Do you have any characters you feel aren't talked about enough? Either narratively or irl, for me Felicity will always be "that one character with the most interesting influence on the story that just gets sidelined in favor of other things"

oh there are plenty!! felicity is a really good example, though it think it is partially by design that she is wiped so cleanly from the games memory. she only ever really existed to a handful of people, her narrative purpose is a warning sign that goes ignored. (wilhelm, claptrap, gladstone, all people who were involved in her death eventually becoming just as expendable to jack and hyperion.) however i DO think that her death would have stuck with aurelia specifically and if the writers had any care for her character it would have changed how she acted in BL3. and from a fandom sense absolutely yes she needs more attention. i need to draw her myself one of these days. and i feel pretty much every BL1 character would be very popular if introduced today, or if they had lived past the first game. outside of that, helena pierce, steele, and baron flynt had potential to be very important to the surviving cast and its not really seen through. uhmm who else. the fact that wilhelm isnt more popular is a little bizarre to me seeing as how he’s so heavily attached to hyperion. i think he was underutilized by the games as well, sacrificing him for the plot in a lackluster way and not really giving him anything to stand out against the other VHs in TPS. he is VERY interesting to me though, and had the potential to be very threatening. sir hammerlock is unironically one of the best characters in the series and he has such a lasting presence between BL2 and 3 and there has been almost complete radio silence on the fandom's end. he is very unique to me! and very charming, and i wish that was felt more by the rest of the fandom at large. he was the perfect introduction to BL2. story wise i think he sits very comfortably, and as far as borderlands characters go, he gets more attention than most. but i am starving for more fan content. i think im cheating a little bit by putting angel on this list but i genuinely do think she should have been mourned properly by the characters (and by the game, from a meta standpoint). shes popular enough as it is within the fandom, but i dont really feel her impact as much as i would like within the games themselves. her being mentioned in BL3 and FFS dont really count to me, mainly because they seem more like misery baiting than properly addressing and mourning her circumstances. she just gets flattened down to this sad, dead little girl. and she was more than that! i guess my biggest issue is that its hard to make narrative connections. borderlands has kind of an object permanence issue with its characters when theyre not on screen.

what would shy!reader’s room look like?

hi!!! tysm for asking <3 i know @princessbrunette did a post for deer readers room and i honestly see a lot of shy reader / myself in deer reader so this vibe is a little similiar to that !

for her bedroom i see something like this !! lots of quilts and blankets, i feel like she spends a lot of time in her room so it's her haven and really cozy. to me her vibe gives grandma's cottage

but i picture big windows and a comfy bed she can lie in all day if rafe doesn't specifically come get her or give her a reason to get up. she probably has a kitten or a sleepy older dog who will curl up right next to her while she reads in bed.

shes a kook and im projecting because i love those little window seating areas so maybe one of those where she can read and look out the window !! lots and lots of books! this bookshelf situation reminds me of my own room though hers is probably overflowing with her parents and rafe bankrolling. cute vanity situation for getting ready! i think she has an eye for collecting vintage things

collage wall moment !! shy reader is the type who can't ever get rid of birthday cards, notes people scribbled to her, gift tags with 'to and from' in pretty handwriting, postcards and ticket stubs. a lot of is stored in a memory box but i bet with rafe's stuff she starts a little wall like this ! he probably stares at it when he visits and feels dizzy at the emotions

trinket dishes ! scattered all throughout, filled with anything and everything. she'll be trying to get ready and running around trying to figure out where the watch rafe got her is and there's a million dishes to look through. hes like 'we're gonna be late do u even know what time it is?' she's like no i can't find my watch !

finally records ! the photo on the left is the exact set up for my record player. as we know they are expensive jawns but rafe def bankrolls her addiction to buying pretty colored lana releases. her ideal sunday is listening to music and reading in bed while curled up next to rafe. shes a simple girl

hope this wasn't too obnoxiously long ! i loved making this. staring around my room realizing i just projected my entire room + personality onto her. sorry girl

Wow, thanks for your ask, valy, honestly this is all very new to me and somewhat difficult, I mean, at first didn't know how to start with this, I had never created a real oc in my life before, until a few months ago, so I'll give some silly information about my simple hl/hp oc Olivia

She belongs to Gryffindor but feels like she doesn't fit in

She is very kind, serious, clever and the type of girl who hates pranks. She doesn't feel comfortable around her housemates. Sometimes she looks quite sad for that

She loves Herbology and all kinds of animals

She comes from a simple and humble family and is half-blood. Her father was a muggle and abandoned her when she was 6, along with her mother, who is a pure-blood witch

She developed a deep friendship with Luna and it's the reason she wants to be in Ravenclaw, that's why Olivia always carries something with her that reminds her of Luna. They now share the same patronus, the hare

Some details of Olivia's creation are based on my past and gives me some cringe lmao

My brain can't think anymore, I'm a little embarrassed at this moment hahah sorry, I can only say this about her (for now, maybe)

I love the fact my Angel is ALSO high weird and high charisma. But the difference is that he can't lie to save his life (and wouldn't want to anyway). But he's such a bumbling sunshine of a person that he's already friendly with everyone like a sweet golden retriever. Not to mention the immediate crush on Ravi.

I just love how in these circumstances, the two siblings are both extremely similar yet so incredibly different.

YES two siblings who are the same but also so, so different. I love this--I love people who grew up in the same place, with the same parents, and who might even share these huge similarities...but still are so unique. Who tackle the world completely differently. It's such a delight!!

okokok imma tryyyy to keep this shortish but i might end up infodumping cus theres sooo much i could say abt this.

SO as I said, I'm an apprentice for THE researcher/scholar for the behaviour of dragons, Cassius Clearsky. Cassius was my bio dad's best friend before my parents died so he took me in and I live with him on these floating islands called the Peregrine Islands.

Dragons in this universe (Equinox) are kind of super under-researched, so we know very little about them. Princess Isadora funds the Peregrine Islands Operative so that more is known abt them!!! eventually we're gonna have to write a big ol book and its gonna be a huge task but its gonna be my pride and joy <3

We each have designated riding dragons (mine is an orange feathered wyvern, his name is Solstice :)) but there are like, 6-9 other dragons that just. chill out on the islands fulltime because its an easier life lol.

I havent 100% decided what EXACTLY my work always entails, but ik its varied. like, sometimes its camping out to watch migrations, sometimes its watching social interactions, sometimes we get written to as the dragon authority and have to go figure that out like a scooby doo style quest.

Tbh the life isnt AS "high fantasy" as i originally planned on it being - for humanoids, theres only humans and elves - but the main focus of my life there is the dragons, 100%. Its medieval-ish, but with kind of magical steam-punky influence in more developed cities (especially The 9 Capitals)

Dragons are like super duper intelligent (depending.) and have a LOT of opinions so youre definitely not gonna get along with all of them. but theyre all sooo interesting and different and cool !!!

Like, Juno, Cassius's dragon? shes a Great Dawnshadow, which is ridiculously uncommon because their eggs only hatch during an eclipse. and they have different variants based on whether its a solar or lunar eclipse too :3!!!!

I HAVE A LOT TO SAY …. i need to work more on the merguru fic tonight but tomorrow i’ll definitely make a long post with all of my thoughts!!! obv i dooo have some problems with the pacing (the shinjuku arc’s biggest flaw imo) but as a standalone i LOVED this chapter + i especially adored the opening scene with megumi and sukuna . one of my favs in the manga for sure!!!!!! i can’t wait to see how the story unfolds next week …. honestly i don’t really think gojo is coming back at this stage, but i’ll keep some hope alive just in case :’3 all i can really hope for is one final airport scene …. i just wanna see stsg again…..
