Rosie needing to trick Adam into eating like a toddler. He can eat normal food as long as there is flesh in it, just a tiny bit.
Rosie: I made you ribs dear! I heard they were your favorite.
Adam: What kind of ribs?
Rosie: Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to.
They probably need a certain amount of flesh in everything they eat for their digestive system to work properly.
Adam: But…
Rosie: You’ll like them hun.
Adam takes one, a bit disgusted but he knows he has to do it if he wants to stay at his senses. His “instincts” wouldn’t just let him die of starvation. He takes a bite and is surprised that it tastes like a normal rib.
Adam eats the whole plate in hunger and looks at Rosie with defeated eyes.
Adam, whispering: They weren’t normal ribs were they.
Rosie, rubbing his shoulder: That is half true. I added enough human meat so you wouldn’t throw them out but the rest, and the most, was normal meat.
How I think the liminal boys would do with their victims--
Been thinking about this jdskm
Raph, if he doesn't eat his victims will either taxidermy them or pull a Poppy Playtime and transfer their organs to one of his existing plushies, giving them "life" and adding to his surveillance around his space.
Donnie will experiment with the bodies he gets. He will dissect to learn more about the mortal body, he will also add "enhancements" to them. Tear them apart, put them back together similar to a potato head doll-
Leo's is the most straight forward. He drowns and eats his victims when he's done playing with them. He sees no use in playing with the body after, so he just eats them and keeps any cool belonging they had on them.
Mikey will turn his victims into art! Use their blood as paint, dip the corpse in cement or some substance to turn them into a statue- or he'll have Raph's help in taxidermy and use them like reference dolls. He uses human skin to make his masks most of the time, so that is also what can happen. He may also cook his victims and turn them into food art instead, he is a great cook and artist after all.
he couldve! its totally a possibility! nature is brutal and unfortunately, callum was the brutal part of nature. an opportunity to eat is an opportunity to eat, and when you're genuinely starving (possibly to death) you become even more desperate.
im not saying bro did. in the canon au he does not. however i may explore that possibility in a side story or something. its an interesting thing to think about, especially how he'd feel after and the effects on his mental health.
im a huge fan of delving into darker things like this, so its very likely i may write something about how it would mess with him. anything darker like this will most likely be separate from the main au :))
You know that time Corpse had to improv a western character? And he chose cannibal called Crops? Who eats heads? And then he judged the other guy for eating lanterns?
I love how Dungeon Meshi bring Senshi hyperfixation with monster food and said "this is all a trauma response".
In my mind it's like: he never knew if he really ate his past group, if he ever taste dwarf flesh. So he is been trying to find the same taste of that soup, just to ease his mind and heart, just to finally know the truth. That bring him to be so into good and monster cooking, he is been looking for that same taste...
He is still deadly scared of griffins even if he never saw one before, but can keep his eyes from it's dead body.
He almost crashed down when the taste was not the same. His biggest fear becoming in a awful truth.
And then Laios bring another alternative. And then the taste was the same. And finally his mind and heart can ease in peace, relief.
Also god, i love the detail of him always cooking in front of the others, always showing them the ingredients he is going to use for the cooking. He didn't had that chance and that bring him to a heavy guilt.
He is worried when he see young people on the dungeons, just as young has he was the first time he step in. He needs to feed the youngest, because thats the same compassion someone give to him before.
There's a new DBD villian out so here are your periodical reminders because im already seeing people refer to the new enemy as both "wend!g0es" & "sk*nwalker" & getting them mixed up:
The DBD team has already said that the new enemy wouldnt have anything to do with Native American mythology
Wend!g0es & sk*walkers are from Native American mythology, they are NOT "cryptids" (Algonquian & Navajo respectively)
Therefore, the new enemy is neither of those things
The whole "monster that mimics human speech & humans calling for help" thing was completely made up about ice cannibals by Stephen King in Pet Semetary iirc. This is not an original or even popular part of the "lore" or definitions of ice cannibals. Ice cannibals don't and cannot speak, let alone mimic human speech.
A sk*walker is NOT a "monster that wears human skin", or an animal wearing human skin, or a monster that looks like a "weird looking" animal, it is a human who utilizes ANIMAL SKINS, and as far as I know, they also don't do the "mimicking humans to lure them in" thing, they don't have to because they can already talk and are human.
These two beings from our cultures are not the same thing and have been heavily appropriated & bastardized & amalgamated by both the media & by moniyaws online.
Leave our spirits alone and stop calling the new DBD enemy these things because it's not anything close to what these spirits actually are.
Adam would most likely lose weight if he isn't eating that much or keeps throwing up everything he does. Rosie does get him to eat eventually, and he does gain some weight back, though.
Heavy cannibalism mention
Adam would probably go as far as he could go with not eating without letting the ‘cannibal instinct’ take over and force him to eat and feed himself, so he’d probably be like this. He’s like eating really little every once in five days or something.
And yes Rosie eventually gets him to gain some weight with also giving him normal food mixed with enough human flesh.
I’m not very far into Dungeon Meshi, but I think Laios is definitely the kind of person to ask if you would eat them for survival and then would get offended if you said no.
In this AU Alastor never disappeared, he's at his full power and helps the Hotel because he's bored.
After the overlord meeting he and Rosie captured Velvette and ate her for fun :)
AU inspired by Velvette's line in Respectless "I could eat you all for breakfast"... said in front of 2 real cannibals (Alastor and Rosie of course). They took it personal.
