A flower promised to a dragon. Long before you were born, you, a daughter of House Tyrell, had been the intended to be wed to the second son of the King, Prince Aemond Targaryen. Your mother was one of the scarce friends the Queen had made in the court after her estrangement with Princess Rhaenyra. You were born in the walls of the keep, the queen in attendance of your birth, smiling widely as the nurse announced that you were a girlâ she was the first person to hold you after your mother and the wet nurse who handed you to her. âOh, such a beauty she isâŠâ The Queen cooed as she held you in her arms. Your mother smiled through her tiredness at how quickly the queen had taken to you.Â
âShe would make the most wonderful princess,â The queen sighed and returned you to your mother, turning her head towards the door where your promised groom already stood. Prince Aemond waddled to his mother. The boy was only two years old but was already meeting his intended. The queen took her son into her arms, lifting him up to see his future bride, who whined in her motherâs arms. Aemond furrowed his brows, stuck out his tongue, and made a noise of disapproval when he saw the pink-faced babe. âThatâs not quite nice⊠show respect for your future wife,â The queen smiled and brushed the silvery locks of her son.Â
That was the first and last time you and the prince met. Your mother and father returned to Highgarden as their stay in court was cut short with your father needing to return to his seat. For the first six and ten years of your life, you were promised to a man you have never met. Bearing the plight of women before you, promised to a man, not because of your will or your love for him but merely for status and to appease those who stood on high stature. You were defenseless as they paved your life before you, forcing you down a road that was often traveled by but many did not wish to cross.Â
âWe are to return to Kingslanding.â Your father suddenly announced. The dinner table went silent. The boisterous laughs and jests of your three older brothers and the babbles of your younger twin brother and sister growing hushed. âWhy?â You asked quietly, breaking the silence. You pet the fur of your beloved feline, trying to calm your nerves as your mind brought forth a reason. âThe queen requested our presence, dearest⊠it is time to meet your betrothed.â Your mother smiled and took hold of your hand, lightly squeezing it in comfort, thought you felt none. You lowered your gaze and tried to shut out the return of loud voices around the table.Â
It was not that it was unexpected⊠it was just⊠wholly overwhelming. You took a few moments and a few more bites of your supper before excusing yourself from the loud table, needing peace and quiet. âAre you well, sister?â Your oldest brother, Edward, asked in concern, pausing his conversation with your other brothers, Edgar and Edmund. âYes, Iâm just tired.â You said with a small smile and left the dinner table with your pet.Â
The matter of your betrothal with the prince was not at all an old matter. Ever since you were a child, they have instilled in your mind that you were Prince Aemondâs intended. That one day, you will be his bride. It was a subject you found troublingâ for how can one live at ease, being promised to a man they had never met before? How could one truly live their life if their purpose is only to be married offâ treated practically as a broodmare.Â
You were alone with your thoughts until you heard the faint knock on your door and your brother, Edmund, slowly opening it and peeking his head inside your chambers. âYes?â You asked and sat straighter, removing your eyes from the fire you stared upon.Â
âI am just making certain that youâre well.â He said softly and fully opened your chamber door, stepping in and bringing you a piece of cake for you had missed the dessert portion of your dinner. âThank you,â You say gratefully, but simply place the piece of your favorite dessert on the table beside you, making your brother quickly grow suspicious. âWhatâs wrong?â Edmund asked in concern, taking his seat beside you.Â
You gave him a forced smile and shook your head. âNothing, I told you, Iâm just tired.â You say softly, but your brotherâs frown severed. âYouâre clearly lyingâ no matter how tired you are, you always have energy for cake.â Your brother sighed, making you sigh as well. âIâm⊠Iâm scared,â You admitted. Your brother nodded in understanding, âI would be surprised if you werenât,âÂ
You twiddled with the ends of your hair as you and your brother were enveloped in a heavy, suffocating silence. âItâs justâ I have been prepared for this since I was a babe⊠Itâs all I know, but at the same time, I know nothing. I have no idea about him. What my life would be like after our marriage.â You say, your voice trembling with fear. âAnd I have been hearing rumorsâŠâ you say cautiously, your eyes upon your pet, who slept soundly on your lap. âRumors? You are never one to listen to rumors, "Your brother said in surprise; his sister was always indifferent to whispers and gossip.Â
âLast summer, our cousin Eliza had gone to court⊠and there she observed Prince Aemond for me. To report to me what he was like because I had no idea of my future husband,â You began to recount the favor your cousin had done for you to ease your nerves about the marriage. âAnd?â Your brother leaned closer in curiosity. âShe said he was⊠cold, aloof. Standoffishâ ruthless when training with his sword. Indifferent, bordering into insulting to all members of the court.â You say quietly, uttering the harbored fear of your betrothed for almost a year now. Edmund licked his lips; your cousin Eliza was never one to exaggerate.Â
âPâPerhaps it was just that summer⊠mayhap he has changed with the season,â Your brother tried to give a comforting smile, but it turned wary, neither of you believing his comforting but empty words. âIâm sorry, sister,â Your brother said quietly after a moment, looking at you with empathy. He also wondered how you would fare when married to a dragon prince and being a member of the den of vipers that was the court.Â
You had always been timid, quiet, demure. He had always been skeptical of this betrothal set between you and the prince. He recalled how your father wanted to contest it, to break off the betrothal in your adolescence, seeing that his daughter was too soft for the harshness of royalty, but your mother did not wish for it, scared that it would offend her friend, the queen.Â
âI donât expect much from the marriage,â You spoke, âI⊠I only wish for him to be kind and perhaps grant me my solitude from time to time,â You added, and your brother nodded, âWe shall see to it that you have it, sister. If we are to prove that the prince is ungallant or disagreeable, we shall convince Mother and Father to free you from him,â Your brother swore, and you gave him a sad smile, unconvinced by his promise but touched by the gesture of it.Â
Edmund left his sister to the quiet she reveled and needed; Edmund marched in search of his other brothers. âSheâs scared,â He announced as he found them in the drawing room; Edward, the eldest of them, lifted his gaze, âWho wouldnât be?â He asked rhetorically as he sipped on his wine. âAre we truly that indebted to the crown? That we must oblige them with our dear sister?â Edgar questioned, âWe are not indebted; our mother is,â Edgar replied. Your mother is forever grateful for her friend, the queen, who had shown her kindness during her time in court as a girl. She was greatly looked down upon, her fatherâs house inconsequential to the realm and often seen as a burdenâ through her friendship with Queen Alicent, she had risen through the ranks and had even secured a match with the heir of Highgarden.Â
âWell, surely our sister is too great a price for this⊠emotional debt, especially when you consider the others who had wished to be her suitor, princes from Dorne and Essos who had sung her praises and showered her gifts for years. Yet they will force her to settle for a second son. She has not even met him! Not a letter or a token to show goodwill to his betrothed,â Edward sighed at his brotherâs query. âWhat would you have us do?â Edgar asked, âI do not know⊠but if Prince Aemond is truly as harsh and tempestuous as Eliza and the realm says, we must convince them to break the betrothal.â Edmund was contented as his brothers agreed, all concerned for your marriage with a prince you had not even met yet.Â
âIs all these frills truly necessary?â Aemond grumbled as he was being fitted for new garments, suffering through the needed preparations to meet his betrothed. âYes. We cannot have you wear faded attire that reeks of dragon when you meet your betrothed. And I implore you to be kind and good-humored, Aemond. You must not scare off your wife,â Alicent sighed and nodded as the tailor bowed and finished taking the princeâs measurements. âShe is not my wife,â Aemond gritted, âShe is not your wife yet,â Alicent corrected, and Aemond shook his head. The dread in him was multiplying by the day. He was fortunate enough that his mother had not forced him to meet his betrothed years before, convincing himself that perhaps she had changed her mind and the betrothal could be broken, but alas, the fateful day to meet you has arrived.Â
Aemond had not met you nor heard anything from you. He would think it common courtesy for you to send him at least a letter, to know him before this doomed marriage, but you had sent noneâ no introduction or anything. He did, however, hear talk about you, the bloomed beauty of the reach. A lady who was already betrothed the moment she was born but was still lined up by men who hoped to be her suitor. Aemond scoffed at the thought, perceiving you as promiscuous and maybe even defiled. Aemond met your cousin last summer, the lady Eliza, loud and not at all chaste. A shameless flirt who went around the castle and made a spectacle of herself, she was not you, but Aemond liked to believe that that is how you acted as well.Â
Aemond tried to calm himself, to take his thoughts away from your arrival, but it would seem the castle was a growing reminder of you. He walked passed the great hall that was being dressed up for your familyâs arrival. He passed the gardens where gardeners had been tending to flowers that were neglected, fretting that your family would take the wilted flowers as an offense. Aemond shook his head and walked through the guest wing, and saw how your chambers were being prepared. Aemond gritted his jaw and decided to retire early that day, but it would seem even the royal wing of the castle was being dressed up for your arrival. He frowned as he passed a once-boarded-up room being cleaned, âWho is to stay here?â Aemond asked a maid, believing his mother would place you in a chamber that was only a few steps from his own, a rather scandalous decision.Â
âThe prince Daemon, my prince, the hand says he is to stay for the moon,â A maid bowed, and Aemond furrowed his brow before giving a nod to dismiss the maid, and he walked off to his chambers; it would seem that it was not only your arrival he must worry about, he must worry about the arrival of his uncle as well.Â
After five days of travel, you and the whole of your family arrived in Kingslanding. You took deep breaths before exiting the carriage, your kin being welcomed by a row of knights along with the Queen and her children. You could not even bear to look at anyone but the queen, scared to let your gaze travel to your betrothed. Your brothers stood by your side, offering support as all three pairs of their eyes assessed the prince, who had a look of disinterest. Edmund turned to his brothers, trying to see if they as well felt the animosity from the one-eyed prince that was easily felt. Through their eyes, they communicated silently and agreed.Â
You straightened your back as you felt the Queenâs gaze upon you; only then did you raise your raise your gaze fully and presented her with a pretend smile. âMy queen,â You curtsied lowly in respect; Queen Alicent smiled fondly and offered her compliments. The queen bemused for her son to have such a comely wife. She turned to her side as she felt Aemond had still not stepped forward or had taken the initiative to introduce himself.Â
Aemond sighed as he stepped forward and stiffly, almost reluctantly, bowed before you. He was staring at the skirts of your dress, refusing to look upon your face. He watched as the fabric moved as you curtsied before him. When you straightened your stance, you stared at the floor, still not catching a glimpse of your betrothed.Â
You feel your brother Edgarâs arm link with yours as your family is escorted inside the walls of the Red Keep. The royal family walked in front of yours, and only then did you dare to look upon your betrothed. Recalling how your cousin had told you that prince Aemond was the taller of the two princes and had a curtain of straight, silver locks.Â
Aemond felt your stare, and it took great restraint upon himself not to turn and gaze upon you to see the actuality of his intended. To deduce if the talk of your beauty was true or just another hoax.Â
Aemond felt his mother step closer to him, âInvite your betrothed to the gardensâ begin to acquaint yourselves with one another.â The queen whispered, and Aemond rolled his eye. âThey have been traveling for five days; let them rest first before you force us to these rituals.â Aemond quietly spoke. His words were easily covered by the chatter of your brothers and two younger siblings, but he still had to hear a word to be uttered from your lips. âVery well then, but I expect you to sit and get to know her later during supper,â Alicent warned, and Aemond resisted verbalizing his disapproval, simply nodding along and going about his motherâs orders just as the dutiful son that he was.Â
You and Aemond sat quietly in your seats as the table was filled with chatter. Aemond was not accustomed to it; their usual supper was suffocatingly silent; the only thing to be heard was the clatter of silverware upon porcelain and the breathing of his kin. Now, it was filled with varying conversations from your brothers and his, along with the chatter of the queen and her friend. Aemond had still not looked upon your face and nor you him. He stared upon your hand that was gripping your chalice; just from the looks of it, he could attest that it had never known a dayâs work. The look of your flesh was soft, supple, unsulliedâa stark difference from his own.Â
âDo you think they will go on well?â The queen whispered to her friend; your mother eyed you, who sat in her seat, your gaze upon your plate. Her eyes then turned to your future husband, who gazed at the flickering amber light of a candle in between you. âI do not know⊠my daughter relishes in silence,â Your mother admitted, and the queen hummed. âSo does my son,âÂ
You chewed on your lip as you noticed everyone at the table was chatting with one another, making small talk, except for you and your intended. You sat by his right, and you could make out the outline of him through the side of your eye; your view of him was a bit obstructed, but you could make out the contour of his nose. You battled with yourself if you should speak with him and, if you did, what topic would you bring up to converse with?Â
Aemond licked his lips as he caught the eyes of his mother, imploring him to speak with you. He clenched his jaw and took a few calming breaths before parting his lips to speak. âH⊠How were your travels, my lady?â Aemond asked through gritted teeth, his head slightly turned in your direction. You blinked, trying to deduce if you had actually heard him speak. You turned to face the prince, finally seeing your betrothed eye to eye. âIt was fine, my prince,â You answered quietly with a small smile before you and Aemond were enveloped in silence once more.Â
Aemond did not know what overcame him when you spoke, and your eyes met his. He was expecting your voice to be shrill and loudâ grating, even. He did not expect to hear such a soft, almost melodious tone when you spokeâ a deep contrast from the voices of your kin.Â
You bit your lip as you saw your mother from across the table imploring you to keep up with your conversation with the prince. âIâ I heard you are quite fond of the histories, your highness,â You inquired quietly, holding your breath as your eyes locked with the unique gaze of old Valyria once more. âI am,â he replied curtly, and you nodded, uncertain if you should speak further or let his answer be, sensing he did not wish for small talk, a sentiment you, too, shared.Â
You went quiet once more, and in other circumstances, Aemond would find relief in that, letting himself ease into the quiet, but there was an odd sensation in him that was pushing him to continue the unconventional conversation you two shared. Aemond, however, bit his tongue and let you two be enveloped in silence as you waited for supper to end.Â
Aemond returned to his chambers, mind plagued by how to perceive his first encounters with you. He had prepared himself for the possibility of him growing annoyed and aggravated by your presence, but he was surprised in himself as he felt no such emotions rising within him. In truth, he felt somewhat serene that night, a feeling he had not felt in a long time. However, instead of enjoying the calm in his raging being, he ignored it, untrusting of it. Convincing himself that that night was luring him into a trap, one you had devised, acting ever so demure and coy, not presenting your true nature and only deceiving the prince. He will not fall for it. He fortified himself to not lay prey to this calming allure you offered.Â
When the next morning came, Aemond was implored with the rest of his siblings to break their fast with yours. Your mothers forcing a bond between their children. Aemond expected his brother Aegon to complain and not abide by their motherâs wishes which is why he was caught off guard as his brother agreed, him being the first one to go to the gardens. âYour Highnesses,â Aemond heard your brothers greet in unison as you four stood and curtsied and bowed before the three of them.Â
Aemond first assisted his sister to a chair before finding one for himself, and by fate, the only seat left was the one next to yours. Aemond sat quietly and tried to finish his meal as fast as he could without appearing crude. He listened in to the chatter across the table, surprised that you and his sister struck up a conversation as well. Aemond listened intently to your voice, trying to see if the volume of your speech was forced to lower or if that was just actually the way you spoke, softâ calming.Â
He did not pay mind to the subject you and his sister discussed, but he supposed he should have as he suddenly heard quiet laughs emitting from the both of you. Aemond felt an odd warming in his chest as he heard you laugh; it was almost⊠surreal to hear it. Your laugh was what he imagined nymphsâ laughs would sound like as he read about them in his books. He was in a trance; it was⊠out worldly that even he, the well-spoken and silver-tongued prince of the realm, was speechless on how to describe it.Â
He was proven wholly wrong as he based your manners to be alike your cousin. You were a stark difference from the lady Eliza, and a part of Aemond had hoped you were like her because then, he could justify the prejudice against you that settled and bloomed in his heart. Now, he must come to terms with shedding his cruel perception of you and might actually make an effort to know his betrothed better. Aemond stayed in the gardens that morning a while longer than he had anticipated, trying to deduce your character as you spoke with his sister and interacted with your brothers. A part of him still believes that what you presented was an act, that you were not as demure and chaste as you lead them to believe. But as he saw your small smiles, timid eyes, and flushed cheeks when Aegon would speak of such inappropriate topics, he started to feel as if you were being genuine.Â
As the sun began to descend higher into the skies, the children of the queen and her friend decided to depart from the gardens, the heat proving to be too great for comfort. âMy lady, would you perhaps like a tour of the keep?â Aemond boldly but quietly asked, he felt the eyes of your brothers turn to him, but he was trying to capture your gaze. A gaze that he had trouble locking upon his, your eyes always darting around the room, difficulty in holding prolonged eye contact. âI would very much like that, my prince,â You smiled, and Aemond stood straighter, feeling his knees give out under him just because of your smile.Â
Your brotherâs eyes followed you as you and the prince detached yourselves from the group. âShould we not follow them?â Edmund questioned, âAre they allowed to go about without an escort?â Edgar then asked, their queries pointed towards their eldest brother. âIâ I do not know⊠perhaps we should just let them get to know each other, and if sister has any concerns, that is when we shall intervene.â Edward decided, his eyes following your departing figure that was next to a silver prince.Â
Aemond was not entirely certain as to how he would go about touring you along the Red Keep; the castle was dreary and had nothing of note to look upon, so he took you to the gallery. It was a less frequented room in the castle filled with portraits of his familyâs history as well as some of Westeros. You and Aemond stood before a portrait of the conqueror and his wives, him retelling the histories that you already knew of, but you still listened intently because there was just something in his voice that entranced you. It was deep, velvety, and quietâ holding a sense of calm that enveloped you with every word he uttered.Â
Aemond guided you towards another portrait, but he noticed your gaze had shifted to the side of the room, your gentle gaze upon a harp. âDo you play, my prince?â You questioned, unable to resist the instrument that sat lonesome to the side, dusted and neglected. Aemond followed you, âNo, I do not,â he answered, his eye going to your fingers, which seemed to itch to touch the strings of the unused harp. âDo you?â He asked, already guessing the answer. Aemond held his breath as your eyes finally locked with his, âI do,â you said, voice holding a pitch of excitement about the subject. There was a beat of silence, neither of you knowing what to do or say.Â
âWould you like to play it?â Aemond questioned and he felt his stomach grow warm as a smile appeared on your lips when you nodded. You ventured closer to the dusted seat, but Aemond was quicker to reach it and wipe away the remnants of lapsed time. âThank you,â You say quietly as the prince stands by your side and observes you play.Â
Aemond was never one to enjoy music or songs, but he must admit, there was something captivating about how you played the harp. The tune you played was one he had not heard before, something bright and lively yet still soothing. Aemond stood in quiet awe, watching as your fingers danced along the strings and how your eyes closed, and there was a tranquil smile on your lips as you played the tune. Aemond tried to resist it, but he could not help but help himself as a smile twitched on his lips as he listened to your melody, which, unfortunately, quickly came to a halt.Â
âItâs not finished yet,â You say in slight embarrassment, daring to turn to the prince, who you were surprised to see have a ghost of a smile on his lips. âYou wrote that?â He questioned, and you nodded, âWell, I try. I donât think I'm quite good at it, if I am being honestâ but my father did say that this piece holds the most promise.â You say sheepishly. âI quite enjoyed it,â Aemond admitted, and that compliment made your heart grow warm. âIâm glad,â You smiled, and another silence took the room, the silence you and he found comfort in.Â
With each day spent trying to acquaint with one another, you would like to beleive you and Aemond had reached a deeper understanding. Each of your perceptions made of each other before your meeting shed as you and him began to know each otherâs actuality.
There was a secret language between you, a silent one, at that. An agreement that neither of you had to fill up the gaps and lags in your conversations, simply enjoying the quiet, not forcing another topic as a filler. Others around you found it odd that you and your betrothed just walked and sat in silence, occasionally speaking of something that only you and he were privy to, but you and Aemond quite liked your arrangements.Â
âThey just sit there in silence,â The queen fretted to her friends, finding the design of your accord quite odd. Fretting that the silence was brought by indifference rather than just a mutual and deeper understanding, because how could one get to know the other in silence? âAye, they do, but they donât seem⊠bothered or disinterested by itâ I dare say they are fond of it,â Your mother said as the two observed you and Aemond, who walked along the gardens in silence, relishing in the sounds of nature.Â
âMy uncle shall arrive today,â Aemond broke the silence, assisting you to a seat for the two of you to have refreshments, âOh, Prince Daemon?â You asked, wanting to make certain of who he spoke of. Aemond gave a nod and watched as your delicate fingers poured him a cup of tea. âAre you close with him, my prince?â You wondered. âNo, not at all. Iâve only met him once,â He answered as he placed two cubes of sugar upon your cup, noting that is how you took your tea.Â
âHowever, I must admit that I am intrigued by him.â You nodded, âI always hear talk in this court as to how the lords and ladies compared me to him in his youth,â Aemond confessed, âAnd does that please you?â Aemond thought about your question for a moment, staring into your gaze that has grown accustomed to looking upon his. âNo,â he answered, watching as you nodded. âI would understand; it wouldnât fare well if we are always compared to anotherâs likeness,â You mused before you and the prince were enveloped in the inevitable silence once more.Â
When supper was nearing, Aemond felt excitement in seeing you once more. He had come far from the prince who dreaded your company; now, he sought itâaltering his usual routine in order to spend more time with you.Â
Aemond was the last one to enter the dining hall, his eye searching your frame, feeling a smirk twitch on his lips, but it quickly disappeared as he realized his uncle had taken his place. âPrince Daemon, we have saved you a seat next to the king,â Alicent spoke as she noticed Aemondâs arrival, noting how Prince Daemon was quick to spot you when he entered the hall and made a beeline towards youâ chatting with you who had no interest in small talk but still participated out of respect.
âI am quite comfortable here, next to Lady Tyrell,â Daemon refused the seat, only settling further into his chair as he turned to the girl next to him, but her gaze was turned to one of his nephews, the one who had a resemblance of him in his youth. You hear the quiet yet disapproving hum of your betrothed as he orders a squire to place a chair by your right, just enough space for him to sit next to you. The new place on your right offered closer proximity between you and Aemond as you had scooted away from his uncle, but he did not like that you were on the side of a damaged eye, unable to see your outline.Â
Supper was tenser than the ones shared before; the chatter had died, and the table was enveloped in silence, but not the kind you and Aemond found comfort in. It was the silence that everyone feared and tried earnestly to alter, but no matter the attempts, it seemed futile.Â
Aemond clenched his fists around his utensils, hearing as his uncle tried to chat you up and you entertaining his queries. âSo, what brings you and your family here, Lady Tyrell? Highgarden is quite a journey.â Daemon questioned. âThey came for my betrothed and I to be acquainted,â Aemond suddenly interjected, turning his body to face you and his uncle, who he had noticed threaded closer to your side. Daemon hummed, quick to sense jealousy from his nephew. He knew he should be somewhat mature, but his mind could not help but conjure up possibilities to torment his brotherâs second son. âHm, you are quite fortunate to have such a lovely betrothed; it would seem the crown has favored you⊠I remember my first wife, Lady Royce, the bronze bitch whose sheep seemed to prove more comely than her,â
Your eyes widened at the elder princeâs words, disparaging his first wife so openly and offensively. âIf my brother had provided me with a bride whose beauty was comparable to Lady Tyrellâs, perhaps there would be no need for me to leave my first wife⊠you are lucky, nephew,â Aemond clenched his jaw as he noticed Daemonâs eyes trail downward to your bosom that heaved ever so lightly as you were rendered uncomfortable by their topic.
You turned to your brothers, a plea in your eyes to save you from the princes you sat in between. Edward was quick to stand, âCome, sister, I shall escort you to your chambers,â He announced, and you let out a breath, Aemond standing as well to make way for you to exit, âGood night, my lady,â He bowed and boldly took your hand placed a kiss on your knuckles. A blush over, taking your cheeks as you curtsied before him, your mothers thrilled as they saw affection blooming between the two of you.Â
âYou looked quite uncomfortable,â Your eldest brother noted. âIs your betrothed proving to be ungallant? Must we intervene now and convince moââ You quickly shook our head, âNo! Prince Aemond has been quite⊠lovely; cousin Eliza was somewhat wrong in her judgment,â You say quickly in defense of Aemond, who you had grown to deeply like the past few days. âI was just not prepared to meet a character such as the Prince Daemon,â You added, and your brother nodded in understanding; he, too, was scandalized as he heard the words uttered by the elderly prince.Â
âSo, you have grown to be quite⊠fond of your betrothed,â You bit your lip as you hear a teasing tone in his voice. You sighed and felt a smile coming to your lips. Whatever fear you had for the marriage subsided with every silent and serene moment with Aemond. âI have.â You confirmed, and your brother nodded. Placing a kiss on your temple before you enter your chambers and get ready for the night.
It has been three days since Prince Daemonâs arrival, and Aemond has been growing peeved at how his uncle would always trail you. Aemondâs new routine of spending the quiet hours of his days with you that was quick to feel like second nature, abrupted by the arrival of his uncle. There were now only scarce moments where you and Aemond were left in each otherâs company and quiet, his uncle always trying to speak with you, and you could not deny him conversation, for it would be impertinent.Â
It was past high noon when Aemond concluded his training with Ser Criston, his feet hastily carrying him away from the tiltyard to find you, who had frequented the gallery to play the old harp that found new life from your touch. He stood by the threshold and was quick to grow annoyed as he noticed his uncle was in your presence once more.Â
âYou do not speak much, do you?â He heard Daemon question, your fingers ceasing to play the instrument. âI take it upon myself to not speak unless spoken to, my prince. I do not wish to bother anyone. I know how⊠annoying it can be when one just simply wishes for peace and quiet, but there is an insistent noise you must attend to.â You say, and Aemond was quite surprised as he heard a slight in your comment, but his uncle did not seem to catch it.Â
Aemond observed as you returned to play the harp, the melody easing whatever tension he harbored, but it was quick to return as his uncle wandered closer to you. Aemond stood rigid by the door; your back was face to him and he saw his uncle turn his head towards the door, a smirk on his lips as he stepped further into your space. Daring to take a lock of your hair in his fingers, twirling the lock.Â
You tensed in your seat as you felt Prince Daemonâs finger twirl your hair. You looked at the strings of the harp wide-eyed, uncertain of what to do.Â
When Aemond noticed your unmoving frame that did nothing to hinder his uncleâs actions, he removed himself from the door frame and marched back to his chambers. Whatever understanding made between the two of the past days was quickly forgotten as his cruel perceptions of your nature, he mustered before meeting you returned.Â
You sat tensely at dinner that night once more, waiting for the presence of your betrothed to somewhat comfort as his uncle sat next to you again. When Aemond entered the hall, you placed your hopeful gaze upon him, but he did not turn to you, ignoring the empty seat next to you and instead to a seat in what was supposed to be the place of his uncle.Â
Throughout dinner, you would peek a look at Aemond, who refused to meet your gaze. There was a prominent scowl on his face, and his demeanor held an air of indifference that strayed dangerously close to animosity. You started to wonder if the Aemond you stared upon right now was the Prince your cousin had warned you about. And perhaps the past few days spent with him was an act, a fictitiousness in him to appease his mother so the marriage would proceed. You were disheartened by the thought.Â
When the following morning came, Aemondâs eye followed as you roamed the halls alone, following behind you but not close enough for you to notice your presence. You led him back to the gallery, where both of you were caught in surprise when his uncle stood in the room, waiting for you. Aemond clenched his fists, believing he was a witness in your clandestine meetings. The scandal of it! Here you are, an engaged woman meeting with a man who was old enough to be your father and was married to the Kingâs chosen heir!
âMy prince,â you curtsied as you spotted him near the harp, having the urge to turn back around and exit the room. Uncomfortable to be alone in the Rogue Princeâs presence. âAll alone? Where is your betrothed?â Daemon mused, stepping closer to you. âIâ I do not know,â You said and backed away from the prince who was threading closer to your space once more. âHm, itâs quite foolish of him to leave his lovely bride to be all alone⊠especially in this keep where danger always lurks,â Your lips parted at his words. Was that a threat? You thought.Â
You swallowed thickly and turned to the door, wanting to make an escape but not one so obvious that it would make suspicion rise. Daemon smirked as he saw fear in your eyes; it was so easy. You were such an innocent and sheltered thing. He could smell you from leagues away, a lovely and tempting prey that a dragon could never resist. It was a shame that you were betrothed to his nephew, but perhaps that could still change.Â
You gasped as you felt Prince Daemon flush your bodies; you stared at him wide-eyed as he took hold of your cheek.Â
Aemond watched the scene; rage within burned bright and carelessly. He wanted to put a stop to whatever he witnessed, but he stood in wait, wanting to find evidence if this was truly how you wereâ promiscuous and would settle to be a whore of his uncle.
âMy prince, whââ You panicked, trying to back away, but he held you still. âSuch a pretty young thing you are⊠a shame that youâll be wasted on my disfigured nephew,â You drew out all of your might and pushed away Prince Daemon, him stumbling only a few paces. You see a sinister smirk rise to his lips as he tries to close the gap between you once more, but you are quick to strike his cheek, rendering him in shock, and you take that opportunity to run out of the room and into safety.Â
Aemond was hidden behind a pillar, and as you passed, he saw clearly the distress on your face and how you were on the verge of tears, rendering him guilty for not coming to your aid as he had thought you were in want of his uncle.Â
Aemond saw as Daemon furiously marched out of the gallery in pursuit of you, but he was quick to step away from his hiding and face his uncle. âYou dare try to sully her? Was my half-sister and your whores not enough? Must, in your old age, still prey on young innocent girls?â Aemond spat, ready to challenge his uncle in your honor. Daemon chuckled as the young prince stared at him wide-eyed. âYou get ahead of yourselfâ they might compare you to me in my youth, but you are completely lacking of what it means to be a true Targaryen prince⊠youâd have to thank your cunt of a mother for that.â Daemon chuckled, and Aemond no longer hesitated to draw out his sword.Â
A battle between nephew and uncle commenced in the halls; both men wielded their weapons with such authority that neither one could draw blood. Daemon was somewhat impressed by his nephew. He thought the talk he heard of Aemond was just propaganda spread by his grandsire, but it would seem that his nephew knew his way with the steel. That, however, did not deter the prince, for Aemond was still completely inexperienced when compared to him.Â
One of the princes was near drawing blood when a band of Kingsguards appeared in the halls and were quick to separate the dueling princes. Daemon laughed as he was held back by the knights, his nephew still seething across from him, still ready to attack. The elderly prince brushed off the hold on his arms and laughed once more before walking away from his nephew, leaving their state as it was.Â
Aemond brushed off the guards and hastily marched in search of you, wanting to make certain you were wellâ wanting to offer his apologies for his judgments and lack of protection over you.Â
He knocked on your door, waiting on bated breath as he heard you shuffling inside. When you slowly revealed yourself, Aemond felt his stomach pit at the sight of your teary eyes that you tried to hide. âIâm sorry,â He was quick to breathe out, unable to stomach you in such a state of distress. Your brows knit together at his words, âWhat? My priââ Aemond shook his head and forced himself into your chambers.Â
âIâm so sorry, my lady⊠Iââ Aemond repeated but you still had no clue as to what he refers to. âMy uncle, he is a depraved man; I should have protected you from him.â He explained as he saw confusion in your face. Your eyes widened at his statement, âYou saw us?â You asked in fear that he would think you were tarnished. âI have, and I⊠I should have come to your aid, but instead, my mind cruelly thought you were in want of him; I apologize, my lady.â It felt foreign for Aemond to apologize, but it seemed to roll off his tongue effortlessly for you. He would never have fathom to encounter someone or the day that he would apologize earnestly, ready to beg for forgiveness.Â
âNo⊠my prince, you need not apologize; it was not your doing,â you said, but Prince Aemond stubbornly shook his head. âIt is my duty to protect youâ to defend my lady wife.â You bit your tongue as he referred to you with such a title. It felt surreal⊠and you must admit it brought a stir in you that you quite liked.Â
You and Aemond were in silence once more, the silence both of you had gotten used to, the silence within each other that you both craved. The serene silence that could only be provided by each other. âWill you still⊠still have me? Even after my transgression?â Aemond dared ask, not wanting to live in the hope that there would still be a way that you would be his. Surely, you would be deterred to take him as your husband, for he could not even defend you with such a threat. Aemond studied your face, his knees growing weak as a smile spread across your lips. âI still want you, my prince,â You admitted, heat blooming in your cheeks as you said the words. Aemond could not help but cup your cheek, wanting to feel the warmth of them as they flushed with color before him.Â
âI must admit⊠I was dreading to meet you,â He said quietly, and he felt you nod. âI, as well⊠I was greatly warned that we might not see eye to eye.â You admitted. Aemond hummed and brushed his thumb across your soft skin, your bodies threading closer and closer. âI do not believe I would ever want someone as much as I want you,â Aemond confessed, his voice so low that if you had not felt his breath fanning your skin, you would think you had imagined his words. âI never thought anyone would understand me in the way that you do, my prince,â You breathed out as his face threaded closer to yours, his eye on your lips as you spoke.Â
âYouâre mine⊠say it, my darling.â Your eyes fluttered closed at his words. âIâm all yours,â Quickly after you uttered the words, you feel his lips upon yours. A kiss filled with longingâ impatience. A kiss that was long overdue, for how could either of you live for years without knowing each other? How could Aemond try to ignore your existence, and how could you try to deny this marriage? It was set the day you were born. You two were simply destined for one another.Â
As your lips parted, you smiled before your soon-to-be-husband. Aemond hummed in contentment and tucked a lock of your hair behind your ear, inhaling your intoxicating scent deeply. âShall we tell our mothers that they shall prepare for our wedding, then?â Aemond smiled, and you let out a quiet laugh as you nodded, letting him hold you. âAnd urge them to make haste,â Aemondâs eye twinkled with amusement as he dipped down to capture your lips once more.Â
A fortnight had barely passed before you and Aemond uttered your vows before the godsâan intimate wedding commenced, as you both requested. And it was followed by a family dinner after. Aemond was impatient, as were you, but you and he waited for the meal to end; for the past days, there was a need greatly bubbling inside him, having trouble finding restrtaint and contentment with just stolen kisses and touches.Â
When it was finally night, Aemond led you to his chambers, you already flushing in anticipation of what was to come. When he led you to your shared chambers, you were met by something covered in a white cloth. You frowned and turned to your husband, who simply smiled and closed the door behind you. âItâs a gift for you.â He said and stood before it. You stepped closer as he urged you to uncover what he had given, though you already had a sneaking feeling as to what it was.Â
Aemond watched with his heart in his eye as you beamed before him as you uncovered what he had givenâ a harp. Newer and grander than the one in the gallery, the body was plated with gold, and delicate carvings of flowers scattered its body. You bit your lip and step towards your husband, wrapping your arms around his neck and pressing your lips agaisnt his. âThank you⊠I love it,â you said gratefully as your lips parted. Aemond simply hummed, âIâm sorry, I didnât know we were to exchange gifts⊠I couldâve gotten something,â You then say, fretting he would take offense.Â
Aemond shook his head. âYou already have given me your hand; you are my wife. What more could I want?â Those words uttered, and the certainty in Aemond only made you melt further. He intertwined your lips once more, but the kiss shared held something wholly different from the ones shared before; it was urgent, filled with longing and desires that were greatly suppressed.Â
You feel breathless, but at the same time, you make no move to part your lips. You feel him lead you to the feathered bed, his hands on your waist as he sits you gently upon the cushion. You blushed as you felt his fingers hover at the bodice of your dress, itching to undo the laces, but there was trepidation in him. You bit the insides of your cheeks and took the initiative to do it yourself. Aemond sucked in a deep breath as your dress fell before him, revealing yourself only dressed in your shift.Â
Aemond fell on his knees before you, moving his hand to cup your cheek and the other to undress you further. He heard a moan escape your lips as he nipped your bottom lip. His cold hand cupped your breast that pebbled before his touch. You mewled his name as he parted your lips, your hands finding the buttons of his leather tunic.Â
You ran your hands through his smooth, chiseled chest and Aemond felt chills running down his spine at the feel of your hands on his skin. You let out a breath as you feel your husband lay you down, his weight atop you, his weeping length aligned with your glistening entrance. You sighed as you felt his finger tease your folds, Aemond resting his forehead up your shoulder as he felt your arousal. âYouâre all mine, my darling,â Aemond breathed out against your lips and swallowed your whines as his length penetrated you.
Aemond groaned at the sheer feel of you clenching around him. Pleasure and guilt swirled within him as he saw your face contorted in pain, kissing away your tears as you acclimatized yourself with his length. He truly thought himself indifferent in the ways of pleasure, only succumbing to it occasionally when even he could not suffice his lustâ but now, he was certain he knew what the fuss was all about when it came to fucking. He had only a taste of you, but he was certain he was addicted. It took a moment before your whines of pain turned into whimpers of pleasure, your husband breathing heavily as you urged him to speed up his pace, but Aemond was conscious not to break and hurt you further.Â
âAemond, please⊠I waâ need more,â You breathed as Aemondâs thrusts were cautious. He bit his lip and sped up his pace ever so lightly, but that was not enough for you. With your legs circling his waist, you shifted your weight and placed yourself atop your husband. Aemond was rendered stunned by your actions, only watching in awe as you bounced upon his cock whilst you straddled his waist. He never thought youâd have it in you, but he supposed it was always the quiet ones who would be capable of the unexpected.Â
âYou were so quiet the days before, little wife⊠but look at you nowâ your moans could be heard throughout the castle.â Aemond hummed, and his hands found home on your waist, assisting you as you writhed against his length. Your hands were planted on his chest as your hips worked against his in search of friction. âHusband, please,â you pleaded, knowing you would not come to what you searched for without his assistance. Aemond smirked and moved his hands to cup your behind and lifted his hips to thrust deeper and harsher into you.Â
âYes⊠yes, gods, Aemond!â You cried as you heard him groan at how you scratched his chest, leaving imprints of your hands upon his skin. âAre you to come, my darling? Is my little wife to come at my cock?â He hissed as he felt his own release coming. His hands traveled your frame, cupping your tits and moving his head to take one into the cavern of his mouth. You nodded, your head that was tilted to the heavens, your back arched, and your husbandâs name slipping your lips as you came undone. You hear him call out your name as he spills his seed deep in your cunt, your heavy breathings mixed as you collapse atop him, his lips finding yours once more.Â
âYou truly are made for me,â he whispered against your lips. Feeling a surge of new and overwhelming emotions that you could not yet utter, all you could do was kiss his lips once more and bask in the presence of the man who had been bound to you the moment you were born.Â

The wind howled through the ancient halls of Winterfell, carrying with it the biting chill of the northern winter. Cregan Stark, the Warden of the North, stood by the great hearth in the main hall, his keen grey eyes fixed on the entrance. The time had come for the arrival of his new betrothed, y/n, the most beautiful amongst house Tyrell.
From the moment he first saw her, Cregan had been captivated. Even as a young lad, her grace and elegance had set her apart. Now, as a grown woman, she was even more bewitching, and Cregan's heart swelled with a mix of anticipation and determination. He was resolved to turn their arranged marriage into a union of love.
As Cregan stood by the hearth, he watched the window, the snowflakes drifting lazily to the ground, a distant memory surfaced, warm and vivid against the icy present. He closed his eyes, allowing himself to be transported back to a time when he was just a young lad of twelve, visiting Highgarden with his family.
He remembered the journey vividly, how different the South had seemed compared to the North. The air was warmer, the colors more vibrant. He had wandered through the lush gardens, marveling at the flowers and plants that couldnât survive the harsh winters of Winterfell. It was in those gardens that he first saw her.
Y/n had been around his age, a vision of beauty even then. She sat on a stone bench, engrossed in a book, her expression serene and detached. Her hair, shining in the sunlight, cascaded down her shoulders, and her delicate features were framed by the backdrop of blooming flowers. She seemed almost like a fairytale princess, so enchanting that he could scarcely believe she was real.
Without even realizing it his feet began to move on their own, he was like a moth being drawn to the flame that was her. As he approached her, His heart pounded in his chest, an unfamiliar but exhilarating feeling. She glanced up briefly from her book as he neared, her eyes meeting his for just a moment before returning to her reading.
âH-Helloâ he said, trying to muster as much confidence as he could. âWhat are yeh reading?â
She responded without looking up this time, her voice calm and distant. âHmm a collection of poemsâ she replied. âDo you like poetry?â
Cregan, caught off guard, nodded. âAye. Though I donât read much of it.â
She patted the space beside her, still not lifting her gaze from the pages. âYou can sit if you want.â
He sat down slowly, feeling a strange sense of destiny in that moment. She continued to read aloud, her voice weaving the words into a tapestry of emotion and beauty. He listened, captivated not by the poetry but by her otherworldliness her grace, and the way she brought the words to life. He couldnât take his eyes off her, completely in star struck, while she remained indifferent, too engrossed in her book to notice his adoration.
That was the last time they spoke just a few exchange of words. The rest of his visit to Highgarden was spent with his father and training with Y/Nâs brothers and learning the ways of a lord, much to his chagrin. But whenever he could, he would steal glances at her from a window while she read in the garden, and across from her at dinner, for which his mother often scolded him.
"Cregan, it's impolite to stare" his mother whispered sharply during dinner one evening, nudging his foot under the table.
He tore his eyes away from y/n, his cheeks burning and crimson red. "I werenât starinâ, Mother.â
âYeh most certainly wereâ she replied, her tone firm. âItâs not appropriate. Focus on yer meal.â
âBut sheâs⊠sheâs soâŠâ
âEnchantinâ?â his mother finished for him, a knowing smile tugging at her lips. âAye, she is. But yeh must remember yer manners, lad. Staring is unbecoming of a young lord.â
Cregan sighed, casting one last, fleeting glance at y/n, who was still in her own little world not casting a single glance his way. âAye, motherâŠ.â
Despite his motherâs admonitions, his fascination with Y/N only grew, even as she remained blissfully unaware of his admiration.
Cregan opened his eyes, the memory fading as the cold reality of Winterfell settled back in. He sighed, turning away from the window. Some things, he mused, never truly changed.

In the dimly lit carriage, y/n huddled under the blankets, trying to stave off the biting cold that seemed to seep through the very fabric of her clothes. Her mother sat beside her, wrapped in her own covers and trying to offer some semblance of warmth and comfort. The carriage jolted over the rough, snow covered road, and every bump made her shiver more.
Her brothers, true to their duty, were outside braving the harsh northern winter with their horses, though y/n could scarcely imagine how they managed. She, however, had the luxury of being confined to the carriage, a prisoner of her own anxieties and fears.
The stories sheâd heard about Cregan Stark haunted her thoughts. The gruff warden of the north with a claymore sword so heavy it was said to be the size of a small man. To her, the very idea of marrying such a man was nightmarish. She couldn't remember much about him from his familyâs previous visit to Highgarden all those years ago, but the tales of his fierceness and the imposing aura of the North made her dread the moment she would finally meet him.
The carriage seemed to creak with the weight of her mother's discontent. Her motherâs complaints, murmured under her breath but audible enough for y/n to hear, were laced with disdain. âI cannot believe weâve had to send our only daughter off to marry a Starkâ
âTheir way of life, covered in stinking animal pelts, living amongst brutes who value strength over grace. Itâs hardly the life for a Tyrell.â She said with disgust.
Her fatherâs stern gaze flicked towards her mother, his patience evidently wearing thin. "Weâve discussed this, Eliza. The match is made, and itâs for the good of House Tyrell. Stop lamenting what cannot be undone."
To him, this marriage was merely a strategic move, a means to secure more power for Highgarden. His daughter's feelings were of no consequence, his focus was solely on the political gain.
âDo you have to be so callous?â her motherâs voice broke through the gloom. âShe is our daughter.â
Her fatherâs gaze remained unyielding. âThe alliance with the Starks is necessary for the gain of our house. Y/n is to be a dutiful wife to a powerful lord itâs what she was raised for, if she does her duty right sheâll bear him many children further securing our powerâ
As her fatherâs harsh words continued to echo in her ears, y/nâs anger flared. She straightened up, glaring at him . âIf you wanted to gift Cregan a broodmare, you shouldâve gotten him one of the whores you visit in the brothelsâ she spat out, her voice trembling with defiance.
motherâs gasp of shock was barely audible over the creaking of the carriage. Her fatherâs eyes were wild, a hot fury flashing in them. Before y/n could react, his hand shot out, delivering a hard, stinging slap across her face. The sharp force of it made her head snap to the side, and she recoiled, stunned by the sudden violence.
âHow dare you!â her fatherâs voice roared with anger.
y/nâs mother was frozen, her hand going to her mouth in shock. She looked at her husband with a mixture of horror and helplessness. âHenry, pleaseââ
âBe silent!â he snapped, cutting her off. âI will not tolerate such insolence!â
He turned his icy gaze back to y/n, his face a mask of unrelenting severity. âYou are about to become the wife of a powerful man. you are fortunate that I secured this arrangement, otherwise you would just end up being Cregans whore in some brothel anyway.â
Y/nâs heart sank as she heard the finality in his cruel words. She knew better than to argue with himâhis decisions were made with an iron will that left no room for dissent.
as the carriage continued its slow journey through the snow, y/n's thoughts were plagued with anxiety and uncertainty. The grandeur of Winterfell loomed ahead, and with it, the reality of her new life as Cregan Starkâs bride. She could only hope that, amidst the cold and the gruffness of her new home, she might find a way to endure this new chapter of her life.

As Cregan stood by the hearth, still lost in his own thoughts, the door swung open with a crash and his friends burst in, laughter and shouts echoing through the great hall.
âCregan, ye dog! Heard the news, did we!â Jorah boomed, striding up to him and clapping him on the back with such force it nearly sent him stumbling forward.
âAye, lad, congratulations!â Gendry called out, raising his tankard high. âA Tyrell, no less! Mustâve done somethinâ right to be landinâ a lass like that.â
Cregan, smiling, shook his head as he tried to make sense of the sudden uproar. âCheers, lads. Bit early for a celebratory drink, ainât it?â
Bram, always one for a jest, stepped forward with a grin. âWell, Cregan, we heard sheâs real beauty, fairest in all the Seven Kingdoms. Quite the catch for a dog like you. Ainât right, really, a face like hers and a face like yours.â
Cregan raised an eyebrow, a grin tugging at his lips. âOh, is that so? And what about ye lot, then? All of ye been lookinâ in the mirror lately?â
The room erupted in laughter, and Bram waved a dismissive hand. âAye, we might be a rough lot, but at least we ainât got to worry âbout our faces beinâ compared to a rose.â
Robb, always quick with a quip, leaned in with a wink. âMight be true sheâll forget all âbout yer ugly mug once she gets a look at whatâs really under yer tunic. youâve got more to offer than just yer sorry looks.â
Creganâs cheeks flushed slightly, but he laughed along, trying to maintain his composure. âAh, so yeâre sayinâ itâs all in the size of me⊠character, is it?â
âAye, thatâs right!â Robb said with a grin. âBest thing about ye, Cregan, is that even if your face donât make the cut, yer other qualities surely will.â
Cregan shook his head, laughing despite himself. âWell, if itâs me âother qualitiesâ thatâll win her over, then I reckon Iâd best be makinâ sure she gets a good look at all of âem.â
Jorah slapped him on the back again, nearly sending him reeling. âLook at ye, all flustered! Never thought Iâd see the day. Donât worry, lad. What lass wouldnât want a strong Northman?â
âAye, just keep it down a bit, or youâll have me blushing so hard Iâll be usinâ me face as a lanternâ Cregan said, his grin widening.
The friends continued their banter, the atmosphere warm with camaraderie and laughter. As they raised their mugs in a final toast, Cregan felt a renewed sense of anticipation and affection for the future, no matter the teasing jabs from his mates.

The room was alive with laughter and chatter as Cregan and his friends carried on with their banter. Jorah was in the middle of a lively tale from a recent hunt, while Robb and Gendry argued over the best way to handle a particularly stubborn horse.
The door creaked open, and in walked Lady Gilliane Glover and Lord Rickon Stark, their presence immediately silencing the room. Lady Gilliane, a woman of dignified grace, and Lord Rickon, tall and commanding, made their way over to their son.
âCregan, me lad!â Lady Gilliane called out, her voice warm but authoritative. âGot a bit oâ news for ye.â
Cregan turned, a smile fading as he saw his parents. He stood, brushing his hands on his tunic. âMother, Father, what brings ye here?â
Lord Rickon gave a nod, his face a mix of seriousness and pride. âYour brother spotted Y/Nâs carriage on the road. Theyâll be arrivinâ soon.â
The room quieted, the friends sensing the shift in the mood. Jorah nudged Cregan with a grin. âLooks like the real funâs about to start, eh?â
Lady Gilliane gave a small, amused smile. âAye, thatâs right. Thought yeâd want to know. Theyâll be here within the hour, so best be ready.â
Creganâs heart raced, and he glanced at his friends, trying to mask his nerves. âWell, no time like the present, I suppose. Best get meself sorted.â
Lord Rickon placed a reassuring hand on Creganâs shoulder. âRemember, lad, first impressions count. Show her what a proper Stark man ye are.â
âAye, Father,â Cregan said, nodding. He turned to his friends with a determined look. âYe lot best behave yerselves when she arrives. Donât be givinâ her any more trouble than need be.â
The friends raised their mugs, grinning. âAye, aye, Cregan! Weâll be on our best behavior,â Robb said, winking.
Lady Gillianeâs gaze softened as she looked at her son. âWeâll leave ye to it, then. Just remember, Cregan, sheâll be as nervous as ye, if not more. Show her the warmth of the North.â
As Lady Gilliane and Lord Rickon exited the hall, Cregan took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. The anticipation of meeting Y/N was building with every tick of the clock, and he knew the coming hours would be crucial.

Y/n sat in the carriage, the stark contrast between the verdant landscapes of Highgarden and the harsh, icy expanse of Winterfell weighing heavily on her. The snow-clad scenery outside felt alien and unwelcoming compared to the lush greenery she had left behind. Each jolt of the carriage seemed to deepen her sense of displacement.
Her motherâs hand, warm and steady, was a source of comfort amid her growing anxiety. Y/N clung to it, drawing solace from its presence as she tried to quell her rising fears.
âWeâre almost there, dearâ her mother said softly, her voice a gentle balm against the cold atmosphere of the carriage. âRemember, weâre in this together.â
Y/n managed a small, appreciative smile, though it didnât quite reach her eyes. âThank you, Mother. Itâs just⊠itâs so different from home.â
Her father, ever the pillar of stoicism, was peering out the window, his gaze fixed on the approaching Winterfell.
The carriage began to slow, the crunch of snow under the wheels signaling their arrival. As they came to a stop, y/n could see her father alighting first, his figure steady and authoritative as he approached Lord Rickon Stark.
âLord Rickonâ her father said, stepping forward with a formal nod. âIt is a pleasure to see you again. Thank you for your gracious hospitality.â
Y/n and her mother remained in the carriage, the cold air seeping through the cracks in the doors. Her mother's hand squeezed hers gently, offering a fleeting moment of comfort in the face of her overwhelming anxiety.
"Mother" y/n whispered, her voice trembling. "What if I can't do this? I-Iâm scared"
Her mother turned to her, eyes filled with sympathy and understanding. "Oh, my dear, I know it seems daunting. But you have a strength within you that you may not yet realize. You have always been resilient."
Tears welled up in y/n's eyes. "I feel so far from home. Everything here is so cold, so harsh."
Her mother reached up, brushing a tear from
y/n's cheek. "I know, darling. Highgarden's warmth and beauty are hard to leave behind. But you must remember, you have the ability to adapt and thrive. This place will feel like home in time."
Y/n nodded, trying to take comfort in her mother's words, but the knot in her stomach remained tight. "And what of Father? He seems so determined, but... he never cares for how I feel."
Her mother's expression darkened momentarily before she masked it with a gentle smile. "don't let him weigh you down. Focus on yourself and your own strength. You are here to build a new life, and I believe in you."
The carriage door opened, and the cold air rushed in, a stark reminder of the world awaiting her. Her father was already engaged in conversation with Lord Rickon Stark, their voices carrying a tone of formality and mutual respect.
"It's time" her mother said softly, giving y/n's hand one last reassuring squeeze. "Show them the grace and strength you possess. You are more than capable y/n."
With a deep breath, y/n steeled herself and stepped out of the carriage. The cold air bit at her skin, but she walked forward, her mother following closely behind.
Y/n's mother nudged her gently, drawing her attention away from the imposing figure of Lord Rickon. "Y/n, dear" she whispered, "Lord Cregan is approaching you."
Y/n's heart skipped a beat as she turned to see Cregan making his way towards her. He was even taller and more formidable than she remembered, his broad shoulders and strong build making him appear larger than life. She stiffened, her body tensing with apprehension.
Cregan's eyes, a deep and thoughtful blue, met hers as he stopped before her. He could see the trepidation in her gaze, the way her hands clutched the folds of her cloak. Despite the fear evident in her demeanor, she managed to muster a polite greeting.
"Lord Cregan" she said, her voice steady but tinged with a slight tremor. "It is an honor to be here."
Cregan offered a warm smile, though he felt a pang of hurt and self-consciousness at the sight of her fear. He noticed the redness around her eyes, the telltale signs that she had been crying. The realization made his heart acheâshe was far from home, surrounded by strangers, and faced with the daunting prospect of marrying him, a man she barely remembered.
"Lady y/n" he responded, his voice gentle. "The honor is mine. Welcome to Winterfell."
Y/n nodded, her posture rigid. "Thank you, my lord."
He could see her struggling to maintain her composure, her attempts to be polite masking the underlying fear and uncertainty. He wanted to reassure her, to tell her that she was safe here with him, but he knew his words might not carry much weight given the circumstances.
"Ye must be tired from yer journey" Cregan said, trying to ease the tension. "I hope the accommodations weâve prepared for ye are to yer liking."
She glanced around, her eyes briefly meeting his before darting away. "I'm sure they will be, my lord. Thank you."
Cregan's heart softened at her evident discomfort. He could only imagine how overwhelming this experience must be for herâleaving the warmth and familiarity of Highgarden for the cold and formidable North, betrothed to an intimidating stranger.
"Please, if there is anything ye need, do not hesitate to ask," he added, his tone earnest. "I want ye to feel at home here."
Y/N nodded again, her voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you, Lord Cregan."
As the formalities continued, Cregan remained by her side, acutely aware of her apprehension. He could see the way she shivered slightly in the cold, her delicate frame dwarfed by the heavy cloak she wore. The vulnerability in her eyes struck a chord within him, igniting a protective instinct he hadnât anticipated.
He knew it would take time for her to adjust, to feel comfortable in this new and unfamiliar place. And while her fear and anxiety might hurt him, he understood the reasons behind them. She was far from home, thrust into a situation beyond her control, and he was determined to show her that she had nothing to fear.
As the crowd began to disperse, Cregan leaned in slightly, his voice low and sincere. "I hope ye will come to find Winterfell as welcoming as Highgarden, Lady y/n. We Northerners may seem cold, but we are loyal and true. Ye have my word on that."
Y/n looked up at him, her eyes searching his for a moment before she nodded, a hint of hope mingling with her fear. "âŠI will do my best."
He smiled softly, hoping to convey his sincerity. "And I will do my best to make this place a home for ye."
With that, they parted, y/n retreating to her quarters with her mother while Cregan watched her go, a mix of emotions churning within him. He was determined to prove himself to her, to show her that beneath his intimidating exterior lay a heart of gold capable of warmth and compassion.

The day of the wedding arrived, casting a serene hush over Winterfell. The godswood was adorned for the occasion, the ancient weirwood standing sentinel over the ceremony, its pale bark and blood-red leaves seeming to echo the gravity of the moment.
In her chambers, y/n adjusted her maidenâs cloak for the final time. The rich green of House Tyrellâs sigil contrasted sharply with the snowy landscape visible through the window. Her father, though distant and stern, was prepared to escort her. As they approached the godswood, y/nâs heart pounded in her chest, the weight of the moment pressing heavily on her.
Her fatherâs expression was somber, but he offered her a curt nod, signaling it was time. Together, they walked through the snow, the crunching of their footsteps the only sound breaking the silence. The guests had gathered, their breaths visible in the chill air, and they fell into a hushed reverence as y/n and her father approached the heart tree.
Cregan waited beneath the weirwood, his eyes fixed on the approaching bride. As she neared, his breath caught slightly, a mixture of awe and anticipation in his gaze. The grandeur of y/nâs beauty was amplified by the solemnity of the godswood, her presence seeming almost ethereal in the fading light.
When they reached the base of the tree, Creganâs voice rang out clearly, cutting through the stillness. âWho comes? Who comes before the gods?â
Y/nâs fatherâs voice was steady as he replied,
âY/n of House Tyrell comes here to be wed. A woman grown and flowered, trueborn and noble, she comes to beg the blessings of the gods. Who comes to claim her?â
Creganâs response was filled with a fervent resolve. âMe, Cregan of House Stark, Lord of Winterfell. I claim her. Who gives her?â
Y/nâs father turned to her, his voice formal but lacking warmth. âI, Henry of House Tyrell, her father, gives her.â
He then addressed y/n, his tone clipped. âLady y/n, will you take this man?â
Y/nâs voice trembled slightly but was resolute. âI take this man.â
With the formalities completed, Cregan and y/n joined hands and knelt before the weirwood. They bowed their heads, submitting to the gods in silent prayer. The moment was charged with a profound intimacy, the ancient tree bearing witness to their vows.
After a few moments, Cregan gently removed
y/nâs maidenâs cloak, revealing the intricate embroidery of House Tyrell on her dress. With great care, he draped over her shoulders a new cloakâthe sigil of House Stark now displayed proudly.
The crowd erupted into applause, their cheers ringing out as Cregan and y/n stood together. The ceremony was complete, the ancient bond of the godswood now symbolizing the beginning of their shared life.
As they walked back towards the castle, Cregan stole glances at y/n, his admiration and anticipation palpable. Despite the harshness of Winterfellâs climate and the gravity of their new life, the day had marked a hopeful new chapter for both of them.

Y/n's heart pounded as Cregan guided her through the cold, imposing corridors of Winterfell. The castle's heavy stone walls seemed to close in on her, amplifying her sense of isolation. Cregan's presence beside her was both comforting and intimidating, she couldnât shake the fear that gripped her heart.
They arrived at Cregan's chambers, where a warm fire crackled in the hearth, casting a soft, inviting glow. He gestured for her to enter first, and after a brief hesitation, she stepped inside.
"Please, make yerself comfortable," Cregan said, closing the door behind them. His northern accent was thick, adding a rugged charm to his words. "Would ye like somethin' to drink? A bit o' wine, mayhaps, to help ye warm up?"
Y/n nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "Yes, thank you."
Cregan poured a glass of wine and handed it to her, his gaze lingering on her as she took a small sip. He could see the tension in her posture and wanted to ease her fears, to show her that he was not the monster she imagined.
"Y/n," he began, his voice low and earnest, the thick accent wrapping each word in a soft embrace, "I know this must be overwhelmin'. I want ye to know that I understand yer fears, and I swear Iâll do everythin' in me power to make ye feel safe and cherished here."
She looked up at him, her eyes wide with a mix of apprehension and curiosity. "Thank you, my lord," she said, her voice quivering. "I⊠I don't know what to expect."
Cregan took a step closer, his gaze filled with a yearning that spoke of deep emotion. "Ye can call me Cregan" he said, the warmth in his northern accent making his words even more poignant. "And I need ye to hear me now, for itâs somethinâ Iâve carried with me for years. From the moment I first beheld ye, me heart was forever altered."
Y/n's breath hitched, her eyes searching his face for the truth behind his words. Cregan's expression was tender, his gaze reflecting a vulnerability she hadnât expected. He took a deep breath, as if gathering the courage to bare his soul.
"I remember the first time I saw ye in the gardens of Highgarden," he said softly, his voice weaving a tapestry of emotion. "I was just a lad, new to the beauty of the south. Everythinâ around me was lush and vibrant, but when I saw ye, it was as if my world fell apart. Ye were like a vision of ethereal grace amidst the greenery. The flowers and the treesâthey seemed mere shadows compared to ye. In that moment, it was clear that ye were the true beauty of the garden."
Y/n's eyes widened, and a flush of color spread across her cheeks. She could hardly breathe as she processed his confession. "Since then?" she whispered, her voice trembling.
Cregan nodded, his gaze steady and full of longing. "Aye, since then. Ye were a beacon of light in me life, and that memory has lingered, burninâ bright in me heart. Iâve longed to be near ye, not merely for the sake of duty, but because yeâve ensnared my heart in a way no one else ever could."
Her heart fluttered wildly at his words, the warmth of the fire mingling with the warmth of his confession. She had always felt like a pawn in her fatherâs game, never imagining that someone like Cregan could see her so profoundly.
"I didnât know" she said softly, her voice catching in her throat. "I thought... I thought you would be distant and cold."
Cregan's smile widened, his eyes soft with pure affection. "Aye the North may be cold, but my heart is only filled with warmth for ye. I want ye to see the real me, to know that I am here for ye with all that I am."
She looked into his eyes, seeing a depth of sincerity and yearning that shifted her perception. Perhaps this marriage could be more than a mere alliance. Maybe it could be the beginning of something profoundly beautiful.
"Thank you, CreganâŠ." she whispered, feeling a newfound sense of calm and hope. "I... I want to try."
Creganâs smile was full of warmth and relief. "Thaâs all I ask, Y/n. Weâll take this one step at a time, together."
As they stood there, hand in hand, the fire crackling softly in the hearth, Y/n felt a spark of hope ignite in her heart, seeing Cregan in a new light.
Cregan's eyes never left Y/n's as he took a deep breath, his heart pounding in his chest. He wanted this moment to be perfect, to reassure her of his intentions.
"Y/n" he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper, "may I kiss ye?"
Y/n's breath hitched, her cheeks flushing scarlet. She hesitated for a moment, then gave a small nod, her eyes never leaving his. "Yes, Cregan. You may."
Cregan moved closer, his hand gently cupping her cheeks as he leaned in. He pressed his lips to hers in a soft tender, almost hesitant kiss, his touch gentle and reassuring. Y/n responded, her initial nervousness melting away as she felt the warmth and sincerity in his kiss.
When he pulled back, he looked into her eyes, searching for any sign of discomfort. Seeing none, he smiled softly. "Ye're so beautiful, Y/n."
She blushed again, a shy smile tugging at her lips. "Thank you, Cregan."
He took her hand, leading her to the bed. As they stood beside it, he gently picked her up, cradling her in his arms. Y/n gasped softly, her arms instinctively wrapping around his neck as he carried her. He laid her down on the bed with the utmost care, as if she were the most precious thing in the world.

Cregan's gaze remained locked on Y/nâs face, his eyes filled with a deep, reverent admiration. He lowered himself beside her on the bed, his hand still cupping her cheek. âIâve never seen anyone so beautifulâ he whispered, his voice filled with awe. âI canât believe yer finally mine. My wife.â
Y/nâs heart fluttered at the sincerity in his voice. The way he looked at her made her feel cherished, his admiration lighting a fire within her. Her apprehension melted away as she reached up, cupping his face in return. âAnd Iâm grateful to be yours, Cregan.â
Their lips met again, this time with more fervor. The kiss deepened as Creganâs hand slid to the back of her neck, pulling her closer. Y/nâs hands roamed over his shoulders, pulling him into the kiss with equal intensity. The warmth of his touch, combined with the gentle urgency of their embrace, made her feel as if she was floating.
Creganâs breath mingled with hers as he pulled back slightly, his forehead resting against hers. âIâve wanted this so muchâ he whispered. âIâve wanted ye.â
Y/nâs eyes fluttered shut, overwhelmed by the intensity of his gaze and the sincerity of his words. She felt a new, desperate longing surge within her, her body responding to his touch with an eagerness she hadnât expected. âPlease, Creganïżœïżœïżœ she breathed out, her voice trembling with emotion.
Their lips met again, each kiss more passionate than the last. The world outside seemed to fade away as they lost themselves in the moment, their breaths coming in sync as their yearning for each other deepened with every touch.
Cregan's kisses grew more intense, his touch transforming from gentle caresses to an urgent, burning desire. He pulled back just enough to look into Y/n's eyes, his own dark with passion. "I want to see all of ye, to feel ye" he said softly, his voice rough with need.
With deliberate care, he started to undress, his movements slow and deliberate. He tossed his cloak aside, revealing his strong muscular frame. Y/n's breath caught in her throat as she watched him, his hardened form visible through his small clothes, making her heart race with a mix of anticipation and nervous excitement.
Cregan's hands moved to his shirt, sliding it off with a practiced ease. His gaze remained locked on Y/n as he undressed, his eyes filled with a burning intensity. His hands lingered on the waistband of his smallclothes, his hardness evident and stirring a deep, aching longing within Y/n.
When he was finally freed his cock, Cregan approached Y/n with a tender but determined expression. He reached for her cloak, slipping it off her shoulders and letting it fall to the floor. His fingers moved deftly to her dress, his touch gentle but purposeful as he began to unlace it.
The fabric fell away, revealing her bare chest to his gaze. Cregan's breath caught at the sight, his eyes roaming over her exposed skin with a mixture of reverence and desire.
"Ye're stunning," he whispered, his voice filled with awe. "I want to cherish every part of ye."
Yn's skin tingled under his gaze, her heart pounding as she felt both exposed and cherished.
Cregan's hands continued their exploration, his touch both reverent and possessive. He leaned in to kiss her again, his lips trailing hot, desperate kisses across her neck and shoulders.
His hands roamed over her bare skin, his touch igniting a fierce desire within her. She gasped, her body arching into his touch, as he pressed her into the bed with a controlled but eager force. His kisses became more fervent, his hands gripping her waist as he explored her body with a possessive urgency.
"I've longed for this moment" Cregan said between kisses, his voice rough with need.
Yn responded with equal fervor, her hands gripping his shoulders as she kissed him back with a desperate passion. "Show me, Cregan" she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.
"Show me how much you want me."
The room was filled with the sounds of their mingled breaths and wet sloppy kisses as they lost themselves in the moment. Cregan's touch was a blend of tenderness and raw desire, each movement and kiss building a profound connection that left them both breathless and yearning for more.
As the kiss deepened, Cregan's touch grew more urgent, his hands roaming over Y/n's body with increasing desperation. His kisses, once tender and exploratory, became more demanding, his breaths ragged as he tried to control his growing desire. Yet, despite the intensity of their embrace, Cregan seemed to hold back, his movements tinged with an inner struggle to remain gentle.
Y/n could sense his restraint and the tension in his body. She was overwhelmed by the fire burning within her, her own desire driving her to push past his tentative touches.
"Cregan" she gasped between kisses, her voice trembling with need. "I want you. I want you to claim me fully."
Cregan's breath hitched, his eyes dark with a mix of surprise and longing. "Y/n... I-I don't want to hurt ye" he murmured, his voice strained as he tried to keep his composure, he promised himself that he would be gentle, only touching her as if she were made of the most delicate glass and now heâd already been more rough than he intended.
But Y/n's voice was resolute, her gaze fixed on him with a desperate intensity. "No, Cregan. I want you to make me yours completely.â She whined, but she saw the look on his eyes he wouldnât relent unless she pushed him towards his breaking point. âI want you to fuck a baby into me. I need you pleââ
Cregan didn't let you finish. His lips crashed against yours in a kiss that ignited a wildfire within. He held your face tenderly yet firmly, his touch a lifeline as you clung to him, desperate for more. His tongue explored the depths of your mouth, tasting every inch with a hunger that bordered on feral.
The clash of your teeth, the fervor of your kiss, it was a battle, a dance of dominance that you were willing to lose.
Cregan's tongue delved deeper, drawing a breathless moan from you. His scent enveloped you, intoxicating and heady, making your knees buckle with longing. It was as if the tether to your senses was fraying, leaving you to melt into a molten pool beneath his commanding presence.
The heat coursing through your body was a familiar sensation, yet it had never burned this intensely. It surged through you, tightening your nipples and pooling between your thighs, setting every nerve aflame.
Lost in the haze of his searing kisses, you scarcely noticed when he eased your back farther onto the bed, his body a solid, protective weight above you. Your eyes met, a silent conflagration passing between you, before he claimed your lips again with a gentler fervor, the same intensity simmering beneath the surface.
"Do you truly want this? With me?" Cregan's voice was a hushed murmur against your lips, a plea and a promise intertwined.
"Yes, husband" you breathed, the words a vow of your own.
His lips brushed your ear, his breath a tantalizing whisper that sent shivers cascading down your spine. "I am going to make love to ye now."
Your nipples hardened at his words, a raw moan of anticipation escaping your lips as he took in your form, the vulnerable softness of your skin a feast for his hungry gaze.
Cregan lowered his head, his lips tracing a path of fire down your neck, over your collarbone, each kiss a desperate silent vow. His hands followed, exploring, caressing, leaving no inch of you untouched.
"Yer exquisite" he murmured, his voice a reverent whisper against your skin. His touch was a balance of possession and adoration, a worship that left you breathless.
The cool air kissed your overheated skin as he continued to explore you, Every touch, every kiss, was a symphony of sensations, a crescendo of passion that left you aching for more.
his eyes drinking in the sight of you, slowly consumed with lust for him, with a reverence that made your heart stutter. "My wife" he whispered, the words a sacred incantation.
Cregan leaned in, capturing your lips once more in a kiss that was both fierce and possessive. His hands roamed your body with a fervent curiosity, memorizing every curve, every dip, leaving a trail of molten fire in their wake.
Your body responded to him, arching into his touch, a silent plea for more.
His kisses grew more insistent, his touch more demanding, as he made his way down your body. He worshipped you with every kiss, every caress, until you were trembling with need beneath him.
"Cregan," you breathed, your voice a soft plea.
His eyes met yours, dark and intense. "I'm here, Y/n" he murmured, his voice a soothing balm. "I'm here."
Cregan's gaze was fixed on your taut, aching nipples. He wasted no time, his heated mouth enveloping one of your tight, sensitive peaks. You gasped as your back arched in response, the initial shock of his touch quickly melting into a rhythm of pleasure.
Each time his cheeks hollowed as he suckled, your gasps turned to desperate pants, while his fingers teased the other abandoned nipple, pulling and twisting it gently.
Cregan's mouth pulling harder on your nipple, his tongue lavishing attention on the delicate bud. Every flick of his tongue sent waves of sensation through you, stirring a throbbing need between your legs.
The pulsing ache demanded more, and your hand, almost involuntarily, slipped between your thighs. The damp evidence of your desire left you breathless and mortified.
"Show me yer hand" Cregan's voice rumbled, his tone firm.
"It's... it's embarrassing-"
Without hesitation, Cregan parted your thighs and deftly removed your small clothes, leaving you exposed before him. His gaze settled on your glistening core, and a satisfied smile tugged at his lips.
"C-cregan!"
"Y/n" he murmured, his eyes locking onto yours with a mix of adoration and hunger.
"Ye've got the prettiest little cunt."
his words made your entire face burn and turn a dark crimson. The raw honesty in his voice left you breathless, your heart pounding in your chest.
âD-donât look so closely!â
Without wasting another moment, he lowered his head between your thighs, his hot breath ghosting over your sensitive flesh.
your body trembling with need. When his tongue finally made contact, a moan escaped your lips, your hands gripping the sheets beneath you.
Cregan's tongue moved with practiced skill, each stroke and flick sending waves of pleasure coursing through you. His lips latched onto your clit, sucking gently before releasing it with a soft pop, only to dive back in with renewed fervor.
The lewd slurping sounds filled the room, mixing with your breathless moans and the crackling of the fire.
Your thighs quivered, the sensation of his mouth on you pushing you closer to the edge. "Cregan" you gasped loudly, your voice shaking. "Please, don't stop."
He didn't need to be told twice. His tongue delved deeper, exploring every inch of your soaking wet cunt, his fingers joining in to tease and caress. The combined sensations were overwhelming, your body arching off the bed as you rode the waves of pleasure.
When you finally came, it was with a cry of his name, your body convulsing as the orgasm ripped through you. Cregan didn't relent though, his tongue continuing its relentless assault, lapping up your juices with a moan, prolonging your climax until you were a trembling, breathless mess.
Only then did he pull back, his lips glistening with your arousal, his eyes dark with desire.
He moved up your body, his hands bracing on either side of your head as he leaned down to capture your lips in a searing kiss.
You could taste yourself on his lips, the intimate act deepening the connection between you.
But it still wasnât enough for you, gathering your courage, you whispered, "Cregan?"
His eyes opened, soft and warm as they met yours. "Aye, love?"
You bit your lip, feeling a flush creep up your cheeks. "Can I... can I touch you?"
A spark of interest flared in his eyes, and he propped himself up on one elbow, looking down at you. "Touch me? Where?" He said teasingly.
You swallowed hard, your gaze dropping to where his cock lay, painfully hard and twitching. "There" you whined softly, reaching out tentatively.
Cregan's lips curved upwards. "Aye, love. Ye can touch me."
Your hand wrapped around his shaft, the heat of him searing your palm. You marveled at the feel of his skin, so smooth and yet so firm beneath your touch. Cregan's breath hitched, his muscles tensing as you explored him.
"Like this?" you asked, looking up at him for guidance.
He nodded, his voice rough with restraint.
"Aye, just like that. A bit firmer, love."
You tightened your grip slightly, your hand moving up and down his length in slow, deliberate strokes. The sight of him, so vulnerable and exposed, filled you with a heady sense of power and intimacy.
Cregan's hand covered yours, guiding your movements. "Tha's it, love. Yer doin' so well" he moaned, his voice laced with praise and pleasure.
As you continued to stroke him, you noticed a bead of precum forming at the tip. The sight of it, glistening and inviting, sparked a boldness within you. You couldnât help yourself, you leaned forward, your tongue darting out to lick it away. Cregan groaned loudly, his hips bucking
involuntarily at the sensation.
"Fuck! Y/n" he gasped, his hand tightening around yours.
"Do that again."
You obliged, your tongue swirling around the thick head of his cock, tasting the salty essence of him. The act felt both daring and incredibly arousing, each lick eliciting a new sound of pleasure from Cregan.
Encouraged by his response, you took him deeper into your mouth, your lips closing around his shaft as you began to bob your head.
You were still unaccustomed to his size though, what you couldnât fit in your mouth you stroked with your hand.
Cregan's hand tangled in your hair, guiding your movements as you pleasured him.
"Ye're so fuckinâ good to me, love" he groaned, his voice thick with need. "So perfect."
The praise spurred you on, your pace quickening as you took him deeper, your hand stroking the base of his cock in time with your movements. Cregan's breaths grew ragged, his body tense with the effort to hold back.
When he finally came, it was with a guttural moan, his release bursting in your mouth.
You swallowed eagerly, wanting to take all of him, to show him the same pleasure he had given you.
As you pulled back, you looked up at him, your eyes wide and full of adoration.
Cregan's chest heaved, his eyes glazed with satisfaction as he pulled you into his arms, his lips capturing yours in a searing kiss.
But the night was far from over and the hunger in his eyes told you he was far from satisfied. You felt a renewed wave of desire wash over you, your body eager for more of him.
"Are ye ready for more, love?" he asked, his voice husky with desire. His hand trailed down your body, caressing your breasts and waist, finally coming to rest between your legs.
His fingers teased your wetness, a satisfied smile tugging at his lips. "Yer so wet for me."
You nodded, your breath hitching as he continued to stroke you. "Yes, Cregan. I want you. I want you to take me."
His eyes darkened with a primal need, and he positioned himself between your legs, spreading them wide. "I'll be gentle at first, love," he promised, guiding his cock to your entrance.
"But I won't be able to hold back for long."
You felt the tip of his cock pressing against you, and your heart raced with anticipation.
He pushed forward slowly, entering you with a smooth, deliberate motion. The sensation was overwhelming, a mix of pleasure and painful sting as he stretched you to accommodate his large size.
Cregan's eyes never left yours, his gaze filled with love and desire. "Yer so tight, love. So perfect" he groaned, pushing deeper until he was fully seated inside you.
The feeling of being completely filled by him was indescribable, a blend of fullness and heat that made you gasp. "Cregan," you moaned, your hands clutching at his shoulders.
He began to move, his thrusts slow and gentle at first, allowing you to adjust to the sensation. But as your moans grew louder and your hips began to move in time with his, his restraint faltered. His pace quickened, each thrust deeper and harder than the last.
"You feel so good, Y/n," he growled, his voice rough with need. "I can't hold back any longer."
You wrapped your legs around his waist, pulling him closer as he pounded into you.
The force of his thrusts drove you higher, making the bed hit the walls roughly, a testament to how greedily he was fucking into you.
Cregan shifted his position, lifting your legs higher and pressing them against your chest. The new angle allowed him to penetrate you even deeper, and you screamed his name as he took you harder.
"That's it, love. Take all of my cock," he urged, his eyes locked on your face, watching your every reaction.
The pressure built within you, the pleasure mounting to an unbearable peak. With a final, powerful thrust, you shattered, your orgasm crashing over you in waves. Your body convulsed around him, gripping his cock as he continued to drive into you.
Cregan was relentless, his own release building. He flipped you onto your stomach, pulling you onto your hands and knees. He entered you from behind, his hands gripping your hips as he pounded into you with abandon.
"Fuck, Y/n" he groaned, his voice a rough whisper. "I'm gonna fill ye up. Every last drop."
Cregan's movements became more erratic as he neared his release, his breathing heavy and labored. You could feel the tension building within him, every muscle in his body coiling tighter and tighter. His thrusts grew deeper, more powerful, and you knew he was close.
With a final, powerful thrust, Cregan's hips stilled, pressing deep inside you. His entire body tensed, and he let out a loud, guttural groan, his face contorted in pleasure. You could feel the hot rush of his cum filling you, pulse after pulse, more than you had ever imagined. The sheer volume of it overwhelmed you, a torrent of heat flooding your insides.
"Fuck, Y/n," he groaned, his voice rough with satisfaction. "Take all of it. Every last drop."
He held himself inside you for a moment longer, his cock throbbing with each spurt of cum. Then, slowly, he began to pull out, the sensation almost too much to bear. As he withdrew, you felt a gush of his cum ooze out of you, warm and thick.
Cregan watched, mesmerized, as his release leaked from your entrance. The sight seemed to ignite something primal in him, and he quickly brought his fingers to your dripping core. He gently pushed two fingers inside you, making sure to plug the flow.
"Can't let it go to waste" he murmured, his voice a mix of possessiveness and tenderness. "Want every drop to stay inside ye."
His fingers moved within you, ensuring his cum was thoroughly spread.
You felt another wave of pleasure as he gently massaged your sensitive walls, the sensation of being so full and claimed by him overwhelming you. Cregan leaned down, kissing the small of your back, his breath warm against your skin. "Yer mine, Y/n. All mine," he whispered, his fingers still inside you, holding his seed in place.
You lay there, breathless and trembling, feeling utterly claimed and cherished by him.
Cregan slowly withdrew his fingers, ensuring that every drop of his cum remained inside you. He gently flipped you onto your back, his eyes filled with an intensity that made your heart race.
As he settled beside you, his strong arms wrapped around your body, pulling you close. His warmth enveloped you, a comforting contrast to the cool air of the room.
He pressed his lips to your forehead, a tender kiss that lingered. Then, he moved to your cheeks, planting soft, loving kisses on each one. His lips brushed your nose, and then he found your lips, kissing you with a gentleness that was almost reverent.
"Y/n" he murmured between kisses, his voice filled with emotion. "I'm so glad ye're mine."
You felt a swell of affection in your chest, the sweetness of his words and the tenderness of his touch filling you with a profound sense of belonging. You wrapped your arms around him, holding him close as he continued to kiss you.
Cregan's kisses were endless, each one a declaration of his love and devotion. He kissed your eyelids, your temples, your jawline, and your chin, his lips exploring every inch of your face with a loving intensity that made you feel cherished beyond measure.
"You're so beautiful," he whispered, his breath warm against your skin. "So perfect. I want to spend every moment of our lives together, showing ye how much I adore ye."
He held you tighter, his hands stroking your hair, your back, your sides. His touch was soothing, a balm to your still-racing heart.
The rough, demanding lover from moments ago was now a gentle giant, cradling you in his arms with infinite care.
Cregan pulled back slightly, his eyes searching yours. "Are ye alright, love?" he asked, his voice soft with concern. "Did I hurt ye?"
You shook your head, smiling up at him. "No, Cregan. You were perfect. I'm more than alright."
His expression softened even further, a look of relief washing over his face. "Good," he whispered, pressing another kiss to your lips. "I'll always take care of ye, Y/n. Always."
You nestled closer to him, resting your head on his broad chest. The rhythmic beat of his heart was a comforting lullaby, and you felt a deep sense of contentment wash over you.
A red rose grew up out of ice frozen ground with no one around to see it. The thought lingered in your mind, a symbol of the unexpected beauty and love that had blossomed between you.
Cregan continued to kiss you, his lips never straying far from your skin, as he held you in a protective, loving embrace.
In that moment, you knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you would face them together. Cregan's sweet, endless kisses and his tender words were a promise of a future filled with love, passion, and unwavering devotion.

the lovers â aegon targaryen
summary ... aegon had never known the tender touch of love, from the cradle as a babe, he was cursed to be unlovable. his mother held no love for him, only the safety he provided her. his father never spared him a glance, to sickness struck to see past his golden daughter. his siblings were indifferent to him, never really having the want to dig past his drunkard front. but then came her... aegon never understood why she loved him, what she saw in him that others could not, what he could not see in himself. but thank the gods above, there was nothing he wouldn't do to keep her devotion, because the unlovable had finally found someone who loved him; and who he loved in turn. pairing ... aegon ii targaryen x tyrell!reader (wife reader) warnings ... self loathing, talks of being unlovable, strained family dynamics, targcest (mentioned, but not seen), hurt/comfort, angst, trying to heal from unhealthy relationships, mentions of drinking, supportive wife mode note ... I want this fictional man a healthy amount, as you can clearly see. I might make some more things for this couple in the future, cause they've been on my mind for a loooong time. I just want to love this man for a second, after the shit storm they put him through this season. Let me know if you want more of aegon x tryell!reader, perhaps some smut between these two lovers đđ«¶đ»
â â â Voices spoke muffled words around Aegon, drowning him in their monotonous sounds, unimportant and distant from his thoughts. Aegon knew he should have been listening to his merriment of council members, they were talking about the needs of the realm, the wants of the smallfolk, the unwarranted needs of the already wealthy lords and ladies in his court, the impending doom awaiting them across the sees, with his sister plotting to take the crown from his very head.
The crown she was once promised, The Realms Delight was worlds away now, and the crown snuggly sat upon Aegon's head, the doing of the Mother and Grandsire, the controlling hands that guided Aegon under the guise of their affection and want to see him succeed, to bring the promised peace Viserys once spoke about.
But Aegon knew better now.
His mother held no love for her eldest son. She held him at arms length, with contempt, her lips pursed as if she couldn't ever fathom smiling at her own son. With a faux guiding hand, never reaching for a tender touch, only a harsh slap to awaken him from thoughts of straying from the path laid out for him. Alicent Hightower liked to believe she loved her children to the best of her ability, but Aegon knew better, knew that her love came with conditions, and Aegon's was to keep the safety of her family, even if he was killed in the process.
His Grandsire was a bitter old man, who reached above his station as hand of the king, all but ready to snatch the crown from Aegon himself. He was the driving force for Aegon's ascension, seeing the malleable drunk as a way to reach his ultimate prize, to be King through Aegon. There wasn't a bone in Otto Hightower that cared for Aegon past the power he could bring him.
Aegon could hear his mothers docile voice, sweeter than those of the men whom sat around her. Her words blurred into a flurry of movement, her lips parts around the words he wasn't taking in.
He watched his mother. Seeing his lips in her mirror image, full and pink, a slight downtick in the right corner, a frown always threatening to take her tender disposition by the throat. He could see the shape of her eyes, wide like a doe, but all innocence was washed away by a bland rage that barely simmered beneath their dark pools of amber liquid, subdued and boring. She could see her picking at the skin of her nailbeds, a bad habit she never outgrew in her youth, a habit she passed onto Aegon, if his red and raw nails were a certain sign.
He could see so much of himself in Alicent, in his own mother, a mirror into Aegon's soul. But all she could see in Aegon was his father, and she despised him for it.
His gaze traversed from his mother, to the stoic statue was his brother. Foreboding and concealed all at the same time, Aemond was a fearsome foe.
Aemond spoke little, hums of approval passed his sealed lips, displeased puffs of air fled from his nose. When words did leave his lips, they were precise, vicious and cold in the manner, strait to the point, never one to flounder and flaunt with unnecessary grandeur. He spoke as if he were a worldlier man, knew the bitterments was war and what was required to secure their victory, through fire and blood, through destruction and death. Aegon didn't know if it meant their own destruction or their foes, Aemond's want for power knew now bounds.
It's what desired him to his Grandsire.
He saw a likeness in Aemond that he didn't see in Aegon, and he held hatred and resentment for his oldest grandson.
Aemond paid no mind to Aegon, as if he was not there, the chare beneath him empty, no figurehead to be seen. He spoke to the counsel with the convection of a King, hand perched on the hilt of his sword, as if ready to strike at any given moment, lest one of the lords spoke against him, as if it were treason.
As young boys, Aegon and Aemond were like most boys he supposed. They poked and prodded at one another, until one of them bled, pleading for the other for mercy, running and crying to their mother. Often it was Aegon tormenting Aemond for his lack of dragon, for being the boring little know it all, smacking him against in the training yard in the name of bettering his skills, but Aegon wanted his little brother to feel even just a moment of the bitter resentment he felt feasting in his insides, sloshing around with the sweetened wine he drank himself into a stupor with.
He wanted his brother to feel small, unwanted, unloved, just as he felt. But no matter what Aegon did, his brother would always have their mother behind him, caressing his with the tender touch he craved. The lick his wounds with her tender voice, chaste kisses to the crown to his head, all the while berating Aegon in the same breath.
Aegon knew he shouldn't have treated Aemond so, they were both circumstance of their family, they were the only people who could truly understand each other, but resentment flooded Aegon's bones, strengthening his hatred for everyone whom shared his blood, and couldn't taste the bitter bite of his flesh.
Aemond resented Aegon for what he was given, just because he had the audacity to be born first. He was given the crown of their founding family, he was given the undeserving respect of the smallfolk, he was given the time and energy the the King's counsel. He was given the best tutors and training teachers, but he never respected what has trust upon him, not in the way Aemond would have welcomed him. Now his brothers days were spent on the throne he desired so, drunk in his cups and stupidly stuttering around like the idiot Aemond has always known Aegon to be.
Aegon leaned back in his uncomfortable chair, hand reaching out to play with the ball before him, the marble feeling cool beneath his heated palms. He felt as of he were just melting into the wood beneath him, and no one seemed to notice.
Except...
A hand reached for his arm, a delicate little thing, decorated with gentle rings that glimmered in the afternoon light, shimmering shades of glittering gold, azure blue and brilliant emerald. The smooth skin of a palm caressed his forearm, thumb digging into the malleable skin beneath his wrist, as if she knew he was slowly floating away, grounding him to this moment, to her touch.
Oh but she....
She was a marvellous thing. Aegon hadn't seen anything so precious in his life, so delicate, so wonderfully beautiful. There weren't enough words in the world for Aegon to describe her, nothing could ever truly do her justice, and he had tried, many a times, much to her amusement.
The Lady Tyrell had been a gift Aegon knew he wasn't deserving of, it was as if the gods were cursing him to gaze upon the mirror of the Maiden, but never being good enough, strong enough, smart enough to be worthy of even a glimpse in his direction. Aegon would only think himself lucky enough to dream about her gentle touch, to be the lucky man whom would receive her affection, to have her smile at him in a manner he'd never seen a maiden smile before.
Her smile started small, only an upward pulling in the right corner of her lips, inch by inch, her pretty pink lips would stretch in the most delicious curve, revealing the pearls of her teeth, little creased would dip in the skin of her cheeks as she would freely smile, a crinkle would form in her nose, her eyes would glitter with a golden looking happiness, as if you were the centre of her world in that very moment, the very reason she was smiling, like you were the only thing that could make her happy.
Aegon wished he could bottle the feeling her smile encapsulated, pure and true happiness unlike anything Aegon has felt before.
How could a persons smile be so contagious?
Despite his reservations, the Lady Tyrell held no contempt for him. She gazed upon him as if she were seeing him for what he was and she was willing to accept him, bitter soul and all.
The Lady Tyrell squeezed his arm, only once, and it was enough to have Aegon retreating from the narrow tunnel he was burrowing himself into. His gazed picked up from the marble to look upon the visage of his wife.
His Wife.
They'd been married when they were ten and three respectively, much to young to be married, but as is the way Aegon supposed. He hadn't even been given the chance to speak with her, before it was announced in the King's Counsel that they were to be married.
But they've come a long way from those scared children they had been all those years ago.
But the one thing that hadn't changed, was the devotion and love she had bestowed upon Aegon. Day in and day out, there wasn't a moment in time where she didn't love him.
"Perhaps the counsel should take a breath" Her melodic voice pierced through his muffled thoughts, like it always did, his every being was tuned into every sound and moment she made.
"Pardon, your grace?" Lord Lannister paused a moment, looking at her with a look of confusion.
"You have been discussing for hours now" She mildly replied, keeping an easy smile on her lips, looking like the pliant woman they demanded she be. "If we were to be attacked by our foes, they would have done so already, surely you all see this"
"Just because it hasn't happened, does not mean it will not happen" Otto Hightower's condescending voice bounced around the room, looking down upon the Lady Tyrell, as if she were a speck of dirt on his boot.
Aegon clenched his fist, loathing that she was rained down upon by Otto's hatred because she was connected to Aegon.
She never seemed to waiver beneath his gaze, nodding demurely at the Hand, as if she were bending to his whims.
"I do not disagree my Lord" She announced. "But perhaps we have spoken on the themes of war for much to long"
"Your Grace, forgive me for speaking so candidly--"
"Then do not"
All eyes turned to Aegon, who for the first time since the counsel had gathered, had found himself voicing the words that had been rattling around in the back of his throat.
"The Queen has excused you" Aegon bluntly replied, leaning further back in his seat, pulling his arm along with him, turning it just so, allowing his palm to slide right along her. Their fingers gliding together like magnets pulling them together, locking them in place.
Aegon relished the feeling of her warm palm beneath his own, smooth skin against his own rough calloused skin, like silk against leather. The cool metal of her rings biting into his warm skin, a zinging shock to his system.
"Aegon, the counsel needs to speak about--" Alicent tried to gage her son back into the conversation, but Aegon was already detached from everything that was her.
"Your King has dismissed you" Aegon interrupted his mother.
Aegon looked to his mother, seeing her lips parted in surprise. She wasn't used to Aegon snapping at her so, he had always been so willing to bow to his mother, wishing for her affection in return.
But he now knew what love without restraints and conditions tasted like, he craved the affections of his wife, whom would willingly allow him to be loved without limits.
"Fuck off" Aegon waved off the counsel.
He didn't even watch as each member grumbled up their breath about something or the other. He didn't notice the shared look of concern on his Mother and Grandsires faces, he didn't see the glare Aemond had wagered his way, icy and void of any brotherly affection. He didn't see any of it, and if he had, he wasn't sure he would care.
Not when she was gazing upon him as she always had.
With love.
"You may have been too crass my love" She smiled as the last of the counsel left the room, the foreboding doors slamming closed behind Otto Hightower himself, sealing himself out of reach of the King.
"They are a bunch of power hungry cunts" Aegon shrugged.
"Be that as it may" She conceded with a soft smile. She pushed herself from her seat, keeping her hand within Aegon's, walking around her corner of the table, until she was standing directly beside the chair Aegon was currently lounging in. "They are here because they support your cause"
Aegon huffed a breath through his nose.
He used their connected hand to haul his wife's body into his lap, she fell willingly into his embrace, wrapping her free arm around his shoulders.
"I do not wish to speak about them anymore" Aegon announced, shifting his wife further into his lap, until the side of her body was pressed firmly against his chest, the warmth of her body radiating through the thick fabric of her dress.
"Then we shall not" She decided, resting her forehead against his temple.
In this moment, Aegon hadn't ever imagine he would feel a love like this. He couldn't have ever pictured someone would love him for what he was, not for what he could give them.
He placed a gentle kiss against her cheek, enticing a soft smile to paint her pink lips.
Whatever god had decided to bring the two lovers together, he was praying that nothing would bring them apart.

Word Count: 7,287
A/N: Really milking softer Aemond bc I'm pretty sure I'm going to take a break from him once s2 is released.
Heâs broken beyond repair. Too far gone to be saved. Aemond knew fully well that is how the others see him. The boy who had his eye taken was never the same. Darkness was his only solace, the walls too far up that no one dared to scale it and reach the true himâ simply taking the dark and villainous scrap of his true self that he was willing to give. All seemed to give up on himâ simply let him drown in his darkness, except you.Â
Like all things good, you came unexpectedly. You were a mere visitor from Highgarden, a noble lady who came with your lord father as he tended to business in the capitol. Aemond could never understand how you looked at everything and everyone with rose-colored glasses, but he supposed he should be grateful because if that trusting naivety in you were lost, your light would never come close to his looming darkness.Â
âWho is that?â Aemond asked his familyâs most trusted knight, Ser Criston Cole. Your figure caught his attention; it was as if you were floating along the gardens of his home. A small smile on your face and flowers adorned in your hair. He stood near the balcony, discussing important business with the knight, when his train of thought was lost and captured by your mere presence. âLady Tyrell, her father has business here with the crown,â the knight said absentmindedly. Aemond nodded and took one last glance at you before walking away.Â
The thought of you was quickly forgotten by the prince. He saw your presence as just another to add to the list of nobles at court who cowered upon his stature. However, you lingered in the back of his mind as he often saw glimpses of you walking through the halls of his home. Aemond stood in the gardens once more, this time waiting for his sister and her children when he caught your eyes. He waited for fear and apprehension to present themself in your orbs, the same reactions he would elicit from everyone. However, the prince was taken aback as you smiled at him. A small, respectable smile before you stole your eyes and continued to your promenading.
Aemond blinked his eye rapidly, trying to discern if he saw correctly or if it was a cruel trick made by his impaired vision. Aemond pursed his lips as he felt himself walk towards where you had passed. There was this odd pull about youâ more than your beauty; if it was just that, a comely face was never one to put the prince in a trance. It was an ethereal element that beguiled Aemond quickly. He had not even spoken to you, yet you had already managed to put such an effect on him.Â
He watched from a distance as you bent down and assessed a flower, your fingers caressing the velvety petal and bringing it to your nose to discern the fragrance of it. Aemond felt that pull once more, his feet carrying him closer to you. When you stood straight, your brows raised in surprise as you had noticed you were no longer alone. âMy prince,â You greeted with a curtsy, his silvery locks the warning sign that you spoke to royalty. Aemond was rendered silent, his mind already spinning at the sound of your voice. What was this? He could not explain what had overcome him. You bit your lip as no greeting left the princeâs lips, him only staring at you with an unreadable expression on his angular face. âAre⊠are you well, my prince?â You asked, daring to step closer and take hold of his arm to examine if he was truly well.Â
You watched as his lips parted and closed, no sound leaving it. âPerhaps you should find some shade; the heat may be too unbearable,â You say quietly and never take your hold off his arm, guiding him towards the shade of a willow tree in concern. Aemond was screaming at himself on the inside, hating that he was making a fool of himself, that he couldnât even speak, simply letting you guide him towards the shade and making him sit on a bench. Your concern for his well-being consumes your face and his being. âDo you wish for refreshment, perhaps wââ Aemond shook his head as he finally regained his senses.Â
You chewed on your cheek as the prince stood. âI am fine; I apologize for theâ the intrusion, Lady Tyrell,â He said stoically, and you shook your head and smiled at him. âNo need for apologies, my prince; no intrusion was made. But are you certain that you are well⊠you look a bit pale, my prince.â You say and quickly regret it as your mind reminds you that maybe that was just his true complexion. You swallowed thickly as you saw him pursed his lips, fearing that you had offended the prince. Aemond did not know how to take this concernâ this kindness that he was never the receiver of. âI am quite well; good day, my lady.â He walked away in haste as he feared that if he stayed longer in your presence, he would make a further fool of himself. You stood there in confusion; your lips parted as the prince almost ran from you.Â
The thought of you haunted Aemond until the night, his arm still tingling from where you had placed your touch. He replayed the scene in his mind over and over again, trying to convince himself that your concern was fictitiousâ that it was a ploy to be in the good graces of the prince. But as he recalled the way your eyes bore into his, nothing but sincerity was evident in your orbs. How are you this kind? To a stranger, no less. Aemond was restless as he lay in his bed; his mind kept conjuring your interaction in the gardens, refusing him any other thought than you.Â
When morning came, Aemond had made great lengths to avoid you, silently embraced as he had made a fool of himself in the gardens. As his training ended, Aemond tried to find reprieve from the loud keep in the library. Aemond believed he was successful in his avoidance of you, but as he stood by the threshold of the silent room, he saw, as you were seated in one of the chairs, a book in your hand as you silently read. His presence was still not noticed. He could easily slip away and be successful in his avoidance of you, yet, just like the other days, his body could not help but be pulled towards you.Â
When you noticed a presence standing before where you sat, you flickered your gaze upward and locked eyes with the prince once more. âPrince Aemond,â You acknowledge and move to stand to greet him, but he silently raises his hand and hinders your actions. You copied his silence as he took the seat across from you. You traveled your gaze through the library, uncertain what to say or do. âI hope you are feeling better,â You say quietly. Aemond licked his lips as he was subjected to your dazzling presence once more; even though he had willed himself to avoid it, it seemed you were inevitable.Â
âI am; I was simply tired,â He said, making certain to place coldness in his tone, hoping it would deter you and no longer present him with your kindness he stubbornly took as deception. Aemond felt his breath catch as you gave him another smile. A relieved smile for his well-being that was so genuine that he could not stubbornly convince himself that it was not.Â
You stayed silent as you felt that that was what the prince preferred. You tried to return to your reading, but his velvety voice sounded through the room. âWhat business did you have here?â He asked. Aemond was testing you, presenting you with his cold and calloused self to see if it would have any effect on you just like it did the other. He watched calculatingly as your lips parted, and he found trouble to remove his gaze from your plush lips. âIf I am being honest, I am not quite certain, my prince.â You said truthfully. You watched him raise his brow at you to explain further. âMy father has business he needed to tend to here, but he had not disclosed to me the reason for it or why I needed to join.â Aemond nodded and watched as your eyes were never removed from his gaze, surprised that you could hold onto his intensified stare.Â
âSo you have no purpose here?â He asked harshly. He expected a frown or a look of offense on your face, but he watched as you smiled as if you were amused and shrugged, âI suppose not.â Aemond stayed silent and continued to asses you as you returned to your reading.Â
âDo you like philosophy, Prince Aemond?â You asked after a stretch of silence, unable to bear the eerie and suffocating quiet. Aemond took a moment before he answered your query that no one had been interested in asking him before. âI do,â Another small smile appeared on your lips as you nodded. âThen have you perhaps read this? I have been mulling over the proposition of the archmaester for days now, but I cannot seem to comprehend it fully,â You say and turn the book you read towards him. Your fingers brushed as the prince took the book from your hands, and you could not hinder the chill that ran down your spine as you felt his cold, calloused fingers against yours.Â
You listened earnestly as the prince began to speak and explain the proposition you had trouble comprehending, going to great lengths to explain his thoughts on it, assisting and receiving any questions you had. Aemond paused in his explanation, feeling as if his mouth had gone dry by his prolonged speaking. He turned to the window and saw as the once high sun began to set; he returned his gaze to you, your chin resting on your palm as you had listened to his every word, clinging onto every syllable he had uttered. Aemond gulped as he realized his mistake. He had revealed too much of him; too much of his thinking was poured out in his explanation of philosophy. âI must take my leave,â he suddenly said, disregarding that he was in the middle of explaining another philosophical theory that was different from the first you had inquired about.Â
âOh,â You said and straightened in your seat. Aemond wanted to frown as he detected disappointment in your tone and eyes. That cannot be, can it? Why would anyone be disappointed in his departure? âGood day, my prince,â You curtsied as you stood, not wanting to take more of his time. Aemond began to walk away, cursing himself for his actions, but he halted by the door as you spoke. âThank you for your explanations⊠they were quite enlightening,â You said, and Aemond turned to you; the smile returned to your lips as you looked at him gratefully. Were you truly thankful? Thankful for him? Was that even a possibility? Aemond gave a curt nod and willed himself to walk away from you.Â
You were in the gardens once again. You were terribly homesick, and the gardens of the Red Keep were the only resemblance of your home that you could cling to. You were walking distractedly, a buzzing bee following you around as the flowers in your hair attracted the insect. You tried to squat it away, afraid to get stung when you accidentally missed a step, losing your balance, and were met with the cobbled floor of the gardens. Your jaw slacked in pain, and you tried to stand, your cheeks burning in embarrassment that someone may have seen your ungraceful fall. There was a stone by your side, and you tried to hoist yourself upon it, hissing as you accidentally placed pressure on your swollen ankle, but you were determined to stand and walk back to the keep to ask for assistance. Â
Unbeknownst to you, Prince Aemond had been observing you from above the gardens, and the moment he saw the sight of you falling, he made hastened steps to reach you. âMy lady,â He called, trying to hide his panting, and approached you as if he had only stumbled upon your presence. You sat before a rock, and he noticed you hiding your injured limb from his view, âMy prince,â Aemond watched in slight awe as you still tried to stand and curtsied before him, still holding onto formalities even though you were clearly hurt.Â
âAre you well?â This time, it was now Aemond to ask the question. You placed a tight smile on your lips, pretending that your injury was not at all bothering you. âI am fine, and you, my prince?â You asked, trying to speak of pleasantries. You shifted your weight on your uninjured leg and, for once, hoped that the prince would leave. âAre⊠are you certain?â Aemond inquired, wondering why you would pretend. âY-yes,â You stuttered, and Aemond narrowed his eye.Â
You sighed and placed your head on the ground. âI⊠I tripped, and I think my ankle is injuredâ but I do not wish to bother you, my prince. I can wait for the swelling to subside.â Aemond frowned at your words. How were you so concerned about his well-being but not your own? Aemond shook his head and stepped closer to you, silently scooping you in his arms. âWhâ My prince!â You said in shock as you were stiffly settled into the hold of Prince Aemond. Your arms circled around his neck to stabilize yourself. âYou donâtâ I could have just waited for a squire or maid to assist me,â You said in a slight panic and could not even bear to look at the prince in embarrassment. âYou are clearly in pain,â Was all he said as he carried you back inside the castle walls, the both of you earning strange glances from the members of the court.Â
Aemond returned you to your assigned chambers, trying to ignore the erratic beating of his still heart and the tingles on his skin from where he felt your touch. He placed you gently onto a settee, inhaling a whiff of your scent, and he felt intoxicated. He placed a respectable distance between you as the both of you waited for the maester he ordered a squire to fetch. Your gaze was still planted on the floor, and Aemond noticed the flush on your cheeks and the harsh bit you had on your lip, embarrassment clearly evident in you.Â
âI did not wish to bother you, my prince.â You say quietly, your tone heavy with guilt. Aemond could only hum a response, clueless as to why you were apologizing. The maester finally arrived, and Aemond stood by the side as he oversaw the maester, tending your injury. You tried to keep your pained reactions to a minimum as you felt conscious of the princeâs presence, but you could not help but hiss in pain, and your face contorted in discomfort as the Maester tried to move your injury. Aemond swallowed thickly as he himself was overcome with a phantom pain by the mere observation of yours.Â
âWill it heal, maester?â He asked in concern, stepping forward. âYes, my prince, it is only a swollen ankle; it shall heal by the morrow,â The old man spoke and stood, placing a cold, damp towel upon your injury, and you reached forward to secure its place. Aemond gave a nod, and his eye followed the maester who exited your chambers, leaving the door open. Aemond returned his gaze to you, your eyes finally meeting his, and he once again felt his breath caught in his throat as you smiled at him.Â
âThank you for your assistance and kindness, my prince,â You say gratefully, and Aemond felt his knees weak. No one had ever called him kind before. As always, you were met with his silence, but you dared say you were getting used to it. After a few moments of Aemond trying to comprehend your words, he gave a curt nod. âI shall leave you to rest; good day, my lady.â He said and willed himself to walk away from your presence he did not wish to leave.Â
Another day had passed, and Aemond had not seen a glimpse of your presence he had been trying to avoid just the day before. He had the urge to knock upon your door and to see how you were faring with your recovery, but he placed great restraint on himself as his mind deemed it inappropriate. So he waited another day. He stood by the gardens, his eye assessing every passerby as he waited for you. He had been stood by the balcony like a statue for the better part of the morning, but your presence had not been noted.Â
Aemond decided to walk around the castle, passing along every corridor in search of you and ready to act surprised as you two would eventually encounter once more. It was nearing sundown, and he had not seen a glimpse of you. Perhaps she is still resting. His mind told him, but Aemond was not entirely sold by that reasoning.Â
The prince attended his familyâs supper in his motherâs chambers. He sat quietly in his seat and saw the aggravated and tired faces of his mother and grandsire as they came to the table late. âWe apologize for our tardiness; the small council has been overburdened by a matter.â The queen explained as she took her seat. âWhat matter?â Aemond asked, always curious about the dealing made. âThe crown cannot afford to pay the dues it owes to House Tyrell⊠it is too great a sum, and the lord has threatened to withhold back crops for the upcoming winter if we do not pay their price.â The hand spoke, and Aemond pursed his lips, knowing that the debt to your house had been since the time of the conqueror.Â
âSurely they could be reasoned withâ they would not want to offend the rulers of Westeros,â Aemond said quietly and heard his mother sighed deeply. âPerhaps, but no meetings and negotiations can be made at the moment, for they had already left late last night.â Aemondâs hold on his fork tightened as he heard the words. You had gone without even a goodbye.
âI just do not know what we can offer to match their hefty sum,â the lord hand said and downed his wine. Aemond traveled his gaze around the table, his sibling not at all listening to the matter. âOffer me,â Aemond spoke, and he felt all eyes shift toward him. He turned to his mother, the queenâs lips agape in shock at his words. âThe crown does not have money to pay our debtâ then is it not a custom to offer marriage instead?â He asked rhetorically; the practice was made for centuries, but the price was usually paid with a princess, not a prince.Â
âAemond, mere debts are not paid with a prince.â The queen said. âBut it is not just a mere debt, now is it, mother? The Tyrells had as well placed a threat to the kingdomâs security over this winterâ and the mere debt you speak of has been established since the age of the conqueror,â Aemond turned to his grandsire, who he knew would understand his proposition. The Hand pondered over his grandsonâs words. âBut you are set to marry the Baratheon girl,â Alicent countered, and Aemond scoffed.Â
âWe owe nothing to the Baratheons, and do you not think that this matter looms greater?â He asked, âLord Tyrell only has a daughter, does he not? In time, the seat shall pass onto me as well, alike with the arrangements with Lord Borros. And with this, the crown will no longer be indebted to their house,â Aemond said, determined to see you once more. âThat is a most favorable solution,â The hand commented, quite content by his grandsonâs proposition. The queen sighed and took a moment to think of the proposal. âVery well then,â she sighed, and Aemond hindered the smirk threatening to slip his lips.Â
âI shall draft the proposal tonight and send a messenger to Highgarden first thing tomorrow,â Otto said in finality. âNo need, I shall offer the proposal myself in person,â Aemond said, and he saw apprehension in his motherâs eyes, disbelief by his decision, but none hindered him.Â
It was afternoon the following day when he had reached High Garden, Aemond riding atop his dragon through the morning, eager to reach his destination, you. âMy prince,â Lord Tyrell greeted him by the gates of their castle. âWhat business is so urgent that the prince of the realm had to fly his dragon all over here to the reach?â They had not even reached inside the castle walls when Lord Tyrell could no longer hinder his curiosity.Â
âIt is the matter of the crownâs debt,â Aemond replied, his eye scanning the halls in search of you. He heard your father reply with an âoh,â clearly anticipating the conclusion of the matter. âIs the crown ready to pay us the price owed?â Aemond hummed as he passed a portrait of you hung on the wall of your home, his eye entranced by the picture. âIn a way,â The prince danced upon the matter momentarily. âIn lieu of a payment, the crown is prepared to offer a marriage,â Aemond stated and watched concussion flush over your fatherâs face.Â
âWith respect, my prince, but that is an insulting offer. The crown has owed my house a great sum accumulated since the age of conquest!â Lord Tyrell seethed, and Aemond gritted his jaw. âI believe you are too hasty with your outburst, my lord. The crown is offering a union between me and your daughterâ an opportunity for your only child to be a princess⊠your grandchildren having the Targaryen name.â Lord Tyrell shook his head, âMy daughter is already bound to marry anotherâ titles are one thing, my prince, but there is still a debt to be paid.â Aemond felt the fire in his veins awaken at your fatherâs words. You are to be bound to another; that cannot be. You cannot be anyone elseâs when you had consumed his entire beingâ when you had presented him with such hope and kindness that he was certain he would find in no one else. You could never be not his.Â
Aemond licked his lips, certain that the words he would utter would be a gamble. âVery well then⊠a counteroffer, my lord. The crown cannot fully pay your price, so we offer a royal marriage and a fourth of the sum owed to you,â Aemond said, assessing the father's reaction as he mulled over the proposition. âI shall need time to reach a decision,â Lord Tyrell finally spoke after a long pause. âOf course,â Aemond agreed. âFor the meantime, you are welcome to the halls of High Garden, Your Highness.âÂ
Aemond waited as your father disappeared from his view before he went on his search for you. He walked through the unfamiliar corridors and found himself being led outside towards the gardens where he wagered you would be. When he saw you seated by a fountain, a smirk curled on his lips. However, it was quick to fade as he had noticed you were not alone. Aemond made furious steps towards you to announce his presence.Â
You were conversing with another when you felt your skin tingling and the familiarity of a cold gaze upon you. You turned to your side, and your eyes widened as you saw the prince approaching. You blinked slowly, trying to discern if your mind was playing a cruel trick. But when the prince stood an armâs length away from you, where you could see him clearly, you knew that it was not a trick. âMy prince,â You say almost breathlessly, curtsying lowly before the son of the king.Â
âHow⊠what brings you here, your highness?â You asked, disregarding the earlier presence you were with. âBusiness for the crown,â He replied, eyeing the man who stood beside you. You turned your eyes toward where the prince placed his gaze intensely. âOh, my prince, this is Prince Martin Martell,â You introduced, and you felt Martin stepped forward and bowed. âMartell? Are you not a long way from Drone?â Aemond gritted as he let out his hand to shake the princeâs hand. He wanted to smirk as he saw the manâs tanned face twist into a wince before quickly masking it. âYes, my prince, I come as a suitor for my lady,â He explained, and Aemond pursed his lips at his words.Â
You licked your lips as you suddenly felt the fresh air become tense, âWould anyone like some tea?â You suddenly interrupted the intense gazes of the two princes, walking in between them as you made your way toward a nearby table that had the afternoonâs refreshments. Aemond tapped his finger on the table, his eye shifting between you and your intended whilst you poured tea into everyoneâs cup. âIf I may ask, what business warrants your presence here, Prince Aemond?â Prince Martin inquired, and Aemond reluctantly shifted his attention from you, who was licking sugar from your fingers.Â
âA proposal for House Tyrell,â he said bluntly, swallowing thickly as your lips parted at the mention of your house. âWhat proposal, if I may ask,â Your turn to inquire. Aemond licked his lips and debated if he should give you the true manner of his visit. âA proposal for you, my lady, to be a princess of Westeros.â You feel dazed by his words, your body freezing in shock, and you seem to forget how to breathe.Â
Aemond looked at you expectantly, trying to search for any reaction in your eyes other than the pronounced shock. You were saved from his expectation of a reply when you heard your father calling for you. âIâ excuse me, my princes,â You say in a haste and hurriedly went to your fatherâs call.Â
âWhat is happeningâ the prince just informed me of his proposalâ in front of Prince Martell!â You panicked, recalling the scene to your father with wide eyes. You watched as your father paused his lips, an aggravated sigh leaving his nose. âBold of him to inform you of such proposals when I had not even given him my reply.â You shook your head and warily turned to the gardens, where you saw two princes seated by a distance.Â
âWhere did this proposal come from? I⊠I do not understand,â You whispered, recalling your days in the Red Keep; the moments with the prince that you tried to sell to yourself were meaningless to him. However, you supposed you sold yourself with a lie because those moments were enough for him to ask for your hand. Hope was dangerously blooming in your heart, emotions, and festering feelings you tried hard not to succumb to for the past days, now inevitable.Â
âThe proposal comes because the crown cannot pay the debt due to us⊠instead, they are offering a marriage between you and the prince and a fourth of the sum owed,â The hope that was dangerously blooming and had rooted itself in your heart quickly wilted, willing yourself not to show disappointment on your face. âOh,â Was all you could utter. âWhat is your decision then?â You asked quietly as your father guided you further into the walls of your home.Â
âYour courtship with Prince Martell has been settled for three years since your sixteenth name day, but no formal betrothals are in place, and we are in no obligation to the Martells,â Your father stated as you two walked along the corridors. âBut Sunspear is a long way from here,â Your father added, âAnd though Kingslanding is closer, and if I were being honest, I would prefer you to be a princess of the whole of the seven kingdoms rather than just Dorne,â You twirled with your hair as you listening into your fatherâs musing. âBut this marriage is just a way out of their hefty debt,â You nodded along and waited for your father to decide.Â
âSo? Which one of them?â You asked as you needed an answer, your nerves growing unbearable. Your father took in a deep breath, âI shall leave that decision to you⊠it is you who shall marry one of them; the money is not truly that much of a concernâ it was simply a bargaining tool for the crown to remember how indebted they were to us,â Your father explained, and your lips parted as you were given a daunting task.Â
âCan I speak with Prince Aemond for a moment? I⊠it isâ I need to speak with him,â you say, and your father gives the nod, âI shall have him meet you in the drawing room,â You waited nervously for the prince, your mind running as to what to say to him. You stood when the prince entered the room, your lips parting, ready to speak something you were uncertain of, but Prince Aemond spoke first.Â
âI know this is quite abrupt,â Aemond spoke and dared to step close to you, trying not to grow distracted by your mere ethereal presence. âIt is my prince,â You agreed. âCould I just ask why?â Aemond frowned at your words; it was quite a straightforward proposal. âThe crown owes your house,â He said matter of factly, âI know, but we ask for coins or land but not a marriage,â Aemond licked his lips, âAnd I am aware that the marriage is a substitute. However, you would understand that no one would be that inclined to accept a proposal just because the one giving the proposal is in debt.âÂ
âIs this a rejection?â Aemond took another step, closing most of the gap between you. He was aware that he was scowling severely, scarily even, but you did not seem to be frightened, a first for anyone he had encountered. âMore of a question,â Aemondâs brows raised at your words. âWell, itâs clear that this proposal is just an obligation for you, and if I am being honest⊠I prefer someone who would not see a mere business dealing.âÂ
âAll marriages are business dealings,â You pursed your lips at the princeâs words. âI supposed they are⊠but not every marriage is just a business dealing.â Aemond licked his lips, and the both of you were enveloped in silence. âI guess what Iâm saying is⊠I would not feel inclined to choose someone who proposes because it is their obligation,â You say slowly, surprised that you managed to come across your answer. If it were any other situation where the crown was not indebted to your house, you would accept the proposal eagerly, but your heart idealistic heart yearned for someone who wanted you truly and did not see you as a mere opportunity.Â
âMy lady, I think you have gotten the wrong idea here,â You furrowed your brows as all were clear to you. The proposal was just an obligation⊠isnât it? âNo one forced me into this proposal; the queen could not find a solution. This marriage had not even crossed her mindâ IâŠâ Aemond passed as you waited on bated breath for his explanation. âI have offered the marriage not because of duty or a way for the crown to escape their debt but because⊠Iâ I want you. I want you to be my wife.âÂ
You looked at him with clear apprehension, and Aemond actually believed that you would flash him your sweet smileâ perhaps a blush on your cheeks as he had said words so unlike him. âYou want me?â You asked incredulously, and Aemond nodded, boldly taking your hands into his. âBut why? We barely know each other?â You asked. Frowning as your eyes go downwards toward your hands clasped with the princeâs cold ones. âWhy?â Aemond asked in disbelief you would ask such a question? You nodded.Â
âBecause I just do,â Aemond licked his lips as it would appear that that was the wrong answer, watching as you stole away your hand and your lips turned into an adorable pout he was very much tempted to kiss. âIâ Because you are pretty, overly pretty,â Aemond spoke and hoped that would sway your mind, but that seemed even to offend you. âAnd because you are knowledgeable, I have never met anyone who had the same philosophical interests as me,â Aemond quickly added, and he wanted to smile as that lessened your frown.Â
âAnd most of all, because you are kind. You are⊠you are not one to judgeâ you came to Kingslanding without any criticism or fear of me. You actually saw me as an actual person and notâŠâ Aemond trailed as he felt a sense of relief as he said the words he thought none could ever compel him to do so. âNot like a weapon?â You almost laughed as you often heard others allude to him as such. Aemond nodded and took your hands into his once more.Â
âYou want me because I was kind and took an interest in you?â You asked, making certain that was his reasoning. Aemond nodded and dared to tuck a stray hair that obstructed his view of your face. âIf that is all that it took, what if then another comes along and presents you with such kindness and interest⊠am I simply to be set to the side?â Aemond sighed and cupped your cheek as he felt his stomach twist at your words and at the look of doubt in your enchanting eyes. âWhat ifââ You were ready to voice out another doubting scenario, but your lips were kissed shut.Â
You feel heat bloom into your cheeks, and you are stunned as you feel the princeâs thin and cool lips upon yours. Your eyes were wide at the sudden contact, but they fluttered to a close as you savored the feel and taste of him. âI do not know what more to say to quench the doubts in you⊠but you must know, I have never felt such a wayâ I have never wanted anyone or anything as much as I want you.â Aemond whispered against your lips as you breathed heavily, your body feeling afloat and alight.Â
âThe situation is not the most favorable one; believe me, I understand your qualmsâ but it is the only opportunity I had to make you mine,â You feel liquid fill your stomach, and words cannot find you. The only thing you could do was go to the tip of your toes and kiss the princeâs lips once more, a chaste kiss than the first, but it was a kiss that gave the prince his answer.Â
Three moons passed before your nuptials were settled. You stood by the door of the great hall, waiting for it to open and lead you to your soon-to-be husband. âAre you certain?â Your father asked as he clasped his arms with yours. You breathed out a laugh and nodded your head eagerly. âI am,â You said with a smile and took a deep breath as you heard the trumpets from the other side of the door.Â
Aemond sighed longingly as he saw the smile on your lips again. The smile that he had never been the receiver of before. The sweet and kind smile that led to all of this.Â
You beamed at your groom as he took your hand into yours, unable to remove your gaze from his unique lilac eye throughout the whole of the ceremony. âI am his, and he is mine,â You recited after the Maester, feeling Aemond lightly squeeze your hand as you said the words, a ghost of a smile appearing on his lips. When it was Aemondâs turn, you bit your lip as you felt your smile grow wider, your heart beating loudly in your chest, and delight taking hold of your whole body. âI am hers, and she is mine,â Aemond stated, eye filled with sincerity and promise.Â
You breathed in a deep breath as your husband stepped forward to seal your marriage with a kiss, your cheeks burning as you heard the cheers of your guests. âMy flower,â Aemond whispered against your lips as you parted, his finger brushing away the stubborn lock of your hair once more. You could only smile upon him, your heart in your eyesâ just one act of kindness, a simple smile had been the catalyst for you to find your love.Â
You chewed on your cheek in anticipation as you were being led down the halls by your husband, the bedding ceremony promptly taking place after the feast.Â
Aemond spared no second before claiming your soft, sweet lips once more. Gently pushing you upon a pillar in his chambers to keep you steady and flush against his body. âAemond,â You called as you clung to his neck, his lips trailing downwards and his fingers undoing the laces of your gown. âYouâre all mine, my flower⊠forever bound to me, my kind little wife.â Aemond hummed as he tasted your skin, his lips kissing your bare shoulders, the sleeves of your dress draping off. âIâm yours, my prince,â You sighed, but you felt slight dread in your stomach as he clicked his tongue in disapproval and slowly shook his head. âI am your husband⊠you must learn to call me by my name; no more titles and formalities,â Aemond lowly said, wanting to hear his name be uttered from your lips.Â
You nodded, âIâm all yours, Aemond,â You said and whimpered as your husbandâs eye darkened, and he forcefully slammed your lips. You feel your dress pool to the floor as he successfully removes it; he takes hold of one of your thighs and makes you cling to him, leading you to your shared bed. Aemond gently laid you down and parted your lips to admire the view of you sprawled before him. The thin sheet of your shift reveals all to him.Â
You gasped in utter shock as you felt him tear away the thin cover you had, fully exposing you to him. A strained moan left your throat as Aemond dipped down and took one of your tits into the hot cavern of his mouth, his tongue teasing the bud. You clung to his silvery locks; just that action alone made your core tighten painfully. Aemond smirked as he moved to pay attention to the neglected mound, your hips grinding upon his as you sought friction.Â
âAemond, IâŠâ You called, uncertain of what you wanted, but all you knew was that you needed more. âYes, wife?â He hummed and placed open-mouth kisses upon your stomach. âI⊠Iââ You stuttered, not knowing what to ask. Aemond sighed and moved his head to kiss your lips, âDo you want more⊠do you want to be pleasure, my flower?â He asked, as he could not be so cruel to leave you in such a state for much longer. You eagerly nodded your head.Â
It did not take long for you to be a moaning mess, your eyes rolled back in your head, and your back arched as Aemond placed his mouth upon your cunny. Licking and teasing your folds, âAemond! Oh, gods!â You called in utter pleasure as you felt his thin lips enclose your sensitive bud, sucking and licking it. You battled with your mind-numbing pleasure as you propped yourself on your elbows to watch his actions. He looked up at you, grinning as his fingers teased your undefiled whole. You bit your lip and breathed heavily, boldly taking hold of the leather strap of his eye patch. You saw as his eye darkened, and you hesitated, but Aemond gave a nod.Â
As you removed his eye patch, Aemond pressed his finger into you, your eyes rolling back as you saw his sapphire eye. Aemond returned his lips to your cunt, sucking on the bud as his fingers pumped in and out. He felt your walls clench around the digits and your moans growing louder. Through your closed eyes, you feel him smirk against your skin and curl the digits inside your cuntâ a loud moan leaving your lips as you come undone. Your hips violently move against his face, and the pearl of your cunt hitting gains his angular nose.Â
âOh gods,â You say breathlessly as you feel Aemondâs weight atop of you. You undid the laces of his vest as he removed his trousers. You looked downwards and saw the whole of your husband, his warm, pulsating length resting upon your thigh. The head of his cock weeping a clear liquid. âW⊠will it fit?â You say in disbelief, never having thought that something so phallic could be so⊠large and appealing. âOf course, you were made for me, my flower.â Aemond lowly said and kissed your lips as he aligned himself with your cunt.Â
You dug your nails onto his shoulders as he slowly tore his way through you. Him hushing your cries of pain and kissing away your tears. âIt hurtsâ Aemond, I⊠itâs too much,â You cried, your legs wrapping around his waist. Aemond reached downwards and drew circles upon your cunt to aid your pain. You waited for the pain to bleed into pleasure. Aemond tightly shit his eye as he felt the tip of his cock brush against a rough spot in your cunt, him fully sheathed inside you. He made cautious thrusts, watching as you would acclimatize to his length, and when he saw your eyes roll back, that was his sign to fasten his pace.Â
Aemondâs found your lips once more, muffling your moans and whimpers as his cock was relentlessly hitting the spongy spot in your cunt that made your core come undone over and over again. You were on the verge of your fourth climax, each of them coming quickly after the other, and your thighs started to shiver at the pleasure that had enveloped you fully. âAemond⊠Itâs too much. Iâ husband, I cannot,â You cried as you felt a different sensation, an odd pressure in your core unalike the other times you came. Aemond clenched his jaw as his cock twitched inside your cunt, âJust⊠come for me one more time, my flower,â He gritted as he wanted to coax another peak from you.Â
Aemond laid his thumb flat against your nubbin and rubbed circles once more, your voice already hoarse from your loud moans. âOh⊠Aemond!â You cried as the quivering of your thighs grew, and you felt the pressure in your core come undone; a differing climax from the first three overcame you. Aemond groaned loudly and tilted his head back as he spilled his seed deep in your cunt. You breathed heavily as you tried to comprehend what had happened, wetness pooling between your thighs, and an embarrassed blush spread through your cheeks and neck.Â
Aemond smirked and shook his head, trying to soothe the mortification in your eyes. âI knew you were capable of it,â He hummed and kissed your lips. He knew it was perhaps too much to test your limits in your first night together, but he could not help himself; he needed to have you in such a way. âMy perfect wife,â he hummed against your skin, and your reply came through your tired smile.Â

â LADY OF THE ROSES (I)
PART TWO || PART THREE || PART FOUR
PAIRING â Ser Gwayne Hightower x fem!Reader // Tyrell!OC
SUMMARY â When Lord Tyrell organizes a huge tournament, the rumour has it that the winner might get his eldest daughter's hand in marriage. When she finds out that certain twins are not playing fair and are scheming together with her father to win, she finds herself a champion she wants to succeed instead â Ser Gwayne Hightower, who was sent by his father to win the tournament.
AUTHORâS NOTE â Itâs written as an usual x Reader fic without describing anything about the Readerâs looks but I still classified it as an OC as well since she is a Tyrell. Although I am not sure if we have even seen them in House of The Dragon, so they can literally look like anything...? đ€ Thank you so much for reading my last fic with Gwayne and leaving lovely comments and messages! đč It inspired me to write for him again and I already have more ideas for him and a Tyrell Lady Wife (although I don't think the fics will be connected, so they can be read separately). For some reason it makes SO MUCH SENSE to me for Gwayne to have a wife from Highgarden! Some sexual things are mentioned here but there is no actual smut, so I didn't put the warnings. đ

ENGLISH IS MY SECOND LANGUAGE.
LADY OF THE ROSES (I)
Beautiful courtyards of Highgarden were filled with tents and knights. The sound of horses and clinging armour reached your ears as you were taking a stroll between the tents â against your fatherâs wish. He didnât want you to walk freely around all those knights but you had your own guards and your curiosity had no match because you knew perfectly well what that expensive and flashy tournament was about.
You were in the right age to marry â some would say the age was more than right, too right even. You were Lord Tyrellâs eldest daughter and out of all the three sisters, you were the only one who still remained unmarried. The reasons behind that were two. First of all, you were a picky and proud Lady. Second of all, you didnât want to leave Highgarden and The Reach.
Your father hoped that your marriage would create a powerful alliance and as a daughter of The Lord Paramount of the Reach and The Warden of the South, you were quite a catch for your suitors. Walking amongst them, you saw them turning around and staring at you with smirks. You were the only Lady around and your pale green dress was showing off just enough of your virtues in a typical Highgarden fashion. There were golden roses in your hair and golden eyeshadow on your eyelids as you were all dolled up for the first day of the tournament.
You took a turn around the Lannister tent and you hissed at the sight of your father. Thankfully, he was not looking in your direction and you managed to hide behind your guards but you ordered them to stand still. You wondered why your father was even by the Lannister tent. Talking so openly to one of the knights participating in the tournament was a clear favouritism.
âThank you, Lord Tyrell, your support means a lot,â Lord Lannister said and you tried to see him better from between your guardsâ shoulders. You didnât like him at all since arrogance was written all over his face.
âIt is no secret for all the men here that I would like you to win. It is a formality,â your father lowered his voice. âAn alliance between such big houses⊠It would make us both stronger,â he put his arm around The Lannister. âBut I liked the idea of the tournament. It has splendour, donât you think? I like to show off,â you father grinned.
âAs I said before, I am no knight. My younger twin brother is,â Lord Lannister said and your father looked around before shushing him and they both entered the tent.
Curiously, with furrowed brow, you peeked inside the tent despite your guardsâ protests. And you nearly gasped at the sight of another man inside who was being prepared for the tournament as a squire was putting his armour on. He looked identical to the man your father was talking to.
âMy brother, Ser Tyland, will pretend to be me during the tournament. No one will know,â Lord Lannister told your father and your father nodded at that. âI will sit and watch, pretending to be him. I will be criticising his techniques out loud just like a real knight would criticise his foolish brother who takes part in a tournament without being a knight,â he explained, very proud of himself.
He wouldnât be the only man who wanted to take part in this tournament without the title of the knight. After all, everyone was aware that the prize was your hand in marriage and you didnât necessarily need a knight. There were lots of common Lords joining the tournament but they were all honest with their intentions. Not only Lord Jason Lannister had your fatherâs favouritism but he also was planning to obviously cheat by using his brother.
It made you angry as you carefully took a step back and nodded at your guards to follow you down the path. It seemed like the whole tournament was just a show and a theatre play â you were no longer excited since the end result seemed to be fixed. You would be sent to Lannisport to marry that annoying and arrogant Lord Jason Lannister. Tears filled your eyes and you didnât even care about your makeup anymore since you no longer longed for the tournament to begin.
You walked past the greenest tent around and saw a man in auburn hair washing his face outside. He noticed your staring and looked up with a dashing smile. He recognised you immediately from the portraits and your clothes. Also, what other Lady would dare to take a walk here? Only the one for whom the tournament was taking place.
âLady Tyrell,â he bowed his head but his blue eyes were still on you.
You sniffled your tears back and straightened yourself.
âLordâŠ?â You asked and turned your head to see the banner on the tent. âLord Hightower? No, that cannot be. Lord Hightower is in Kingâs Landing, is he not? And he is much older. He is The Hand of The King Viserys,â you tilted your head a little.
âYou mean Otto Hightower, my Lady,â the man nodded with a smile as he approached you. His armour wasnât fully on yet and you could see his shirt slightly open. âI am his eldest son, Ser Gwayne Hightower,â he introduced himself and reached his hand out.
After a while of hesitation, you allowed him to kiss the palm of your hand.
âSer Gwayne Hightower. You are a brother to our Queen Alicent! Are you to inherit Oldtown after your fatherâs death?â You asked.
âThat is correct, My Lady,â he nodded and straightened his back.
You hummed to yourself. Oldtown was in The Reach and it was the second largest and most populated city in the Seven Kingdoms. To get there from Highgarden, a horse needed around ten days down the Roseroad. You had been there before a few times with your parents but you had never met Ser Gwayne before.Â
You looked him up and down. He had a cocky grin on his face but there was something about him that you actually quite liked â especially compared to Lord Jason Lannister. Ser Gwayne seemed to be confident but in a different, less exasperating way.
âDid your father encourage you to take part in this tournament, Ser Gwayne?â You asked him as you raised an eyebrow at him. âI do believe he is known for being an ambitious man.â
âYes, my father insisted on me taking part,â Ser Gwayne admitted. âBut I do not mind it myself.â
You nodded at that. Well, a union between your houses seemed to be right. You were both from The Reach and perhaps The Tyrells were more significant but The Hightowers were a real power, especially now. Sadly, your father seemed to be fixated on that whole idea of you marrying a Lannister.
Unless⊠Unless you would interfere somehow.
Your silence was interpreted by Ser Gwayne as a sign of exhaustion or boredom, though. He nodded his head and took a step back.
âIt was nice to meet you before the tournament, my Lady,â he bowed his head. âI know there are dozens of knights around but, please, do remember about me while choosing your champion, I humbly ask,â he gave you one more dashing smile before walking inside his tent.
As a Lady for whom the tournament was taking place, you had the right to choose your champion. A man you favoured. Although, since the unofficial prize was your hand in marriage, it would be very awkward for a man who was not your champion to win. You assumed that your father would try to force you to choose Lord Jason Lannister.
And you had been right. Now, when you were holding a golden rose prepared for this occasion as all the knights were standing in front of you and your family in the audience, your father squeezed you by your elbow. He leaned in to whisper into your ear:
âYou shall give the rose to Lord Jason Lannister and name him your champion,â he said with a fake smile before moving away.
You swallowed thickly and took a step ahead to be able to reach the man you would choose. You glanced at The Lannister man on the horse â Tyland, pretending to be Jason. And in the audience nearby you there he sat â Jason, pretending to be Tyland. Your eyes met for a second and he grinned at you confidently although he had no idea you were aware of his plan.
You searched for a different pair of eyes now, amongst all the knights. And then you found them, the blue ones. His armour had beautiful ornaments and even his horse was armoured. It all looked so elegant and you smiled at the sight.
You bit on your lower lip. But was he a good knight? Did he actually stand a chance to win?
Well, you were about to find out.
âSer Gwayne Hightower,â you took a few steps to the right to be closer to him as he commanded his horse to take a few steps ahead. âI choose you to be my champion,â you smiled at him and leaned in to hand him the golden rose.
âLady (Y/N) Tyrell, it is an honour,â he bowed his head and you saw in his eyes that he was quite surprised that you had named him amongst all the men your champion. He took the rose from you carefully and pinned it to his armour before closing his helmet and returning to the other knights.
You took a deep breath in before walking away to take your seat. Your fatherâs burning gaze was nearly painful but your mother kept smiling, unaware of the schemings.
âThatâs Otto Hightowerâs eldest son. The Queen is his sister,â your mother babbled to your father. âOur daughter has chosen wisely,â she smiled at you. âAnd heâs handsome and quite young.â
Your father ignored her words and gave you a deadly glare instead but you only huffed and walked away, locking your eyes with Lord Jason again. The real one, sitting in the audience. He was not grinning anymore.
Thankfully, Ser Gwayne turned out to be an excellent knight. Sadly, so was Ser Tyland Lannister, pretending to be his brother Lord Jason.
On the second day of the tournament, they already got rid of most of their opponents as they defeated them in combat. Some of the knights were seriously wounded.
On the third day it was already known that the last duel would be between Ser Gwayne and Ser Tyland. Everyone was taking bets and your father was gritting his teeth.
All this time, you were carefully watched by him and you had no opportunity to speak to any of the men taking part in the tournament. But on the night before the last, fourth, day when the final duel would take place, your father had thrown a feast, during which you were approached by Ser Jason Lannister.
Or Ser Tyland. Were they pretending to be each other during feasts as well? You were tempted to ask but you had no courage to do so.
âLady Tyrell, there should be songs about your beauty,â he bowed his head and you bowed down.
âLord Lannister,â you mumbled out, uninterested. âWhy arenât you busy writing them then?â
Your mother looked at you with terror in her eyes but you ignored her.
âOh, believe me, I do not have time for such frivolities although I wish I had. However, my duties in Lannisport are many. My treasure is full and I shall spoil you with my goods when you are my Lady Wife,â he grinned at you, luring you with his wealth.
âYou sound so sure that youâre going to win, my Lord,â you pointed out.
âOh, I am sure. Ever since you named that Hightower knight your champion, I am determined to show him his place. But I hold no resentment towards you for your choice. I do realise that you, women from The Reach, like to tease,â he winked at you and you had to pretend his words were not an insult. Even your mother gasped a little at his boldness.
âI cannot believe you would spoil me with your wealth for nothing in return, my Lord,â you raised an eyebrow, curious of the response.
âWell, of course not. Like every husband I want my wife to be obedient, easy on the eye and give me many, healthy children,â he informed you. âSons, I mean,â he fixed himself. That arrogant smirk was still on his face.
âI think your father is calling us,â your mother saved the day as she quickly took you by the arm and excused you both to walk you away from Lord Jason. âOh, what an insufferable man! Sadly, your father seems to be fixated on the idea of you marrying him. And you know, dear (Y/N), after all the matches you had dismissed in the past⊠You just canât say no now. Especially at your age,â she looked at you sternly, but still worried.
You didnât answer that. You simply nodded your head and walked away to go outside and catch a breath.
You kept walking ahead of you, leaving the noise of the party behind you. You wanted to be alone and despite the darkness, you knew where you were going because you knew this garden better than yourself.
You entered the maze to hide in your favourite spot but after a while you heard unfamiliar steps behind you. You gasped and turned around to see a male silhouette, which caused a shiver go down your spine. If something happened to you now, unguarded and with no one to rescue if you called for help⊠You didnât even want to imagine the consequences.
âThat is only me, my Lady,â you heard a familiar voice and the man took a few steps ahead. It was Ser Gwayne Hightower, smiling at you.
âSer Gwayne!â You pretended to sigh with relief but the truth was that you didnât trust him either. You trusted no man who was creeping up on a Lady like that. âWe shouldnât be left alone without a chaperone,â you pointed out.
âForgive me, I saw you running away and quite upset. I wanted to make sure nothing bad would happen to you as you wandered off from the crowd without any guards following you,â he lowered his voice as he approached you.
You swallowed thickly. He was right in front of you and behind you there was a tall live-fence that was making it impossible to escape. As he leaned in, his auburn hair fell onto his face and you felt it tickling your cheeks. That close he was.
âHow chivalrous of you,â you breathed out, starting to feel dizzy. You had never been so close with a man.
He looked down, his gaze fixated on your tight, revealing dress. Your breasts were squeezed under the silky golden fabric.
âWhat if I donât win tomorrow?â He asked as he lifted his eyes up again to meet yours. âLord Jason is surprisingly good, especially for a man who is not a knight.â
âItâs because itâs not him,â you confessed with a heavy sigh and Ser Gwayne furrowed his brow at you.
âAre you suggesting thatâŠ?â
âI am not suggesting, Ser. It is true. I know from the very beginning, I have overheard them talking to my father. My father wants me to marry Lord Jason Lannister and this tournament is nothing but a show-off. He was angry at me for choosing you as my champion,â you told him.
Ser Gwayne seemed to be confused as he took a step back and you surprised yourself because you wanted him close again.
âThat is⊠Unhonourable and disrespectful,â he pointed out. âDo you wish for Lord Jason to win as well, my Lady?â He looked at you, intensely.
âNo! Why would I choose you as my champion then, Ser?â You shook your head, desperate to make him believe you.
âTo toy with me, perhaps. Or to tease Lord Lannister,â Ser Gwayne pointed out.
âI do not wish to have anything in common with that man,â you huffed.
âAnd me? You do not know me, do you, my Lady?â Ser Gwayne smirked as he leaned in again, his nose nearly brushing yours as he put his right hand on the live-fence above you. You felt so small underneath him suddenly.
âWhat do you expect from a wife, Ser Gwayne?â You asked, swallowing a lump in your throat and he looked confused at that question as if it was a stupid thing to ask.
âLoyalty, of course,â he answered.
âAnd thatâs it?â Now you were the surprised one. âWhat about children?â
âWell, it would be nice to have them, donât you think, my Lady?â Ser Gwayne chuckled and rubbed your nose with his.
âWhat if I am flawed like my mother and I can give you only daughters?â You bit on your lower lip, slowly getting drunk at the feeling of having him so close.
âThen we shall make them all great ladies of great houses. My sister is The Queen. Us, Hightowers, we are ambitious,â he told you. âAnd I have many younger brothers who can produce their male heirs. The future of my family is safe whatever I do,â he assured you and raised his other hand to caress your cheek with his fingertips.
At first, you got startled at his touch as if it was causing you pain because you were not used to being touched like this by a male hand. But then, after a short while, you gave in and hummed to yourself, making him smirk.
You leaned back onto the live-fence and arched your back, connecting your crotch with his. You had no idea what made you do that⊠It was as if your instincts were telling you what to do. And it felt good.
âDonât,â Gwayne scolded you and took a step back as you whined.
âArenât you here to claim me just in case you lose the duel tomorrow?â You asked, feeling your cheeks heating up. You couldnât believe the boldness of your own words.
Lord Lannister had been right about the women from The Reach, apparently.
âPerhaps you should have not made me your champion, Lady Tyrell, if you think so lowly of me,â Ser Gwayne bowed his head and turned around to walk away, leaving you alone; confused and full of embarrassment.
One thing was certain â he was messing with your head. You couldnât stop thinking of him all night long, touching yourself to the thoughts of him standing so close, to the memory of his touch and his voice.
You would rather die than marry Lord Jason Lannister. Any attempt to imagine anyone else other than Ser Gwayne touching you, was making you physically sick.
You watched with fear, clenching your fists on the railing and leaning down to see better although, at the same time, you didnât want to see; you were that scared.
You knew that people had been betting on who would win this combat. And more people had bet on The Lannister. Your eyes followed the golden rose attached to Ser Gwayneâs armour, though. You only wanted to keep looking at him as you prayed to the gods old and new for his victory.
The combat was fierce and long. Both of the horses got hurt and taken away and the two opponents were standing face-to-face now, having to duel with their swords on the ground.
Lord Jason Lannister â the real one, the one in the audience â stood up and clenched his fists on the railing, too, as he watched his twin brother.
âCome on!â He yelled and that was when the other Lannister struck Ser Gwayne down. âYes! Thatâs right!â He cheered alongside the audience. Then, he looked at you with a smirk.
âSer Gwayne!â You exclaimed in a high-pitched, scared voice.
To your relief, your champion stood up after taking the blow and you clenched your fists even tiger around the railing. You wouldnât be surprised if you broke the wood with your hands.
After a few more attempts to strike each other down, both opponents were roaring with frustration. And then you spotted Ser Gwayne taking his helmet off and throwing it aside as people gasped.
Was he insane? You had been thinking that he was a rational man but apparently much less than you expected.
He looked up at you and nodded his head as the wind ruffled his auburn hair a little. You had to admit that he was presenting himself very handsome and you were aware that the helmet was limiting his view during combat but it was still very risky.
When you nodded back, he went back to the fight. His strikes and blows were fast and determined as if the fight was to death. You held your breath whenever he would get a punch or a strike since he was wearing no helmet. However, he seemed to be doing much better now.
Eventually, The Lannister was laying down and not standing up for quite a long time now as Ser Gwayne spat some blood out and looked up again â his face covered in blood and a few bruises but other than that, he was fine.
Your father stood up, carefully, before walking up to you to see with his own eyes. He hesitated and froze instead of announcing the winner and the whole audience was now looking at him.
âYou shall announce my champion the winner,â you reminded him and he swallowed thickly.
âI⊠I announce Ser Gwayne Hightower the winner of this tournament. Congratulations!â He exclaimed and turned around this very instant to sit back down on his chair.
âYou fought bravely, Ser Tyland,â Ser Gwayne helped his opponent to stand up as everyone froze at his words. âOh, Lord Jason, do forgive me,â he nodded at him with a smirk before leaving the field.
Your heart picked up its pace and you couldnât help a big grin. You glanced at The Lannister in the audience and he gave you a very unpleasant look this time. You couldnât blame him, really. Ser Gwayneâs little mistake would make people gossip about The Lannisters cheating in the tournament. It was bringing you lots of satisfaction.
You were about to excitedly leave your parentsâ side, when your father grabbed your wrist and stopped you.
âWhere are you going?â He asked, harshly.
âTo see my champion!â You answered him.
âAbsolutely not,â your father shook his head. âYou are coming with me to meet with The Lannister brothers,â he told you and both you and your mother widened your eyes at him.
âFather⊠Ser Gwayne has won the tournament⊠Fairly,â you pointed out.
âYou said that the winner would have (Y/N)â hand in marriage,â your mother reminded him.
âIt was never officially announced, was it?â He barked at the both of you. âIt was just a rumour.â
âDo you want to enrage The Hand of The King by disrespecting his son? Do you want to enrage The Queen herself by disrespecting her brother?â You asked him.
Your father let go of your wrist but he kept staring at you with anger and resentment in his eyes.
âWhy did you want The Lannisters to win so badly?â You asked him. âTo the point of letting them play it dirty and cheat?â You continued as your motherâs eyes were widening. âI have overheard your conversation on the first day while taking a stroll between the tents like you had forbidden me to,â you admitted. âWhy, father?â
âMy Lord Husband?â Your mother asked him, enraged by what she had just heard.
âPerhaps you have also overheard the part where I was saying that the tournament is a nice show-off,â he explained.
âI do understand why you threw the tournament. The question was not about that,â you raised an eyebrow at him and crossed your arms.
âWealth,â was all he said after a short silence.
âAnd⊠thatâs it?â You asked, disappointed.
Your father nodded and looked away.
âWealth and splendour. An alliance between The Tyrells and The Lannisters would be a powerful one. And their treasure is big,â he added.
You opened your mouth to say something but you had no words.
âYour foolish sisters!â He continued as he raised his voice suddenly. âOne married some Dornish lesser Lord and the other went up North to marry a knight in The Vale! The Ladies of House Tyrell! I should have been creating powerful alliances with you, foolish girls, but, no, all of you know better! All of you!â He yelled at you as your mother began to calm him down.
âI would never marry a man without an honour like Lord Jason Lannister,â you only said. âA cheater who plays dirty by using his brother because he knows very well that he would lose his very first combat if it was him down there,â you finished.
Without any other word, you hurried downstairs to run up to Ser Gwayneâs tent. His squire was working on removing his armour off of his body and you approached him to cup his bruised face splashed with blood.
âSer GwayneâŠâ You started and then you swallowed thickly and looked down, remembering your encounter with him from the previous evening and the things you had been thinking of at night.
âLady Tyrell,â he nodded at you with a smile.
âAre you alright, Ser? What has gotten into you to take the helmet off?â You asked as you dared to look up again, right into his blue eyes.
âIt was limiting my view,â he answered. âI am alright, my Lady, no need to worry about me.â
âAre you always that irresponsible, Ser?â You asked yet another question. After all, it was important to know if he was supposed to be your Lord Husband.
âNever, my Lady. But it was rather an important combat, was it not?â He raised an eyebrow at you and you smiled widely at him.
You let go of his face as you took a few steps back to let his squire continue his work with the armour.
âI shall leave you now,â you nodded. âThank you.â
âThe pleasure is all mine, Lady Tyrell,â Ser Gwayne bowed his head slightly as he watched you walking out of his tent.
There was a feast again on that evening but instead of being with the guests, your father was locked in the library with Ser Gwayne, discussing the unofficial prize of the tournament â your hand in marriage.
You were pacing around the corridor, all dolled up for the party in a pastel pink dress but with no interest to walk down and participate in the celebrations. You were afraid that your father would be rude to Ser Gwayne or scare him off, so you wanted to be around just in case you needed to put out some fire.
At first, you had chosen Ser Gwayne Hightower to be your champion simply to annoy your father and to avoid showing any favours to Lord Jason Lannister. But as the time progressed â especially after last night⊠â you just wanted to become Ser Gwayneâs wife. You would still live in The Reach and have your mother quite close but at the same time youâd be away from your father and his constant remarks of remaining unmarried despite your age.
Oldtown was an important place on the map of Westeros and you would be The Queenâs sister-in-law. Your father would be foolish to choose Lannister's gold over that honour.
The doors opened finally and you saw your father who was visibly surprised at the sight of you nervously pacing outside the library.
âAre you curious or nosy, dear daughter?â He asked you with his eyebrow raised.
âPerhaps both,â you answered.
âEither way,â your father shrugged, taking a step aside and revealing Ser Gwayne standing behind him, âthat is not a problem of mine to deal with anymore,â he finished. âDisciplining her might be a challenge,â he chuckled at Ser Gwayne.
âWith all respect, Lord Tyrell, I am not Lady (Y/N)âs father to discipline her,â Ser Gwayne nodded at him and approached you to hold your hands in his as he looked at your face. âWe are going to get married, my Lady,â he announced to you and you smiled widely at him, feeling a huge wave of relief washing all over you. Relief, happiness and⊠excitement.
âWhen?!â Was all you asked before looking at your fatherâs face. He seemed to watch you carefully but wasnât as displeased as before, right after the tournament.
âSer Gwayne is running Oldtown in the name of his father so he must return there immediately tomorrow morning,â your father answered. âWe will escort you to him for the wedding once all the preparations are finished. It shouldnât take more than a few weeks.â
âA few weeks?!â You whined. âHow am I supposed to wait for so long?â
Ser Gwayne chuckled at that and so did your father as you felt your cheeks heating up.
âYou have been waiting for so long to get married, my dear, you can surely hold off a few weeks more,â your father pointed out.
But he didnât understand. Now, when you actually wanted to become a wife and found a man worthy enough to be called your Lord Husband, you didnât want to wait a day longer. However, being whiny about it would only make you look childish and desperate.
âI shall wait then,â you sighed and looked down in defeat.
âAnd I shall prepare The Hightower for your arrival, my Lady,â Ser Gwayne nodded at you. âWhat is your favourite colour, may I ask, my Lady, just so I know how to tell my people to decorate your new chambers?â
âItâs green, Ser Gwayne,â you answered with a soft smile. âGreen and yellow like the colours of my house.â
âSomething tells me we are going to be an excellent match,â Ser Gwayne smirked at your answer with a wink.
