Hi everyone!!!! I meant to post this two days ago but I hadn't been on here. With that being said, a great big birthday shout-out to our fandom's own @pedroisghosties !!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Y'all! Let me tell you about this girl!!! Her and I first "met" on here after she began interacting with my fics, and we quickly became friends. We've never met in person (yet) but it's been almost a year of friendship and she's become one of my most favorite people in this world. She is one of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful people, and incredibly fun, sassy, silly, and funny. If you don't already follow her on here, you absolutely should. Her blog is amazing, she regularly reblogs and comments on fics and artwork, and most importantly, she's written a few of her own fics that are so beautiful and deep. ❤️ She puts her heart into everything she does and I'm so thankful to have met her on here. Tumblr really does bring us together 🥹

I have learned the hard way that other family members, outside the household, have different rules when playing UNO. It's wild.

I'm a by the rule paper kind of person.

But it's still better than sinking BOP-IT

We rarely invite my dad to play anymore because he gets so frustrated with what rules we play with, even fairly simple stuff like stacking draw 2s

I’m generally a rules as written person too

My parents (rightly so) never allowed me and my siblings to have a Bop-It, so I’ve only played with one a small handful of times at other kids’ houses growing up

A game two of my siblings now love is Catan; they’ve even bought the online version so they can play together since my oldest sister is across the country from us now

In my defense, during second grade and stuff a lot of the same students played UNO during free time and I just watched, not knowing what the blazes the rules were.

My family usually has regular playing cards, board games, dominoes, and puzzles.

My mom had bought the Star Wars UNO so we could all learn. 😁

That is fair, I learned it because my brother loves it and we bought him a classic deck years ago

A Star Wars deck sounds fun! I always love finding themed stuff, it’s usually really cool

I got sick of UNO a while back, so I hardly ever play it these days
