Target hadn't been his most preferred store, but it was growing on him more and more these days. His friend had gone on and on and on about how it was way better and always had deals, and he gave it a shot. So now, once in a while, he shopped at Target more than other stores. Plus they did tend to have some cool things in there if he let himself get distracted and look around more than he should.

Today had been his shop for dinner groceries and some drinks. He was getting all the taco ingredients and stuff for sides as well.

Connor hadn't really expected to run into anyone else while he shopped; didn't seem like he usually did when he was only in there for short periods of time. But as he picked something up to look at it, he noticed the individual standing there and it took him a second before he realized it was a friend. "Hey! How's everything going? Haven't seen you in a few days...."

The music was loud, and that didn't bother him at all. Honestly his friends were lucky that he came out tonight. He had so much to unpack yet. Which sucked because he had been putting it off since he returned to town. But his friends wanted him to hang out, so here he was. That was when he noticed it, it seemed like some asshole was bothering that person that bar. Maybe Lucas should have thought twice but he didn't. Instead he moved over to the bar to stand in between them, looking at the person who seemed to need some help. "Hey, is this asshole bothering you?" He said gesturing towards the guy that seemed to be bothering the person. Naturally he would go along with whatever the other person wanted. Fake boyfriend or friend, whatever it was.

It was rather late,or rather early, midnight had long come and gone and it was raining. The Waterfront was quiet- the restaurant long emptied and cleaned. He'd stayed behind to work on a recipe that he just couldn't perfect. He'd finally forced himself to give up for the night and try again tomorrow with a clear head but he wasn't ready to head home yet. Instead he was sat under the covering, his back against the doors just watching the rain on the pavement, taking in the warm air, the warm rain and the sight of the stormy weather. It was peaceful watching the odd car or person that had been caught in the rain. Times like this, even with his frustration it was hard not to admire the beauty of it all.

It took him a moment to realize he wasn’t alone when somebody stood in front of him. “Yes?” He asked, looking up to try and see who it was though they were in shadow.
