twitch-centric, season 2-based angst idea under the cut (as i’m not sure if it’s yet been long enough since s2 aired to not be spoilers)

what if twitch and spitfire never managed to switch back to their proper bodies? sure the maltos still work out that it’s a body swap situation. but twitch’s now stuck in spitfire’s body for the rest of the season/show?

they can’t put the emberstone back together without killing their sister/daughter as that means tearing the emberstone shard (her power source) out of her.

twitch, in still being trapped in this emberstone shard-powered body, is a chaos terran. and no matter how much things go back to normal, she’s different from her siblings. chaos terrans were born out of chaos and that made them bad/evil. now twitch is inhabiting the body of one, does that mean she is bad too?

sure she gets a couple of new features & abilities, but this isn’t her body. it’s so similar but there are enough differences, even subtle as they are, twitch never really feels comfortable in it. and the more time goes on, the more she forces herself to ignore that discomfort and just deal, because she’s stuck with this.

spitfire, on the other hand, is having a fine time and could not be less bothered by the body she’s now got. she does miss the abilities her old body had, though.

I want to rewrite the entire plot of the 2nd season of Earthspark:

1)Instead of Starscream, the main villain is Quintesson. (The whole season). That is, the Quintessons want to collect Emberstone, gain the power of Quintus Prime and destroy another world

2) Due to the fact that the Decepticons are not villains, we will have even more of their disclosures on the good side

3) And in the end, all together: Autobots, Malto, Decepticons will defeat the Quintessons

The Good ending. Peace, friendship, love 😘
