The only other prominent Shroud family member mentioned + we have not met is Aidne. She is Idia’s father’s mother and the previous director of Styx, as she passed away some time ago. That means there wouldn’t be anyone new from the Shroud family that we could meet…

BUT

What about the Jupiter family 👀 We coild meet them and get the lowdown on the d r a m a…

Because thinking about it, there seems to be tension between the main family and the Shrouds, who are considered a “branch family” and tried to rebel long ago to claim power from the Jupiters. That makes me think that the other Olympians are branch families as well (making ~12 in total)??? Their gatherings might be stressful… Squabbles to curry favor and gather power for themselves, all that. I wanna see Idia anxious about those dinners, all his odd relatives, how he gets along (or doesn’t get along) with a twisted!Zeus. I’m biased for this kind of stuff because I love the Fey family drama in Ace Attorney—

I NEED to know how the rest of the family sees Ortho. My initial impression was that Shroud Mama and Papa would reject him, but they happily accept Ortho as one of their own (which is an inversion of how Hades thought the dead he watched over were ���dumb and uncouth”). What about their extended family then? Are they also accepting? Or do they just see Ortho as a piece of technology or another interesting test subject???? Or worse, an abomination 😭

I was just considering it from the angle of how Zeus handled the punishment in "Thunderbringer" and how Athena goes against her dad in "God Games", if that makes sense to you. So guys, the wisdom saga dropped as many of you know. And I love it 300/10 do recommend but I just remembered while listening to God Games that I have Leona casted as Athena and Malleus casted as Zeus. So in the beginning of God Games, you have this guy going “Father, God King! Rarely do I ask for favors! Now, I'm knocking on your door!”

And saying all that to this guy who doesn’t even remotely look like him. And let’s be real, Leona would probably rather claw his eyes out.

Not to mention that I have Riddle Rosehearts as Ares so imagine hearing Ares introduction, imagining someone built like a brick like maybe Jack, but instead, you have this pipsqueak in heels that will fly off the handle at a moments notice.

All this to say is that I’m loving my little project, the mental imagery is fantastic and I can’t wait to continue with the next polls (which may or not include a couple goddesses.)

Tbh, if twst were to have any religion, I think it would be Greek mythology because canonically Hades, a Greek god, existed as well as King Triton, who is the son of Poseidon.

It's also just fun to think about since you could try to distribute which gods would be popular where. Zeus could be a popular one in Briar Vally because of the whole lightning thing (though I know a lot people don't like Zeus, lol)

Ok Ok since you listen to Epic the Musical hear me out-

What if Epic is a thing in Yuu's world? Like she's a huge fan and decided for a movie night she first introduces all the boys to it and eventually shows it to everyone at the House of Mouse,

There will be gasps, There will be tears shed, etc.

Everyone in the Hercules cast especially will be intrigued by seeing their own selves in a different light. But once they get to the thunder saga (and also gods games), Zeus is sweating bullets meanwhile hades is laughing his butt off from his brother's face,

But at the same time poor Hercules is like "....Dad???" as Meg and Yuu comfort him.

...also for the Vengeance saga everyone (NRC and HoM) especially the couples, Will def cheer after Odysseus says next to my wife.

Okay so first of all, if you want to read a fic where NRC reacts to Epic I highly recommend this because it is truly top tier:

I mean, for the past month I was thinking of a twst reacts to Epic fic (where Yuu acted in EPIC back in her world and the school/RSA reacted to it through some type of magic - it was kind of set in this universe where Yuu was a theatre actress before entering twst. I mentioned once that I had a theatre!Yuu that is friends with RSA and once played Christine Daaé back home. This is that AU) and then I just stumbled across this two days ago and my mind was literally blown! The saying that that there are no original experiences is really true!

Basically Yuu (who's female in this fic) is doing some extra credit work so she asks her friends to act in one of her favourite musicals and NRC reacts to this. Ace plays Ody and Deuce is Telemachus and Yuu plays practically every female character (I'm not going to spoil who plays the other characters). Also this has Aceyuu which is practically my OTP.

I'm also a huge fan of the Disney Princess React series where the Disney Princess, Princes and practically all the good characters from before their movies react to their future so I have been thinking of a Disney characters + Epic cast reacts to Epic fic.

Okay so according to Google, Hercules comes before the Odyssey so none of the Hercules cast would know anything about the Trojan War or Odysseus which would make this even cooler!

Hades: And you guys thought I was bad? Just look at my younger brothers!

I've never watched the Hercules tv show except for that one crossover it did with Aladdin so I don't really know how the gods/goddesses are portrayed but I do know that the movie took a lot of ... creative liberty to say the least.

But can you imagine the cast of The Little Mermaid/Octavinelle reacting to Suffering/Different Beasts where the sirens come to kill the crew only to get slaughtered. Also, I have a feeling that Triton would be leaving his trident back home in the palace for the next few weeks.

But imagine every sailors' (e.g. Eric, the pirates, etc) reaction to Ruthlessness and the absolute carnage that follows. They'd be gripping onto the tables with white knuckles.

Hades would be having the time of his life (except for the parts where Yuu cheers for the other gods: read Hermes/Athena), especially during the Underworld saga. Like everyone would be looking at river styx in horror and he'd just be like 'ah home :)'. I bet he'd enjoy God Games as well. He'd definitely be munching on popcorn during Ody's and Athena's argument in My Goodbye.

The muses would be watching everything like WRITE THAT DOWN!

I don't think Hercules wants to talk to anyone at this moment :/

some random guesses: is Silver Diomedes? I thought he might be Achilles at first because of “blessing in infancy” common trait but i remembered Achilles was too young. THEN recalled that Diomedes was also favored by Athena

My hypothetical money is on Sebek or Crowley for Zeus lmao i tried to come up with guesses for God Games but there were too many permutations and combinations 😵‍💫

Riddle — Son of Athena; He's very wise and strategic, nevermind the fact that his actual mom (Mrs. Rosehearts) is a shitty human being, I'd like to think that Athena is actually Riddle's mom and Mrs. Rosehearts didnt want it to be known her husband had a child from another woman and just pretended Riddle is hers biologically

Trey — Son of Hestia; Born from the goddess of Hearth and Home... I think it suits Trey! He is like the homey type of guy, usually referred to as the parent of the group! Hestia is also associated with food preparation and baking!

Cater — Son of Hermes; Luke Castellan. Im using him as a comparison to who I imagine Cater to be but less wanting to seek vengeance, just someone who is tired of the gods' shit

Ace — Son of Hermes; He is on the more playful side of Hermes Kids, the thievery, the mischief, very on brand of a Hermes kid!

Deuce — Son of Hephaestus; He's good with his hands, very helpful in creating and he's very skilled with Blastcycles and as known, Hephaestus and all his children have an inherent ugliness (not really actually ugly) where they have features that are usually not society deems as attractive, Deuce gives off that vibe that he doesnt look attractive by societal standards but he looks adorable anyway

Leona — Son of Zeus, he just gives off that vibe, idk why

Ruggie — Son of Demeter

Jack — Son of Ares, Woman Respecter and great fighter

Im more on vibing here, so I dont have much thought on them

None of them are getting Poseidon, thats just lazy

Azul — Son of Hermes; I know, it sounds weird but here me out! Hermes is a versatile god... He is also the god of traders, business, and goodluck! It fits Azul on brand with his style!

Jade and Floyd — Sons of Dionysus; Again, here me out- Dionysus is like a god of duality, he is both kind and cruel... Dionysus is the god of festivity, similar to how Floyd is a guy who enjoys the festive nature or even the interesting chaos of people, he is also the god of insanity... The Leech twins are often described as crazy, scary, insane, etc. its due to their erratic nature, they're predators and thus I think the natural instinct of insanity would fit with them. They can be kind of cruel, they can be fun but border on insanity, or they can be eerily calm.

Mk whenever i see epic x twst stuff i always see azul as Poseidon which is slay. I see it i can agree with it i like it i think in general its the correct choice, he is one of the big three (malleus idia azul. I think you can debatably put leona in here aswell but i wont cus personally for reasons) and malleus is obviously zeus in most cases and if hades was here idia would obvi be him but since he isnt i can see him as the prophet or some shit.

I see the idea of poseidon but personally ESPECIALLY with how most epicxtwst version include jamil as Odysseus (from what ive seen, ive only seen 1 where it wasnt him so far) i think he could very well be calypso

I think the “i was cast away when i was young. Alone for 100 years i had no one here but the sky and sun” is very similar to his backstory of basicly being the cast out of his school just instead of bullying they threw him on a raft and sent him away.

I think all the clingyness and almost childlike ways calypso acts is kinda similar to how azul is when his shit is fucked. Like unlike her he keeps it together but that tantrum is not demure behavior azul keep your chin up. I think while azul isnt actually childish calypso kinda can represent how he never learned to deal with his traumas and he never grew from them just piled ontop of it all these “improvements.”

Now the reason i specifically say i think he could be a good calypso for jamil!ody is because LOOK AT HIM

THIS GUY IS SO DESPERATE IT MAKES ME GAG!! HE WANTS HIM SO BAD. He is like this to few other people(riddle, idia) but NONE of them are like how he is with jamil. I think this is because he relates himself to jamil and in a way is attached (i saw a great analysis on this i wish i saved it to put the link in). He saw this man and went “he just like me frfr” and jamil went “im not your man.” I think azul is perfect for the role if jamil is ody cus of just how attatched in a way he is to jamil, he cares for jade and floyd obviously but this is a diffrent type of care that i feel they show at every chance they are in the same room.

So yeah tldr azul is jamils calypso. Who is everyone else? Idk; jade is the sirens and floyd is scylla i only pay attention to the characters im hyperfixated on-. Who is posiedon is azul is calypso? Idk give it to idia if someone else fits the prophet more, he would be a hater like that didnt he dox someone?
