Can’t wait for this anime to drop and more people to start screaming about this ship. Dude just canonically admitted he loves Isagi and he’s fucking serious about it. In the original Japanese he uses the word 愛してる (aishiteru), a word so strong that, outside of fiction, it’s almost exclusively reserved for couples on their wedding days and people on their deathbeds. Even if he’s only said it in his head so far, this shit is literally canon.

A couple of weeks ago the boys and I spent some time at a local museum where there is currently a WW1 exhibition. They really enjoyed watching film, dressing up and looking through a trunk of relevant books. One of these books, 'Two Monsters' by David McKee, was about the conflict that can result when we are unable to see the perspective of others. The two monsters lived on opposite sides of a mountain, held different views of the world according to what they could see, and argued about them through a hole in the mountain. Eventually they flung rocks at one another over the mountain which wore the mountain down until it was gone and they could see the other monster's perspective! Joseph was inspired to re enact this story by the landscape in a wood near us the other day when we were out for a walk!

Babysitting a 3 year old and a 1 year old is hard work! The baby was grouchy and tired, and he screamed in my ear for a while, but he eventually fell asleep; and the older one is precious. He's asleep against my leg now. We went for a walk earlier. Jacob (who's 3) rode his bike, while I pushed Jaden in his stroller, and everyone was very content and happy. So, all in all, it wasn't bad. They're cute kids; it was pretty okay. And I'm making money so...
