Similar question to the last nugget one but how would ya recommend picking your nuggets ‘canon’ outfit n gifts if you do multiple runs? I’m only on my first run rn and I’m p attached to their current gifts n ego but idk how that’ll change w a new set of abnormalities

there’s no rules that say you can’t have nuggets wear multiple sets of outfits and gifts~ (courtney hogs three ego suits on their own…) so just play around and have fun! lobotomy corporation is the world’s most stressful but cutest dress up game to me 😤✨

what normally happened is we picked based on what looks best or gameplay needs and we got so used to seeing it on them… then when I want to deepen their character I use symbolism from what abnormalities I associate with them (which can come from what abnos they work with but also what ego they wear) (or for ego gifts it can just retroactively become a part of their body that was always there like stubble, or a design aspect with no symbolic meaning)

ah.. but for the extremely special case of robertus, we decided to make the big bird suit and ego gift their canon outfit after their dramatic character defining moment bc it fit them symbolically … ah…

advice for picking appearance wise: you can literally go to picrew, search “lobotomy” in english, and a whole bunch of em will pop up~ have fun~! however, there’s a lot of fun in randomness, so you can choose to do this after you’ve mostly decided your nugget’s personality and just want to try out new looks heeheehawhaw

you can also think of it like pokemon evolution lol (?!) like this is my nugget’s HE form and this is their ALEPH form~ because you’ll naturally get better stuff as you progress~ e.g., Sergey started out with Wellcheers → Der Freischutz (what they wore most of the time) → Mountain of Smiling Bodies

don’t be too worried about setting things in stone immediately! lobcorp is quite a long game, so take your time, notice if you think anything looks particularly good on your nuggets or if its symbolism resonates, and follow your heart~

i’m beyond giddy for the holidays per usual and i was wondering if you’re up to writing about aaron, reader, jack, and their babygirl searching for a christmas tree!? maybe decorating it and snuggling together to watch a holiday movie when the day comes to a close?

i’m going crazy i need domestic family fluff with aaron because he deserves everything great in life🙂‍↕️

🥹🥹🥹 this is the family's first real christmas tree too!! you've always just used an artificial tree - it was easier while jack and ellie were younger - but now that they're older, there's no better time but the present 🥰

aaron comes home from work early one friday afternoon, and the pair of you bundle up the kids, get them in the car, and drive to the nearest christmas tree farm 🥰🥰 all while the christmas radio is playing of course.

you all get there just as the sun was beginning to set, so the temperature was dropping quickly as the sun was leaving, especially since some snow was beginning to roll in too 🥰 but are jack and ellie bothered by the cold? absolutely not, as they're SO super excited (and again, because you and aaron made sure they had their winter coats, hat, and gloves on😭). honestly you're the one who's the coldest 😭 despite being bundled up yourself - you're shaking a bit, teeth are vaguely chattering, and aaron makes sure to stay at your side, wrapping his arms around you every so often so his warmth can transfer onto you 🥹🥹😭<333

jack and ellie are leading the way, and they're enamored by the selection of large, beautiful trees 😭 there's sooo many to choose from. jack points at just about every single one, showing his little sister, and omg that causes ellie to shriek in excitement even more 😭 she turns back to you and aaron, all smiles, and is all :o "HOW are we going to pick one?????"

and naturally they start feeling bad for the weak, scraggly, tossed aside and forgotten trees 🥺 they immediately begin asking if you could get one of those <33

aaron's face pulls into a slight grimace at first because it is an eye sore, and the needles are bound to be on the ground faster than you can blink. but after ellie's sweet "daddy please", jack's yearning eyes, and just the fact the two of them believe your family must give it a home, because no one else will, how can he say no???? how.

so sure enough, one does come home with the four of you 😭 after exchanging a look with aaron, you picked ellie up, and said "of course, we'll give it the best home ever." <3333 it'll go in the playroom, and the normal, full family tree will go in the living room. everyone's happy 🥰 you also assure jack and ellie that you'll have to go to the store, to pick out lights and some ornaments for it 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

after tying the (two😭) trees on top of the car, grabbing dinner on the way home, you begin setting up the tree right away <333 it takes a second - you and aaron (and jack🥹) move some furniture around the living room to get it in the perfect spot, put the tree up. you grab the ornament boxes as aaron works on fluffing the tree, making sure the branches are evenly spaced. as aaron did so too, he was nearly stepping on ellie and jack who were crowding around him in impatience 😭🫶🏻 like ellie was literally at his feet, watching him and asking repeatedly how much longer 🤨😫, LOL at one point aaron's like, "eleanor, go help your mother please" because he literally does almost trip over her 😭💞💞

and sadly they need to wait just a bit longer, aaron and yourself also tag team the lights - making sure they're evenly spaced also, and that they work, and then finally the fun jack and ellie have been waiting on finally begins 🥰

to keep the chaos at bay, you remain seated on the carpet, taking the ornaments out of their packaging yourself and giving one to jack, one to ellie. that way they're not fighting over turns, and if they have a special ornament that's theirs, or really want to put on the tree, it's just so much easier 😭 aaron helps them (ellie) find a good spot to put it, or helps them reach if they want one closer to the top, he'll pick them up 🥹<333

and the tree just comes out sooo perfect 🥹🥹🥹 and of course, the only right thing to do next is put on a christmas movie. since it's getting late, you decide to save the playroom tree for tomorrow. everyone gets into their pajamas, hot chocolate and popcorn is made, and you all cozy up on the couch and put on jack's choice of the night, elf 🥰🥰🥰 hehe this is also ellie's first time really watching the movie and understanding what's going on, and she finds it hysterical. the part with the raccoon?? when buddy gets hit by the taxi?? she's giggling wildly, and it just carries on throughout the whole movie. LMAO aaron is beside himself, he thinks her reaction is hilarious 😭😭 but he also has to remind her to not laugh so hard when her mouth is full of popcorn, he gets soo nervous she'll make herself choke 😭

and once the movie's over, and the kiddos are in bed, you and aaron get comfy on the couch again, and take the tree in 🥹<333 it's especially beautiful with the snow falling in the window behind it too. but ugh 💞💕💞 you're lying on top of aaron, head on his chest, he's rubbing your back gently and periodically giving you kisses atop your head 🥹🥰💞💕 you couldn't be happier 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
