I like this because it makes me think of ideas

This is fun to me because then we get into the idea of worldbuilding the soulmate bond. Especially since it's never truly mentioned how equal that pain sharing is (plus the mirror never canonically says that yuu doesn't have a soul, just that their soul doesn't match anything in wonderland- yuu's soul is described as soundless, shapeless, colorless and formless though there IS a soul to be read by the mirror. The soul is just not a wonderland one.)

This au is also one where periods aren't a thing in wonderland. Birth and ovulation are a thing, sure, but for most "no periods in wonderland" au's it's assumed that there are some key differences in biology due to both the magic in the air and the way souls are implied to be able to claim magic. Obviously not everyone is able to wield it though they can utilize magic in objects and technomancy plus even amongst the mages there's mention of how some only have just enough magic reserves to be considered a mage (there's also interesting implications from Leona about how Yuu doesn't have any scent of magic, implying that most have something and that mages tend to have a certain amount). I've seen some au's and headcanons use this idea of magic affecting biology to explain "no period" au's or why scars and injuries are quick to heal and also why many can bounce back from being flung like ragdolls.

Ah, but jeez wouldn't it be so screwy if due to the soul differences some of that soul link stuff is lost in translation to yuu who isn't as familiar with that??? Perhaps Yuu gets a dulled version of it, since their soul is said to be unable to have magic due to its difference from wonderland souls? Like how something doesn't have to be good at broadcasting to get a connection?? I'm sure there's angst to be had in soul differences in a soulmate au.

Imagine mish-mashing the 'periods don't exist in twst' AU thing with a 'soulmates that can feel each-other's pain' AU - especially if Yuu is afab and gets awful cramps

Yuu's soulmate is HORRIFICALLY concerned by the severe abdominal pain they feel for about a week every month - a guy like Riddle, Rook, or Azul may end up tracking patterns in it and figuring out that it's a monthly thing their soulmate seems to have to deal with.

If someone wants my thoughts on another character, just hmu cause I have TWST brainworms and nobody to ramble for hours on them about. (That was barely English, but I held on and a sentence came out.)

-He's your living alarm clock for your skincare and vitamins (if you choose to take any). He makes sure you're using everything in the right order, down to remembering sunscreen. Your morning and bedtime routines are shared, for that's when you have time to talk to each other outside of the brief breaks in his schedule.

-Whenever he performs, he looks for you in the crowd, putting his entire chest into it once he sees you. Above all, not only does he want to be the fairest in the land, but he wants to be someone you can be proud of. Likewise, he encourages your dreams and aspirations, harsh as his words can sometimes be.

-On days he has nothing to do, you're his first thought. He asks you to pack your bags and it's an immediate vacation. Unless your desire is to be home, then you guys just spend the day drinking tea and talking. He loves both of these, dearly.

-Crowley doesn't do his job right, so it's frequent you sleep together. From when one confesses to the other, even, it's decided. And given he's a dormleader he isn't questioned. Between all of us though, sleeping with you is a more enjoyable thing than performing. Because of him you have a habit of frequently washing the bedsheets.

-He can't stay away from you fresh after a shower. Hair up in a towel and pajamas on? Bathrobe? Big shirt and underwear? Yes, please. You smell divine and you're extra soft. Especially no pants, be it in a nightgown or big shirt; he really likes to just lay his head on your lap. Not in a seduce-y kind of way, but just being near you.

-How much power do you have over this man? What is your secret? Grim screams, for he does not know.

I know I mostly post about our life but here’s some twisted wonderland ideas I got randomly!

-After the overblots and Yu gets closer to the overblots, they do favors for Yuu. Like Vil gives them skin care stuff, Riddle gives them some of his tarts, Leona helps Yuu with money maybe, Azul might give them a free meal, idk

-Let’s say Yuu has a kinda mental toll, from the overblots (and the fact they got taken from their world to a whole new one where they are weaker than most people around them) What if the first years have a sleepover at ramshackle to comfort them? They do standard sleepover stuff just so that Yuu can just have a sort of brain break.

-Lilia and some of the staff members acting familial towards Yuu. Like Lilia tries to feed Yuu his horrible cooking.

-Trey and Jamil making Yuu some food if they can’t afford any.

Oh totally, i feel like initially he might assume maybe someone told you that and now he's gotta fight someone for your honor and dignity but once he processes that you're the one thinking that then he's full on sobbing. He thinks the world of you and thinks perhaps that hasn't gotten through to you. Feels like he's failed you in some capacity

Feel like Sebek is the type of person to start crying if you ever talk negatively about yourself, and he cries hard like full-on sobbing ,Sebek is very open with his emotions and always expresses them loudly,be it admiration,distaste, anger,happiness ect. So if you pull a "I dont think I'm good enough ngl" he'd just hold you and cry,feeling like he failed you

Ace also used to listen to vocaloid like middle school or something.

(slight mentions of bullets / guns at the tweels part) ace n Floyd (this is like an au if the octotrio like had their potions n shit as kids ) seem like the type of kids to eat ANYTHING and everything in sight. Dirt, Sand, bugs, rocks etc. Basically i hc that as kids they used to meet up at playgrounds n used to trade shit to eat (non-edible stuff ofc). Floyd would pick apart coral, n giving it to ace to eat telling him it was a delicacy n ace wld actually eat it, n like 15 mins later he'd throw up!! Floyd n jade also have insanely sharp teeth n can bite thru most things (rocks, probably even guns and or bullets).

Cater would literally livestream anything slightly interesting (or horrifying) on insta (guinaifen refrence).

Sebek, tweels, ortho, idia, rook, ruggie, ace have all eaten weird ass shit as kids and people still wonder how they're alive.

Idia, cater, silver, Riddle all have anemia / lack iron.

Idia, cater, Riddle, jade, deuce all wear contacts cuz they have poor eyesight.

To add onto that Deuce used to wear glasses in elementary, n middle school but when he became a delinquent he dropped them (and or got contacts).

Idia makes actually creative insults in a short amount of time.

Idia owns like 3 separate closets to collect things abt his hyperfixations / special interests at the time.

Jade actually find snakes fascinating.

Floyd, ace, lilia, ruggie, kalim, like all genres all music, it really depends on their mood.

Floyd, kalim, n vil are all dance buddies.

Floyd has probably kept multiple lizards / reptiles as pets in the past.

Lilia paints diasomnias nails whenever he feels like it.

Kalim, Adeuce, Floyd, Lilia, Ortho, Idia and Epel are really good at ddr / arcade games in general !! (cherry juice go on arcade dates).

For the Holiday Event! || Prompt: "Say that again" ; Genre: Comedy

Jamil’s eye twitches as he points to the wall. “Can you deal with that?”

You follow his gaze to a tiny insect perched on the wall, minding its own business. It’s harmless, really—probably some wandering bug that got lost in the labyrinth of Scarabia.

“Deal with it?” you ask, a mischievous grin forming. “It’s kind of cute.”

Jamil freezes mid-motion, his fingers tightening around the dishcloth he was holding. He turns to you slowly, his expression a mix of disbelief and barely suppressed rage.

“Say that again.”

“It’s cute!” you repeat with exaggerated enthusiasm, clasping your hands together as if the bug were a newborn puppy.

Jamil looks like he’s seriously debating whether or not to throw the dishcloth at you. “Are you out of your mind? It’s a bug.”

“A cute bug,” you correct, tilting your head as you inspect the little creature.

Jamil pinches the bridge of his nose, muttering under his breath. “Out of all the people I could’ve asked…”

Not wanting to miss the chance to further mess with him, you walk over, cup your hands around the insect, and gently pick it up. “Look at it! It’s harmless. Maybe it’s lost and scared.”

“I’m about to be lost and scared if you don’t get rid of it,” he mutters, edging away.

With a triumphant smile, you stride to the window, open it, and set the insect free. “There you go, little guy. Live your best life!”

You close the window and turn to find Jamil staring at you like you’ve grown a second head.

“You’re unbelievable,” he says, shaking his head. “You could’ve just squashed it and saved us both the trouble.”

“But then I wouldn’t get to bug you,” you say with a teasing grin, wrapping your arms around him before he can protest.

Jamil stiffens for a moment, grumbling under his breath. “You’re insufferable.”

“And yet, here we are,” you say, giggling as you bury your face into his shoulder.

He sighs but doesn’t let you pull away. Instead, his arms loosely drape around you, a faint flush dusting his cheeks. “You’re lucky I have patience.”

You pull back slightly to look up at him, your grin widening. “Aww, you mean you’re not mad at me?”

His deadpan stare answers your question. “Oh, I’m mad.”

You burst into laughter, and though Jamil tries to keep his annoyed expression, the corners of his lips twitch upward.

“Next time, just kill the bug,” he says, but there’s no heat in his words.

“Next time, I’ll keep it as a pet,” you reply cheerily.

Jamil groans, leaning his forehead against yours. “I’m going to regret ever talking to you, aren’t I?”

“Maybe,” you say, beaming.

Despite his complaints, he doesn’t let go, and you bask in the victory of being a knight in shining armor.

What if? Skully has been following Yuu this entire time? Or what if he’s a visiting ghost during Halloween and sees you.

Imagine this, Skully who used to be part of Ramshackle dorm, sees you. What’s this? Someone of the Ramschackle dorm? It’s been so long since someone’s been part of his dorm.

He could be following you through your adventures from the beginning and protecting you/watching over you or he’s there because he’s curious about you during his visits to the campus.

He wonders why do you seem vaguely familiar. He doesn’t remember you.

He’s there with you when you get sucked into the book.

That’s why Skully calls you a kindred spirit. Thats why he feels a connection to you more than anyone else. Why you wake up in his arms. Why he choses to take you with him.

And then at the end? When everyone returns.

Skully remembers. Ah, it was you and these students. He remembers when he was sucked into that book at a young age.

He remembers the melancholy of Halloween back when he was alive. But one day, he felt the need for change. He wanted to spread a different kind of Halloween. Where everyone had fun and merriment.

So that’s why. It was because of his friends that he was able to enjoy a new type of Halloween.

It was because of them that he became known as the King of Halloween.

He might have not remembered back then. But he remembers now.

He’s happy that his friends are enjoying Halloween joyously.

He’s happy that you are having a good time.

When he sees you overcome with emotion, he lays a kiss on your hand.

He hadn’t remembered until then the reason why but that feeling of excitement and delight stayed with him all through his life till even now in the afterlife.

His time made precious because of you and the others.

So there’s no need to cry.
