to do things right but //holds his face gently. JUST DRAW A SHITTY PUMPKIN, IT'S OKAY, EVERYBODY WILL LOVE IT!!!!

but yeah, if artem had to draw a dog he'd ask for a reference image before starting.

A classmate had once mistaken a horse he drew for a pig in art class..."

which. luke pearce how did u fuck up THAT BADLY??? LMAO??? it's very cute tho bc mc says that since she's seen so many of luke's doodles (he always draws on the holiday cards he sends her, i am going to burst into TEARS) she can easily tell what hes drawing.

but for non-mc people. uh. well. if luke fucked up a horse to be a pig, i can assume that at the very least, he gets the number of limbs correct. and everything else just gets so vague that it could be anything that shares the general shape of what hes drawing

Saturday nights were usually family game nights where you and Tom would take your time off from work to spend time with Nathan and Nailah playing games as per their choice. Tonight they had decided to play pictionary for which Tom had set up a white board in the middle of the living room.

“Ok let me just state out the rules first” you announced standing near the board as Tom went and sat down on the couch with Nate and Leah “there are going to be two teams”

“Mommy is going to be in my team!” Nathan shouted instantly which made you and Tom break into a laugh.

“What about me bud?” Tom asked, pouting his lips.

“Uhh…” Nate looked at him thoughtfully before shaking his head “no only mommy”

“You’re breaking my heart now little man” he said dramatically, placing his hand on his chest.

“You can be in my team daddy” Leah chirped.

“Oh thank you love, at least my princess loves me” Tom pulled her in his lap, pressing a soft kiss on her cheek as she erupts into giggles

“Stop being so jealous, Tom. My baby boy just loves his mom a little more than his dad” you shrugged nonchalantly.

“Yeah I can see that” he chuckled lightly as you resumed to explain the rules.

“Ok, moving on. I’m keeping the cards with the words written on it over here” you said placing a deck of cards on the coffee table “each team will get three minutes to draw and guess the correct answer. Max points are ten whichever team gets it first is the winner. The team to go up first will be decided by rock, paper and scissors. Leah, Nate come over here” you instructed as both of them got off the couch and stood in front of you.

“Rock, paper, scissors!” they recited tapping their little fists against their palms before throwing their fists open. Leah had thrown a rock and Nate a scissor so clearly Leah won.

“See, we are already winning,” Tom commented.

“Ok Leah you go first” you told her and went to sit on the couch. Nailah picked up a card from the stack and drew a decent picture of the given word on the board with a marker.

“It’s a tree!” Tom exclaimed, his face beaming with excitement. This is why you loved game night. It brings out the inner child of your husband while playing with the kids.

“Correct daddy!” Leah clapped her hands in joy.

“And we got the first point as well” Tom bragged and turns to Nate “think again buddy you might wanna be on the winning side”

“No I'll be with mommy” he nuzzled into you as you chuckle, running your fingers through his soft brown curls.

“You’re really a mama’s boy,” Tom smiled, shaking his head.

“Takes one to know one” you teased

“Hey I wasn’t a mama’s boy!” he retorted.

“Oh please, your mom told me everything. How you used to run to her for every little thing” you snickered.

“That’s absolutely not true,”

“Ok we can discuss it later on, let's focus on the game for now. Nate it’s your turn” you said as Nate ran to pick a card and began to draw on the board. He drew two squares which you roughly figured out to be a book.

“Is it a book?” you said with a little uncertainty in your voice.

“Yes it is!” he confirmed with a bright smile.

After a few rounds your team was currently at 8 points whereas Tom’s was at 9. Tom was standing near the board as he picked up a card and looked at the word. After giving a little thought he drew three zzZ increasing in size from small to big. Leah looked at it with furrowed eyebrows, trying to figure out what her dad drew on the board.

“It is the letter Z,” she said after some time.

“No, think again Leah it’s easy”

“Buzzing of honeybees?” she guessed.

“C’mon love, think a little harder. If you get this we will get 10 points and win the game” Tom encouraged her.

“Hurry up guys only 30 seconds more” you reminded them looking down at your watch.

“I don’t understand daddy,” she huffed, pouting with a frown on her face.

“Ok time’s up” you said.

“The word was sleep” Tom sighed in disappointment.

“Seriously, you think a five year old can understand what a bunch of floating Zs mean?” you scoffed and walked up to the board.

“How will I know that?!”

“Ok it’s my turn now move” you shooed him away and picked up a card. You then went to draw a circle with tiny triangles inside it and Nate was quick to figure it out.

“Chocolate chip cookies! My favourite!” he shrieked out in excitement.

“That’s absolutely correct bubs” you smiled and with that you scored another point which led to a tie between your teams with equal points.

“Since both the teams are now at a tie with 9 points respectively so in this last round only a single word will be drawn on the board whoever guesses the correct answer first is the winner” you declared and walked back over to sit beside Tom. Nate picked up a card and showed it to Leah as she turned around and quickly drew a small oval on the board.

“That’s a golf ball!” Tom blurted out without a second thought.

“No daddy!”,"That’s not a golf ball!” you and Leah said unanimously when it suddenly struck you.

“Oh, oh it’s an egg! It’s an egg!” you exclaimed with a high pitched voice.

“Mommy is correct,” Leah remarked.

“What?! That doesn’t look like an egg!” Tom argued.

“Now don’t be a sore loser Tom, no golf ball on earth is oval in shape” you chided.

“Yay mommy we won!” Nate came running and climbed up your lap throwing his hands around you in a hug.

“Yes we did honey” you caressed the back of his head lovingly, planting a kiss on his forehead.

“Next time I’ll have mommy in my team” Leah pouted with a grumpy face.

“Aww peanut don’t worry we will surely win the next time” Tom placed a hand on her shoulder reassuringly.

“No mommy always wins, you suck” she grimaced.

“What?” Tom looks at her amused.

“Wait a minute, where did you learn that from?” you raise an eyebrow looking at her with a questioning gaze.

“I-I heard uncle Haz yesterday telling daddy that he sucks at football. Am I in trouble mommy?” Leah fidgeted with her fingers, looking at you innocently with her big brown eyes as you softened your expression.

“No sweetie you are not” you reached out a hand to gently cup her cheek “just don’t say that to anyone else because it’s a bad word ok?”

“Yes, sorry mommy” she mumbled.

“It’s ok baby I’m not angry with you don't worry” you reassured her “but I think I need to have a serious chat with your uncle Haz about the language he has been using around the kids”

im still very self-conscious about my ranting but i have talked about them and drew about some of my thoughts before

but i just rlly like thinking that the survivors are now a big big camp where they all live together but before they were scattered around in teams of 2 or more across the different worlds (mostly, teams that are complete opposites and before best friends or family)

the twins and Wes is another one, i haven't talked about this one in detail yet but their dynamic s one of my favorites to draw and im gonna span on it a lil more clearly on a fanfic Im writing. it was the twins who did the adopting on this one

Webs and Wilson is an easy common one but with the new backstory of Webs having a science dad i think he would attach to Wilson like a puppy which the spider hater man would not be a fan of but soon enough has adopted this enthusiastic nice kid as his protege (son)

Wes and Wilson team met officially after Wendy and Webs find each other and become friends

Willow and Wick/erbottom is another one i have talked about here too but that post is not tagged so. but basically its a Willow with this hate for grannys (memories from the place she grew up in) and Wickerbottom at first just caring about just 'tolerating' each other and surviving. but again, adoption happens

before u ask, i haven't thought too deeply about the other ones

but i do think that Wal/ani and Warly are close friends and that wheeler and wilbur would make a fun team, like an adventurer and pet sidekick kind of thing

THEY DID SO WELL! I was slightly worried for like the whole pause period but they also handled that so well, pink parrots winners of my heart pov!! I miss the blade man already but it was really fun, I'm happy they also seemed to have fun besides the 2 points thing lol BUT UR ART !! SO PRETTY, I always get like this boost of energy whenever u post monochromatic art 👉👈 so prettie i lov 👉👈 ur grian remains the cutest thing ever we love it!

now back to the dsmp talk I left u on lol I always tought c!tommy was that kind of guy that considered ppl family but I really thought it stopped at tubbo, wilbur and ranboo. If u think about it, he and c!techno really have a long story (more than techno and wil) so it isn't that weird. Sure is metagaming but I don't mind these coming from the ccs tbh LMAO but c!techno and c!tommy have a interesting chemistry for me,, like, everybody with techno but really!! I like they are lowkey in bad terms but they are still okay with each other being around or whatever. Personality wise (more like ambition/inspiration driven wise idk), I just think they are too much alike to completely hate each other. Idk maybe I just miss 4/4 and I'm the one metagaming now but whatever. I love them, all rights to bedrock duo my beloved. Also, I too prefer the scripted streams bc they seem to have a reeeally good grasp at what to improvise and what should follow the script. Again, I'm not good at recognizing tones when they speak and if it's different or not so maybe that's why but idk, I love it. And winged phil is my favorite thing ever and the fact everybody accepted that is just so good. It makes such an interesting bg besided drawing winged characters IS REALLY NICE. I love ur idea of the big and small wings being related to their age, even though I'm still not one hundred percent sure if wilbur's are smaller than it should be or if just stopped growing after he died. I have so many thoughts about mumza these past few weeks but I'll share then once I think properly about it lol but PLEASE tell me about the possessed theory and Quackity!! I don't think I ever saw it! 🧨

pink parrots my absolute beloveds!!! i hope we will get some variation of this team in the future cause i enjoyed their interactions so much! honestly it might be my favorite mcc that i watched. and god i love using limited colors in my art so thank you!!!

and i agree! c!tommy is definitely the kind of character that considers the people close to him as family and i definitely prefer that approach over him being actually related to other characters. and the current state of bedrock bros is so interesting. like they both ended up hurting each other due to lack of communication multiple times but i feel like there's just this bit of care still there that stops them from absolutely hating each other? idk c!tommy definitely still cares quite a bit but that's just the nature of his character in general. as for the wings! i draw c!wilbur's so small primarily because i saw a picture of a baby crow and was enlightened sgdhjd but then i started thinking more about c!phil being Old and how that longevity could be passed down to his son and then i thought hey wouldn't it be sad if c!wilbur could live for hundreds of years but died before even turning thirty? and then it all got tied up nicely with the headcanon that the wings grow slowly over time because i think c!phil with huge wings is very cool. i like to think it would take like a hundred years to be actually able to start flying. and for wilbur's wings a little hc that i briefly drew out is that the right one got damaged in the final control room so it just stopped growing since then. and aaah the possession theory!! basically after c!quackity ate c!schlatt's heart he suddenly wanted to bring him back to life and in later streams there were some moments that led to theorizing that schlatt was possessing him in some way. it didn't go anywhere since early new l'manburg but i really liked the theory and i keep thinking back to it so might as well fuck around and add a nod to it in my chara design lol

It was just the normal thing for you to do at this point, ever since you'd had an art project that you used the Volleyball group as your focus for.

Tsukishima had shrugged you off at first, not seeing the point

“You want to come watch a group of sweaty boys play multiple rounds of volleyball for nothing other than to stop the excessive whining of Hinata?”

its like he’s genuinely confused about why even though you told him about your art project

“Please Tsuki! I already told my teacher that I was going to use your club as my focus!”

he just stood there smirking at you, of course he was going to take you to the club so you could do your art project. He wanted you to do well but he couldn’t just let this opportunity for teasing pass him by. looking down at you, he simply tilts his head, feigning innocence

“If youre going to act like this, i’ll just have to swtch to the basketball team.” Tsuki legit glares at the wall for a full minute before grabbing your wrist, albeit gently yet still firmly as he drags you to go meet Yamaguchi so you three could head to the gym

you grin because: V I C T O R Y

when you meet up with Yamaguchi, Tsukishima keeps his hand on your wrist, not minding showing PDA in front of his friend. Yamaguchi smiles upon spotting you two, setting up to walk on the other side of you

“Y/n! you're coming to practice?”

you nod and grin, patting your art bag, “You guys are going to be the focus of my art for the next week!”

Yamaguchi blushes and immediately goes all shy baby because someone is possibly going to be drawing him??? his heart will die just from nervousness

“Only if you want to though!”

that calms him down as the three of you get to the club, getting changed (in your respective changing rooms smh we’re children of God) and heading into the gym.

Tsuki simply nodded at you before going to the rest of the team, but you didn;t mind because you knew he didn’t want to have to deal with Tanaka and Noya which wasn’t an option anyway

“OOOOOO TSUKKKIIIII YOUR GIRLFRIEND HERE TO SEE YOU PLAY HUH!?”

“THIS DOESN’T MEAN WE’LL GO EASY ON YOU PUNK!”

“I mean just play like normal, that’s easy enough.”

“WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?”

You just have to laugh and set up next to Ukai, Kiyoko and Takeda.

It wasn’t long until you started drawing, smiling as you watched the expressions on the boys faces each time they scored a point, the determination and expressions of fun. 

Since the game was so quick sometimes, you had to take pictures and videos just so you could put details in it when you got home

the week continued and soon enough you had drawn each of the boys at least once, some more realistic and others more abstract with the additions of wings or feathers 

like Yachi when she first joined, you saw the boys play and we’re immediately in awe, and so even after your week was up, you still came to practice and continued to draw the boys - for the purpose of practice (yeah okay)

It wasn’t the only reason of course, you also loved being able to send more time with your boyfriend. Before this you couldn’t really walk to or from school seeing as he woke up early and left late for practice. 

so being able to spend more time with him was amazing, especially since it meant that he would sometimes come to your house afterwards just to make sure you didn't stay up too late on your work

often times he’d end up joining you and your parents for dinner

so whenever you were there, you just kept drawing Tsuki, mesmerised by the proud look he’d get on his face whenever he’d block someone. 

it was even better when he was teasing someone, the sly grin on his face made you laugh - he could be a jerk but at least he was your jerk.

he never knew what you were doing most of the time, always that you were on your phone or drawing in your sketchbook for quick sketches.

he found out though when he came round yours after not being there for a couple of weeks, your room had your drawing of him strewn over the place - not expecting him to come round

“Tch, are you stalking me now or something?”

he’s teasing of course, but he can’t help but grin at your blushing face as you quickly deny it

“Relax. its cute. I didn’t know you liked drawing me so much.”

he’s teasing again and you’re tempted to kick him out your house as you’re rushing around to grab all the drawings

Tsuki continues to grin at you before he spots drawing of the other player and then hes scowling

“Hey.”

He walks up to you, grabbing your chin and tilting your head up to look at him

“Stop drawing them. You should draw me if you’re going to be in the club so often.”

He’ll shrug it off and act like it was nothing, blushing lightly whilst the blush on your cheek is more heavy

but soon you’re grinning because Tsuki was j e a l o u s

oh how the tables have turned

in all honesty though, you’ll continue drawing the other boys but your focus will always be on Tsukishima

and although he’d rather you put ALL your attention on him, he’ll live with most of it.

for now.

you start to give him some of your best drawings, since he knows now.

he absolutely loves your drawings, grinning and showing off the small ones that he’d ‘accidentally’ leave in his note book.

will show off to Tanaka and Noya just to annoy them

“Oh whoops I seem to have left this drawing my girlfriend drew of me in my sports shorts how silly of me”

you get requests to draw them and Tsuki is enjoying the chaos he’s creating

“Sorry, she only draws me.”

you’ll end up giving the boys some drawings, just to stop the arguing

you once took a group picture and had drawn it over the next week on a big A2 piece pf paper, giving it to the boys to put in the club room

and they did

Tsuki loved it. both the picture you’d drawn

and the image of Tanaka and Noya crying

no way was that image disappearing from his head anytime soon

but in the end, he was the one who had you. 

and he loved it, more than bullying his teammates

so anyway i then had a days-long crisis about Why Has Nobody Done This ??? they interact several times in canon, they’re on friendly terms, they work together, they’re great foils for each other (relaxed/anxious), they’re both even popular characters so it isn’t like shipping a popular character with a bg char nobody’s ever heard of before, y’know? like it just. it just didn’t make sense???

How do u design the gjinkas of ur pokemon teams? And also, how do you choose their designs (ex. Chipotle looking drastically different from the rest of the charizards)

Well, the gijinka designs were all direct translations of their personalities. So for Chipo he’s just a casual, goofy lad. Laid-back clothes like t-shirts and sneakers would suit him best. 

Wilton is an English gentleman, so his outfit is referenced from Victorian suits, which in my mind are like the quintessential look of the ‘gentleman’. 

Rufaine’s current design is more about comfort, while still looking put together. As another gentleman character, he would still draw on the elements of a suit, but now after his scars, there’s a softer, cosier look to him. Kind of like the idea of wearing pyjamas when you feel crap. XD 

Matilda obviously as a swimmer, had to have that type of athletic ‘hydro-dynamic’ figure. There wasn’t much else to her, I mean like how creative can you get swimming gear and a Golduck design? Probably much more than I was but ehhh

Jupiter just made me think of a squished Wario.

And Pippi had that weird gimmick before where one half of her face was active while the other wasn’t. But once she evolved that wouldn’t have made sense to gijinkify. So sock puppets became a more obvious way of representing her other heads.

In terms of their pokemon designs, I mainly just try to to simplify them so that I’m comfortable drawing them over and over. Chipo looks the way he does because in the early comic, when I tried drawing his side profile in more ‘realistic’ proportions, like here:

 it looked terrible. But when I drew him face on:

the roundness was much more appealing. And keeping him rounded and simple just made it easier to draw him. And the style evolved from that. I kept that in mind when designing everyone else.

and jin is like lol ok

and tae is like hold on no don’t laugh at my struggle

and then they get into a FULL BLOWN FIGHT even though they’re literally about to go on stage bc tae doesn’t feel like jin is listening to his concerns and jin is like bitch what

FHJGDGHSHGFGGHD as usual starting off with the keyboard smash anyway! ill be talking about my experience seeing mx live yesterday (3/3) second part is abt when mx were on stage but its quite dry bc i dont remember much

ill be going in chronological order so [jooheon voice] lets get it

i was gonna meet my friend (karissa) at 3:30 because we were going to meet the person selling us our tickets at 4pm but that got delayed until like 5pm which was fine though

anyway i met her and we started queueing because although official queuing was supposed to start at 6pm they pushed it forward to 3pm (which was unfortunate for those who were busy and couldnt come until much later - the organizer never released an official statement saying the queuing started earlier) 

so as soon as karissa and i arrived at like. the place (near the venue) we got lost for about a whole 5 minutes lmao so i texted james asking him where the hell . they were and we made it and joined the queue immediately (we were the last few people of the second batch) 

we just sat there and. collected freebies and our banners (for the fan events) while we waited for the seller to come give us our tickets 

when they came i was like . fucking screaming because one of the seller was someone i knew from primary school (4 years ago) and i was likeudghdgghdhsh??????? that was the highlight of the daydhfhs

after we bought the tickets and shit we were slightly concerned they wouldnt work lmao but they did god bless

while we waited for the doors to open and stuff a group of people did dance covers of mx songs and later other groups too everyone was cheering for them which was nice fgfghdgh

the hype died down and we just waited quietly until it hit 6pm and i started listening to the day6 stream LMAO but after 4 songs i had to stop because suddenly everyone was standing up?? 

for nothing though because we sat down like 30 minutes later at around 7? 7:30? everyone stood up again and this time people were given wrist tag things u kno.. ya there were three (?) kinds i think gold for those who held a superfan ticket, pink for general admission and some other colour for those who got tickets for free and could sit on chairs dhdghs 

it was a free standing event in an outdoor space so superfan ticket holders got to stand closer to the stage? and those with general admission had to stand behind us and it was separated by a barricade 

we entered at like 8pm because we were the second batch (there was a third batch behind us) and it was already filled?? not exactly but from where we were standing we couldn’t really see the stage 

in the end we were in the middle which wasnt exactly the best but its definitely better than those standing all the way at the back rip 

i think at like 7:45 they started playing the music videos and everyone was shouting the lyrics it was cute i loved it but my throat told me to die after i yelled for like all of their mvsjhdgdghd 

also when all in played u bet my ass i jumped up and downdhg

also water wasnt allowed inside which i think is normal so i chugged mine down as fast as i could before entering (i had a little left and the lady let me in with it thanks queen) (i drank it all before they even came on stage)

the hype was real though and it was great 

when it hit 8:30pm the introduction video started and suddenly i was getting pushed forward and wow . dont go if ur not a fan of people invading your personal bubble. i wish fans had more sense to Not push around and stuff but what can we do rip 

other than that when they came out oh gOD when they came out i was likebfhgddgs??!?!??!?! i had to stand on my tip toes to see them

they started with beautiful and i was liek. dissociating i jsut sang along and shit it was amazing??????

minhyuk also tried to make fun of jooheons drawing but it failed bc none of us understood his joke

so they made us vote by screaming and they each stood up while holding their sketchbooks and we’d scream

winner was changkyun (i yelled my heart out and jumped bitch)
