you click save and stretched your arms, you saw your best friend, a writer like you lying on your bed. he's a one lazy author, the one who updates one chapter a month, it's would have been good if he have someone to be an inspiration.

"inspiration? i think it's the book i read these days, it's really well written." mingyu an actor and idol, who's completely smitten by an author he never met before.

he just adore your book so much, how good you put your thoughts in words, and how it was really well written. he's a fan, his own fans noticed it too of how often he reads your books and talk about it.

you're a famous author anyways, so his fans really don't give it some meaning behind, they're a fan as well. the fans actually wants to meet you in a book signing.

"are you sure you'll start your book signing this saturday?" jeonghan asked, a fellow author like you.

you're the opposites, you're an active writer, posting updates every week or every two weeks while he posts every two months or three. he's a lazy author but his pieces, such as mystery and thriller, are really brain tester.

he's good at making twists and laughs maniacally every time his reader loses their mind. "you're not gonna run away from it, aren't you?" jeonghan laughs, pointing at you with suspicion in his eyes.

"i wanna run away." you said, "i'm nervous, what if they thought i am pretty but i'm actually not?! the disappointment, it's pressuring me!"

"hehe."

"don't hehe me, you maniac!" you threw your scratch paper at him as he rolls on your bed with pillows in his arms. "okay, okay. i'll give you pro tips, don't ever give your number to your fans whoever they might be. they won't stop texting or calling you." jeonghan said nodding his head with his eyes close, as if he's making a good point and tip.

"oh? that's probably based on experience."

"it's that fanboy who loves pizza who posted my number on his twitter account, then my fans called me until i changed my number." jeonghan defended himself, he felt betrayed trusting that innocent looking infp boy who loves pizza.

"it was recommended by my co-actor, wonwoo. he loves reading even when we're in the set while doing make-up or free time. he read books everywhere." mingyu laughs, looking at the comments.

"they have book signing this week?!" mingyu asked immediately snatching his phone to search up your pen name. his eyes widened looking at the infos.

"woah, is he that busy to miss the news of his favourite author?"

"i hope the author's a guy!"

"i'm pretty sure the author is a girl, amazing fictional men are often written by woman."

he stood up and walked out of the frame to celebrate behind the scene, his fans already knew what he's doing though, they expected it from him. "i'm back, ehem i don't know if i could attend it tho i have a really tight schedule."

"what do you mean you have tight schedule when you lie on my bed everyday?!" you exclaimed at jeonghan, which he just laughs about. he doesn't want to come with you in your book signing.

"think about it, they've seen me before, it would be a scandal if they saw us together the next time. you don't know how the people thinks," jeonghan said.

"so you'll abandon me alone??..." your voice fading away, putting away the books on your table as he follows you explaining his side.

"hehe." you giggled, walking beside jeonghan, you're both on your way to the event area. he still come along with you, he felt guilty since it's your first time holding a book signing event and you're his bestfriend.

"don't giggle, it's not funny," he scoffs under his mask, he's disguised like a staff of the event despite his disguise though, some recognized him.

"i look good don't i?" mingyu asked his manager who sighed tiredly at him, "you do know your schedule is still packed yet you slip your so-called 'important event' into your sched?"

"i do know" mingyu smiled confidently.

you ready your smile asking your bestfriend if it looks good yet he laughs at you, "it's alright, if they don't like it then frown at them" he jokes while fixing his cap.

"hmm, what was that? there's a lot of people there, look" jeonghan pointed at the black car with girls surrounding it.

"oh come on, don't tell me there's a famous person there, they'll steal my readers!" you gasp, looking disappointed already.

jeonghan assured you that it'll not happen pushing you inside the event hall before the fans gets in, you fix yourself after a few minutes you see a lot of people holding a book written by you walking inside.

it's starting.

after your name is called, you walk into the stage hearing loud cheers and clap as well as shock reactions from the crowd, your thoughts is just about running away, did they thought you're a guy and is disappointed that you're not? do they thought you're ugly?

you look around the crowd seeing a tall guy holding his phone with a written phrase "you look pretty, smile"

you immediately smiled and nod, some of the audience looks at where you nodded, still cheering at you. there's quick interview as a introduction and you think you did good it seems going well.

it's finally time to sign the books, a teenager still wearing a uniform stand in front of you holding out two of your books, "i want to buy more of your books but my allowance only allows me to buy two. i really like your works,"

her cheeks are red as she smiles at you, you smiled, "i'll upload soft copies so you can read it without spending money," you said signing the books.

you bid goodbye to her as the people keeps moving forward, they're a lot to be honest. you always look around to see if your friend is still there, of course he is. but he's chilling with his phone at the side.

finally it's the tall guy earlier. "hello—oh it's my debut book" your eyes lit up. "the first story i wrote." you laughed. "you're a good writer, i admire you" he said his voice is quite attractive and familiar.

"your name?" you smiled after writing your signature. "kim mingyu" he answered. you tilted your head and write it down despite thinking about the actor, someone you know named like it.

"..."

"i expected you would be a girl but i'm still shock and starstruck." he laughs nervously, "you sound like someone i heard before."

"your boyfriend?"

"yea—huh?" her eyes widened, how can you not noticed, are your eyes playing tricks. no way your actor boyfriend will come here risking his career and time. "w-what are you doing here?" you whispered.

"i'm a fan," he said.

after that exchange, you know a lot of people recognized him, he left after taking an autograph from you against his will he needed to leave immediately.

"oh no—" he's posted in the social media attending your fansign, "oh— it's alright! they didn't mention that we might be dating, thank god!" you sighed in relief, but he's pouting like a kid.

you're facetiming him, but all he does is murmur and talk about how there's nothing wrong with being mistaken for a couple because they actually are.

"we can just tell them, they'll understand —"

"we already talked about this, mingyu. i can't just ruin your career. sure, there are still fans who'll support you, but some of them will hate you and make rumors about you that may cause your downfall."

"but—"

"you know i can't afford being the reason for your career's downfall."

"i'm not scared of downfall. i'm scared of losing my chances, i want to cherish every moment with you, every kiss, every place we go together. i want you to become comfortable being with me," his eyes looking into yours with sincerity. "can we?"

Okay!! Because I'm not a huge fan of the format of long twitter threads, and this whole thing got kinda long 😅 I figured it could be best to post these story idea ramblings to Tumblr! So lol, prepare for some ramblings sabout my Ghost and Soap AU that's post MW2 campaign where Simon leaves the army to raise his nephew after his fam are killed.

This is all based off the au from this fic I wrote 🙈 if you want more context, you can find some here!

I just have a lot of ideas for this au and wanted to share some that I'll probably never be able to write, but yeah. Lmk if you guys have any thoughts! 😊

I guess TW too for: mentioned child injury, mentioned murder, references to Ghost's past from the comics. There's nothing graphic tho!

Price swears to Simon, in that hospital room a few days after the attack on Simon's fam, where Jo is lying injured and unconscious, but stable, that he will track down Roba and his men to get justice. He makes it a vow.

Theres not much development on the case for years tho. Maybe, after it initially happened, there was a brief investigation into it, but they ran into a lot of issues getting jurisdiction to operate in Mexico so the case went dry.

So, Simon has to learn to live with the fact that the people who did this to his family, and who tortured him, are still alive out there somewhere. But his nephew is his first priority, and he's accepted that too. He's not going to carelessly risk his life so he can't be there to raise his orphaned nephew in the name of revenge.

I don't think Simon, at this stage of his life, would be a violent revenge seeker? Perhaps if he is pushed too far, but let's not go there yet hahhaha.

Also, he's with Soap too, who helps ground him and keep him level headed.

Anyways, years later, Price calls Simon up, telling him of their update on the case. Maybe Roba has been located, and they only have a few day window to act. 

Price shows him the layout of the compound. Simon recognizes it. It's where he was kept captive for months all those years ago. Price offers that, if he wants, there's a spot on the squad for him. His Intel could be valuable. And he's cleared it with a lot of the other high ups to bring Simon along, or just didn't give them a choice, lol. (I have no idea if this would actually be possible irl, to have an SAS soldier who left the ranks, rejoin for a covert mission, but bare with me. Price can make it happen in this AU 🤣)

Simon has been out of active service for 5/6 years at this point though. And Price is asking him if he wants back in for one final op. Joseph is now around 10 years old maybe. He and Soap have been in a steady relationship for 5, Soap still serving in the military.

Anyways, cue big moment of Ghost picking up his old skull mask again. One he hasn't worn in 6 years. Holding the fabric brings back a lot of old memories for him. It feels heavy in his hands. He had changed so much since when he was the man who wore this mask...

but he still had it in him. He knew he did, deep down.

But did he want to *go* there, was he ready? Was it appropriate?

Would he be letting down Joseph though, if he agreed to this op?

What would Soap's feelings on the matter be?

But ultimately, Ghost agrees to it. I think he would need to take some time to consider it though. Maybe talk it through with the bf, Soap. But I think Simon would come to the conclusion that the team would be safest with him on the squad because of his existing knowledge of the compound. And he'd maybe feel safer being there himself, there to try to help the others if they run into trouble fighting his demons.

He does tell Price he has one condition about the op though, is that nobody dies. And he doesn't plan on dying either. He has to live for Joseph, and for Soap, too.

Jo is maybe 9 or 10 at this point. When Simon and Soap go away, I don't think Simon would tell Jo the real nature of his mission. He wouldn't lie to him, but the truth is a lot for a 10 year old to take in right? Maybe he says the mission is going to be scary, but that he's going to do his best to make sure they all make it back okay.

Maybe Joseph stays with one of Soap's sisters.

Ghost feels terrible to do this to Jo but he has to stop Roba from doing this again.

And blabkabla stuff happens and Simon makes it back okay tho yayyyyy 🤣

hello there, this ask is the main reason i resurfaced for a few secs.

I am definitely alive and okay, sometimes I even update my twitter, I simply feel a disconnect with HnK and Tumblr after everything that happened. Also, now that I am a full time nerd with adult responsibilities, I have little free time to dedicate to this space, even if sometimes I miss this community and how we used to scream all together anytime a new chapter would drop.

Thank u for sticking by and enjoying my posts, carry on the cinnaphos legacy for me but do NOT lose sleep on these pebbles, take it from your internet grandma, take care of yourself. As for your question, I do not think Phos and Shinsha will ever end up together (except in the form of the seventh treasure, which I believe Shinsha ended up being, so yay?). Also, I hate to break it to you, but these rocks are no longer part of this plane of existence thanks to Phos praying everyone away and initiating 3rd impact. We can always dream tho, that's what fanfics are for.

Well tbh around 2015 or something I stopped following Supernatural and a bit ater that I only occasionally still checked in on what was going on with both Jensen and Misha. After the 15 x 18 finale, I was a bit more active again and followed at least some actors' news, as well as the whole "jivorce" thing, but mostly through people memeing and content accidentally making it on my Twitter timeline (I stopped using Tumblr, or just checked it really occasonally!).

I'd say that I now still check in on Jensen and Misha, at least when any big stuff happens, and I still consider myself a Cockles truther, at least in some sort of a poly way - it's interesting to see how the dynamics have changed throughout the years. It seems to me that in recent years J&D became much more vocal about their love for Misha - something that "warms the cockles of my heart" quite a lot.

I also have been updated more or less on the whole fiasco with D*niela and JIBcon, it sucks that it ended this way bc Rome was "their special thing" and it won't be the same anywhere else, but with the way that woman has been acting, it's probably for the best.

What else would you like to know dear anon?? :)) I got into a bunch of other fandoms in between as can be seen from my very occasional postings, but Cockles is definitely something I still kind of silently follow and have at least mostly fond memories of (the same can't be said about the show tho :p). But all in all, I made quite a few friends through that fandom, and I still keep in touch with a number of them, so that's th fondest memoriy I'll ever have in regards to SPN! :))

Last Book/Fic Abandoned: not really abandoned but sorta modified? the sydcarmy high school au i started in the summer was a good concept but i didnt really have a concrete idea where the overall story would go. BUT im planning on maybe doing a series which is just a collection of one shots of them in HS? OR i plan on doing a multi-chapter shorter story that is an AU that also takes place in a high school setting but with a twist that i dont want to reveal bc that would mean i would have to commit to it. lol

Currently Reading: nothing. unless you count all these articles/research papers I've been reading for my health research studies course (think i aced the exam yesterday so maybe all the pain was worth it)

Last Thing Researched for Art/Writing/Hyperfixation: doesnt really count as research but basically i was on pinterest creating boards for 3 different fics. was researching wedding dresses for a nat & syd fic where they go wedding dress shopping (will be finishing after my last exam). also just creating two other boards to inspire myself to start the au i teased above and my bones and all AU/retelling i talked about last month. i want to watch some more cannibalism media and maybe research about 80s pop culture and politics before i dive into that one fully.

also for acne updates, i stopped taking the antibiotics… but lowkey it’s been almost 4 years of me suffering with acne. it started during covid and i just never cared cause no one went out, but now it’s really bad and it’s mostly just scars, but i still get breakouts… i’ve tried so many things and finally went to a dermatologist, but with all the barfing i’m not sure what to do 😭😭

PROJECT 14!! I TOOK A BREAK FROM PATTERNING RICHAS!!

oh boy!! this took all of quarentena part 1 to make!! its been a few years since i made anything mesh so whipping up this hat in? what 5 and a half hours? maybe 6? i have not checked the vod time and i was also Cooking Dinner during a portion of it so time is hard to judge on how long this actually took. but it was fun! it Did reawaken my urge to crochet a mesh shirt even tho i would never wear it because it would be so uncomfortable. but making mesh is just so very mindless in a way thats good for me. maybe i should make a mesh blanket to scratch that itch.

i am blown away by how fun this group is and the skills they all have to roleplay in a second or third language for like 6 hours with basically no breaks to speak their natural languages. that is taxing to do and to deliver a story on top of that? i am so proud and impressed with all of them. also holy shit????????? no one fucking died???? i was convinced when the oneshot, now season, was announced that it was going to be a dungeon crawl that ends in everyone dying. i cant believe theyre all still alive after that?? How many of your theories were confirmed true? Was it satisfying? Is there anything you predicted wrong and wish could change? Do you accept the story more or less for now? Is there anything that made you almost quit?

Not a whole lot lol. Most specifically, I predicted that there were 4 previous Godhand members and Void was the last of that group/the first of this group. I predicted the Elfhelm quest going south and ending in misery, but I certainly did not predict how lol, and I wish it was more dark and more emphatically tragic, but tbf there's still some room to get worse that Guts is having his breakdown.

This is a bit of a stretch, but I consider Guts restlessly swinging his sword and asking himself what the hell he's supposed to do now in chapter 358 to be pretty close to confirmation of my theory that Guts bringing Casca to Elfhelm was basically a distraction for him, and a vague hope that fixing Casca would solve his problems that did not come to fruition.

I guess I kinda predicted Elfhelm having a shady history that becomes relevant, in that a bunch of ancient tortured soul-goo ate a bunch of people, or whatever lmao. I was hoping it would be relevant in a more interesting way, but I'd say it kinda counts.

I predicted Griffith crying at some point, but I didn't think it would be this soon, and it's still something he's blaming on the werebaby so it only half-counts.

Oh and I definitely called Guts seeing Griffith naked again, and Miura drawing more naked Griffith in general lol.

Among plenty of other things, I incorrectly predicted that the behelit would open and result in tragedy right after Casca gets her memories back, and that she'd sacrifice moonbaby, and I would love to change that lol, I think it would've been a ton of fun and a great set up for a third act. Still got my fingers crossed for the climax tho since that behelit's still hanging around.

The incorrect prediction that's definitely not gonna happen at any point now is Elfhelm turning out to be antagonistic in some way. And again, I definitely would've preferred that - I found the sudden evil goo, Elfhelm fading away, and Danann just being kind of sad and ineffectual, pretty underwhelming lol.

And enh, idk what accepting the story entails exactly. I reserve the right to be disappointed about how it goes lol, and to think it could've been better, or more personally enjoyable, if xyz happened, but I think that whatever is going to happen is probably roughly what Miura intended, and even if it's not what I want I can live with it. I'm not gonna be starting a #releasetherealending twitter campaign or anything lmao.

And nothing's made me nearly quit so far. I am a tried and true quitter of disappointing media though, so I could see myself dropping it in the future potentially - like what would happen is tumblr would die, or people would stop interacting with me on this blog so I'd stop updating it, and I'd stop keeping up with new chapters, and eventually I'd hear on the grapevine that it ended disappointingly with virtually no griffguts-y content, and I'd be like 'welp that's a shame, guess I'll never finish it.'

But yk, as long as I'm active on this blog, and as long as I have hope for more griffguts content lol, I'm gonna keep reading and discussing new chapters.

Some Updates on school & stuff I’m working on:

1. Going grayscale

This isn’t talking about regular doodles or full art pieces btw, it’s just referring to my comics, especially Hazy River RGB. It hit me that I’ve started liking grayscale and experimenting with values more, not to mention the comics in grayscale was the original idea or one of the earlier ideas I had and I want to bring it back. I’d also be starting school soon and it would save me some time (tho I do plan to include color in scenes where something is the main focus.

2. Jojo comics?

It’s the last day of my holidays which means my jojo school pasttime comic Jojo’s Bite-Sized Adventure is gonna be back. Idk if I’ll post it here, probably, or make another blog about it, idk lol. Hell I even have a Kars AU where I rewrite the final fight because God Dammit why does he have to win only to pull a Team Rocket, imo that ending for Kars kinda sucked and the Ultimate Life form stuff wasn’t really it for me.

3. More jojo stuff in general, I love Battle Tendency and Kars

I love Kars he’s so handsome and pretty and I like how much of a wild card he WAS. Damn an Aztec god prodigy is now my comfort character lmao. I’ve been getting into Jojo content thanks to my friend and man it’s Exactly the show I wanted. (Except for the basic anime fan service moments cause I don’t like those in general). The fandom content is also pretty good ngl. Wonder if I should share some of my Good Guy Kars AU, it’s still relatively new.

Anyway yeah, I’ll remake my Let’s Go to a Bar episode and delete the og off my twitter and webtoons (and put the message up on my webtoons) after this announcement. Otherwise I don’t wanna wake up early and sit in a classroom aaah 😭

Fun life update blog while I work on art!

I need to get better at marketing myself as, a person, as well as a skill set. And sometimes I just have little thoughts or photos I think would be nice to share, but my Instagram is like my live-portfolio and Twitter feels like I may as well be talking into the void or just go to my various personal group chats since I'm so small there. I feel like doing tiny blog posts like this along with my art/writing stuff could be fun! Let's people see I have a personality.

First on the agenda: Yesterday I made peach syrup!

I've never made fruit syrup before and technically I was trying to make a compote (the peach I had had a yucky texture but I didn't want to waste ilit and things snowballed into me at the stove). I ended up accidentally making syrup correctly instead and just needed to read what to do after it had the right thickness. This was just one big peach so I only have half a jello mug but I might take the old apples in the fridge and make a bigger batch with them! Straining the mush after boiling it down was definitely the hardest part but it was soooo worth it. It will be going on my cheesecake later.

Next: At the end of June I attended the WGA East Coast strike picket at Netflix HQ. This was my favorite sign someone else made.

Back to today, I counted all the change I'd saved in these little boxes since I started college and added it to the pile I've been saving in a separate box since I was 15, I can deposit $95.88 in change to my account now :D. 12 years of keeping my coin has finally added up to profit again haha.

People who throw away change confuse me. Yeah it's all the leftovers of bigger amounts but it's still money and it adds up over time. And it's so satisfying to see...When I actually deposit this I'll be a little sad tho, :( , I'll have to start at square one, 0, again. But having the money on hand instead of being a pile of coins will be worth it. I'll start fresh again with my empty change box(es) haha.

And finally: I saw this weevil earlier.

I just think he's neat, just a little guy.
