A recipe from Stan Lee Presents: The Mighty Marvel Superheroes’ Cookbook (1977).
It’s a really basic tuna casserole. I forgot the peas and didn’t realize until just now. Whoops. Yeah - it was fine. I’m sure there are better recipes out there, but it’s tuna casserole, what are you expecting?

alright just had another baller success in the kitchen. I present:
Deconstructed Tuna Casserole That Won't Make Your Non-White Friends Give You the Judgmental Sideeye
This is the epitome of white people food, except it actually tastes good and doesn't take a goddamn hour to make in the oven. You will need:
As much pasta of macaroni or bowtie shape as you desire (You CAN do spaghetti or alfredo but like. why. that's so messy)
89c can of grocery store brand tuna IN WATER.
an entire goddamn brick of cream cheese (Most recipes call for condensed soup. Cheap condensed soup sucks ass. this is better)
Fistful of sharp cheddar
however much pre-grated parmesan you feel like
milk
onion powder
garlic powder
thyme powder
celery seed
fresh ground black pepper
spoonful chicken bouillon
paprika (not too much)
however many frozen peas you want to round out your nutrition
Directions:
cook pasta according to instructions. I prefer not to salt it because the sauce is very salty
Drain tuna a moderate amount. A little liquid left is okay
Put literally everything else in a saucepan together at the same time
Go heavy on the pepper and onion, lighter on everything else. Or do whatever you want I'm not your dad. Don't add anise.
You'll want enough milk to cover the entire goddamn brick of cream cheese in a medium size saucepan
heat on medium while pasta cooks, stirring constantly
milk burns if left unattended
cook until peas are soft and cream cheese is completely melted and incorporated
if sauce is too thick: add some pasta water
if sauce is too thin: add more cheddar or parmesan, or cook longer to reduce down
plate pasta with sauce
This is like $5 for two+ days' worth of food, and the more you cook at home, the less you need to be concerned about the fat and salt content. I promise that even cooking with An Entire Goddamn Brick of Cream Cheese, it balances out if you're not eating fast food every day. also it tastes good

Mom's Tuna Casserole Recipe
What you need:
•3 cans of tuna (Tuna in water works better)
•Package of pasta any kind, but we use vegetable colored pasta
•1 large can cream of chicken soup or 2 small cans
•Shredded cheese of your choosing.
How to make:
Start boiling that Pasta baby, follow the instructions on the pasta box. While your past is making start warming up Cream Of Chicken Soup. Open and DRAIN the Tuna cans then add them into a large bowl, then once the cream of chicken soup is warm add most of it in, if you like it really creamy add all of it. Once your Pasta is done add that into the bowl with the Tuna and Soup. I usually add peper and salt also but thats up to you and I never use all of pasta but we eat the rest by itself. Then put in a 9x9 pan. AND SPRAY YOUR PAN. Layer half pasta, soup and tuna mix into your pan then add a layer of cheese on top. Then repeat the process and use the rest of pasta, soup and tuna mixture. Add cheese on top of that baby, we like lots of cheese. Put in 350°F oven for like 30 minutes. It just needs to heat up and melt cheese. And BAM Tuna Casserole for a week!

my mom’s tuna casserole (recreation)
cooked egg noodles, 1 can of cream of celery, 1/2 cup of milk, 2 cans of tuna, and a little grated cheese on top, baked for 20 minutes at 350°.
she wanted my brother and me to not be afraid of dishes like casseroles, and for them to be filled with things that we like!

Tuna casserole! 🐟 🧀
I was a bit concerned this wouldn't turn out cause I didn't have an ingredient i normally use to make this. Velveeta came in clutch though and it was absolutely delicious. 🤤
Very excited about the leftovers today.

This is so easy and fast, like tuna casserole without baking it! Top with French-fried onions, if desired.

Looking for a good Pesadik main dish for whatever point in the holiday? I've got you covered. We use tapioca starch for this, and though in the past we've found Pesadik mock regular mustard, the only one available this year was honey mustard, so we substituted horseradish sauce (chrein). If you go that route, use the white one, not the purple one with beets! You do actually need to roughly measure the zucchini cuz with the suggested 3-4 large zucchinis, you'll end up with way too many zoodles compared to the tuna. We don't usually use the green chilies; that much heat would exacerbate a chronic illness or 2 for me and possibly also not be great for some relatives.
Anyway, this comes out delicious - my brother even remarked that it "has a sort of cheesy mouthfeel" - and is great for feeding people who can't have dairy at a dairy/pareve meal. (*cough* me *cough*) Enjoy!

now, realistically I don't think Krupp and Edith would ever have any children....
....but did I ever share my concept for a Tuna Casserole fan kid here?
Their name is Adrien and they are a completely normal human being :) Don't worry about it.

That'd work too.
"... yeah, it will.."
"Well, sugar cube, the bell is about to go off and I don't want to be late and keep the kids waiting! See you soon!" *Smooch*
*Chuckle* "See you soon, sweet pea."

Tuna Casserole
A favorite. I’m too tired and stressed to write up a recipe but I’ll do that next time I make it.
