RWBABIES: Schnee-Nikos Family.

I’m finally getting around to posting my next RWBABIES post! I’ve been in a good mood in terms of writing, so I finally decided to finish what I have for the Schneekos family so far and sharing it with you guys!

Previous Post(s): Rose-Polendina Family, Xiao Long-Belladonna Family.

So let’s get started!

1) Weiss Schnee.

She’s currently 47 years old.

She’s working as a part time huntress. She’s also the president of the Schnee Dust Company and has been working extremely hard making big changes to improve the company’s reputation.

2) Pyrrha Nikos.

She would’ve been 47, if she had survived her incident. She passed away at the age of 42, due to a fatal injury she received during a mission.

When she was alive, she was working as a part time huntress. She was also the owner and head personal trainer of her own workout facility, “Ironflex Fitness Center.” Weiss’ brother-in-law took over after her passing.

They have two pets:

There’s Cypress, a 10 year old Ragdoll cat (she’s completely white in colour).

And Diana, a 4 year old Scottish Fold cat (she’s completely black in colour).

Weiss and Pyrrha only had one child together and her name is Gwendolyn (Gwen) Schnee. More info will be under the cut!

Gwendolyn (Gwen) Schnee:

Nickname(s): Gwennie (used only by Beryl and she tolerates it…for the most part), Snow Angel (mostly it was used by Rodrick as a pet name, but she’s never liked it and finds it gross. Eventually he does stop calling her this), Princess (it’s used by Nariko sometimes jokingly, but mostly as a term of endearment and she likes it), Heiress (used by Tyson, Yarrow and Rhea).

Name Meaning: A variant spelling of, “Gwendolen”, Welsh origin – Gwen meaning, “white, fair, blessed”, and dolen meaning, “loop, link of a chain, ring, bow.”

Age: 17.

Gender: Cis Female.

Race: Human.

Birthday: January 4th.

Star Sign: Capricorn.

Sexuality: Bisexual.

Handedness: Left.

Complexion: Pale White.

Height: 5′3.

Hairstyle: Shoulder-length, that is usually tied into a small ponytail to the right side of her head with the rest of the hair loose. Sometimes she might keep her hair up in pigtails or she’ll even wear her hair down. Bangs are usually swept to the left.

Hair Colour: White.

Eye Colour: Vivid Green.

Symbol: A tiara that looks like the one Pyrrha wore, with the Schnee snowflake in the middle. The entire thing is an icy blue colour.

Weapon(s): Myrtenlass – A multi action dust cutlass (MADC), with the same hilt and chamber just like her mother Weiss’ weapon, “Myrtenaster.” The blade itself is silver, while the hilt and chamber are light blue. When a dust cartridge is in use, the blade glows the same colour (ex: when using blue dust, the blade glows blue). She primarily uses, blue, white, red, yellow, cyan, and purple dust. Sometimes she’ll swap yellow dust for green or burnt orange. While the cutlass is the standard form, it has two other modes. The first being that of a bo staff, the hilt extends, the blade retracts into the chamber and the top part of the staff forms. The trigger is hidden, so to change dust rounds you tap the staff on the ground two times. The second is a bow that shoots dust arrows; the longer the charge, the bigger and stronger the arrow becomes. The staff curves a bit and the bow string pops out from underneath the chamber. She always has her cutlass at her side, with a sheath attached to her belt.

Aura Colour: Icy Blue.

Semblance: Glyphs – Inheriting the hereditary semblance of the Schnee family, her glyphs have various effects on objects, creatures of Grimm, and people (which includes herself). They can be used for propulsion, creating platforms, creating shields and barriers, modifying the effects of her glyphs with dust (ex: time dilation). Another ability is summoning, which allows her to summon foes that the user has previously defeated to aide them on the battlefield. Gwen is still having trouble with summoning and is still working on it, with the help of her mother Weiss and her aunt Winter.

Previous Affiliation: Mount Atlas Academy.

Occupation(s): Student, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company.

Team: GRNT (pronounced garnet).

Team Members: Gwendolyn/Gwen Schnee (Leader), Rhea Adel, Nariko Xiao Long and Tyson Valkyrie-Ren.

Partner: Nariko Xiao Long.

Personality: Can come off as cold when meeting new people, but is sociable, very hardworking, at some point she became emotionally distant for some time (after the death of Pyrrha, she became closed off, pushed those close to her away and tried to ignore her emotions), but she does eventually start to open up to people and be more honest with her feelings again after attending Beacon Academy for a couple of weeks, she’s a bit of a perfectionist (this trait has been less prevalent over time), very intelligent, can come up with strategies on the fly (one of the reasons as to why she’s a good leader), can be a bit bossy, but ultimately she does care about the well being of those that she’s close to and has a sense of duty to protect others.

Likes: Iced coffee (her usual order is dark roast, with a shot of vanilla, topping it off with extra whipped cream and caramel drizzle), chocolate (her favourite is 70% Cacao Dark Chocolate), figure skating, playing the piano and the harp (sometimes Weiss accompanies her by singing while she plays), shopping, going for jogs with Pyrrha, fencing.

Dislikes: Cranberries, when people chew with their mouths wide open, when Rodrick calls her, “snow angel” (it pisses her off beyond belief), when people underestimate her abilities, insensitive pricks (she dated one for a year and she doesn’t want to put up with that again), messy people.

Primary Casual Attire: Cardigan (faint colour gradation of blue to pale blue/buttoned up halfway/sleeves cover up 75% of her arms), stripped shirts (white, with thin horizontal black stripes/sleeves rolled up halfway), corduroy jeans (white), flats (pale blue).

Primary Huntress Attire: Poncho Sweater (faint colour gradation from white to pale blue/has a hood/her symbol is located on the back/the entire thing is lined in red), ribbed turtleneck (pale blue/long sleeved), skinny jeans (faint colour gradation from white to pale blue), high heel boots (faint colour gradation from white to pale blue/entire thing is lined in red).

Primary Sleep Attire: Pajama shirt (pale blue), sleep shorts (pale blue), slippers (white).

Primary Formal Attire: Strapless dress (a color gradation of blue to pale blue/the skirt is floor length and split to her thigh on one side/white band at the waist), shawl (pale blue), high heels (dark blue).

Accessories: Thin sash (white/three pouches at the back/the sheath for her weapon is attached to it), opera gloves (white/short sleeved).

Tattoos, Piercings and Scars: Does not want to get any tattoos right now, snowflake stud earrings (silver), has a scar on her forehead, above her right eye (received from a battle with her team against some Grimm).

Strangerville - Episode 3

Ich habe sehr viel zum Nachdenken gehabt in den letzten Tagen. Ich glaube, langsam verliere ich aus dem Blick, was ich wirklich erreichen will. Wenn ich im Archiv schmökere, stoße ich immer wieder auf Dinge, die mich beschäftigen. Nachdem ich tatsächlich keine Vergangenheit zu haben scheine. Wer bin ich? Bin ich lediglich ein Phantom? Ich weiß es nicht. Vielleicht bin ich wirklich dabei, den Verstand zu verlieren. Allerdings habe ich das Gefühl, dass ich auf etwas von Bedeutung stoßen werde, wenn ich weiter in der Geschichte der Stadt nachforsche.

Bisher habe ich es nicht in Erwägung gezogen, darüber nachzudenken, aber eines abends, als ich auf dem Heimweg vom Archiv war, begegnete ich einer seltsamen Frau. Sie war mir in der Stadt bisher nie aufgefallen, wobei sie das hätte müssen. Ihre Bewegungen waren merkwürdig steif, ihre Augen weit aufgerissen und ihr Blick starr. Für einen kurzen Moment musste ich an Mei-Li aus der Klinik denken. Sie genoss wie ich das Privileg eines Einzelzimmers aufgrund ihrer...nennen wir es….besonderen Bedürfnisse. Moment...heißt das, dass ich auch besondere Bedürfnisse habe? Ist es verrückt, wenn man nach der Wahrheit...nach sich selbst sucht? Manchmal wäre ich gerne Hewie. Er macht sich wohl keine Gedanken um so etwas. Hin und wieder denke ich, er besitzt eine höhere Intelligenz, als andere Frösche. Die letzten Tage saß er mit einem beinahe schon interessierten Blick auf seinem Stein und sah mir bei der Arbeit zu. Ich muss zugeben, dass es mir den Stress nimmt, wenn ich ihm dabei zuschaue, wie er sich im Wasser entspannt. Immerhin einer scheint das eiskalte Wasser aus der Leitung wert zu schätzen.

Ich bin wohl ziemlich vom Thema abgewichen. Ich habe erst gedacht, ich hätte das mit der Frau nur geträumt. Doch je länger ich darüber nachdenke, desto mehr Zweifel kommen in mir auf. Ich habe die Zeitungsartikel bezüglich des Labors im Krater noch einmal gesucht und gefunden. Ich glaube nicht, dass mein Gedächtnis mir hier einen Streich spielt. Ich habe für mich selbst beschlossen, weiter nach zu forschen. Ob es nun mit meiner Person zu tun hat, oder nicht. Meine Neugier hat mich eindeutig gepackt. Ich werde die Sache jedoch mit mehr Vorsicht angehen…

Jakob sah von seinem Tagebuch auf und sein Blick wanderte zu Hewie, welcher in seinem Terrarium auf dem Stein saß und auf das Tagebuch blickte. „Hewie, hat dir keiner gesagt, dass man anderer Leute Tagebücher nicht ließt?“ Der Frosch sah zu ihm auf. „Manchmal glaube ich wirklich, dass du verstehst, was ich sage...wirklich erstaunlich...“ Jakob klappte das Tagebuch zu und verstaute es an seinem üblichen Platz. „Ich muss nochmal los. Habe in der Stadt endlich einen Laden gefunden, bei dem ich Teile für den PC kaufen kann. Bin bald wieder zurück.“ erzählte er dem Frosch. Schmunzelte und schüttelte dann den Kopf, ehe er nach draußen verschwand.

Es war wie üblich sehr heiß draußen. Nun hatte er schon die kurze Hose und das leichte Hemd angezogen. Auch den anderen Stadtbewohnern war die Hitze anzusehen. Vor allem die Soldaten schwitzten sehr stark in ihren Uniformen. Jakob beneidete sie nicht darum. In einer kleinen Seitenstraße fand er schließlich den Laden, nachdem er gesucht hatte. Der Händler verkaufte einiges an Metall- und Technikteilen. Mit geübtem Auge suchte sich Jakob durch das Sortiment. Als er den Verkäufer nach einem bestimmten Festplattentyp fragte, wurde dieser stutzig. „Wohl nicht?“ Doch Tyson, der Verkäufer lachte. „Im Moment nicht. Es ist nur so, dass sich hier im Ort eigentlich keiner mit Computern auskennt. Ich kann dir aber eine besorgen. Bis nächste Woche sollte die da sein.“ „Das wäre wirklich super. Danke.“ Er bezahlte schon mal den Rest. Ein paar Teile für den PC und ein Smartphone. Auf dem Rückweg kam er wieder an ein paar dieser merkwürdigen Pflanzen vorbei. Er hatte das Gefühl, es würden immer mehr werden.

Bereits in der Nähe des Campingplatzes fiel ihm ein neues Dach auf. Er blieb kurz stehen. Das war eindeutig nicht der Caravan, in dem er lebte. Hatte Bill etwa einen neuen Gast? Er fand den alten Bill an seinem Tresen bei der Anmeldung. „Hey Bill.“ grüßte er ihn. Bill blickte von seinem Papier auf. „Ah Jake! Hatte mich schon gewundert, wo du dich herum treibst.“ Der alte Mann lächelte. „Habe Besorgungen in der Stadt gemacht.“ Sein Blick wanderte wieder zum neuen Caravan auf dem Platz. „Ach Jake, heute ist ein guter Tag. Sowohl für dich als auch für mich.“ „Habe ich was verpasst?“ „Absolut! Du bist ab sofort nicht mehr alleine auf dem Platz! Und ich verdiene wieder was!“ Der alte Mann strahlte über beide Ohren. „Oh, wunderbar… ich hatte mich schon fast daran gewöhnt, hier alleine zu sein.“ Jakob wusste nicht so recht, was er damit anfangen sollte. „Jake, wenn du mir meine Gäste vergraulst, dann wirst du wohl ausziehen müssen.“ Bill schob den Kugelschreiber zurück in seine Halterung. „Keine Sorge, ich werde niemanden vergraulen. Wenn es dir nichts ausmacht...ich kann mir bald mal deinen Rechner anschauen und überarbeiten.“ Er verwies auf die Tüte unter seinem Arm. „Ah wunderbar. Danke, Jake. Sobald ich mit der Anmeldung hier fertig bin, ist die Kiste wieder frei.“ Bills Mundwinkel verzogen sich wieder zu einem breiten Lächeln, als er Schritte hörte. Jake sah an ihm vorbei. Jemand kam auf sie zu.

Für einen Moment erschien es so, als würde die Frau sich in Zeitlupe bewegen, während sie elegant einen Fuß vor den anderen setzte. Jakob hätte beinahe die Tüte fallen lassen. Sie legte Bill die restlichen Anmeldungspapiere auf den Tresen. „Ah Miss, schon fertig?“

Ihr Blick huschte für einen kurzen Moment zu Jakob, der völlig sprachlos dastand. „War ich zu schnell?“ wollte sie wissen. Bill schüttelte den Kopf und nahm die Formulare vom Tresen, um sie weiter zu bearbeiten. Der Blick der Frau wanderte inzwischen weiter zu Jakob.

„Ich nehme an, wir sind ab heute Nachbarn? Mein Name ist Angel Grimm.“ Sie hielt ihm lächelnd die Hand hin. Er ließ den Blick wie üblich irritiert sinken, schüttelte ihr aber schließlich die Hand. „Jakob...Blyte...“ murmelte er. Angel jedoch lachte. „Freut mich, Jakob. Mr Sulleyvan hat mir bereits ein bisschen was erzählt. Natürlich nur Positives versteht sich.“ „D-das ist sehr schön...und nett...und so. Entschuldigen Sie, ich habe noch Arbeit, die dringend erledigt werden muss.“ stammelte er etwas unbeholfen, hob zum Abschied die Hand und ging schon beinahe hastig zu seinem Caravan zurück.

Jakob zog den Vorhang etwas beiseite. Bill unterhielt sich noch immer mit der Frau. Sie machte nicht den Eindruck, aus dieser Stadt zu stammen. Sie wäre ihm in der Stadt aufgefallen. Zumindest dachte er das. Vermutlich unterhielten sie sich gerade darüber, wie unfreundlich er war. Wobei beide sehr fröhlich aussahen. Er hatte noch immer ihr Parfüm in der Nase. Schüttelte den Kopf und stellte die Tüte auf den Tisch. Es wurde Zeit, sich an das Übertakten des Laptops zu machen. Bis auf die Festplatte hatte er alles zusammen, was er vorerst brauchte. Hewie kletterte auf seinen Stein, als Jakob das Zimmer betrat. Er bemerkte den Frosch, als er seinen Laptop holte. „Na, hast du schon die Neuigkeiten mitbekommen? Wir haben einen neuen Nachbarn.“ teilte er ihm mit. Hewie starrte ihn nur an. „Ja, aufregend. Ich weiß. Eine Nachbarin besser gesagt. Angel Grimm...“ Er schüttelte wieder den Kopf und nahm den Laptop mit zum Esstisch.

Vom Tisch aus konnte er durch das Fenster das meiste vom Campingplatz sehen. Der Umbau des Laptops nahm einiges an Zeit in Anspruch, in der er den Caravan nicht verließ und sich hauptsächlich von Fastfood ernährte. Oft konnte er Bill und die junge Frau draußen sehen, wie sie an ihrem Caravan arbeiteten. Sie machte viel allein. Dem Aufwand nach würde sie so schnell wohl nicht wieder abreisen. Er sollte wirklich höflicher sein, das wusste er, aber er kam sich immer so unbeholfen vor. Fremde lösten schon Unbehagen aus. Aber fremde Frauen übertrafen das noch einmal. Dabei konnte er nicht einmal sagen, was der Grund war. Er hatte sich wieder dem Rechner zugewandt. Mit gekonnten Handgriffen hatte er ihn auseinander gebaut und rüstete ihn nun auf. Solange er sich damit beschäftigte, war er nur darauf konzentriert. Alle anderen Gedanken waren ausgeblendet. Es half ihm dabei, zu entspannen. Vielleicht war das schon immer sein Handwerk gewesen. Auch die Recherchen und Arbeiten am Computer hatten sich bisher immer vertraut angefühlt.

Ein Blick nach draußen verriet ihm, dass Angel Grimm mit einem Getränk und einem Buch auf ihrer inzwischen fertig gestellten Terrasse unter dem Sonnenschirm saß. Sie hatte sich ihr derzeitiges Heim wohl mit viel Sorgfalt hergerichtet. Der Caravan sah, im Gegensatz zu seinem, sehr modern aus. Sie richtete sich auf und verschwand nach drinnen, während er den inzwischen wieder zusammen gebauten Laptop startete. Er brauchte nicht mehr die übliche halbe Stunde, bis er betriebsbereit war. Jakob war sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Die Geschwindigkeit des Internets war zwar immer noch ziemlich lahm, aber er hatte eine bessere Arbeitsgrundlage geschaffen.

Gerade war er dabei, Schutzsoftware zu installieren, als es an der Tür klopfte. Verwundert öffnete er sie. Die neue Nachbarin stand vor ihm: Angel. „Guten Abend.“ grüßte sie. In der Hand hielt sie einen Teller mit Schokoladenkuchen. „Guten Abend.“ grüßte er zögerlich. „Störe ich gerade? Ich dachte nur, dass wir eine nicht so angemessene erste Begegnung hatten. Und nachdem wir wohl nun länger gemeinsam auf diesem Platz wohnen, wollte ich das berichtigen.“ Sie trug das gleiche Parfüm, wie bei ihrer ersten Begegnung. Eigentlich wollte er etwas sagen, doch er brachte keinen Ton heraus. „Wir können uns natürlich auch hier draußen unterhalten. Ich hoffe, du magst Kuchen? Ist selbst gemacht.“ Sein Blick huschte kurz zum Laptop auf dem Esstisch, er atmete tief durch. „Nehmen Sie doch Platz.“ sagte er und verwies auf die beiden Gartenstühle vor dem Caravan. Angels Lippen verzogen sich zu einem Lächeln, während sie ihm zu den Stühlen folgte und den Kuchen auf den Tisch abstellte. „Mir scheint, du arbeitest sehr hart. Man bekommt dich kaum zu Gesicht.“ Sie ließ sich auf einem Stuhl nieder. Jakob setzte sich auf den anderen. „Es gibt viel zu tun. Irgendwie muss man sich ja seinen Lebensunterhalt verdienen.“ Sie nahm sich ein Stück Kuchen. „Das stimmt wohl. Es ist bestimmt praktisch, wenn man von zuhause aus arbeiten kann. Ich habe den ganzen Bürokram erst einmal satt. Darum habe ich mir eine Auszeit genommen.“ Jakob nickte mit mäßigem Interesse. Am Liebsten würde er wieder nach drinnen gehen und sich seiner Recherche widmen. Allerdings wollte er tatsächlich nicht unhöflich erscheinen. „Und da kommen Sie gerade hierher?“ Er betrachtete den Schokokuchen auf dem Tisch. „Ach ich lebe schon eine Weile in Strangerville. Mein Vater stammt aus diesem Ort. Nach dem Studium habe ich für mich selbst beschlossen, wieder hierher zu ziehen.“ Er spürte ihren Blick und betrachtete angestrengt den Kuchen. Sie kicherte. „Du darfst gerne was davon essen. Ich hab nicht für mich alleine gebacken. Schmeckt auch gar nicht schlecht.“ „Ehm, ja natürlich...“ Zögernd nahm er ein Stück Kuchen. „Und was hat dich nach Strangerville verschlagen? Du machst nicht gerade den Eindruck, aus der Gegend zu kommen.“ wollte sie wissen. Jakob biss vom Kuchen ab. Er zerlief im Mund und setzte eine erstaunliche, süße Geschmackskomposition frei. Überrascht starrte er den Kuchen an. „Ich...ich wohne auch erst seit einer Weile hier. Ist günstig...“ Angel neigte den Kopf etwas zur Seite. „Schmeckt er dir nicht?“ „Er ist...“ begann er und hob sich das Stück in den Mund. Der Kuchen war kein Vergleich zu den Fertigbackwaren aus dem Supermarkt. Es war, als würde die Süße wie eine Wärme in seine Seele ziehen. Die Frau musterte ihn besorgt. „Ist es wirklich so schlimm? Ich gebe ja zu, ich bin nicht die beste Bäckerin aber...“ Doch Jakob schüttelte den Kopf und rieb sich verlegen am Nacken. „Es.. es ist nur… schon eine Weile her, dass ich so etwas Leckeres gegessen hatte...“ Angels Lippen verzogen sich wieder zu einem Lächeln. „Danke. Das freut mich zu hören. Bedien dich.“ Zum ersten Mal sah er sie richtig an, womit er sich selbst jedoch wieder irritierte. Was es auch immer war, es war ziemlich störend. „Nun, Miss Grimm...“ begann er. „Ach nenn mich doch Angel. Ich komme mir sonst immer so alt vor.“ Sie schmunzelte noch immer. „Das ist schon… ein wenig sehr persönlich...“ murmelte er. „Ich bin zu persönlich? Das tut mir leid. Das ist eine alte Angewohnheit von mir, was viele in dieser Stadt aber auch teilen.“ „Die Leute sind persönlich? Ich finde sie eher abweisend und zurückhaltend...“ Angel lehnte sich zurück. „Gegenüber allem, was in dieser Stadt fremd erscheint. Die meisten Leute sind skeptisch geworden.“ „Wegen der Sache mit dem Labor im Krater?“ wollte Jakob wissen. Die Frau sah ihn überrascht an. „Du weißt davon?“ „Ich habe es in der Zeitung gelesen...“ „Ach was. Nun eine Zeit lang war es das Gesprächsthema. Inzwischen spricht eigentlich niemand mehr darüber. Das Militär war eine Zeit lang nicht gut drauf zu sprechen. Schätze mal, die Leute haben Angst davor. Aber wenn dich das Thema interessiert, dann solltest du einmal im Archiv nachschauen. Dort findest du am ehesten was.“ Jakob musterte sie nachdenklich. Er wurde das Gefühl nicht los, dass sie mehr wusste, als sie zugab. Vielleicht aus dem gleichen Grund, den sie den anderen Bewohnern zuschrieb?

About the Author
