Lupauksia tulevalle vuodelle

Ja taas selvittiin uuteen vuoteen. Huh ja huh. Vielä henki pihisee ja eteenpäin mennään. Ja koska loppua ei näy, niin miksei laiteta taas uutta listaa 2025 uudenvuoden lupauksista:

-Piirrä Eemelin tarina loppuun tän vuoden puolella. Ja lisänä, ÄLÄ aloita uutta pitempää projektia tämän vuoden puolella. Siivotaan aloitetut lelut pois ennen uuden leikin alkua.

-Viime vuonna ei päästy Tampere Kupliiseen, joten tänä vuonna vedetään revanssi. Hotla on jo varattu ja talvilomat anottu. Sinne Tampere-taloon marssitaan vikisemättä.

-Tunge sun pidemmät sarjikset jollekkin PDF zine-myyntisivulle. Ehkäbä itch.io? Leikitään että jotakuta vois jopa kiinnostaa maksaa näistä jutuista. (toki sarjikset on Tapaksessa ja Webtoonsissa ilmaseks, mutta melko varmaan kekkaan jotain lisämatskua mukaan kun kerran on maksullinen tuote) Pääasiana mulla ei ole kääriä isoja raheja, vaan opetella vähän että miten ns. tuotteen pakkaus, tekeminen ja hinnoittelu onnistuu multa.

05 February 2025 (Wednesday): The Prince of Wales, Patron, Child Bereavement UK, this morning visited a Child Bereavement UK Centre at Ashley House, Ashley Way West, Widnes, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redwood). 06 February 2025 (Thursday): The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay this afternoon visited East Scryne Farm, Carnoustie, and was received by Mr Malcolm Taylor (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Angus). His Royal Highness afterwards visited Carnoustie and Monifieth Men’s Shed, 140 Kinloch Street, Carnoustie. The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay later visited Deirdre Knight Centre, Lour Road, Forfar, Angus. * I'm not sure when William did his reception for the Blue Peter Earthshot competition at Windsor because it does not appear in the Court Circular.

That's it. That's the only public work he did the entire week.

Oh, but I'm sure you'll say that he was "working behind the scenes" on something as if none of the other working royals do that!

Let's take a look at Charles's work schedule for this past week for comparison.

03 February 2025 (Monday): The King spoke to The President of the Republic of Kenya via telephone this morning. The Rt Hon Olukemi Badenoch MP (Leader of the Opposition) was received in audience by His Majesty. The King this afternoon received the Lord Browne of Madingley upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman of the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering Foundation and the Lord Vallance of Balham upon assuming the appointment. The Lord Mandelson was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States of America. Dame Judith Weir was received by The King upon relinquishing her appointment as Master of The King’s Music. 04 February 2025 (Tuesday): The King held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning. 05 February 2025 (Wednesday): The King this morning visited the Polish Social and Cultural Association, 238-246 King Street, London W6, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), His Excellency Mr Piotr Wilczek (Ambassador from the Republic of Poland to the Court of St James’s) and the Chairman (Mr Marcin Kalinowski). His Majesty viewed an art exhibition and attended a Reception for members of the Polish community in the United Kingdom. The King, Royal Founding President, The King’s Trust, this afternoon received Ms Farah Mohamed (Chief Executive Officer, The King’s Trust Canada). The King held a Council at 4.15pm. The Rt Hon Lucy Powell MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council. The King this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Civil Service.

06 February 2025 (Thursday): Her Excellency Mrs Ximena Fuentes Torrijo was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Chile to the Court of St James’s. His Excellency Mr Juan Ernesto Snead Amarilla was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Paraguay to the Court of St James’s. Her Excellency Ms Tuot Panha was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Court of St James’s. The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan this afternoon visited His Majesty when The King presented His Majesty with the Insignia of an Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. Afterwards The King spoke to Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan via telephone to convey His Majesty’s condolences on the recent death of His Highness’s father, Prince Karim Aga Khan. The King, Royal Patron, later received senior members of the Intelligence Agencies.

07 February 2025 (Friday): The King, Royal Founding President, The King’s Foundation, and The Queen this evening attended a United Kingdom-Italy Dinner held by the Ambassador from the Italian Republic (His Excellency Mr Inigo Lambertini) in Gloucestershire to celebrate the Slow Food and Slow Fashion Movement.

So Charles's work week went like this:

Monday: ~ telephone call ~ 4 audiences Tuesday ~ Investiture Wednesday ~ 2 morning engagements ~ 2 audiences ~ council meeting ~ evening reception Thursday ~ 5 audiences ~ 1 phone call Friday ~ banquet in the evening

That's 19 different engagements by my count, and he worked every working day of the work week, i.e. five days this week. All while he is still undergoing treatment for cancer. William is 35 year younger and will only hit that high number of engagements when he's on tour outside the UK.

To actually use the words, "if Catherine and William are in the process of being prepped to be king and queen," is beyond laughable! Ed and Sophie are doing Will & Kate's jobs right now! Should we assume Ed & Sophie are going to be king & queen instead because they do all the foreign work Will & Kate should be doing? Perhaps parliament should make a change and insert Edward as heir to the throne ahead of William because Ed will actually do the work of being an heir and monarch.

"He understandably wants to make the biggest impact possible while he is king." Charles is already the greatest (non-Welsh) Prince of Wales there has ever been. William can't even match his father's work as heir to the throne, and here you are pretending that Charles could only have an impact when he became monarch. I don't think the many people Charles has helped with his organizations would agree with that.

Did the Men in Black show up and wipe your memory from three years ago? Did you forget that QEII couldn't attend many of her Jubilee events? That special considerations that had to be made whenever she did engagements or appeared in public? Everyone knew she was having problems, they just didn't publicly specify what her exact problems were beyond "mobility."

She was 96 years old, and you're pretending that she looked like a beacon of pure vitality & health when she had a giant bruise on her hand while looking extremely frail in her last public photo?

Give it up! Charles isn't dying this year. Or next year. Or even the year after that.

Mä mietin usein yhtä videota jonka joskus näin instagramissa. Siinä on sellanen mies, joka kävelee johonki ruokakauppaan ja se sanoo "Tervetuloa seuraamaan mun uutta reality sarjaa: Mitä tänään vietäisiin. Joten kommentoikaa mitä tänään vietäisiin" tai jotain sinne päin.

Mun mielestä tää olis todella hyvä konsepti. Kilpailijoille annetaan tehtäväksi pölliä jokin tietty tuote jostain tietystä kaupasta. (asiasta tietysti sovittu kaupan kanssa etukäteen) Se kuka jää kiinni putoaa. Tuotteet muuttuvat yhä vaikeammiksi, kun ohjelma etenee. (Esim. Eka jakso: omena, vika jakso: mikro) Kaikki keinot ovat sallittuja kunhan ei jää varkaudesta kiinni puolen tunnin sisällä kaupasta poistuttua. Haluttaessa ohjelmaan voitaisiin lisätä nimen mukainen Mitä tänään vietäisiin?-osio, jossa ihmiset saisivat äänestää kilpailijoille varastettavia tavaroita.

Ainoo ongelma on se, että kaupat tuskin suostuis siihen, että telkkarissa näytetään miten sieltä saa varastettua tavaraa.

Koska kaikki muut somet rupeaa olemaan liian epäeettisiä, niin tupsahdan nyt tänne Tumbriin muodikkaan my day päivityksen kanssa:

Päiväreissuni Helsinkiin Vegemessuille

Päiväni alkoi kissan oksentamisella kangaspäällysteiselle sohvalle. Ei se mitään; täytyy pyykätä huomenna.

Vastoinkäymisestä huolimatta hyppäsin junaan ja pyörin pääkaupungissa aikaa kuluttaen. Tuhlasin ensin Ounce -teekauppaan:

Kurkin myös My movie -leffadivariin, mutta valtavasta valikoimasta huolimatta Hovimäki -sarjaa ei ollut tarjolla. Sitä ei kait löydy mistään.

Kaverin kanssa sitten päästiin Vegemessuille Kaapelitehtaalle. Järjestämisestä en valittamista keksi. Kaikki sujui sujuvasti ja suosittelen lämpimästi käymään tapahtumassa kaikkia tarjolla olevia maistia nauttimassa. Siis sinne voi hyvin mennä nälkäisenä. Vaikka jokapaikassa on tarjolla vain suupaloja, niistä oikeasti täyttyy.

Kuvassa messusaalista. Osa ostettu hankalan saatavuuden takia ja osa messutarjousten. Erityisesti nostaisin esiin nuo Matit. Virolainen? tuote, jota ei vielä saa Suomesta, mutta toivottavasti saadaan täälläkin kauppojen hyllyille. Jotain sienipihviä ovat. En tiedä, mutta hyvälle maistuu!

Eleplantin tiskiltä sai voiveitsen. Se Eleplant muuten oikeasti maistuu voille. En olisi uskonut.

Ja loputkin hilut törsäsin messun jälkeen Fantasiapeleissä. Toivottavasti tämä Wika on hintansa värtti!

Tekopyhyyden huipuksi tämä sekasyöjä kävi juna-asemalla juomassa alkoholittoman oluen. Tuli tässä vahingossa aloitettua tipaton tammikuu, niin vedetään se loppuun saakka!

Nyt kun kirjoitan tätä kotona, niin kissa on minulle hyvin loukkaantunut, kun kehtasin olla koko päivän pois. No kai se vielä leppyy.
