Welcome to DailyJSA's JSA Member Tournament!
Tumblr media
Sixty four enter, one takes the crown!
These are characters who were either explicitly stated to be members of the JSA, or very involved with the team to the point that they're basically a member (mainly applies to Thunderbolt). Some are in a grey area due to retcons (such as Hippolyta) or were barely involved with the team, but they still count. Batman, Wonder Woman (Diana), Superman, and Robin have been excluded from this tournament to give other less popular characters a fair chance.
These initial matchups were made with a randomizer to be as fair as possible.
Each week, a round of polls will be posted. All polls will be a week long.
Since there are so many matchups to start, Round One will be split into two parts. The matchups are below the cut for those who may have trouble reading the bracket.
Feel free to send in an ask if you have any questions.

Radiator Springs/Rusteze-Dinoco Racing Center/Fireball Beach/Thunder Hollow/Thomasville/Florida International Speedway (Cars)
Takes place after Cars 3.
It isn’t combat based. Missions include keeping up with McQueen’s top speed by racing down Radiator Springs’ main street, learning how to turn right to go left at Willy’s Butte, keeping up with Cruz’s top speed on Fireball Beach, avoiding pushy competitors with the Thunder Hollow challengers, and practicing with Cruz at Thomasville, culminating in the Piston Cup race at Florida International Speedway, where the objective is to win against Jackson Storm.
Sora enters the world as a custom-made sports coupe mixing a few real-life sports car models before visits to Luigi’s Casa Della Tires and Ramone’s House of Body Art end with him modified into a next-gen race car sponsored by Dinoco (with Tex’s blessing) and with Cruz’s number.
It’s set during Cruz’s first Piston Cup racing season, so McQueen still has Doc’s colors and spends the Florida race as Sora’s crew chief.
As Sora finishes his story, Mater is certainly unhappy with Xehanort’s actions forcing Sora’s hand. “That dad-gum Xehanort”, he says angrily. Extra points if Sora doesn’t get to the part where Xehanort is dead, then Sarge gets in his face and demands him to teach Xehanort a lesson when he gets back in a militaristic manner. “Is that understood,” Sarge yells. Then Sora tries to correct him, but gets cut off and asked again, “Is that understood,” and has to respond, “Sir, yes, sir!”
Of course, during the top speed races, Luigi is the one to signal the race to begin.
In the Radiator Springs race, Sora’s top speed is tracked by Sheriff’s speed radar, and on Fireball Beach, it’s via Cruz’s personal assistant, Hamilton.
If you fail the “Turn Right to go Left” mission, Sora goes flying into the bed of cacti, and Mater fishes him out.
I know I’ll get hate for this, but Cars 2 elements are here. Heck, maybe Mater can’t be present most for the training because he’s busy with Finn and Holley. After all, does he still owe Holley a first date?
I wanted the player character in this world to be Kairi just so Storm can feel the embarrassment of losing to not one, but two “costume girls”.
The Piston Cup race is announced as a 500-lap race, but no game developer is that malicious to force the player to race 500 laps around an oval, so they’d take after the first Cars game and make it twelve laps with the sun slowly lowering throughout the race.
Cast:

Note
Not the same anon but earlier today I saw a fan casting and they wanted Tyler Lawrence grey for ace and I wanted to cry, he does have freckles so like one point for him, but I’m sorry I can’t see ace being played by a white boi from Massachusetts
My main criteria is genuinely just no white casting for Ace

MEET GREER’S YOUNGER BROTHER  - THE PROUD ELITE.
{ FACECLAIM, 21, GENDER, (HE/HIM or HE/THEY) } Is that FIRST NAME MORRISON? A SOPHOMORE originally from MANHATTAN, NY, they decided to come to Ogden College to study MAJOR. They’re THE PROUD ELITE on campus, but even they could get blamed for Greer’s disappearance.
NOTE: This character is the fraternal twin of THE UNFAVORITE (Cara Morrison - Lily-Rose Depp) and should match the ethnicity of Madelyn Cline (Greer Morrison’s FC). For more information on Greer and the Morrison family, you can go to her page here !!!
ABOUT THIS SKELETON: A picture perfect family - THE GOLDEN GIRL and THE PROUD ELITE, both able to charm any crowd they are in. Many would think that they were the Morrison twins with how close they are. But no - Greer is just the eldest, a perfect daughter, and The Proud Elite is the apple of his parent’s eyes. Is there pressure on both of their shoulders ?? Of course, but they handle it well. Or appear to. And they have each other, which has to help. Right ??
MAJOR PLOT POINTS THUS FAR:
After the time capsule leak, the cops interviewed everyone on campus again - as fitting for one of Greer’s closest allies, THE PROUD ELITE’s interview didn’t just go well...it went perfect. The officers pried them for as much information as they could, even sharing some smaller details about the investigation pertaining to THE GOLDEN GIRL’s disappearance.
...And then G did as well.
SUGGESTED FCS:
George Sear, Adrian Ojvindsson, Christopher Briney, Tom Holland, Harris Dickinson, Tanner Buchanan, Tyler Lawrence Grey, Thomas Doherty, Rudy Pankow, Felix Mallard, Alex Fitzalan, Jordan Elsass, Herman Tommeraas, Kyle Allen, Evan Roderick, Chris Veres
CHECK OUT OUR WANTED CONNECTIONS !!!
SUGGESTED CONNECTIONS BELOW THE CUT
THE BIG MAN ON CAMPUS grew up with THE PROUD ELITE, THE UNFAVORITE...and THE GOLDEN GIRL, of course, part of a privileged circle of playmates that will inevitably turn into the most convenient of connections to have.
THE UNFAVORITE is firmly on the opposite side of a familial fault from THE PROUD ELITE, mostly thanks to THE GOLDEN GIRL. But this relationships are sure to get more complicated now that they’re all at Ogden with Greer nowhere to be found.
THE PROUD ELITE and THE HEDONIST are both extremely privileged for many reasons - the least of which isn’t how close to THE GOLDEN GIRL they are. But not just anyone gets a seat in her inner circle.
THE PROUD ELITE is intelligent, there’s no question about it. But he also knows that the truly intelligent use their resources - hence THE GOLDEN GIRL connecting him with THE ERUDITE STONER as soon as he was on campus.
Surely they aren’t friends....but THE PROUD ELITE quite possibly was an even bigger customer of THE SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT than THE GOLDEN GIRL was. Though he’d likely deny it, if you asked.
Well, they aren’t called THE FEMME FATALE for no reason, and despite their sometimes questionable loyalty to THE GOLDEN GIRL, even THE PROUD ELITE couldn’t resist them. Poor Greer, with her brother’s previous unfailing loyalty wavering in the face of a hook-up.
If there’s one thing THE GOLDEN GIRL counted on from her circle, it was being everyone’s favorite. So if she learned that THE FALLEN PRINCESS and THE PROUD ELITE had been growing closer behind her back? Well, can’t imagine her liking that.
THE PROUD ELITE has been untrusting of THE PUPPETMASTER and their relationship with THE GOLDEN GIRL…but without Greer, will they manage to get another Morrison on their strings to pull?
Well, THE GOLDEN GIRL may be have disappeared, but at least her very own brother, THE PROUD ELITE, swooped in to become buddies with THE HOMEGROWN HERO - he may not have exactly the same reputation, but it does the job !!!
THE BUSYBODY has a bit of a fascination with campus gossip - or maybe they just have an incredibly good memory for it. But with THE GOLDEN GIRL gone, who is the next person that will be the focus of all that? At least if it’s THE NEPO BABY, they’re used to it. Or perhaps they’ll shift tactics to focus on the Morrison who can stand up the most closely to Greer - get front row seats in case THE PROUD ELITE cracks.
