Tw: g*nshots, death
So, I've moved a lot in my life. This last year (2023) I moved in with my bf in July. Prior to that I was in the same neighborhood for like 7 years. It wasn't a good place. If you google the name all you get are shootings, robbing, and murders.
So tonight is NYE, and there are a lot of fireworks. Waay less than in the hood where I was but still some. I'm just trying to keep my heart rate down and breathing even.
Its not gunfire, its not gunfire
They like to shoot off a Lot of guns at midnight where I used to live
Thats been my mantra all night. Just trying to breathe.
2023 was hard, lost 2 furbabies and my aunt, had to end an engagement but stayed together as a couple. Had multiple medical procedures not work to help with my back pain. There was good too, like moving in with one of my boyfriends and his family (different partner than previously stated, we're poly) and finally living somewhere safe. My mom having a successful spinal surgery. Me getting all my furbabies back.
Idk where this post is going, kinda treating it like a journal entry I guess.
Anyways, I'm hopeful this new year will bring good things. If not then, I'll just keep pushing along.

Okay, it's time for the old sketches!
I used to draw them with full enthusiasm, especially with the latter, but then I lost interest and left them just sketches.
The latter is generally fun: I can't draw blood and guts, lol. In my head, I imagined a completely different idea, like "cartoon style on the outside, and a realistic bloody mess in the lasagna," but something went wrong and I forgot about it. And now when I look at this crazy Jon, I feel a bit of a cringe (Jon, I'm sorry, you didn't deserve this from me, honestly-).
But still, it's an experience for me.

cal how do we feel about priest kink. i want to ruin a holy man
LOVE priest kink. love love love LOVE PRIEST KINK.
cw: sacrilege, priest!choso (idk where choso came from but he as rattling around in there), corruption, loss of virginity, they fuck in the church, mentions of masturbation
i think about this and choso, who has only just started preaching to the congregation at 24. he’s still learning from the old pastor and his liturgies are still choppy and awkward, but he’s getting there. and he’s SO devoted in his practice.
he wakes up early to study the Bible, he stays after mass to take questions from the congregation and offer guidance, and he’s quickly becoming a pillar in your small community. there’s nothing that could shake his faith, that is, until you arrive in the church one rainy evening.
you’re soaked to the bone, looking like you’ve been standing outside with no umbrella for hours. you make eye contact with him, walk to the confessional, and step inside. choso finds you there, sitting down in the box adjacent and asking what your trouble is.
“my life has spiraled out of control,” you say, sniffling. “help me, father.”
he tells you to say the hail mary five times and repent and you listen.
you start to come by the church regularly, never attending service but always coming to visit with the new young priest. he senses that the church sets you at ease, that it takes a weight off of your shoulders. at first he thanks god for it. he thanks the lord for shining his light on upon you. then, as you spend more and more time alone with him in the church, he starts to grow greedy. choso starts to want to believe that he’s the reason you seem so relaxed, that being around him is the reason you seem to glow. it’s not the lord, but choso.
these feelings begin to spiral in him. desire and temptation come to a muddled head whenever he feels your thigh press up against his through the smock. choso finds out what it feels like to work silver magic between his fingers to the thought of you, locked away in his room beside a burning candle of the lord. there’s no greater release than the one he has when you’re on the mind. choso finds that even prayer offers little in comparison to the rewards of your body.
eventually, he’s giving in. choso succumbs to temptation in the empty hall of the church, behind the altar where you’d found him hunched over his desk. choso takes you there, in the holy house of god, and soils himself between your legs. his devotion to the lord pales in comparison to the admiration he feels when he buried himself inside of you, bunching his fingers in the meat of your hips and chanting your name like a prayer.
choso breaks his vow in front of the very eyes of god and then, he kneels between your legs and mutters a hail mary with his tongue pressed flat to your clit.

This drawing took so, so, sooooo long! I'm so glad I finished it and it's finally done. It was just another art piece in my checklist that I can finally cross out.
If you're interested in seeing where this character is from then I've left a link (somehow idk where it'll pop up) to the first episode of her series. It'll play you the next episode after and then the last/3rd episode.

After the A-10 had completed its mission and cleared the area, the ground troops moved in, it is said that a solitary cajun cooked depleted uranium seasoned cow was discovered, that had most unfortunately suffered from a rapid kinetic disassembly unknowingly delivered by the A-10 Warthog as it provided its support. Thusly, explaining the appearance of a victory marking in the form of a cow adorning the side of a Warthog.

I fucking hate Reddit
I mean, look at everyone defending Zionism and making us look evil.
Context: they have an Israel vs Palestine page on how Isr**l is obviously good and not evil and how they are just trying to protect themselves from "terrorists".
Also, my Dad is a fucking Z!0n!st so obviously I have multiple reasons to hate him. And he is a racist too. Like, when COVID-19 hit, he blamed Asians, aka Chinese in his eyes for causing COVID-19 but Japanese people were fine because at least they were cool. And when BLM was at its peak, he decided to preach his hate agenda on how black people were terrorists. Even trying to indoctrinate my brother into being a racist.
Anyway, back on topic.
If you wanna know what's going on, here are they assholes supporting !sr@3l and such.
Also, I know this is off topic, but I fucking hate that the most accepted form of gen z birth years are 1997-2012 because it TOTALLY makes sense for 1996 to clearly remember 9/11 and be 100% different from us 1997-1999 babies. Generationology is BS. We're almost 30 as well and will be by the end of the decade. What is their problem? And I was affected by 9/11 as well despite only having very vague memories of it. Eventually they will say that you don't need to remember 9/11 but be in a classroom on that day, which is what some people born in 1997-1999 were literally in (heard of a thing called preschool; wasn't that a thing in 2001 as well)? The media is literally run by you know who and we need to retire the millennial and gen z thing if it's run by those pro Z10n1st pigs. And we need to bring the term "zillennial" in effect. It's literally better than being a Z10n1st. If you are gonna call yourself a gen z or whatnot, fine. I HATE the label. I have always hated labels on what I can and cannot be as I had to deal with them for years because of my "loving" Mormon religion and whatnot. People SHOULD be able to choose labels for themselves regardless of what the media says.

The Animated History of Treasure Island: Mr. Magoo's Treasure Island - 1964
Tumblr media
I have been on a journey to watch every animated adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. (Yes, my hyperfixations can be quite unusual). I wanted to share my thoughts and research on them as they were compiled before hopefully making a long video about the entire topic.
So today I'm here to share my thoughts on one of its earliest animated adaptations: Mr. Magoo's Treasure Island from 1964. Read on if that's something you'd enjoy!
Nowadays, it’s easy to dismiss Mr. Magoo as that ableist cartoon making fun of nearsighted people that spawned the worst Leslie Neilson film of all time, one so bad it universally flopped and was even protested by the National Federation of the Blind. But this now maligned character was once a mainstay of animation and television. The original cartoon series won two Academy Awards for Best Animated Short Film and its titular character made TV history as the star of the first-ever animated TV Christmas Special — Mister Magoo’s Christmas Carol. It would go on to be parodied by The Simpsons and even still aired on television as late as 2014 by The CW. However, in this case, the most important part of the special is how it would lead to the story of Treasure Island’s first full-scale animated adaptation. (The absolute first was Mel-O-Toons: Treasure Island, but we’ll mention it a bit later.)
Tumblr media
After the wildly successful original series and television special, United Productions of America decided to have Mr. Magoo star in various other literary adaptations. Thus, The Famous Adventures of Mr. Magoo came to life in 1964 with Mr. Magoo’s Treasure Island being one of its earliest episodes, a two-parter even.
The shows were played far more straight, ignoring the previous nearsighted jokes outside of their introductory sequences, and were quite realistic. My research says the other episodes were highly realistic and even portrayed a good bit of the violence and deaths within their stories. From my experience with their adaptation of Treasure Island, this rings particularly true. Plenty of characters are straight-up shot and killed as they are in the original novel and Jim Hawkins still fights Isreal to the death as he attempts to reclaim the Hispaniola. For the most part, it’s quite a direct retelling of the original story, but with a few big changes.
Tumblr media
First, there are some characters that are completely omitted including Jim’s mother, John Trelawney, and “Blind” Pew, the latter of which is a particular relief considering the source material. I’d even hazard a guess that he was avoided entirely to not make any confusing associations with who the true “main character” was in the show.
The biggest departure from the book that is absolutely worth focusing on is how the story ends as it likely doesn’t align with your memories of watching adaptations of the story over the years. For those who don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of Treasure Island as I now do, I shall quote the book directly:
"Ben Gunn was on deck alone, and as soon as we came on board he began, with wonderful contortions, to make us a confession, Silver was gone. The maroon has connived at his escape in a shore boat some hours ago and he now assured us he had only done so to preserve our lives, which would certainly have been forfeited if "that man with the one leg had stayed aboard." But this was not all. The sea-cook had not gone empty-handed. He had cut through a bulkhead unobserved, and had removed one of the sacks of coin, worth, perhaps, three or four hundred guineas, to help him on his way further wanderings.
I think we were all pleased to be so cheaply quit of him."
Mr. Magoo started at least one more historic trend with this series — they have Jim Hawkins set Long John Silver free. It makes sense as Jim is the only one with a relationship, however strained, with the pirate menace that might incline him to help the old sea dog avoid the gallows. Still, these were the first storytellers that decided Jim’s relationship with Long John was so important to the story, that he must have a conflicted moment where he sets his previous tormenter free.
In the first-ever animated adaptation of the tale, Mel-O-Toons: Treasure Island, decided to leave the end particularly nebulous as to what happened to Long John in the end. While Mr. Magoo’s 2019 animated series is so obscure most don’t know it exists, this choice made for Mr. Magoo’s Treasure Island is one that would echo out through the decades.
If this piqued your interest, my next Treasure Island-related post will be on Osamu Tezuka's adaptation — Shin Takarajima (A New Treasure Island). Thanks for reading, and let me know if you enjoyed learning about such a niche topic!
