The Wormton AU is officially two years old now! (I really gotta start writing faster...) For the occasion, I redrew the original two sketches of Wormton. I had a few ideas before I came up with the winner, but this was the first time he was a "computer worm" rather than just some worm on a string adjacent thing(s). Honestly, he hasn't changed that much; just became more fleshed out as a character and fictional species (and the fact that he used to be 3 feet tall).

The fic is officially at 150k words! That's about three Great Gatsbys, or one A Tale of Two Cities if you prefer. I'll yap about it below.

Ahh, is any "take him home" style Spamton fic complete without him running away from the person trying to help him at some point? This might be the second time, actually. Does it still count as running away if you stalk someone daily afterwards? Unrelated question.

I've got an entire pile of angst to get through before these guys' relationship can be salvaged. Spamton really doesn't want to address his feelings, so he plays into the addisons' assumptions that his motivations were entirely transactional and that he is physically incapable of caring about them. And, when the addisons have so little to work with in the first place, it's an easy lie for him to spread, to the point where even Blue thinks he hates them at this point. This story would be so much shorter if this mf was mentally stable enough to be honest about his positive feelings instead of trying to repress them. Bro is so deep in the platonic closet

I got to write a (mostly verbal) fight scene? It was fun writing Pink chew Spamton out, because, while they're definitely still grossed out by him, they never hold his malworm status against him. They see him as a parasite because of the way he acts, not because he physically is one. I want Pink and the others to seem justified in their anger/disappointment, even if the readers would know that's he's not really as heartless as he claims to be. Trying to remove the pissed off 16 ft long writhing mass of muscle, teeth, and claws freeloading in your friend's closet by hand was never a good idea, though.

Man, I wanna talk about the plot in detail so badly 😭 I must limit myself to scraps so that I spend more time writing the fic than rambling about it. Last thing I'll say for now is that I've finally got a good plan for the resolution! The final length depends on how much fluff I want to add to the end. I need at least a little bit to make up for all this angst

He eyes her. All barely above five foot of her. "Little bird," He says again.

Alice tenses. All contained fury.

The corner of Sandor's mouth twitches upwards in a smirk. "What's wrong?"

"Isn't that your nickname for Sansa?"

Sandor snorts. "That's what I call all you highborn ladies."

A flurry of emotions goes across her face in seconds. Like clouds reflected across a pond's surface. Tiny expressions that Sandor's not sure that he's interpreting correctly. Relief. Annoyance. Disappointment. Jealousy.

He chuckles softly. "You're jealous," He says. "Jealous of a little girl."

The highborn lady won't meet his eyes.

"Look at you, jealous of a child," The Hound croons.

She cocks her head slightly. "Is she a little girl to you? The amount of men that I've seen lately, drooling over the tits that she's just grown."

He scoffs softly. "Do you think me such a foul beast as that? To go after a maid not even flowered?"

Alice watches him with those storm gray eyes. Quiet as cat's feet.

"I would kill any man that touches her." Sandor gently grips her chin in calloused fingers. "Look at the pretty raven, getting her feathers all ruffed up because of the direwolf." He tucks a strand of hair behind the young widow's ear.

"So you do not care for her?" The words are slow, measured.

He shakes his head. Honest as a dog, as always.

"I'm sorry," She murmurs. "I know that was irrational of me."

The Hound slides his hand along her jaw, so he's holding her cheek. Stroking the soft skin with a thumb. "You should spend less time with the court. You're starting to think the way that they do, little bird. Always expecting the worst of me." His tone is low and teasing.

Footsteps. Coming down the hall. Lady Alice hears them first. With her ears that haven't been slammed into walls by older brothers or fathers. Or struck by weapons in the practice yard or on the battlefield. She steps back so he's no longer touching her, and then further still. Until they're at an appropriate distance. The passing serving girl gives them a cursory glance, but no more.

As soon as the footsteps have died away, they're back together again. The Hound watching the funny little widow, who against all odds seems to care for him as more than a quick tumble...

He takes a step closer to her. "You should see how the other men around the keep look at you. Drooling over you like a piece of meat. Drives me half mad." He captures her chin again and forces her to look up. "You have nothing to fear from Sansa Stark, girl. You shouldn't worry about her or any other lady. They all have nothing on you. Nothing. You have beauty and brains both. And that's more than what can be said for most people." He presses a soft kiss to her forehead. "You know what I like, and she could never give it to me."

She looks up at him with a soft, adoring expression that makes his heart clench.

"No," Alice says slowly. "She wouldn't know how you like it soft one minute and then like I hate you the next."

He gives a grunt of agreement. "The girl is innocent and soft. All blushes and dreams of dashing princes," He says. "She can't give me what I need."

Alice smiles at him and goes up on tiptoe to kiss him. He obliges and bends for her. When he parts from her, he smirks wickedly at how happy she looks. 

"So when are you getting rid of Ser Henry?"

Her smile instantly dies.

**Ser Henry is Lady Alice's main suitor (much to the Hound's annoyance)

I watched Avengers: Age of Ultron (apart from I skipped some overly long action sequences) and I am not sure so can someone tell me whether or not Tony Stark was the baddy in that film? Because about halfway through I was sure he was but then it was maybe just an evil robot after all and I am confused because either this film was surprisingly subversive or it was about robots hitting each other.

OLLI!!!! was originally gonna assign you a boring camcorder that most musicians might bring backstage on tour, but then I remembered the really really fun Digital Bolex !

It was started as a passion project to help poor film students, and it's production was really really unique ^_^ most camera development is kept secret and hidden, so nobody steals blueprints or ideas in an ever-changing industry, but this was a kickstarter campaign!! so to reassure people that their money wasn't getting stolen, they ended up publicizing every possible detail about the cameras the minute they got proof of concept :-) which is really fun

overall i think it's a fun hand-held camera (that was sadly abandoned YEARS ago), but it really fits your vibes! ^_^ it was also developed around the same time as the youngblood chronicals were released sniles sneetly
