happy closing day @twostrangersmusical ! i know how much heart and soul must go into every performance and so i’m sure today is very bittersweet for the cast and crew. congratulations to @dujonnagift and @samtutty on completing their run! and ofc the brilliant understudies @tillylabelle and @imjoekelly i saw joe’s first show and he was incredible!! i can’t wait to see what he will do next :) and i’m sure whatever the entire cast go on to do next will be wonderful too!
i hope everyone has a brilliant last performance and i’m very grateful i got to see it! i’m sad it was only once but still, i had such a fun time. and it was the first musical i saw that i didn’t know the soundtrack of before already seeing it haha!

See, I’m already talking the talk…
A little something inspired by the wonderful Two Strangers musical - I loved this show and New York is now one of my favourite songs to listen to on repeat! 🫶

I feel like I’ve done you all a national disservice by not screaming about Two Strangers Carry A Cake Across New York as soon as I got home from seeing it. I went in not knowing what to expect at all, but I mostly want to tell you all that it was SO FUNNY! The entire theatre was in stitches, I can’t recommend it enough. Funny, serious, cool set, Sam and Dujonna were amazing, and £10 tickets for under 26.
(Note that it’s at the Kiln Theatre, not in the west end, and to be safe around the Kilburn area at night 😊)
**(it’s now transferred to the West End!)

Saw two strangers (carry a cake across New York) tonight and it was so good! Ngl didn't think it'd be my thing as I'm not massive on romcoms, but it was amazing! Very funny, the songs were awesome and catchy, and both Sam Tutty and Dujonna Gift were incredible! Especially Dujonna, I've seen Sam before in Deh but never heard of her before, and omg I'm in love with her voice! And despite it being a two person show it was done in a super clever way that makes you feel like there's a full cast.
I could write a whole separate paragraph on the set, but I'll just leave it with its simplistic in appearance yet super clever! Really hope it gets a transfer either to the west end or broadway, and a cast recording because its such a great show!

Two Strangers (carry a cake across New York) now running in London, is a precious little thing. It's funny, bittersweet, and very relatable. It nicely handles a comedy and drama of Gen Z. And the music is lovely. There's something good apart from Les Mis and Hadestown to watch if you are in London.
