Ok to archive. 200 words exactly. RPG begins after title:

Russian Roulette

Two players sit at a table facing each other. Place a single d6 on the middle.

Each player embodies a character they've played before elsewhere (it is recommended that Russian Roulette be incorporated into a larger playthrough of another TTRPG).

Use a character you are genuinely attached to and want to continue using. If you lose, never use them again.

Detail what brought your characters to play russian roulette. If the setting requires so, justify the existence of the modified (6 bullets instead of 7) M1895 revolver with a red star on they'll be using.

Set an in-game prize for the winner. The loser won't need anything.

Flip a coin to determine who'll go first. They'll pick up the d6 and select one of the numbers. They shall press that face of the die as if they were loading in a bullet. In-game, they are.

Before rolling the d6, give a brief impression of the character's thoughts as they hold the cold metal to their head.

Pull the trigger.

Any number other than the loaded one is empty. Pass the die to the other player. They do the last two lines. Keep playing.

Bonus points the gun Whumpee is turned into is complete nightmare fuel, made of flesh and all.

Not sure what kinds of prompts you'd like, so I'll provide options, if that's okay!

A whumpee who can see into the future giving themselves up to whumper because that’s the best ending they can get.

A whumpee who finally broke down and provided the information whumper wanted but is now being disposed of.

A human whumpee with an alien caretaker (who maybe doesn’t know how to care for a human.)

Gonna go for a couple quick blurps this afternoon, lmk if you like something and want me to expand on it!

TW: torture reference, restraints, gun, possible main character death, open ending

Whumpee sobbed as the masked man finished writing in their notebook.

They had given up. After weeks of torture, they had given Whumper the information.

And they hate themself for it.

But at least the pain would stop. They tried to take comfort in that, sagging in the chair they were tied to.

No more pain. No more suffering. No more-

"Get rid of them."

Whumper's order made their head snap up, confusion in their teary gaze.

Then, one of their henchmen started towards them, taking the pistol from their belt, and-

Oh. Oh.

Whumped shook their head as they finally understood. "No, no, wait! I-I gave you what you wanted, you said it w-would be done!"

"It will," Whumper said casually, turning to leave the room as henchmen approached. "You gave us what we want, so we don't need you anymore. We're done."

"But-"

"Goodbye, Whumpee."

The door swung shut.
