electric six- camp as fuck, the campest band, so fucking fun with real sick tunes. dick valentine frontman of ever. great videos. rock and roll and sexy sex and songs that make you feel what it must be like to be a handsome penis probably. fire is my fave album it's just full of wall to wall bangers.

bayside- i don't nearly see enough bayside appreciation as i thought i would on here, but bayside is just oh my god they're the most "cooler older brother" emo band out there they make me feel like i need to fucking punch drywall and get drunk off shitty beer in a garage and start yellin and they legit did not have to go that hard on the video for devotion and desire, i think about those hot nuns on the daily. my personal fave albums are bayside, acoustic, the walking wounded, and sirens and condolences.

bright eyes- man conor really just does it for me. always has always will. fave albums are lifted and fevers and mirrors.

Last song: Coeur de la Mer by the German band dArtagnan. I have a very... eclectic taste in music. That section of my alphabetical playlist also contains Clean (Taylor's Version) by Taylor Swift, Collide by Ed Sheeran, Colors of the Wind by Vanessa Williams, and Come With Me Now by The Kongos.

Fave color: Blue, any shade. Purple is also nice.

Last book: A collection of Gothic Tales by Arthur Conan Doyle. I particularly liked "The Captain of the Polestar", and "The Nightmare Room". "The Terror of Blue John Gap" was the scariest, but then I have a low resistance against monster stories.

Last movie: Little Lord Fauntleroy, with Auntie on Boxing Day. Not really the kind of movie I usually watch, but Auntie loves sappy and I love Auntie.

Last show: Murdoch Mysteries earlier today, and Die Rosenheim-Cops is playing in the background as I'm typing this. I really like crime fiction, though I prefer low stakes and not too much drama.

Sweet/spicy/savory: Definitely sweet, if I have to pick one. Sweet and spicy is a great combo though (I put sweet chili sauce on a lot of food).

Relationship status: Never been in one, not actively looking. If I meet someone that's cool, but if not that's also cool. I'm very happy single.

Current Obsession: The new long play I'm preparing for The Sims 4. I'm starting from scratch with this one, 1 Sim, small house, but I have big plans.

Looking forward to: Visiting the local historical museum, which I haven't done since they relocated after merging with another local museum. It's been on my list for ages, but I'm finally going to do it this week or next. Also, buying my first pair of noise cancelling headphones. I've finally settled on the ones I want, done the neccessary research, now I just have to go into the shop and actually buy them. Too tired to do that today though. XD

nightly ptv posting in random places until i see them live (123 days left!!) - not in the greatest place rn as this cold covid continues to fuck with me both physically and mentally so im gonna get really sappy and talk about how significant each album is to me cause i could write a whole essay on this. under cut cause this is gonna be long

collide with the sky was the album that got me into this band. one of my irl friends was reposting tiktoks about them, i heard the hell above transition and instantly ran to them for recommendations cause i was HOOKED. that night i think i listened to them for around 3 and a half hours straight, i think i went through the entirety of collide, selfish machines and afftd (im not sure if i finished afftd or if i looked at misadventures yet) and the only thing that stopped me from continuing the binge was a massive headache that came over me. hold on till may inspired two of my ocs as i imagined them taking the roles of both people in the song, their personalities and how that'd fit into an existing universe we (me and my friends) had. they're still the two ocs i think about the most since i connect them with ptv very often and - yknow, hyperfixation. fun fact: i timed the "im sorry but ive made up my mind" in bulls in the bronx to happen when it hit midnight on my birthday. no clue why, just thought it was cool ig

the jaws of life was the first album i owned physically, accidentally managing to acquire both the cd and the vinyl on my birthday (cd was spotted in hmv, vinyl was my grandma's gift. there's a certain cashier at that hmv that i think happened to be working that day who shares my music taste, they recommended my dad listen to them since he said he got the cd for me lmaoo) the songs on that album were the first ones my parents heard, as my dad's car has a cd player so i popped it in on the way back home. much later on due to some shenanigans involving a shitbox car thats best music source was cds and oh look ptv is the one band my mum didn't mind listening to and i had 2 of their cds (i'll talk about that later), it ended up becoming her favourite album of theirs so we'd very often listen to it on journeys even when she got her car back as it was one of the few things we shared taste wise after i took a dive bomb into rock/metal, so while its my least favourite in terms of songs as im writing this (i don't dislike them!! some of my faves are on there!!), im incredibly sentimental towards it regardless.

misadventures was the second album i owned physically, finding the cd buried in a local record shop (it has the acoustic bonuses on it!!), and i think i can sorta call it my favourite album of all time. almost every single song in that album has been put on loop at least once (i mean that very literally. every single one. except sambuka? idk, just wasn't in my head as much...) it was also involved in the shitbox car shenanigans which might have influenced my love for it too. the divine zero in particular had (and still has tbh) a strong chokehold on me, being a little too relatable for me as i was going through a very dark patch in life that im not sure is entirely over yet actually, though it at least feels like it might be. i still can't listen to that song only one time whenever it comes on, i have to replay it at least once. it was my top song on spotify and i barely even fucking use spotify. can you tell im normal about the divine zero?

tl;dr - ptv are cool. im normal about them. thumbs up emoji.

a flair for the dramatic and selfish machines, while not having a big long story behind them, have been incredibly important to me during The Cold Covid as their songs are the main ones im obsessed with currently. some noteworthy songs off them are she sings in the morning/yeah boy and doll face (ok this one's kinda silly: i found out people found the first song through osu which i hadn't played in ages and these two was some of the first plays i got in a very long time so i currently hold them very close. fun fact: i like rhythm games!), wonderless/chemical kids and mechanical brides (INCREDIBLY calming to me, go tos when i need to lower my energy levels), million dollar houses (very closely connected to one of the two hold on till may connected ocs) and fast times at clairemont high (ok it's just a banger to me. the high notes make me fucking feral and i listened to the song 10 times in a row once. oops)

The Pierce the Veil concert was absolutely AMAZING! I was worried from posts that PTV concerts usually lack any concert etiquette, but it was great for the most part! Might be due to the venue? We went to the one in Chesterfield, MO at The Factory. Super badass place.

The pre-show bands were PERFECT. Just the names alone like????? The first was Destroy Boys, lead singer killed it. That band is def my fave of the three!!! Second band was Dayseeker! Kind of like Starset, but less spacey and more metal! And the third was L.S Dunes, unfortunately the lead singer to that was less enthusiastic and seemed uncaring to the crowd, but the songs were pretty good! I'll definitely check out more of Destroy Boys and Dayseeker on Spotify. ^w^

The actual performances were BANGER. Despite being the Jaws of Life tour, they played all the classics you can expect: King for a Day, Circles, Hell Above, etc. Vic on stage was badass and sexy in how he performed! Lots of zoomies inducing guitar riffing jumps and was very interactive with the crowd! Pretty close to being on-par with how perfect of a performer Hayley Williams is, and the setup was EPIC. They had glow in the dark guitars and it was just overall amazing. They also did a similar thing that Paramore does, where they brought up a fan on stage, and she was honored with Vic's red guitar! Absolutely insaaaaane, I'd kill for that! I suppose that's the one drawback to being a balcony seat! xD

They also performed acoustic songs, with the addition of the lead singer of Destroy Boys, their voices together were heavenly. Aaaaaaa. This concert to me will be remembered forever, it was just THAT GOOD. There was tons of crowd surfing too! xP

I recorded most of it, so expect concert vids (as well as the Paramore ones) posted! For merch, I got the tote bag, tour poster, tour shirt, as well as the two arguably best albums, Collide and Misadventures!

Also made Kandi bracelets with my special one and look how cool my PTV one is! The classic green and purple colors to match my band shirt. >w< I'll show the tour poster when I get home from the trip, but for now it stays in. :3

10/10 experience.

often has a former "first class" compartment that got downgraded, aka comfy seating

Cons:

smoll toilets and very few of them

only 4 power plugs per wagon

in no fucking way accessible for anyone who cannot climb stairs

No space for luggage

The "tramtrein"

Pros:

most recent of trains, very neat

with screens that show times and stops, very fancy indeed

Proper big toilets, fit for wheelchair users

no indoor doors whatsoever, been replaced by decent heating/cooling

Built-in cupboards for wheelchair ramps per door

smoll first class compartments that aren't even separated from the plebs (HA!!!)

There are some power plugs to be found at each end of the wagon

has ominous automatic stop announcements (tram behaviour)

Cons:

doors that close at random and make you think you missed your train (you have to push the little green ring to open them again: tram behaviour)

not anywhere near enough bin space

little bitch ass "tables" that can't even hold a book

The "botstrein"

Pros:

Has a cute rubber band for when it collides :)))

Comfy seats, tables somewhat exist in the 4-seats areas (good enough for an impromptu 2-person LAN-game)(yes we did that. several times.)

door area spaces available for when overcrowded

has them little foot supports

cons:

too many 4-seats that usually get occupied by the (1) person traveller

No tables in the 2-seats

tiny toilets (again) (this is gonna be a recurring thing) with the loud af speakers right in your ear when you're peeing. It's a riding jump scare!!

only one power plug per wagon (oh yeah good luck finding it if you don't already know)(hint: it's in the ceiling)

the "classic" I grew up with that got a makeover so <3

can open them windows up real nice! can even stick your arm out in a tunnel if you'd like losing it :))

Cons:

like no designated number of people per seat marker kinda problem? It's just a line of sofa that can fit two to six people depending on how busy it is (not sure if this is pro or con tbh)

no automatic doors so people will just enter your wagon and leave the door open and you will have to get up and close it yourself if you wanna save the heat and/or shut out the noise

yeah not much heating and no cooling (a killing machine in global warming summers)

No power plugs, none

giving me flashbacks to engine problems they used to have a lot and leaving me stranded in fucking schellebelle

“Van! Turn your fucking music down I’m tryin to do some work in here!” I yelled over the top of his shit ‘the streets’ album. I had one of my final papers to hand in soon and I was stessed to say the least. Bondy had said Van could crash at ours for a coupla weeks for some interviews they had and I was fuming. Van had always, as soon as Johnny joined his band, made it his life’s mission to ruin mine. I couldn’t stand him and more than a week with him meant alot of mental breakdowns and my temper to shoot through the roof.

“Chill, love” He said, whilst rolling his eyes and turned it down by a notch “Thought this was ya fave track?” The smirk on his face with his sarcasm made me want to slap it right off, but for Bondy’s sake I sighed deeply and went back to writing.

I was always quite content on my own, never really having a big group of friends. It was always me, Becks, Bondy and Lou. Then things changed, I went to uni with Becks, Lou travelled the world and Johnny joined Catfish. The start of the end of my world! 

I finally got into the zone again and submitted the last of all my assignments, meaning the end of Uni! Bondy had decided we should go out at the end of the week and I was buzzing for it. Until then I had to cope with being stuck in a flat with Van.

I shuffled into the kitchen feeling a little restless and bored to see all the lids over playing fifa. I made my way over to the end of the sofa where Bondy was sat with his controller and sat on the side. He was playing against Larry and majorly loosing.

“aaawww Bonds, look give it ere” I said whilst he gave up handing me the controller. I was a boss at Fifa, always playing against my younger brother when he came over.

“Nah, that’s not fair!” Larry winged, knowing my skills. But Van being the cocky bastard he was, stood up saying he’d challenge me anyday.

“Go on then” I egged him on wanting to see his face when he inevatably lost. He swanned over to the controller Larry held out to him.

The game started strong on my side and it was clear I was winning. By the look on Vans face he was suprised until he started to get back on it. I was three, two to me but he’d just scored making me a little tense by our sudden evens. I grit my teeth until the game ended and we drew. That was even worse than losing I thought to myself. The look on his face was not what I had anticipated and I was to say the least a little pissed off. I didn’t know why but I always got that little bit more riled up him. He did something to make me tick and blood boil.

“Sorry y/n, maybe next time” he beamed clearly pleased with himself knowing he’d got the better of me.

It was Friday finally and me and Becks were getting ready in our finery. I’d decided to go with a simple black number with a pair of heels to match. Becks had always been prettier than me and her long blond flowing hair made people stare at her through the streets. She wore a short red dress with a corset type lace back, extravigant to match her personality.

It didn’t take long for me to get ready with minimal make up so we all headed off to town. The clubs were raging and I made my way to the bar asking for shots. Unfortunately Van got there before me and it wasn’t long before we were teasting each other with our alcahol tolerance. Shot by shot we had pretty much gone through every spirit you could imagine, although throughout not one of us backed down. Instead we just stared harder into each others eyes. I think it must’ve been the alcahol but I was finding things in Vans eyes I’d never seen before. The pool of blue, with hint of green and brown swirled into it transfixed me and for a moment I spaced out until he nudged me saying he won and I was weak. 

There he went again, making me hate him with his arrogance and know it all demeanor. I stumbled to the dance floor finding Benji and Becks dancing togethr. I liked them two and always thought they’d be good together. Bondy found me soon after asking if I wanted a smoke, I accepted his proposal and he led me outside arms linked around my body.

“I saw you with, Van earlier, you got the hots for him” he chuckled to himself trying to tease me knowing full well it would work.

“Ew!” I pulled away from him, screwing my face up in discust at the thought of that cocky boy. “Bonds what the hell?”

“Don’t think I didn’t see your little stare, I’ve seen that look from both of ya before and come on you’ve been flirting with him for years like”

“Bonds, let’s get this straight! I detest Van and will for the rest of my life, I’d rather die than talk to him for more than ten minutes!” I slurred mixing some of the words up on the way.

“y/n, You were drinking with him at the bar for over an hour and I bet ya my whole life savings your just doin what ya always do to lads.” He stated plainly, slightly startling me as if he were pointing out the obvious. He was right though, I’d always had tendencies to push people away but my drunk mide didn’t register that.

“Nah, Bonds your waaaay wrong” I sighed whilst letting out a huff of smoke. as I did Van came wondering out with some girl wrapped round him like some kind of pet. I physically wretched from the sight or maybe it was the alcahol but soon after I felt my blood begin to boil and rushed into the club again making it my mission to find someone.

It didn’t take too long as it was late and most guys were drunk an gagging for it. The guy I’d found looked like an idiot, someone I’d never go for and would probably leave once he got what he wnated. Perfect.

I grabbed him by the neck and pulled him into a messy kiss, dragging him outside. I never was the type to really do this but somehow I was feeling different. I saw Becks give me a funny look but I carried on. It wasn’t long until we were outside ,where Van and his ‘pet’ once were, and random kissing guy with too much tongue started to go for more. 

Suddenly I didn’t really want to do this and maybe this was all because of Van. I tried to resist him and tell him to sstop but he wasn’t, forcefully he jammed his knee between my thighs and ground me into the wall. I tride to scream out but nothing was to be heard. I kind of blanked out for a second until I felt the man being pulled away from me and I heard shouting.

I tried to tune in quickly realising that the random guy was being pushed to the ground and punched by none other than Van. The guy ran off as Van came too check if I was ok. I was so confused, if he hated me so much why do something like that for me?

“Shit y/n, are you ok? Did he hurt you?” Van fussed over me and checked for any sign of damage to my body. Again in my drunk state of mind I got lost inhis eyes, Drowning in the deep pools of blue. I clearly worried him not answering and he brushed his thumb down my cheek.

He decided he’d take me home slinging my arm round his shoulder as he held my weight. I suddenly felt a feeling of dissapointment in him and myself. Maybe Bondy ws right, maybe I did like him, maybe he liked me. Feelings were never my thing and as I sorted through everything about van in my head I subconsciously made a pro con list. I didn’t quite know why, since I met him I only felt pure hatrid towards him and the feeling was always mutual. It was almost a safety blanket to hae each other. But as soon as I saw him with another girl that blanket got stollen away from me, and I wanted it back.

“Van...” I started

“y/n....”

“where’d that girl go?”

“Oh .....Umm she left.” He hesitated slightly and I wondered why. The thinking made me stop and I became confused. “Come on idiot, you’ll freeze to death if you stand there all night” He mocked trying to get back to our old habits.

“Yeah ok...” I hung my arm round his shoulder again and he put his jacket round me. 

Once we got to the door of the apatement I couldn’t help but feel different. I knew I was drunk but something had changed and I couldn’t work out what. I stumbled to my room as Van dissapeared into Lous old one. I changed into some comfier clothes and tried to get dome sleep but it was useless. The thoughts in my mind killing me. I was usually so stubborn and I knew what I wanted but tonigt I didn’t and it scared me.

I got up not really knowing what I was doing and whent to my door to find someone was already there, thinking the same as me. And no sooner did I open that door was I met with a pair of lips colliding with mine. For a moment I forgot who I was and kissed back. It felt natural as his tongue rolled against mine. But suddenly reality hit and I pulled away confused, shocked and every other emotion.

He smiled back at me shyly and I realised, I was an idiot. I leant back into his lips feeling confused but safe at the same time. Nothing as I knew it would be the same and I’d probably owe Bondy alot of money.

dream job: when I was a child, I wanted to become a designer for clothes… now I don’t really have aspirations :’’) what does one even become when studying language

favorite food: I’m always a sucker for Döner! But recently I’ve gone out of my way to find restaurants with any type of Asian style dumplings like dim sum, gyouza or wan tan lol

play any instruments: back in first and second grade I was forced to learn to play the recorder, but I sure as hell can’t play that anymore :’) I wish I could play the piano

language you speak: I only speak German and English fluently, but I’ve been learning Japanese autodidactically for quite some time, and I have recently started learning Korean at uni. I’ve also learned Spanish for two years at high school and have a B1 certificate, however next to that assessment being way too high just to give everyone the level required for university, I have already forgotten just about everything… I also want to get into a course for German sign language at my uni, but it always collides with other courses ahHHH

random fact: I like writing short to-do lists and crossing everything out once I’m done
