Tyche; Prayer for trust in the workings of fate
O Tyche, Goddess of fortune and fate,
I come to you in times of dismay.
When disappointment weighs heavy on my heart,
Guide me to see with clearer eyes.
Help me find the strength to accept what is,
And find peace in your embrace.
Though storms may rage and troubles persist,
I surrender my worries and trust in your plan.
I embrace the unknown,
Knowing that with you, I will never be alone.

Engage in random acts of kindness; paying for the meal of the person behind you, holding the door for someone, returning an item someone dropped, etc.
Try to focus on lifting others - including yourself - up; be kind, provide words of encouragement, give emotional support when able, etc.
Try not to engage in gossip too much; such things can unjustly ruin a person's reputation

Place a good luck charm at the entrance of your room or home
Handmake your own bread; bake something by hand
Hand out cookies, pastries, etc. to your neighbors (please double-check allergies first)
Give any kids in your life a gift; a new toy, candy, cool jewelry, a video game, etc.
Wear an outfit that makes you feel good and confident; doll yourself up simply for yourself
Try something new; do something with a calculated risk
-
I'll likely add more in the future, but for now, this is my list of discreet ways to worship Tyche. I felt like I had a lot of ideas for her, so I kind of had to stop myself from writing too much. 😂 I hope someone finds this helpful and enjoys these suggestions. Take care, everyone, and may fortune be in your favor! 💚

subtle tyche worship 🍀
- carry a lucky charm
- carry around dice
- play card games
- doodle luck symbolism on papers/notes (four leaf clovers!)
- learn dice divination
- make a luck sigil & put it on the back of a phone case (can easily cover up with a sticker too if you need to be discreet & have a clear phone case)
- wear green or any other colors you associate with luck
- play darts
- wish others good luck
- wear ribbons to represent her blindfold
- press four leaf clovers
- if you’re crafty, making a devotional keychain, necklaces, or bracelet is always a good idea
- collect coins
- try to do things out of your comfort zone, take risks!
these are good if you’re needing to be discreet, but also if you’re looking for ways to bring your worship in daily life! i know that’s something i struggle with so i wanted to share :)

hi! i’m not sure if you work with tyche, but if you do: can i ask what personal signs you saw that made you realize? if not no worries :) luck symbols like four leaf clovers, ladybugs, etc have been following me so much…a dream about dice…
I honor Tyche often, but I don’t personally work with her. I do work with and worship other deities who I’ve gotten signs from, though! One example is Hera. I worship her and was called to her through signs. Lots of cows, peacocks, the works.
My personal rule is that if I see something I can consider a sign three times in a row, it’s a sign. I’d recommend choosing one thing (if you’d like) to focus on. You could simply ask for signs in general, I just tend to ask for one thing because my brain is too busy to recognize multiple signs. Ask to see three ladybugs. Three dice. Whatever you’d like!
I also want to point out that you do not need signs to work with or worship a deity! For deity work, I like to worship the deity for a bit to build up a relationship, then move on to work whenever I feel comfortable. It helps to establish an altar (if you want one) and to understand what exactly goes into worshipping said deity (their favorite offerings, the best prayers, etc.). But really, you don’t have to do that either. You can simply start working with a deity. If you believe a deity is reaching out, worship (or work with) them! Honestly, there’s no risks unless you are outwardly rude to them (and you’d know if you were being rude).
Good luck! Tyche is a lovely deity and she’s one of the minority that was worshipped in Ancient Greece, meaning there’s a lot of research about her. Have fun!

Haven’t really practiced paganism in ages, but today I freaked out my mum by winning poker 5-0 after praying to the gods. Got ace pairs and three 3s repeatedly too.
I promised offerings to Loki, Apollo and Dionysus, but I think I need to give offerings to Tyche and Nike too. And definitely the Fates and Norns, like the three 3s definitely seems to be pointing to them.
Not really worth the hassle lol, but a cool experience to connect with the gods. I'm kinda impulsive sometimes 😅

Prayer to Tyche
Divine Tyche,
I seek your embrace,
Bless this new journey,
Guide my steps with your gentle hand,
Fill my heart with courage, my mind with ease
Grant me wisdom to navigate each task
And bless me with luck as I step into the unknown.

Praying to Lady Tyche tonite for justice to reign supreme tomorrow, to guide an election on which our religious freedoms as hellenists, as pagans, and as witches hinges. I pray to Lord Dionysus to see right an election on which our rights as Queer people, as trans people, and as neurodiverse ppl hinges, an election that could end democracy and secede to fascism. And too do I pray to the victorious lady Nike, to guide Harris, despite the qualms I have with her, to victory to spare us from an irreparable future under the conservatives. I pray to Artemis, to protect the women, the mothers, whose bodily autonomy and rights as women hinge on its outcome as well. Stay strong my witches, my hellenists, my pagans, my brothers and sisters, and don’t ever loose hope, don’t let that torch burn out, because justice dies in the darkness. 🏛️💙

intro
Tumblr media Tumblr media
hello tumblr! my name is salem and this is my digital grimoire sideblog ᡣ𐭩 see my list of tags here
i post anything related to my personal journey with spirituality and paganism / hellenistic polytheism!
i am a complete beginner, so my askbox is open for advice and tips rather than only questions.
Tumblr media
personally, i am interested in witchcraft, but i'm saving starting that for after i build connection with the deities i desire to work with.
i am starting with aphrodite and plan to work with tyche and nyx in the near future!
other than working with deities, my strongest interests are spell jars, crystals, and possibly tarot
Tumblr media
generally, i will block freely, but i want to make it clear that i do not want to interact with proshippers, radinclus, endogenic/tulpagenic systems & supporters, and anti-spiritualists.
and lastly, while im at it; a digital offering to the one and only goddess of love & beauty 🎀
