now im also still thinking about tma dnd au.... mostly i agree with jonny&alex' assignments. Signing a contract to work in the Archives is really signing a pact with the Eye, so everyone there multiclasses in warlock, but only Jon really gains levels in it because of all the xp he gets by reading statements. Tim is a fighter, Sasha a 'real' wizard, Martin a bard who performs poetry instead of playing an instrument, says he studied at the College of Lore, but really he's self-taught and not even level 3 in bard.

Species though. i mostly drew Jon as a tiefling cause i wanted to give him horns but really, a tiefling would be preoccupied with whether or not he's turning into a monster. Sasha can just be human, and i think Tim is a half-elf, charismatic, easily fitting in with most crowds.

On the one hand i want Martin to be tall. but on the other. he just is a halfling. easily underestimated, typically caring, not very fast, not easily immobilized by fear, and, considering how little he gets hurt or wounded compared to tma's other characters, definitely a certain kind of lucky

Thinking about the Dark Crater confrontation in the Dugtrio Day AU... It would happen much sooner because unlike Twig, Echo would be analytical enough to see through "Cresselia" and the solution she proposes, and Darkrai would be forced to reveal his true identity as a result.

Pinna would struggle through the fire-type centric dungeon leading up to it, being a treecko who also is surprisingly weak for the point in the plot that they are, and the second they get to him Echo is garroting Darkrai on the spot for putting her friend through this.

He doesn't even get to monologue or pull the nightmare shtick. They enter the boss room and she wordlessly strangles him with all four ribbons as well as her paws while staring him in the eyes as she does it.

This whole scene had so much going on, but mostly it's about care and love

Mobius decking Brad in the face, and when Loki gently asks him about it (with the intention to help Mobius air his feelings); Mobius says it's not about him, and it's the truth.

We can feel Mobius' sincerity about liking his life here — sure he's scared of what he might find, but he's cherishing the things he found in this one: his work, his friends, LOKI

So what did get under Mobius skin?

Answer: Brad insulting his friends

The fact that Mobius doesn't even really care being called "nothing" (later on in the McD scene he cheerfully reiterates the term while eating); but he would hit anyone who insults the people he cares for the most

That Loki senses this, and instead of working his way out of the tenseness; sits Mobius down, eats pie (which he probably doesn't even like going by his pinched face and scraping fork but pretends it tastes good anyway), and listens

Heck Loki even made fun of his past just to prove to Mobius that losing one's cool is okay (and what a traumatic past Loki dug up)

It works

Mobius is comforted, there is an obvious deepening of their relationship, and (here's the kicker) when Mobius entered the McD's he orders an APPLE PIE

Stressed out that Loki and Sylvie may fight, about what Brad is keeping from them, and the fate of the multiverse; but holding it all together with cheerfulness to keep everyone's spirits up

The comfort food he reaches for is PIE

He seeks the care he needs in PIE

And who was the one he shared pie with right before this scene?

Platonic or romantic or one-sided, it's undeniable that they do love each other

TELL ME ABOUT THE OCS NEEEEEEOOOOWW!!!!!!!!

I've got a whole oc splatband!! half of them dont have names yet, and there's no official band name either...but i do have their personalities down pretty well :D

The barred knifejaw on the left is named Kris and he's very sweet, but he's often assumed to be a crook or just a jerk based on appearance. He's the band's guitarist.

The long spined urchin is the real jerk. they'll call you slurs and dox you on twitter. Also like the urchins in game you can order gear from them and such. They are the band's drummer.

The viperfish in the middle is the band's outgoing singer!! She's very invested in keeping the heavy rock vibes in the crew's music, and she's a certified H2Whoa HATER.

The Inkling is much shyer than the rest of the group, often relying on the rest to take most of the spotlight. She greatly enjoys heavy metal despite playing the synth.

Lastly is Anko the anglerfish. She's very bubbly and romantic, and originally a denizen of the deep! She has poor luck with men and can't figure out why. Anko is the band's bassist.
