i'm just not in the greatest space mentally & physically right now, 2025 is on thin ice with me and we're only 9 days in.

the kicker to it all is i was so excited to start work on some qaf edits i had ideas for, i wanna try and make more of those this year and play with overlays etc. but life decided to step in and send me spiralling so my motivation for that has died at the minute.

fingers crossed, when i can get to a more stable space i will be able to play around with those as qaf and brian will always be special to me.

also it really warms my heart when people like you are so kind about my gifs in general like the ones you have no connection to or know the source media. as a multi fandom girlie i'm always kinda wary of trying to balance what i gif because at some points i will hyperfixate on certain things more than others and i have such a wide range of followers.

hopefully, the hardship will pass soon and i'll be feeling more ease and happiness.

OCTOBER 25, 2024, 7.30AM THE WEAVER INN.

micah wakes up to his phone ringing in his hand. he'd only fallen asleep three hours prior while facetiming his best friend ravi. when micah answers the call, all micah sees filling the screen is a white birthday cake with the words 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZEEMO' in pink icing, the letters resembling more like random squiggly lines than actual words. ravi hadn't slept yet as he's still a little jet-lagged from his recent trip from thailand (yes, only a few weeks after his trip to blue harbor!), and instead spent the three hours that micah was asleep baking a cake with his girlfriend, rita. from behind a shaky camera, ravi and rita's voices can be heard saying, "make a wish, z!" to which micah only responds in a very tony leung with the tape recorder in happy together way. after having a good sob session, he gets ready for work (he's been working at the assembly depot for a week now!), gives heart reacts to the few birthday messages he receives, listens to some voicemails, and steps out of room 109 at the weaver inn to face the day for the thirtieth year in a row. a new record.

So it's one of those swap aus but the swaping really isn't cut and dry (except for one or two exceptions) so like Ao Lie swaps with Wukong in the sense that he's now the immortal mentor character

but anyways here's all the main (established) swaps:

Pigsy/Zhu Bajie ←→ DBK  Tang/Tripy - PIF / Macaque PIF - Tang/Tripy / Pigsy/Zhu Bajie Macaque - Tang/Tripy / Wukong  Wukong - Macaque  Mei - MK MK - Red Son  Red Son - Mei / MK  Ao Lie - Wukong  Sandy ←→ Nezha 

So yeah the swaps are kind of messy but at the end of the day it works story wise. Also some things aren't quite like the show/jttw, like Wukong "takes" Macaque's place and dies but he stays dead and other stuff like that.

And when i write the fic i'm planning on making a go along series that will follow Wukong and his journey in the past to help explain how things ended up like during modern day with Mei

but enough about the swap stuff we want Mei. SO Mei has water based powers (no fire) and the staff (monkey king's staff only it's not monkey king's staff anymore it Ao Lie because Ao Guang gave Ao Lie the staff so he use it to protect himself on Ao lie's Journey to the west). The staff is semi-sentient (inspired by stick from Netflix's monkey king movie) and chose Mei as a master leaving it position guarding two very dangerous people. As for the water powers she inherited them from her dragon family (grandpa is dragon king of the west sea and all) though surprisingly her water powers are really strong which makes up for her lack of ability to turn into a dragon (in the eyes (some members) of her family.) Her water powers allow her to control bodies of water/Hydrokinesis (tho she struggles more with creating water/rain), breath underwater and handle deep sea pressures, have perfect bearing while at sea, and understand/control some sea creatures to a limited extent. Being in contact with water will also empower her to some extent. Despite all this it takes her a long time to unlock her hidden potential.

Moving on: Mei is best friends with Red Son and works for his parents at "Bull's Barbecue" where she's delivery girl (bc hey she swapped with mk). Her (kind of depressed) dad is Macaque who tells her a lot of stories about the heroes of old, but wait I hear you asking me "what happened to her parents?" well that maybe related to her power set...

but yeah there you go, a quick au Mei over view.

or: after Oda’s death, Dazai swore he wouldn’t let himself love anyone again. but as he grows closer to Kunikida, he finds some promises are harder to keep than others.

He’s considered this course of action before, but he always vetoed the thought before it could end up anywhere potent. To resurrect on such a tiny scale, to pick a handful of souls out of eight billion crying dead- it might hurt Alecto, and more importantly it might hurt their souls, not to mention it would be impossible. But all those grievances are minuscule when compared to John’s vast loneliness. They poke out like little pins in a vast empty unfinished quilt. He wants to start big. His nana is a no-go, she’d be furious. Anyone he knew in life is out of bounds, outside maybe Gary or the nun. They liked where he was headed, but even they might not appreciate the omnicide. The thought comes to John unbidden: What if they didn’t remember?

Or; John prepares to resurrect his oldest friends.

I can't say anything BC it's the same (almost) unit of measurement that I apply when I go to concerts.

Smsmksksa (not so much) joking aside, the mic unit of measurement is the most useful and obvious for the concert donut. I know they updated the number and positions of the mics,, so I am now kind of curious of the ratio drum riser/mics on the stage. Like there are 4 battle station on the donut, how many mics between every drum kit? This is a math problem due to monday
