If you don’t ship it move on. Creeps. Only thing worse is when they follow up with “she’s like his mother. They have a mother-son relationship.” Wtf show are you watching?! They’re the same age??? Notes on 2x06 (and two rants)

- Laurents guitar is horribly out of tune but the scene was cutie patootie but I still got the ick. It would’ve been better if they’d just let Louis sing the song alone (like originally intended)

- Laurent is gonna be Ash’s new son. It makes the utmost sense to me. He leaves without a son and falls for Carol’s lie and comes back with a son to look after, it’s the perfect conclusion to Ash’s arc. (I have a blog post of that on here). “I don’t think he likes me” foreshadowing “You came here to save a kid, you still can” foreshadowing. The way Ash and Laurent are in the plane together? They way Ash explains to Laurent how the plane works, leaving them to joke around in the cockpit? Foreshadowing. Daryl literally says “they’re good together.” Daryl’s probably never gonna be Laurent’s “Dad” in my opinion. Now this could mean two problematic things: 1) Daryl’s entire arc in season 1 and 2 of his own spin-off comes without a reward, a resolution, a reason. If I’m right and Ash bonds deeply with Laurent while Daryl’s away, everything the viewer and Daryl had to go through don’t mean crap anymore. The entire french arc, the kiss, the controversy that the season is for many fans would be for nothing. Or 2) they spin it like Laurent’s the only reason Daryl has now to even go back to America. Because apparently he didn’t have enough before Laurent took of to the Commonwealth. Right? RIGHT? It’s not like he had people there who dearly miss him. Kind of insulting if you ask me. No big hopes on that front for season 3.

- the biggest ick I still have is that Laurent is written like the all knowing, deep emotionally matured messiah, bro is 14 ?? why do they make him talk like that

- the season doesn’t have enough gore. It lacks the TWD-feeling. Everything looks so clean and polished.

- CROSSBOW RETURN AY HE FINALLY LOOKS LIKE DARYL AGAIN

- Carol crossed an ocean for Daryl just so for him to want and send her straight back home while he offers to stay behind okay Daryl. Carol, Ash and Laurent would make a cute family

- On the bright side is Daryl’s sadness, so to speak. He sees how the entire life he started to want for himself is getting ripped away from under his fingers. Looking at the entire plot like this, it makes actually sense, the way he behaved. He figured his happy ending consists of a stereotypical family, a wife/girlfriend and a son. In my opinion, he was more in love with the idea of that, settling down, than necessarily the people (a recent interview with Norman Reedus confirms the suspicion). But I think, because he realized that this might be something he needs/wants, is the next person he gets involved with purely out of convenience? Or does he accept that having a family of his own might not be in the cards for him? It’s okay, baby boy. Maybe that life just isn’t for you.

- so cool to see the fricking euro tunnel as an european

- daryl sees gasmasks and walks into the tunnel like what’s the worst that could happen right? Meanwhile Carol strolls off to find pennywise i mean sophia

- horror effekts look so cool in this ep. The glowing walkers really are the shit.

- daryl “chokehold’s illegal” dixon is back

- Carol is more alone than ever in this season and it breaks my heart

- Daryl having a vision of Isabelle will never not be icky why is she leaning over him like that get off of him?

- Zabel cutting the “if you see Glenn, Beth and Merle, tell them I did my best”-scene from the leaked script was the biggest mistake of the entire season. That scene was so important for who Daryl is as a person, struggling with survivor’s guilt and trauma, and good old Zabel reduced the scene to a stereotypical “dead gf gives male hero hope to keep going” with no emotional resolution or development for Daryl’s character. Zabel really is one of the worst showrunners I’ve seen (for a story like Daryl’s, I haven’t seen anything else from him) who absolutely lacks the comprehension of his main characters and what is important for their development to sell a love story that was doomed from the start and doesn’t even bother to try and dive into what makes his character drive and how they’re wired. Sorry if I ever spoke badly about Benioff and Weiss for the last Game of Thrones seasons because Zabel really takes the cake.

- “where is codron?” “He ran off” and that is a wrap on the french cast, bye fuckers

- “you can’t always get what you want” Daryl didn’t get what he wanted - to get home quick. But he got what he needed, - a means to endure his time abroad, something to care for, something to fight for. Just like the Rolling Stone song says. Now it’s time for the next adventure.

That being said, Norman acted beautifully with what he was given and even though I heavily criticized the season I’ll never get tired of seeing him as Daryl. The guy owns my heart.

Rick grimes: He would just knock on your door one morning bright and early as the door opened he saw you in a towel he would blush but greet you a good morning, you smile at him asking why is he here you let him in and he would talk to you about how he felt about you, you was shocked at first but knew he did like you so he asked you out and you said yes  

“let me get dressed and we can go for breakfast “ you said and he nodding smiling 

Daryl dixon:he's not good with words so he spoke to Rick asking him how to ask you out, he walked to your house and knocked on the door you opened the door,  greeting him with a smile 

(daryl) um hi you wanna go hunting with me? 

(you) oh yeah sure for everyone else? What does everyone want fish? Deer? I asked he just started at me 

(Daryl) DINNER WITH ME!!!! I shouted….. Would you like to have dinner with me? 

(you) I smiled I would love to 

Negan:he went to Alexanderia this morning being let in who ever was on watch he walked to your house he knocked in the door and when you opened it he smiled down at you giving you a smaller than him you smiled back greeting him a good morning he said morning to you and the realised that you were half dressed he smiled even more licking his bottom lip 

(you) negan what do you want? im kinda getting dressed

(Negan) oh don't let me stop you I said licking my lips she blushed shaking her head, I was just going to ask if you wanted to have breakfast with me and spend the day together 

(you) sure I've not nothing better to do let me get dressed first you wanna come in, “I ment as a date”what?

(you) I bit my lip. My dress was flowy and red. It did bring out my figure. It was a sunny day today, after I got all the knots out of his shoulders and back he lay down  on my bed smiling up at me “want ice cream? “he asked I smiled nodding he shot up 

(Simon) allow me I stuck my arm out for her and she laughed but took it I walked   her out into the long halls to the lady who makes the ice cream I got two scoops and gave her a bowl she took it. Taking a bite licking her lips after, 

(you) thank you Simon he smiled at me and kissed me on the cheek I blushed “do you wanna have dinner with me tomorrow night? “ my eyes shot up you mean like a…. Date? 

(Simon) I smiled and nodded yes a date wear  that dress I winked at her and she smiled, after ice cream I went to negan's room walking in “SIMON! “ GUESS WHO'S GOT A DATE!!! 

Glenn:he came back from a supply run covered in blood which wasn't his thankfully but when you saw all the blood over him your heart dropped he went to go and clean up and you bought him clean. Clothes he was stood in front of you with no top on and you just ran up to him and hugged him which didn't shock him at all he was used of  you two hugging at random moments or when one of you was sad, or hurt 

(glenn) I'm OK it's. Not my blood 

You) I pulled away I don't care I thought you were  hurt, you looked at him with sad eyes he huffs  don't go out for a while OK? Please I'll tell rick that I will go instead of you he shook his head 

(glenn) I can't let you do that you have your job this is mine anyway I don't want you to get hurt 

(you) I don't want you to get hurt, you're worth more than this… I hugged him again I can't lose you glenn you kissed his cheek 

Glenn) you won't. You'll have to keep hold of me then 

(you) always I locked eyes with him and kissed his cheek  softly he pulled with a little blush “you wanna go out with me? “I smiled and nodded 

Abraham:you two was on watch together it was late at night the stars were in the sky and the moon was bright you took a deep breath and let it out, you were glad that it seemed quite tonight as you watched the moon you hear a lighter being clicked down and a puff of smoke blowing your way you rolled your eyes looking at him,. He smiled at you 

(you) your smoke. Just ruined my thoughts  he laughed 

(Abraham) and what were they? 

(you) I was thinking about how life was before. My sister and dad used to go camping back in the summer and used to watch the stars and tell Stories I smiled to myself. You looked back at him and he smiled at you and never said anything which surprised you. He was quiet tonight which wasn't like him. Usually he can't stop talking and telling jokes. OK what's up? 

(Abraham) I've been thinking alot lately, about you 

(You) you  turn to him. in a good way or bad way? I mean I know that I can be annoying. He smiled at you looking at you, what? 

(Abraham) I don't find you annoying. I like you, why don't  me. And you  get a drink one night? She looked at me shocked then smiled with a little nod

Dwight:Ok so, how he asked you out. It was kind of a dare. It was late at night you two were playing cards and drinking you was loesing 4-2, he was winning he looked at you as you drank another shot, you know you have to do a dare right if you lose, he said 

(you) you rolled your eyes at him uhh fine! You turn the cards over and he laughed clearly you lost the game “AHHHH BUSTED!! “ uhh FINE! What's the dare? You asked he smiled 

(Dwight) OK so the dare is you have to kiss the next person who comes in this room orrr you have to go on a date with me! 

(you) before you could even say anything you hear him talk “looks like the lucky guy is here “you turn your head and the person who walked in was fat joey, you turn back to him and he smiled knowing you would never kiss him “well? “he asked with a hint of amusement in his voice, where are we going? 

(Dwight) what? “our date “I smiled. Your going on a date with me? She nodded, oh well that was easy 

King ezekiel:he asked you out in a cute way it was early in the morning when you heard a knock on your door he stood there nervous as you opened the door seeing him there he smiled, ah good morning (your name) fine morning it is 

(you) you smiled at him brightly good morning Ezekiel he gave you a small nod as he pulled his hand out from his back he was holding a bunch of flowers, deep red roses you smiled “would you have dinner with me? “you smiled up at him and nodded inviting him inside as you two ate breakfast and went on a walk around the kingdom

i’m just. i’m always thinking about this. i know it probably wasn’t intentional. but he wears this handkerchief in his back right pocket from season 1 onward. i Know it Wasn’t intentional (Probably).

But surely someone (norman? scott gimple? andy lincoln i bet) on TWD has to know that by hanky code standards, daryl’s been cruising to get a fisting since the beginning of the damn show💀
