Ok, bear with me here…..

Why do Jade and Floyd’s hair things even make sense?

From their own perspective the hair to letter thing makes no sense.

It doesn’t work in front of a mirror at all.

So was it a coincidental thing for their hair to be like that?

Did they start doing it because why not?

Did someone point it out and they ran with it?

Am I making a bigger deal out of this than I need to? (Yes)

I'm a fervent "genuine cane user Azul" believer, just so you know. It just makes sense ? Guy who's got his legs cut from eight to two, who has bones and has to face gravity for the first time in his life, etc.

In the original Little Mermaid story, the mermaid's legs actually hurt her a lot whenever she took a step. Maybe it's not to that point for Azul, but he's explicitly said to have poor balance and stamina. A cane would just be the perfect mobility aid for him in all aspects.

seriously though I was probably like. 60-80% thinking we'd get at least one tweel for chapter 10. but I was NOT expecting it so soon! both of 'em! in August! a shame we're not getting a Coral Sea event after all...but I guess I can be resigned to that and ALSO excited for getting shiny sparkly glowing(!!!!) mertwins along with Azul fighting his inner demons and going right for the eyes!
