It finally happened. It took five years and many surgeries as well as the making of my disappearance as a person. This was to be my finally connection with my wife as she made me ready to be shipped to a nearby department store to begin my existence as an inanimate object. For my remaining time left on the planet I would be a manufactured product, a female mannequin with the purpose of modeling fashions to the human women to enjoy and get their husbands and boyfriends to buy for them. Perhaps my wife's new husband will buy her something I am wearing.

I've always found this article about the in-world phenomenon of "command-led communication" super interesting:

When Hank cuts in front of Connor, there's no "excuse me" or attempt to walk around him first; he simply turns and starts moving with the expectation that Connor will step back and let Hank through.

Here, Markus really has to step back. Not just to avoid being bumped into by the NPC, but also to keep from getting whacked in the face by the door. He pushes by Markus with no hesitation.

god when i saw this i got so sad. it's all the same no matter if you try to struggle or not,, the ending remark of "why did he lie?" made me let out a sad noise. this is just,, wonderful writing. i am depressed.

My fav thing about TAZ is that any aspect out of context sounds fucking bonkers.

Like, in the balance finale there's a scene in which Garfield (who is very specifically never described visually bc most people imagine him as like. The Lasagna Cat. Who in this universe is the most powerful warlock in the realm and also has a hobby of cloning people, which is great for the one character that got forced into haunting a mannequin) is summoned by an alien spaceship that runs on the power of friendship so he could beat up some flashing balls. In D&D.

And that was just. Such a normal scene in the narrative. No one blinked an eye. I would like to bow down to Griffins clear unmatched talent for making me feel such big emotions over ridiculous shit like a goddamned umbrella or a regular ass pair of jeans or the idea of a taco recipe.

Sometimes my desire for freakish transformation and hyper-objectification goes to such amazing places. I have thought of surgically being transformed into a store mannequin often and what that would entail mentally and physically and what the remainder of my existence would be like. I find it intoxicating.

The fic feels like it’s actually working rn. It’s not working well, but it’s working and that’s enough.

So far I got Tonia being a lovely kitty, the mannequins being helpful, 32 less spelling errors out of an infinite amount, Desmond being the Most Confused Man In The CU, and more than a couple headcanons of mine that sorta change the game a bit, but it’s whatever.

I’m still not happy with it, I’ve got so much more fixing upping to do and stuff, but I’m becoming more hopeful, at least :D.

I’ve also got a list of little things that I’ve noticed, and some random voicelines and stuff. AR has a lot to say, apparently, lol. I’ll probably post some of the stuff I got sometime.
