Lumpy wonkiness COULD mean something, but it is def way more likely to just sort itself out! (You literally can barely see where I had surgery now, and it was totally weird and lumptastic for a while there.)

Seriously, though, the more I think about this the more sense it makes! I mean, they all had quite varied powers - Olivia had the telekinesis; Nick Lane could kill people with his brain - so why not raising the dead? Also, they all grew up melancholy!

I had surgery under my arm three years ago and it still feels kind of tight - I suspect scar tissue will always be a bit tighter. But it also improved a LOT for me, so I suspect whatever you’re at now is definitely going to improve a lot. :)

Interesting! Thank you, that is helpful. For some reason the effects of scarring on my chest had not occurred to me. I don't mind at all, and it's still far better than the alternative.

Good luck. I found the actual process of going under and waking up (the only time I’ve had full anesthetic) really anticlimactic, so I hope you do too and the process of figuring stuff out afterwards is as easy as possible.

I will probably never teach at the university level again, actually.  Which is... a lot more disappointing than I ever would've guessed before I started.
