"That sounds about right, that tends to happen sometimes." he said with a small smile. It was nice running into people sometimes, and other times not so much. This time however, he'd seen someone who he wouldn't mind seeing more of. Especially because he was Gabby's cousin. "Work is a busy busy place these days." Connor shrugged and picked up something to look at before settling it back down into it's place again.
Looking up at him again he sighed softly, "Gabby and the girls are doing well. They've been doing girl things." he chuckled. "But not, seriously, all is well with Gabby and the girls." His brow raised a bit at the mention of coming for dinner; not about it being his treat, but the fact that they were trying some new items on the menu. "Oh?" he asked, intrigued. "We will have to stop by in the next couple of days, I'd love to try out some new items and give some feedback." He looked over at his cart, and then sighed once again. "Speaking of dinner though, you want to help me look for some stuff? We are having tacos and if I come home with the wrong stuff.... well, I know it's gonna be a whole thing. I know I have a few of the ingredients right, but if you want to help me find a few more or at least better ones?" It was a long shot; he probably had other things to do. But all he could do was ask.
Target wasn't Marco's favorite place to shop but it was nice to be able to get any basic toiletries or home supplies that he may need. He did try to keep himself on task though because there was such a variety that if he wasn't careful he'd end up with a new waste basket, water bottle and shelf organizer. All that he didn't need.
Marco was surprised to hear someone speaking to him but he looked up, smiling when he saw that it was his cousin Gabby's husband. "Too long, I know. The Waterfront is keeping me pretty busy these days." He mused, trying not to think about the extra time he spent there with Vicki. "How are things with you? Gabby and the kids are doing well? I assume I would have heard if not." He let out a small chuckle. "You and Gabby have to come to The Waterfront for dinner, my treat. We are trying out some new menu items. I could use the feedback."

He wasn't exactly trying to act like they were friends, but he was being friendly. Connor was by nature a bit of a friendly guy, he didn't really like being anything other. Though he guessed it didn't matter much if someone thought so, because maybe at some point some of those people would become friends or already were....
He only had a few more things to find before his grocery trip was done, but running into people hadn't been what he had gone for in the first place... but it was what it was.
That was beside the fact though and he didn't pay it any mind. Setting the drink into the cart, Connor looked up again at the man. "I don't think we really were," he said before nodding and speaking once more. "I'm Connor. Gabby's husband." he said, as though it would make any difference.
Why was here at Target? Well these lovely high powered, soccer mom types well they needed pick me ups with everything that they did. And well apparently Target was the place to meet at. Which was fine and if the police asked him, he could just say he was doing something shopping or something. It was crazy that he already had clients even after being here for a month or so. Target was in fact an interesting store though from what he had seen so far, not exactly his cup of tea more like middle age white people stuff. But he also found it funny.
After he was finished doing some business, that was when he heard the other male's voice. Glancing over at him, he recognized him as Gabriella Lopez's husband. Of course he knew of everyone that was in the Lopez family, considering the business that he had with them. Well with Diego and Camila anyways. So naturally he had looked into every family member because Diego and Camila owed him a lot of money. "Hey, I don't think we were properly introduced when we bumped into each other at Taco's N Stuff. I'm Javier, and you are?" That was the last time he had seen this man and he was acting like they were friends? This was going to be interesting.

Target hadn't been his most preferred store, but it was growing on him more and more these days. His friend had gone on and on and on about how it was way better and always had deals, and he gave it a shot. So now, once in a while, he shopped at Target more than other stores. Plus they did tend to have some cool things in there if he let himself get distracted and look around more than he should.
Today had been his shop for dinner groceries and some drinks. He was getting all the taco ingredients and stuff for sides as well.
Connor hadn't really expected to run into anyone else while he shopped; didn't seem like he usually did when he was only in there for short periods of time. But as he picked something up to look at it, he noticed the individual standing there and it took him a second before he realized it was a friend. "Hey! How's everything going? Haven't seen you in a few days...."
