Willas & Alerie Tyrell in His Mercy Burns

For my latest update, Chapter 21, Willas I.

Lady Alerie Tyrell was born Lady Alerie Hightower, daughter of the Old Man of Oldtown. A lady of dignified repute and the envy of every woman in the Reach. Her children had taken their father’s likeness, but Willas’ visage was all Alerie. Bright-eyed and bold, sharp jawed with a straight nose, skin a tinge tanner owed to the Oldtown sun. He found those eyes, that wide mouth and smile-line in each study of the looking mirror. It made it hurt all the more when she thought to sew him together like a patchwork man. It was a different hurt. A dreadful, sinking pain, constant like the chronic throb of his leg. Different from the tongues of brothers and sisters too young to understand. From his father’s guilt who had wanted the gallant knight found in Garlan to be Willas. Her love was joyous, but fractured. Like a plaster that only reminded him of his wound. Why, Mother? It was no fault of your own. I was born whole just as any other man. Remember?

When your paladin husband keeps bringing home strays 😅 before he disappeared, Tyrell would would often bring home various strays that would accompany they two until they found homes. It’s been 12 years since Tyrell disappeared, and Zyris wishes he still had one of the kittens to remember him by.

Zyris in my cleric in a dnd campaign I just joined :) this is Tyrell, his husband who disappeared one night 12 years before the campaign started. Tyrell made Zyris who he is today; he was a charlatan that was arrested by Tyrell - a paladin of Tyr, but instead of carrying out a sentence, Tyrell gave him a second chance. The two traveled together for a while, and Zyris slowly fell for Tyrell, becoming a cleric so he could stay by his side.

Expect more brain rot of these two, all I’ve been doing is drawing them recently.

Highgarden is a castle which serves as the seat of House Tyrell, the regional capital of the Reach, and the heart of chivalry in the Seven Kingdoms. It lies on the Mander where the ocean road meets the roseroad, making it an important crossroads.
