For the 4gb patch you have to click on the folder. Open the 4gb folder and then it will an app of some sort, I forgot the name, but if you double click it it will launch and then it will ask you to select an exe file. You go to the bin-ship dao folder in your documents and then there you will see an exe file called dao origins or dragon age origins. You click on it and then tick the box below the thingy that asks you to let your game use more than 2gbs and then press the confirm button and it should work I think.
