Soooooo....kind of a stupid question, BUT-

We know that mermaids based on different species of aquatic animals exist. As do beastmen, right? So, would it be weird to make a character based on a frog? (For context, I'm making a character based on the frog footmen from Alice in Wonderland).

Are beastmen just exclusively mammals? We know from the Sunset Savanna event that a character based on Zazu from The Lion King exists, but is he an actual bird beastman?

Are freshwater mermaids a thing? I doubt it, but frogs are freshwater, and I have no idea how to incorporate a frog-themed character otherwise.

Should I just give him weird eyes that make him look like a frog?

Would he be a fae then, since Malleus, as a dragon fae, is technically a reptile?

...I'm at my breaking point. Please help 🙏

At first I was going to do a collage that would only focus on Cheka and the Lion King character he is modelled after, young Simba, but after I learned that we were given a new TLK based character for the Sunset Savanna event, I decided to feature who characters in one collage. The new character I mentioned is named Neji (Kifaji on the JP server) and as you can seen is based upon Zazu. If Farena, Mufasa's TWST counterpart made a appearance in the game and event too, I would have added him and Mufasa to the collage as well. As we are dying to know what Farena looks like.

This Disney Twisted Wonderland collage is part of a series that showcase the parallel comparisons between the original TWST characters with the classic Disney villain characters (or trademark items) that they are based on upon and inspired from. In which has those Twisted Wonderland characters be seen as the TWST counterparts of those Disney characters. I got the idea for this series after seeing Tumblr posts of the TWST Housewardens and Vice-Housewardens being featured beside the original Disney characters that they represent, and I didn't want to limit myself to the Dorm Heads and overblot victims, but also for the other TWST characters.

Petition to Restore Kifaji's Rightful Name

I have created a petition to have the devs give Kifaji back his name because it makes absolutely no sense for them to have changed it in the first place and most of us are like 'he's already Kifaji to us so he'll always be Kifaji to us'.

IDK if it will make a lick of difference but we can try!

You all would not believe how long this piece has been sitting in my sketch folder 🤡 I loved the composition of it, but I just had a hard time with the lineart, so I hid it away in my sketch folder until I felt ready to tackle it again. Now, it’s finished! I wanted the main focus to be the shadow of the crown hanging over Leona, just out of reach just like his claim to the throne.

This localization choice really caught me off guard; unlike Falena, Maleanor, Heinrick, and Baur (who basically only had one letter changed), “Neji” has a whole syllable removed and then a random /n/ inserted???

I believe the original name, “Kifaji” means “food” in Swahili (is that a reference to Scar and Zazu’s relationship…?). Another variant I’ve seen is “kipaji”, which can translate into “talent”, “genius”, “aptitude”, “brilliant”, or “bookkeeper”, which I feel suits his role as grand chamberlain.

However, as far as I could tell, “Neji” doesn’t mean anything. The written name also looks similar to “Neige”, who is a very different character entirely, so it feels a little odd 😅

I had planned on drawing everyone for this (I made a LIST!) but it. hasn't been going well. 💀 soooo here's what I have so far!

Riddle - Roserade (I was going with 'no legendaries', otherwise I would've given him a Shaymin) (and I don't think Togedemaru is actually a hedgehog or I would've given him one of those too) (...they kind of do fit though. hmm.)

Trey - Alcremie (clover/mint cream + strawberry/ruby cream)

Cater - DITTO SQUAD! DITTO SQUAD! DITTO SQUAD!

Ace - Impidimp (I feel like there's probably a better one for him, but I can't think of it)

Deuce - Scraggy (meanwhile I KNOW deep in my heart that this is true)

Leona - Pyroar (but like. a nasty Pyroar. just a grizzly old Pyroar with the shittiest attitude imaginable. they pretend to hate each other but secretly they are a bonded pair, do not separate)
