Finished watching Dead Boy Detectives. Here are my honest thoughts.

-If you're going into it expecting another Good Omens, stop. Our protagonists are all minors. Teenagers. They cuss, they have total dirty mouths and sexual humor, but they are not eternal beings pretending to be middle aged men. They're ghosts. Dead Boys, if you will. Also this might be a stretch, but I'm assuming from the slightly less good CGI that the budget for this series was a LOT less than what it was for GO

-Edwin is kind of a dick in the first episode. But it's okay. Because character growth is swag.

-REALISTIC CHARACTER GROWTH!!! I liked Edwin a LOT more during the second episode BECAUSE of the character growth. And honestly? It's completely natural that bro is more than a little prickly after only being able to trust one guy for an extremely long time. Fair enough my guy. Carry on.

- this show kinda has Nimona vibes. If that makes sense. Witty humor, somewhat sexual dialogue, funny moments during serious times, though geared towards a younger audience. If you like those kinds of things, you will like this, I'm sure of it.

- In the early episodes, the pacing/character relationships feel a little off??? I'm not sure if that was because I was expecting another Good Omens or what. But after 2-3 episodes, the dust quickly settled and we got into the actual storyline. Which was extremely appreciated✨

-these villains are FUCKED up. I'm telling you. They are HORRIFIC. Had me squirming and cringing through their intense scenes. And gosh. That was a TRIP.

-TY TENANT PLAYS THE MAIN GUY EDWIN!!!! And he plays him WELL. I did not realize this going in to the show and thought his face was VERY familiar. Only after I looked it up did I realize why. He's our sassy son of Job. (EDIT: turns out Ty plays the Doom Patrol version. Not the one on Netflix. My bad! They do look pretty similar though, so ykw. Great casting. Also my point still stands. This guy is a pretty fuckin awesome actor. 10/10)

-Cat King is such a wild card holy SHIT.

-Charles is cute as fuck. His backstory HURTS. But also. I love the way his ears look. Like in the pictures that I saw of him they were of when the Cat King impersonated him so I was like oh chill. So he's got pointed ears bc feline but NOPE. He's just like that!! And honestly? Slay. I fuckin love it.

-oh did I mention tragic backstories???? Yeah we got those :D for everyone :D

-Niko is the best and I love her. Also I love how the letters on her desk are written in Japanese. That is a VERY nice touch of character building.

-hot butcher lady with throat tattoo

All in all. A truly delightful series and I genuinely hope it gets another season because I NEED to know what happens next. My little sister LOVED it and the ending had us all staring open mouthed at the TV screen in shock.

This 15yo girl is literally ranting my ear off, having adventures with the Dead Boys in her dreams and chatting with me about it, searching up fanfics and drawing fanart, the whole shabang. And it is DIFFICULT for this girl to get into shows like this. So honestly? This is perfect. Thank you, Neil. For giving us a whole other banger.

That being said. If anybody else has some younger siblings that are around 15-17 and are looking for shows to binge watch together, this is the perfect one. I'm telling you, you will NOT regret it (except maybe emotionally)

The next day, the Slytherin house was bustling as the first quidditch game of the year was about to commence. As Slytherins did with everything, they were very serious about quidditch, wanting to win more than anyone else.

The quidditch team always left early and had team breakfast so that meant you, Pansy, and Daphne were left to spend the morning together before the match.

You all get ready in your dorm, putting on green paint and wearing all slytherin attire. This was the first game for any house this season so it was a big deal.

Shortly before match time, you all head to the pitches sitting together in the Slytherin stand. As Theo warms up and stretches, he sees you. He points up at you and you blow a kiss back. 

“You guys are so cute” Daphne mentions as she claps. You didn’t respond, just smiling to yourself. The boys start the match, the stadium roaring.

You couldn’t help but notice that Mattheo wasn’t here, but you had a feeling quidditch was a touchy subject for him. You hadn’t pushed him into talking about the subject and figured he would tell you when he was ready….but that was before he switched back to the old mattheo. 

The match was close, Slytherin down by ten points. Theo grabbed the quaffle, weaving through a sea of Hufflepuff players. One knocks into him but he recovers before throwing the quaffle through the hoop, scoring and tying the game. 

Everyone cheered. Only a moment later does Draco come up with the golden snitch, ending the game and marking a win for Slytherin. You leave the stand, heading down towards the locker room. You were going to be ready to congratulate Theo when he came out. 

You stood there, waiting for him, when a sixth year Gryffindor walked by with her friend, “Mattheo Riddle? Seriously?”

The girl responds back, “what? He’s hot…and he knows what he’s doing.”

“So he’s good in bed?”

“More than good. It was amazing” you hear as they walk past. Your attention was cut off when Draco touched your shoulder.

“Hey!” You smile, throwing your arms around him. Draco hated hugs but he tolerated them from you, “great game D”

“Thanks, Theo should be out in a minute” he mentions before heading back to the castle.

You wait for a few more minutes before Theo comes out, picking you up and spinning you around instantly.

“You did great!” You exclaim as he lets you down. You start walking with him towards the castle, holding hands.

You walk through the halls of the castle towards the Slytherin house when you see Mattheo sketching in his notebook off to the side in the hall. He was well hidden but you easily found him.

“Hey I forgot I have to grab something from the library.” You mention. Theo stops walking, “do you want me to go with you?”

“No it’s ok, I’ll meet up with you in a minute” you say before pecking his cheek. He walks away. Once he turns around the corner, you walk over to Mattheo.

“You’re sleeping with Melanie Zorra?” You ask abruptly. He doesn’t stop drawing until you take the book out of his hands.

“Why does it matter to you?” He retorts.

“Mattheo, she’s a gryffindor. She’s not even pure blood.” You scoff.

“So what? I can sleep with whoever I want.”

“I just think you could do better.” You shrug.

“Better, right…like you?” He raises an eyebrow and stares at you as he stands up, wanting his notebook back in his possession.

“I-“ you start.

“Jealousy looks good on you.” He says as he swipes his book back, catching you off guard.

“I’m not jealous.” You defend yourself. You knew you were, but you didn’t want him to know that. Nobody could know that. 

“Are you sure? Because it sounds like you’re jealous.” He smirks.

“Why would I be? I’m with Theo and I love him.” You say. You were trying to convince yourself. You hadn’t said the L word before but you had to try to make it clear to Mattheo.

“No you don’t.” He states, emotionless.

“You can’t tell me how I feel Mattheo.” You respond back. You were now only inches away.

“If you loved him, you wouldn’t be talking to me right now or asking why I’m sleeping with a bloody gryffindor.” He snaps back.

You stare into his eyes, inches apart, not sure what to say.

“I have to go.” You say. You stare into his eyes, glancing at his lips every once in a while. He does the same thing, those big brown eyes once again making you melt inside.

“Then go.” He says, not looking away or backing up. 

You stare at him for another moment before walking away. You look back at him, seeing him hold his notebook by his side, his other hand rubbing his mouth as he watches you walk away.

As you walk back through the castle by yourself, you try not to get mad at Mattheo. Who was he to say you were jealous? To say that you weren’t in love with Theo? It was absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for.

You walk back to the Slytherin house, seething from your conversation. Once you walk in, you make your way up to Theo’s dorm, opening the door as he pulls a shirt over his head.

“Hey” he smiles before walking up to you and connecting your lips with his.

“Hi”, you smile back, “are we partying tonight?”

“Obviously, want me to pick you up at 10?” Theo asks, placing his hands on your ass.

“Sure, can’t wait.” You smiled into a kiss before backing away and leaving his room. You really were excited to party but you were also thinking about what had happened at the last one. You had kissed Mattheo at the last one. Really kissed him.

You head back to your room and talk with Pansy for a while, gossiping about all of Hogwarts practically before you guys realize it’s dinner time. You head down to the great hall and grab some food to go, heading back up to your dorm.

You two start getting ready after eating a bit. You put on a black satin skirt and a mesh black top, with your bra underneath.You add black platform high heel boots and pin half of your hair up with a claw clip.

You stand in front of the bathroom mirror, applying red lipstick when Theo walks in. 

“You’re so hot.” Theo says as he wraps his arms around you from behind, leaning down and resting his head on your shoulder.

“Thank you.” You look into the mirror, seeing the two of you together. You looked good with him and everyone could see that but upon looking for yourself, you felt something was missing.

You blinked, coming back to reality, “let’s go” you pat his hand. 

He leads you out of the dorm, Pansy throwing on some perfume when you shut the door. The music was booming and the common room was packed from corner to corner with Slytherins. Some were playing games, some were just talking, some were drinking, and of course there were those who were making out with each other.

You head over to the liquor table and pour yourself a shot. You down it easily before making yourself another drink, meeting Theo over on the couch. You sit on his lap as you sip your drink, listening to the conversation around you. 

You continue sipping your drink as Theo rubs his hand along your thigh subtly.

“Oh my god.” Aria, a sixth year Slytherin says.

You look over to where she is to see Mattheo walking into the common room with none other than Melanie Zorra. Great, he brought the skank to the party.

He's very relaxed and calm at all times, any questions she may have will be answered with ease. He'll get some maids to get her snacks and listen to her randomly tell him something about an obscure topic.

Whenever you go on walks, he'll maybe put her on his shoulders or hold her hand, whilst he pulls you close by your waist. He does that to fluster you, especially when people confuse you all as a family. It makes him beam with pride.

He'll play some games with her during his breaks and teaches her how to play Xiangqi with him. He's just so gentle and patient with her, it's too adorable to see him this way for you.

Another man who can definitely handle your sister on his own, so you can take some time for yourself and relax.

He's a little nervous and worried at first, because he's scared to do some wrong or offend her in some way on accident. But soon after meeting your sister, he realises that there is no need to be worried.

He'll still need alot of your help though, mainly because he's unsure of how to deal with a kid like her. And so he just does whatever she wants to do. Going with the flow seems to always work out for him and so that ends up with him drawing with her for hours on end. It was actually fun and relaxing for him.

He'll try answering all her questions, though some he'll probably also have to look up for her. He gets a little panicked when he can't answer something, which makes you thankful help him out. It's adorable to see how much he cares about doing his job right.

Caelus is definitely holding onto both of your hands, whilst you walk. Or maybe he'll carry your little sister around, if she wants to. Whatever keeps you both close and in his line of sight for safety, is good enough for him.

He is glad, when you tell him how proud you are of him by the end of the day. He always does his best for you, after all.

So this isn't a request or anything but have you heard people's hc about winter king killing his universe's version of marcy somehow? I'd like to think that the situation was something along the lines of him thinking he had it all under control, going to see marcy, and then the crown taking over...and, well, you know.

ANYWAYS I see a lot of WK comforting simon over their mutual lonliness, but what about Simon comforting WK over the guilt and grief he feels for marceline? I imagine he'd be terrified to tell Simon because he thinks he'd hate him for it- which is a valid fear. But he isn't. He'd already kinda figured it out a while ago. Instead, he pulls him close and tells him it's not his fault. He knows WK finds his body heat comforting. He continues stroking his hair long after his tears have stopped, until he's fast asleep.

Anyways I needed to share that with someone who would appreciate it, ty for reading this!!! I love your art so so so much. 💙🖤

Hello there! :D I absolutely love all theories about the ice Marcy. People are so creative with these! My favorite one is that Winter King froze/killed Marcy because she was furious that he made Bubblegum crazy. He thought she'd be so happy to see him "normal" again but it turned out she was angry... so he, influenced by the crown, did what he did, but *still* loved Marcy and wanted to be with her. So he created someone (or something... who knows) that is *almost* like her.

About the second part - I'd love to draw that idea too, but I didn't want to make you wait for my reply so much haha :D So you'll see that soon!! I think that they have a mutual understanding of their loneliness. Completely different kinds, but deep down they're still the same person and experience it quite closely. Simon can see all of that in Winter King's behavior, even if he's acting like everything is cool. Simon knows how he would act and can see that in WK's words and actions.

So be prepared for some more art based on all of that >:) I love it when people send me their ideas hehe

1 - 02/12/2023 : liked the idea of Heidi with a buzzcut, i think it really suits her, a radical change from her usual hairstyle, but a cool one... i love having futch OCs

2 - 04/12/2023 : chike chike chike.. frogot why i drew him think i was thinking of him doing cat things and it was gonna be a lot more than 2 drawings but i gived up x ,, but this is the most up 2 date drawing of his current design aside from like. the one colour wheel wip. so ur getting crumbs for him im sorry chike fans (1 person)

3-6 - 05/12/2023 : firstly, saw sum official art of Peach on twitter and wanted to redraw it, i loveee her eyes.. slay.. secondly, DIESEL REDESIGN YAY1!! it is now up to date. yippie. i decided he should be fat, very big brain of me.. i didnt Hate his old design but it was kinda giving kokichi danganronpa and like thats not him LOL.. but anyway i luv this drawing

thirdly, a Robin, was testing out the redesign a lil, think i was listening to his playlist again hence the comeback kid lyrics.. aaand fourthly (is that a word) another Diesel, a bit of a model series expression redraw, u kno the one where hes like >:D i enjoyed drawing his coat.. oo duende..

7 - 08/12/2023 : okay guys lets take a silly one now!!! erm anyway. was thinking about nina and the neurons, as you do, thought it would be funny to draw nina activating her neurons, like that 1 pic of the guy levitating pizza.... she served so hard with her claires accessories rave ball earrings and fluffy bobbles tho lets be real.. was very disappointed to learn shes not a real scientist

8 - 12/12/2023 : twas in the middle of finalising a design for my human Sonny, so heres some lil phone doodles where i was figuring out his hair and hat, i ended up going with the right hand side, thought it would be worth posting them

9 - 16/12/2023 : first sort of draft of his design being put to use, not my faaave drawing but it was nice to finally get him drawn, it was an absolute ballache trying to get his design perfect, the art block was Strong that week.. anyway, i did end up changing some things, just tweaks mostly, and i scrapped the hoodie, i wanted him to have a bigass varsity jacket collar to hide behind, so i opted for him wearing a plain t-shirt underneath instead, eventually

Prompt 16: a kiss on the back of the neck (nape)

Gavin x F!reader

Her hair is left untied framing her back beautifully but knowing her she never likes doing any work when her hair is in the way. She must’ve forgotten to tie her hair when she rushed to the sink so that I wouldn’t have to do the dishes. There’s not much I say when she insists on me resting after a long mission, so at least now when she looks annoyed, I know I can do something to ease her. 

A soft chuckle escapes me, seeing her try to carefully manoeuvre the locks of hair away from her face without risking soap suds on it. When that fails, she moves her head to the other side just to avoid them from blocking her vision but unfortunately the stubborn locks of hair continue falling over. 

Quickly before her annoyance erupts, I find her hair ties from the dressing table in our bedroom. When I’m behind her, my fingers run through her soft hair once, twice. I can feel her smile forming as I play with her hair before gathering it—taking the stubborn locks from the sides of her face and tying it all into a ponytail. Then I tighten her ponytail, just how she likes it.

“Thank you,” she sighs, a ghost of laughter apparent in her tone. 

I don’t move away, my eyes grow transfixed with her nape. Somehow my eyes always follow her movements when she ties her hair into a bun or a ponytail, attracted to the bare skin hidden beneath. Her baby hairs tickles my nose as I nuzzle closer. She tries to move away, but my arms tighten around her, and she squirms.

“Gavin,” she whines. “It tickles!”

“Just stay still…for a moment,” I hear my voice—husky, against her nape. 

She listens. Somehow, I know vividly what expression she has on right now, as I breathe slowly against her nape. Eyes closed, warm cheeks, teeth tugging her bottom lip and hands gripping the plate that has yet to be washed. 

I draw in my breath slowly against her nape once more and feel her neck move to the side slightly when my fingers rest against it. Then, my lips touch her nape with a long wet kiss. I hear it clearly, the pleased sigh she exhales. Warmth, satisfaction and pride rushes through me, knowing my touch makes her feel so good, that just to tease her, I drag my bottom lip across her skin when the kiss ends.

A/N: Thank you for reading❤️ I was inspired by one nape kiss scene from Personal Taste that has stuck with me since the first time I watched the drama. The guy gets so captivated with the girl's exposed nape and kisses it. Nape kisses are so sensual and vulnerable~

Hi! No, it's not weird at all! It always makes me really happy that people see themselves in the way I portray characters, whether in be physically or emotionally. And I also appreciate your analysis, as I never really thought it through like that. It was always just a Yeah... this feels right.. Kind of deal. Someone did point out how elves typically are very very slim (not to criticize my art, they were very sweet) so I think it's very nice that overall people really like the way I draw her despite that.

6. Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?

Alessia 100% thinks they're flexible. For her a law should be broken if it's morally wrong or cruel to abide by it. She will also definitely break laws to follow something she believes in.

28.  Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth? 

Alessia would prefer the unpleasant truth. If it's coming from Ash or Delphia the lie is something she'd appreciate even if she wouldn't like that either lied to spare her feelings. She doesn't want anyone to think they can't be honest with her.

30.  Who do they most regret meeting? 

In the god universe she regrets meeting the first guardian she made. That guardian slaughtered people in a weird attempt to protect Delphia and scarred her. Alessia would give anything to undo that.

Outside of the god universe she doesn't have many regrets about people she's met. Sometimes she regrets meeting people of her partners' sizes. It makes her wonder if their size difference isn't something they can really ignore.

B) What inspired you to create them?

So I had read an idea of a giant reaching through a window. I wanted to use that and started making Delphia, but I wanted it to be a giant offering the human a safe place. I figured protection would be best, so Alessia became the goddess of protection. As I played around with the plot and trying to figure out what I wanted Delphia to be I realized I wanted Alessia to be someone who truly did embody protection. I also wanted her to draw people into trusting her. So a kinder voice, soft looks, and such things.

Basically I wanted someone who felt trustworthy and safe. Who kind of embodied protection. That created her start and then as I wrote about her relationship with Delphia and Ash it created more of her personality.

D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?

For the most part Alessia's image stayed the same in my head. Soft, round face, chubby, night sky/blue hair, brown eyes, and usually dressed in a golden armor. The thing that has changed is how much her muscle is defined where I tend to go with it isn't really. Very misleading idea, but at first the image was a bit more warrior like in my head. I prefer the idea of protection equating to soft and kind looking. So her strength has been hidden over time by her design :D
