2 new characters are in the docs now but i'll post them here so you don't necessarily have to scroll thru (bc i haven't finished designing them yet so they're not on toyhouse) + i'll list the other things

Sycamore ??? ?? He/him

Was Orval’s professional partner and best friend in the past. He died in an accident but came back through unknown means. He seemed strangely possessive over Orval, though Orval believed he was just being caring in his own way. Other hunters started complaining about him getting increasingly aggressive. Eventually this escalated into a situation where he was caught slaughtering a group of people during work. What was he like before he died?

Abilities: Weapon - Mr. Delicious (living weapon) Scythe that can (seemingly) be summoned out of thin air. Its other abilities are unknown.

Original cause of death: Disembowelment (monster attack)

Reported cause of death: Disintegration (slayed by a monster hunter)

Tyrrin Human ?? (Middle-aged) He/him

Was a suave detective with a monster hunter license. He was well-liked – and seen as annoying by some. Best known for his big smile. Apparently he found and raised Ty for several years in relative secrecy. What was he doing before he died?

Abilities: Weapon - Gold Tooth (living weapon)

Cause of death: Head burst (reportedly attacked during a breach accident)

Character ref sheet -  Tyrrin and Fenric (Master and apprentice)

have finally given Kaetos’s padawan a name so meet Tyrrin! He doesn’t really exist in game but here are some things about him

Born in 3653 BBY/0 BTC, joins the Jedi Order as a young child, and much of his childhood is spent on Tython with visits to other enclaves

Becomes a padawan in 15 ATC under Master Unaw Aharo, though is still too young to join on combat missions

Despite his young age helps a group of fellow students to safety during the attack on Tython. Feels guilty about not doing more to aid the fight against the Sith and Imperials, though recognises that there was little defence they could have made

Not much longer than a year later and the Republic is attacked by Zakuul, and the Jedi are pressed into fighting. Now aged 17, Tyrrin joins the fight, but his master falls and he barely escapes with his life

Suffering heavy defeat, the Jedi retreat to Ossus. Tyrrin feels guilty for hiding and fleeing during critical battles and decides he can’t turn his back. Fends for himself and joins resistances where he can, and becomes adept with a blaster as well as his saber

Kaetos has also chosen not to retreat with the rest of the Jedi, becoming a fixed member of Emyr’s crew as they seek allies to resist the Eternal Empire

The two come to cross paths, and Kaetos invites Tyrrin to become their padawan in order to complete his training

Thus Emyr now has four Jedi on his ship

The widow, Ting Sin, lived a quiet life, unscathed, and raised Okato and Okani, her twin children. When they were seven years old, she sent them to the Dongmin sages for their long-term upbringing. She practiced her profession of herbalism on her own.

One day a sad girl who called herself Elsa of Arania came to her.

- Give me poison! - she called out.

- Why should I? - Ting was taken aback.

- I am the daughter of Dalgor the listener. I would do anything!

By "anything," it turned out, she meant the murder of a formidable Aranian who aspired to be Aranian king. Elsa was eager to be free and wanted to rescue herself, her husband, and children from captivity.

- But Dalgors can kill without weapons," Ting protested.

- Would you have me thrown into the Fourth Sea as soon as they found out? And the Tyrrins have a lot of ill will.

Poison is very good in the East, and the nobles are particularly good at it.

With a heavy heart, Ting Xing handed Elsa a basket of poison under the leaves and berries.

- We'll pay for this in full," Ting sighed.

And went to water the cacti.

Tyrrin Hexenkaters Weltreise by Ranarh

A contest entry for the fantasy novel series Tyrrin Witch Cat by German author Platti Lorenz, owner of Stichblatt Verlag https://www.stichblatt.de/. We had neigbouring booths at Rostock's Seven Towers convention this year, when I learned about their birthday contest. I even made second place with this :) I challenged myself by using Krita to create the lineart and flats, then finished it in Photoshop.

Wir waren Standnachbarn auf dem Sieben-Türme-Con in Rostock dieses Jahr, wo ich vom Geburtstagswettebwerb erfahren habe. Hab hiermit sogar den zweiten Platz gemacht :) Meine Herausforderung an mich selbst bei diesem Bild war Krita für die Zeichnung und Flats zu benutzen, dann habe ich es in Photoshop beendet.

Did Tyrrin joined any fight during the events of lotv? did she like the fact her people had help from the Daelaam? (i dunno if she truly like them tho)

She is a more or less devout follower of Alarak, so yes, she did. She didn’t mind fighting along side the Daelaam ON the battlefield, because Khalai Templars are cool in her book as long as they don’t talk too much. Nerazim are okay too, especially because they don’t talk too much and they are a lot less louder than Khalai are (and for someone like Tyrrin, who uses her hearing mostly, that’s a very big good point). Khalai civilians... she prefers to avoid them. Too soft for her taste.

I thought it was time for an oc page, as I have far too many characters (some who are even developed). The ones listed are all who have some backstory attached, some briefer than others. They are split up in to two universes, called Fortiss and Alto. More under the cut.

FORTISS CANON

Yalla'ra. A Jedi redeemed. As a young knight lives on the borderline between light and dark, ultimately seeks to atone for her mistakes. Forges her own image of the Jedi as she becomes the Commander of the Alliance.

Ruka'ii. Raised by the Jedi from a young age and makes a rapid ascent to become the order's Barsen'thor. A scholar and negotiator, and powerful force user drawn into the fight. Leads the Jedi to safety on Ossus but ponders the value of hiding.

Ticcer. Orphaned and left to grow up on the streets after the Sacking of Coruscant. Falls into a life of crime and eventually taken in by a group of smugglers. Feels the weight of his losses every day.

Keresen. A cocky young recruit to Havoc Squad who has to grow up fast when taking on the mantle of their leader. Becomes a Republic hero, but dishonourably discharged after going rogue to fight against Zakuul. Injuries mean she can no longer fight on the frontlines, but her leadership becomes important to the Alliance.

Emyr. The son of traitors who rises to the Emperor's Wrath. Turns his back on the Empire at the height of his powers. An unorthodox Sith who finds a home in the Alliance, and a home with four Jedi on his ship.

Xianen. An abandoned padawan who embraces the dark side in its entirety. Sides with Malgus on Ilum, marked as a traitor and defeated by Emyr. Dead in the typical way the Sith are (so not really).

Jayma. No-nonsense bounty hunter from Nar Shaddaa who has been moving in shady circles from the day she was born, making her determined to be the toughest kid in town.

Ev'aari. Slave on Dromund Kaas who leads enough rebellions for Intelligence to take notice of her talent and give her an ultimatum. Hates that she enjoys working for them, until a codex gives her the chance for real freedom.

Kaetos. A Jedi lost. One of the most promising young Knights, becomes disillusioned after training with Jun Seros and then suffers further at the Emperor's hand. Refuses to retreat to Ossus and ends up travelling with a Sith, of all people.

Tyrrin. A teenaged padawan already racked with guilt when his master gives his life to save him. Decides he can no longer flee and joins the resistance against Zakuul. Becomes the padawan of Kaetos to complete his training.

Jadneehi. Jedi who joins the Alliance force enclave, studying under Sana Rae alongside Jedi and Sith alike.

Jaenda. The daughter of soldiers on both sides of the war, who grows up hating the Republic after her father leaves. Sides with Darth Jadus and operates from the shadows thereafter.

Azunee. Sith archaeologist who finds her powers greatly enhanced after an accident on an expedition conveniently rids her of her master, and her rivals. Takes on the title of Darth Imperius and becomes an ally of Darth Marr, though prefers to focus on research over the squabbling of the Dark Council.

Rodi. Independent 'information broker', mercenary, agent. No true allegiance, other than perhaps money, and knowing more than anyone else.

Moondust. Known by a codename. Rogue force user, assassin.

Jaxci. Brother of Jayma, mainly sticks to bartending on Nar Shaddaa. More than useful with blasters in his hands though.

ALTO CANON

Qiren. Smuggler who becomes the Outlander on account of being the nearest one who could answer the call. Fiercely independent, and moulds the Alliance in her image - a haven for those outside the Republic and the Empire.

Adaryn. Daughter of smugglers turned Jedi hero, but never forgets her roots. Walks away from the Order to help those on her home planet of Rishi.

Rykaeza. A Jedi who strayed. Haunted by the cost of her thirst for knowledge and power, leaves into Wild Space to cut herself off from the force and learn again from scratch.

Arbutus. A disillusioned soldier who loses faith in the Republic and deserts, and makes some credits in the process. Spends his time smuggling artefacts for the highest bidder.

Corentyn. A farm boy who enlists for the Republic army as a means to get off his planet and see the galaxy, ends up shaken by what he finds.

Ceirios. Childhood friend of Adaryn who falls in with the gangs of Rishi, until she crosses path with a Sith. Turned into their weapon, though never made to feel one of them.

Jait'ee. Becomes a bounty hunter to provide for her family who prefer to hide, and also because she enjoys the challenge. Reluctant to tie herself with the Empire too closely.

Zayyu. An escaped Belsavis prisoner who enjoys breaking back in far too much. Determined to discover the planet's mysteries, and the greater mysteries of the light and dark sides of the force.

Arthyen. Joins Imperial Intelligence as it's the proper thing to do. Naturally everything unravels and he ends up serving the other side.

Past: 12. What are some of their biggest regrets? Present: What hobby or pastime of theirs do they consider most important to them and why? Future: 3. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all? For Kaetos?

What are some of their biggest regrets?

It's a tough one, because though there are things they regret, they can also recognise it shaped them as a person a lot. Just if they had the same choices, they would choose differently. They probably wouldn't want to train under Seros, as though they learnt a lot, it kind of started the chain of events that led to them joining the strike team for the Emperor's fortress. But standing up to Seros was an important moment for them, and helped them see the Jedi aren't infallible as they once may have thought. They regret not just that they were part of that strike team, but that they also helped to convince Yalla'ra to join as well - their friendship suffers, mostly from Yalla'ra's actions afterwards, but Kaetos also feels guilty for what happened to her, and then the deaths of Sedoru and Braga at her hands. It takes a long time for those two to rebuild their friendship.

What hobby or pastime of theirs do they consider most important to them and why?

Hiking is one of the most important, it takes them back to the early days when Tython hadn't long been rediscovered and they spent a lot of time with their master, Giffis Fane, exploring and mapping the planet. They rarely fear getting lost as a result, and like the feeling of being able to just explore and find unexpected things in the landscape. Odessen is very exciting for them when they join the Alliance because of this! But yeah it's something that both has a lot of nostalgia and happy memories, and something that can help them to relax so it's probably that.

How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all?

I'm not sure how much there is to change in the future if I base this on the post-Onslaught period, as probably most of it happens at earlier points in their life. I think generally the changes to their beliefs have been in learning how to challenge the Jedi Order whilst still wanting to remain a part of it, realising the flaws there whilst remaining true to their own ideals. And yeah, as I've said, Seros is the first big moment that causes that (meeting Emyr before hand has a bit of a ripple too, and that applies to them both), it's also though from not retreating to Ossus with the other Jedi, taking a padawan with Tyrrin and forging their paths without having the structure of the Order to fall back on. By the time the Order is more of a thing again, they've been hanging out with a Sith for the best part of ten years, they've been in the Alliance, things have already shifted quite a lot in ways they haven't necessarily always realised.
