Happy April 1st! In a few timezones still.

One of my more ambitious projects is mixing the old FUNimation English dub of Detective Conan/Case Closed with the remastered and HD footage available on Blu-ray in Germany. I haven't actually completed very many episodes, but I wanted to mix Episode 76 for today! The dub script here is pretty fun.

PDC owns the rights to the english distribution.#so if you try to watch BTL legally in english on sites like tubi or roku or plex.. you'll only find it in 480p.#its ugly as hell.#but !!! theres a 2020 german digitization done by dolphin medien thats 1080p on bluray.#i made this clip by ripping the audio from my american PDC 480p dvd and my german 1080p bluray and combining them together in premiere pro #im trying to piece together the whole movie this week but its taking time. the german and english cuts are slightly different lengths...#so its taking more editing than i expected #also. i have to write the srt file manually. and thats tedious as hell. but i want subtitles for me and my friends!#i fucking love #lee van cleef #so . im compelled to edit my own watchable version of one of his more obscure films.#anyways . the dynamic btwn the male leads in this movie is pretty 👍👍👍#cudvac #genuinely dont know whether to spell Ben's surname as novack or novac or novack.#but i've only ever seen cudlip/ben tagged as 'cudvac' so... /shrugs/#antonio sabàto #westerns #videos #🤠#pardner posts
