☆ "I'm kinda dumb" - Rottmnt x Bee and Puppycat - Part 1 ☆

A short little comic based on a scene from "Bird Friend", which is one of my favorite Bee and Puppycat scenes and also one of m favorite episodes!! It's also incredibly convenient that we just had both the 5th anniversary of rottmnt AND the 10th anniversary of Bee and Puppycat. I never make stuff in comic format so this is all vry new to me but I very much did this for myself bcus these two shows mean the world to me!!

And yea! There is a little bit of context that i had in mind for this!! I'm !! Copying it from my instagram and placing it under the cut!!

It is noticeable that the other turtles don't really see the purple dragons as a threat as much as Donnie does. I have a feeling he probably wasn't completely truthful about his struggles with them, since he likely feels like he caused his family more problems than they already had just because he wanted to join a little highschool club (we see in the show that Leo only sees them as nothing more than that). So during weeks or months, he spent lots of time in his lab, mostly focusing on fixing his tech and make it impossible to hack and hijack, barely spending any time outside of his lab, while nobody else really knew what he was doing or if he was even resting or eating properly. Knowing he'll just hurt himself if he keeps this up, they eventually confront him and he of course gets defensive and runs off to his lab. Raph asks the others to step back and let him go speak to him, which p much leads to this!!

A few times, I've shared my issues with Cat and Ladybug being yin-yang before, and I also wish we had a reason why these specific 7 miraculous are grouped together; today I had a thought that helps with both.

That for the 7, it cycles through who the wish granters are. Maybe through the lunar years, like it's Cat and Ladybug for one year, then Peafowl and Fox, and then Butterfly with either Bee or Turtle.

The 7th could be the neutral one, mediating between pairs in time of conflict, and could help undo a wish that was made prior.

So this can keep LB/Cat as a yin-yang pair granting wishes, but also elevate the other 5 and their significance, and just add a little more on why these 7 are grouped together, and shake up other pairs that can be tied to yin-yang.

Additionally this set up can play into yin-yang existing in various ways (like existing in harmonious duality while others are conflicting forces that balance each other out) and in Wu Xing's theme of cycles and change.

It's also a nice set up to safe guard for wish making having a limited window of time for a specific pair to make a wish.

And could potentially make Fu less of an idiot, either having Ladybug and Cat just don't make the wish, and Gabriel is running on limited translation so he thinks it's them but it's a different pair OR Fu released them as their window for wish granting is near an end, which, could you imagine that when Gabriel got them in s5, his chance to make the wish had come and gone, and now he needs Fox/Peafowl, the latter of which he gave away and is now off in London.

But it's just a little thought, especially as I do just like to shake things up with canon, and I do have a fondness of thinking of other pairs that could exist for yin-yang, one of my favs to explore was Fox/Peafowl as a pair.

But yeah, I thought it could've been a neat idea for the 7 and why they're together, and be a way to elevate the 5 more.

4. Black Cat! Marinette: Lady Noire: Pent up Destruction can be dangerous especially for a rule follower who’s been stuck being perfect

5. Mouse! Marinette: Multimouse: She may be small but she can give you quite a scare when she divides and conquers.

6. Peacock! Marinette: Bleu Celine: A Goddess in human flesh her Sentimonster’s seem like a dream but beware for they are not all they seem.

7. Butterfly! Marinette: Titania: Light as a butterfly, become her champion be blessed by her gift.

These kwami swaps are definitely going to appear in Timey Wimey soon, we’re getting really close to Marinette’s reveal. I’ll also be posting the other half of this which the Chinese zodiac part of the Miracle Box, yep that’s right my girl is pulling a Kwamibuster on the corrupted hero’s but with a twist. Anywho, updated their designs and was just trying to edit the post but accidentally deleted it so whoops.

So cleaned up their designs and thought might as well post more.
