Reveal Your Bollywood Glow: Unveiling Celebrity-Inspired Skincare Secrets.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This blog is going to be all about Indian & bollywood inspired products and skincare tips. If you also want a blog separately about Indian natural and authentic skincare or hair care I'll surely make it. 🫶
Know Your Skin Type : Identify your skin type - whether it's oily, dry, combination, or sensitive - to tailor your skincare routine effectively.
Cleanse Like a Star : Use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil or Neutrogena to remove dirt and makeup and a oil cleaner is a must if you wear makeup daily. Opt for micellar water for a quick and effective cleanse on busy days. (But I don't really recommend it).
Exfoliate for Radiance : Incorporate a mild exfoliator like St. Ives Apricot Scrub or The Body Shop's Vitamin C Glow-Revealing Liquid Peel to slough off dead skin cells and reveal glowing skin. And my personal favorite coffee scrub from The Bombay shaving company. Don't exfoliate more than twice a week.
Hydration Is Key : Use a hydrating toner such as Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray for an instant boost of hydration or toner + mist from pilgrim works like magic (my fav 😭).
Targeted Treatments : Include a serum with ingredients like hyaluronic acid (for hydration) or vitamin C (for hyperpigmentation) if you are under 17 or 18 like me don't use vitamin c or if you want to use in very less %, I use 2% kojic acid for my uneven skin tone from pilgrim, it's very begniner friendly. (Always consult a dermatologist for your skincare don't go around seeing videos on insta and YouTube believing them). I recommend Minimalist if you want chemical bases serums.
If you are above 23 or 25 Incorporate a retinol-based cream like RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream for anti-aging benefits. (Got this tip from mumma for y'all 😭✨️)
Sun Protection Essentials : Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, such as La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Fluid, to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. More affordable and effective sunscreens from brands — dot and key, aqualogica, Dr. Seth and wish care.
Overnight Nourishment: Use a hydrating overnight mask like Laneige Water Sleeping Mask to replenish moisture while you sleep. Incorporate a facial oil like The Ordinary's Rose Hip Seed Oil for added nourishment and radiance.
DIY Treatments Inspired by Bollywood:
- Try a turmeric, gram flour and yogurt face mask inspired by Priyanka Chopra for glowing skin.
- Use aloe vera gel like Deepika Padukone for its soothing and hydrating properties. (MY fav bolly actress btw 😭❤️)
Lifestyle Tips for Healthy Skin : Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day people are not stupid that they are going around telling you to drink water, IT'S A MUST!. Incorporate antioxidant-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and green tea into your diet for overall skin health.
Some of my fav brands (mostly available in india) : dot and key, Foxtale, pilgrim, minimalist, st. Botanica, organic harvest and aqualogica!
Fav brand released by a bollywood actress: Hyphen by Kriti Sanon, their lip balm can even beat Rhode's lip balm istg- and their sunscreen 🔛🔝.
Channel your inner Bollywood diva and achieve a radiant, flawless skin with these skincare tips and product recommendations. Let your skin glow like a star!

Turmeric Export from India to USA: A Comprehensive Guide for 2024 - Eurosun Global
India is the world’s largest producer and exporter of turmeric, and the demand for this golden spice in the USA continues to rise. Whether used in culinary, medicinal, or cosmetic industries, turmeric’s health benefits are driving its popularity. For businesses looking to tap into this lucrative market, understanding the dynamics of turmeric export from India to USA is essential.
Tumblr media
Turmeric Export Price from India: What Influences It?
The turmeric export price from India depends on several factors, including the quality of the turmeric, curcumin content, and processing methods. Higher curcumin content results in better pricing, while the form of turmeric—whole, powdered, or organic—also plays a role. Market conditions, such as global demand and currency fluctuations, impact pricing trends for 2024. Staying updated on these factors helps exporters remain competitive.
Leading Turmeric Manufacturers in India
When considering turmeric manufacturers in India, regions like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra stand out as major producers of high-quality turmeric. These manufacturers follow strict standards for harvesting, processing, and packaging to meet international requirements. Companies like Eurosun Global are well-known for supplying high-quality turmeric to global markets, ensuring that their product meets both organic and food safety certifications.
Top Turmeric Suppliers in India
India has a vast network of turmeric suppliers in India, offering a range of turmeric products, from raw turmeric roots to finely ground turmeric powder. These suppliers are critical in ensuring the steady flow of turmeric to international markets, including the USA. Many suppliers also offer additional services like export documentation, ensuring compliance with international standards such as USDA Organic and FDA approvals.
How Turmeric Manufacturers Can Export to the USA
For any turmeric manufacturer from India looking to export turmeric to the USA, it’s crucial to understand the legal framework. Compliance with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and ensuring all export documentation (like FSSAI certification and Certificate of Origin) is in place is critical. Organic certification is also highly sought after in the USA, especially in health-conscious markets.
Growing Opportunities for Turmeric Exporters
The USA's growing demand for health supplements and natural remedies presents a golden opportunity for any turmeric exporter from India. Turmeric's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties make it a popular ingredient in supplements, beauty products, and functional foods. By focusing on organic and sustainably sourced turmeric, exporters can tap into a niche but highly lucrative market.
The Role of Turmeric Wholesalers in the Supply Chain
As a turmeric wholesaler from India, maintaining strong relationships with US-based retailers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms is crucial. Wholesalers often deal in bulk turmeric, providing competitive pricing to businesses in the USA. By offering a variety of turmeric products like organic and conventional, wholesalers can meet the diverse demands of US buyers, ensuring their turmeric stands out in the global market.
Final Thoughts
The turmeric export from India to USA is poised for growth in 2024, driven by increasing demand for natural and organic products. With the right knowledge, strategic partnerships, and adherence to regulatory standards, Indian turmeric exporters can thrive in the US market. Whether you're a manufacturer, supplier, or wholesaler, opportunities in this sector are vast, making now the perfect time to explore turmeric export possibilities.

Every Prepper should set goals and create short-term and long-term plans to be ready for any eventuality. The SurvivalBlog editors will be sharing their weekly prep activities and plans for the next week. These include gear purchases and healthcare, as well as gardening, bug out bags fine-tuning and food storage. This is similar to the Retreat Owner Profiles but written in increments and in details throughout the year. We welcome your success stories and wisdom to be shared in e-mails. Many of these - or excerpts thereof - are posted in this column, the Odds ‘n Sods column, and the Snippets section. Let's get busy and be prepared! Jim Reports: I have been concentrating my indoor work because of the snow on the ground and the temperatures in the 20s. I have been focusing on the interior of the workshop now that the wall insulation has been completed. It's a low-budget alternative to plywood that has a random pattern that looks almost like it was created by Salvador Dali. Although it is stronger than particleboard, it is less expensive than plywood. It will work well for me, as most of the area will be covered with Masonite pegboard. It is a utilitarian building and not a contest. My Inner Scotsman has advised me to save a lot of scrap lumber, ranging from 2'' to 6-foot widths, to make the OSB's "nailer" backing boards. My Inner Scotsman has also recommended that I work in the shop without running a heater. It is usually around 30 degrees. Just a thick coat, insulated boots, and a cap are all I need to keep me warm. I have a lot of fun in three to five hour sessions. If the temperature inside the shop drops below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, I may consider turning on a small space heater. Outdoors, I adjusted a stock tank heater as well as a heat tape. I did some snowplowing. After the next storm, plowing will not begin in earnest. I have confirmed that the Western brand plow works properly. Now, let's move on to Lily Avalanche Lilily Reports: Dear Readers This week's weather was cloudy and snowy at the beginning of this week. Between Sunday night and Monday night, we received four inches of fresh snow. The temperatures plummeted to the single digits, like a rock. Brrr. It's unbelievable how November begins so early. To protect them from the severe cold this week, I brought seven trays of greens from my greenhouse into my house. I brought in Winter lettuce and spinach, Swiss Chard, Beans, and two trays with seeds that are barely sprouting: Water Cresss and Thyme. In the greenhouse, I also covered many trays with clear plastic totes. Then I placed plastic hoops over the plastic. There are three layers of plastic surrounding them. According to Eliot Coleman's book "Four Season Harvest", each layer warms you up by one degree. They may not die, but they will continue to grow throughout the winter. In late February, their growth will resume and give us early greens. After the cold weather had passed, I went outside to inspect everything in the greenhouse. Even under all those layers, the cold-weather hardy greens were all frozen and slightly droopy. They are still viable, just in a dormant form. The few potatoes and peppers that I left were dead, however, are still alive. They will soon be taken out of the greenhouse. In preparation for spring planting, I plan to fill up many planter seedling containers. Although I may be optimistic, and maybe even silly, I did plant three Mango seeds, ginger roots, and turmeric in small pots. I put them on our kitchen windowsill. If they do not grow in our warm Great Room this winter, I will plant them in the greenhouse the following summer. Then they will return to the house the next winter. They will be kept at a manageable size. I also began to water-root a few Avocado seeds. I cleaned the Hen House. I frozen the last tomatoes that had ripened in my house. I also kept seeds from different varieties of tomatoes. I placed seeds I had been drying in envelopes:
butternut squash, spaghetti squash, Hubbard pumpkin, Delicata squash, Butternut squash red and yellow onions, more Hungarian bell pepper, red sweet pepper and Paste/Cherokee. Miss Violet was presented with her medical supplies for career this week. They have been shared with us and we have discussed their use and potential applications. This week I cooked one meal on the wood stove, and another Borsht soup. I also made a white loaf of bread for my family, and baked it in a cast-iron pan in the wood stove's oven. All reports said it was delicious and baked beautifully. Although I don't eat bread anymore, I did taste it to ensure that I was getting an honest review. It was delicious. Cross Country skiing was not possible after the snowstorm. The snow was too thick and wet on my skis. Grrr! It was the middle of the week when a cold front moved in. The snow was so soft and cold that it made Cross Country skiing possible. I did some loops around the ranch. Nice! In the last three weeks Miss Violet and myself have been very disciplined about lifting weights, sitting ups, and stretching. I discovered the benefits of stretch bands and bought two sets. They are very useful and I have already noticed an improvement in my muscle strength. Because the weather has turned colder, my life has slowed down. I'm resuming scripture study and working my way through the book Isaiah in Hebrew. We wish you all a blessed and safe week. - Avalanche Lily, Rawles o o o Please share your successes and wisdom with us by sending e-mails. We will publish them in the "Snippets” column next week. We would love to hear from your.

It’s easy to buy furniture and home decor that is made from sustainable materials. Many companies are making products with non-toxic finishes, renewable resources, organic fabrics, and more. Going green doesn’t have to cost you more money or take more time. With these tips, you can find eco-friendly furniture that fits your style and budget. ^END Think About Your Purchasing Habits People often make impulsive furniture purchases without thinking about the long-term impact of their decisions. When you’re shopping for furniture, you want to make sure your choices are durable and sustainable. Before you make a purchase, ask yourself these questions: What is the life expectancy of the product? Does it have the potential to be repaired or re-purposed? Are the materials used in this product toxic? If you’re not sure, it’s a good idea to do a little research before you buy. Eco-Friendly Materials Any type of wood - bamboo, cork, or rattan - is a renewable resource, but other materials like steel, concrete, and leather also have eco-friendly options. The most eco-friendly materials are those that minimize your carbon footprint and don’t release harmful toxins into the environment. Here are some materials to look for when shopping for eco-friendly furniture and home decor: Organic Fabrics: Fabrics that are made from organic materials are safe for you and your family. You’ll want to look for items made with organic cotton, linen, and hemp. Natural Dyes: Instead of using synthetic dyes, many eco-friendly manufacturers use natural dyes. These dyes use non-toxic materials like turmeric, beets, and coffee. Non-toxic Finishes: Most furniture is finished with a lacquer or stain to give it a beautiful, glossy look. But many stains contain toxic chemicals that aren’t safe for you or the environment. Look for furniture that has a non-toxic finish. Sustainable Furniture Brands Many companies have made a commitment to producing eco-friendly furniture. Here are some of the top sustainable furniture brands on the market:  Green Furniture: Green Furniture uses sustainable materials like hemp and flax and non-toxic finishes. They also offer a line of eco-friendly office furniture. Green couch: Green Couch Furniture uses organic and recycled materials to make indoor and outdoor furniture. EcoFabric: EcoFabric specializes in eco-friendly furniture made with organic fabrics.  Eco Home: Eco Home makes organic cotton and linen curtains, bedding, and furniture. Repurposing Old Items If you want a unique look but don’t want to spend money on new items, repurpose old or discarded furniture. You can use hardware and paint to transform an old, broken piece of furniture into something new. You can also use repurposed materials to make one-of-a-kind home decor. For example, you can make a lamp from a mason jar or an end table from wooden crates. Sustainable Building Materials for Furniture Wood is one of the most popular building materials for furniture. However, the harvesting and production of wood furniture have a huge impact on the environment. Here are some sustainable furniture building materials that have a low impact on the environment. Cork: Cork is made from the bark of a cork oak tree. When the bark is harvested, it regenerates, so harvesting cork doesn’t significantly impact the number of trees. Hemp: Hemp has a very low impact on the environment. It grows in many different climates, and harvesting it doesn’t require chemicals or pesticides. Wool: Wool is a sustainable material that is often used in high-end furniture because it is easy to clean and naturally repels dust mites. Be Socially Responsible When you shop for furniture, look for companies that are socially responsible. Sustainable practices and socially responsible business models go hand-in-hand. When you buy furniture from a socially responsible company, you know that your money is going towards the betterment of society. If you want to buy a new couch, check out Your Local Furniture Store.
They are a site that connects you with local furniture stores. When you buy from a local retailer, you’re not only getting a great deal, but you are also helping your community thrive. Conclusion Buying eco-friendly furniture isn’t just a great way to reduce your environmental impact. It can also save you money. Many sustainable materials are less expensive than their synthetic counterparts. And, many sustainable materials are more durable, so you’ll get more use out of your furniture. If you’ve been thinking about making the switch to eco-friendly furniture, now is a perfect time. With these tips, you can find eco-friendly furniture that fits your style and budget.

For a long time, it seemed like sodas were increasingly unpopular, with focus on all the sugar and other additives. But over the last few years, there has been a boom in the market—but these sodas are different.
Among one of the newest options is Mayawell, which launched in 2020 with a curated range of sodas that aren’t your average colas and lemon-lime fizzy drinks. Flavors include raspberry cucumber with black currant, strawberry ginger with hibiscus, and pineapple mango with turmeric. Each can has less than four grams of sugar and 40 calories per serving, packing five grams of fiber in as well. The sodas are sweetened with organic, hand-harvested Active Agave, which the company says improves digestion while bolstering the immune system and metabolism.
The brand sells direct-to-consumer via its website, in select stores, and Amazon. And the Austin-based company says it supports indigenous Mexican communities and reforestation with every purchase.
Fortune recently spoke with cofounder Vicente Reyes and about the first year in business, the competitive soda startup scene, and plans for the future.
The following interview has been condensed and lightly edited for clarity.
Fortune: Can you share a bit about your professional background prior to launching Mayawell?
Reyes: Prior to launching Mayawell, I was a pioneer in the mezcal industry. People called me crazy when I first started talking about how mezcal could compete with tequila. I started my brand El Señorio in 1999 and sold it to a strategic partner in 2010. After that, I turned my focus to the health and wellness benefits of agave. I feel like my life’s mission is to support indigenous communities around Oaxaca and empower them in whatever way that I can.
What inspired you to launch Mayawell? What makes it stand out in the growing crop of new sodas on the market?
Reyes: Interestingly, Oliver and I were both inspired by the goddess of the agave, Mayahuel. She is an important symbol of life and vitality in pre-Hispanic cultures, and I was inspired to create a sustainable agave-based product that promoted wellness. I spent a little over six years working with a team of researchers and scientists to develop our unique Active Agave and prove out its efficacy in retaining healthy gut bacteria.
We spent a week in New York City discussing our shared passions and our belief that prebiotics would play an important role in gut health for modern customers. At the end of that first week, we had decided to partner together and found the company.
Several brands on the market are touting prebiotic benefits with no real science behind them and, in some cases, zero prebiotic fiber present in their products. What makes Mayawell unique is that we have six years of scientific research that shows that our Active Agave does what we say it does: retain healthy gut bacteria to improve overall gut health. Beyond that, we have an incredible social impact program in Oaxaca helmed by me through which we support indigenous communities with agave cultivation, crop reforestation, and the repurposing of agave fibers into woven materials. Every purchase helps support those initiatives.
Tumblr media
A key component of Mayawell’s brand is that this soda is a healthier option. What was your research and development process like for coming up with recipes? What kind of ingredients did you test?
Reyes: We have the incredible fortune of working with one of the best product developers in the world, and we work collaboratively with her to identify flavor profiles that we believe would be interesting to customers. From there, we narrow in on our favorites and decide as a team which flavors we believe will resonate best in the market.
From the outset, we were inspired by the idea of drinking shrubs that date back to the 15th century, consumed as much for their digestive benefit as for refreshment. At the same time, we wanted to incorporate certain flavors from Mexico while developing products that appealed to a wide audience. After all, our thesis is that modern sodas can be both healthy and flavorful, so we wanted to develop products that are easy drinking and delicious for all to enjoy.
For a long time—at least over the last decade—it seemed like many consumers were starting to turn away from familiar soda brands, mainly due to health concerns. What do you think has changed in the last couple of years, and do you think this trend will continue?
Reyes: At Mayawell, we offer a product that has only one teaspoon of sugar while delivering 20% of the daily recommended value of fiber in every can. Our products are both low glycemic index and low in fructose, making them a great option for people with wide ranging dietary requirements. Customers are showing every indication that they’re looking for products that offer both flavor and function, and we’re excited by the opportunity to play a big role in this emergent category moving forward.
Mayawell says it supports indigenous Mexican communities and reforestation with every purchase. Can you explain more about the inspiration for this program as well as breakdown how those purchase proceeds are donated?
Reyes: As a native of Oaxaca, it is important to me that indigenous communities who have such incredible knowledge of our land and, more specifically, of agave are treated fairly and equitably. Our desire is to build a company that helps to create a positive impact with our agave sourcing partners, with an acute focus in Oaxaca.
Over the past 20 years, I have developed strong relationships with local communities that Mayawell partners with through my nonprofit organization, Hermano Maguey. Together we provide local communities with access to an agave seed bank, native plant species for reforestation, and resources to cultivate agave crops for profitable export. In sourcing agave from our partners and reinvesting 2% of our profits into these programs, we are working to make a meaningful impact in Oaxaca.

[ID: a 10 by 12 meter vegetable garden with plots of potatoes, corn, tomatoes, and cucumbers visible. There is a field and small barn in the distance.]
The difference in the garden from the first of June to the middle of July is just crazy. The potatoes are as tall as they’re going to get and ready to die back; hopefully there’s a lot of yummy potato activity going on underground. The cucumbers have started producing and they’re full of bees pollinating; ditto the tomatoes and various beans. We have a hive of wild bees living in the porch, and they keep very busy without ever having to fly more than a few meters.
The onions are not a ‘keeping’ variety, so we will have to harvest all of them and chop/freeze them soon. If we don’t they’ll start rotting, which is a really sad waste. When we plant candy onions they will get that dry, papery skin around them and keep in cool storage for months without going bad.

The bee balm in the flower beds is not as big or abundant this year. There are a few, though, and the hummingbirds and sphinx moths love them.
Tumblr media
Every now and then my husband gets a pickling urge, and makes huge jars of pickles. These jars have some medium-sized cukes and a bunch of the onions in a sour dill brine. It’ll be a few weeks until we can enjoy them. I’d better buy lots of antacids.
[ID: Four big, half-gallon jars of cucumbers and onions in a yellowish pickle brine. The color comes from turmeric, it makes everything it touches bright yellow.]

Essential Oils, Their Usage, Market and Supply Dynamics
Hundreds of essential oils have been innovated and produced across the world since ancient times. They are useful in contemporary times as well. Different essential oils have a unique aroma, hue, and properties. The beauty, food & beverages, pharmaceutical, and perfumery industries use them extensively as ingredients in their products according to their characteristics. The essential oils do not add only fragrance but also color and medicinal value to the end products. Only 2% to 3% of the final product content is essential oil. However, the aggregate requirement of the essential oils in final products is substantial worldwide, and thus, it makes the essential oil market lucrative.
Tumblr media
The global essential oil market was valued at $18.6 billion in 2020. It is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7.5% during the next five years and cross the $25 billion mark by 2025. Several Essential Oil Suppliers operate across the world to serve customers. Their business depends on the quality of packaging, shipping arrangements, and the marketing of the product. Some essential oils are available in particular regions, but their demand is global. In such scenarios, the customer service and marketing, packaging & shipping practices of the Essential Oil Manufacturers become vital for customers.
Diverse industries using essential oils as raw materials demand pure essential oils that do not contain synthetic colors, fragrances, and chemicals. They want 100% natural plant-based oils to add to their products. Different organizations have laid down the guidelines and regulations for growing, harvesting, and processing aromatic flowers and plants in Europe and America. UNIDO(United Nations Industrial Development Organisations) and  FAO(Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations) regulate and control post-harvest operations of essential oils, spices, and herbs.  The rising consciousness about using natural & organic products and the organic farming movement has also propelled the market growth, making Pure Essential Oils Bulk Wholesale easily available in every part of the world.
The personal care (cosmetic, spa centers, toiletries & perfumery) industry is a prominent industry using essential oils as ingredients in their end output. The oils help enhance the scent and color of the products. They are also good at treating skin problems such as stretch marks, burns, scars, wrinkles, and acne. Orange, Lemon balm, Tea tree, Turmeric, and floral essential oils are the most sought-after essential oils in this industry. Besides, certain essential oils promote dental health, so they are used in toothpaste and mouthwashes.
The second leading industry making use of essential oils is Food & Beverages. Consumers are more inclined towards safe, natural, and least processed foods, and they increasingly ask for food & beverage items that contain minimum artificial flavors or preservatives. The essential oils possess antimicrobial properties that help preserve F & B items for a long time, making them a popular choice of the manufacturers. The cleaning and Medical industries have also witnessed the growth in the application of essential oils in their products because of their tested natural properties. The cleaning industry deploys citric essential oils such as lemongrass, lemon balm, lemon, and herbaceous mosquito repellent essential oils such as catnip, citronella, and rosemary.
Tumblr media
Spearheading manufacturers have developed multi-level marketing strategies to reach more and more customers. They appoint Pure Essential Oils to bulk wholesale - independent distributors by offering attractive compensation plans and incentives. The global essential oil market is fragmented with the presence of a substantial number of essential oil suppliers over multiple parts of the world. Europe and North America regions dominate the world market in terms of revenue and number of industry participants. However, the Asia-pacific tropical region with the concentration of Essential Oil Manufacturers is making their presence noticed in the international market.
