We got a lot of trivia for Cutie Honey episode 22: “My Beloved Paradise Academy.”
Screenwriter: Masaki Tsuji
Art Director: Iwamitsu Ito
Animation Director: Shinya Takahashi
Director: Kazukiyo Shigeno
Tumblr media
The animation director for this episode, Shinya Takahashi, has a history of working on Toei Animation’s early majokko series. He previously did the character designs for Himitsu no Akko-chan, Mahou no Mako-chan, Sarutobi Ecchan, and Mahoutsukai Chappy.
Takahashi would later do animation work for the 1995 PC-FX video game, Cutey Honey FX.
Tumblr media
The principal of Paradise Academy is based on the grandfather from Go Nagai’s Kikkai-kun manga, which is also where the characters Alphonne and Pochi originated from. Kikkai-kun’s grandfather also served as the basis for the janitor Kiyohiko Todoroki in the Devilman anime.
The principal was voiced by Isamu Tanonaka, who had filled in for Keiko Yamamoto as Pochi in the previous episode.
Tumblr media
Goemon is based on Goemon Abashiri, the oldest son from the Abashiri Family manga. Goemon’s claim to fame is that he’s a “professional pervert.” Go Nagai’s assistant and good friend Ken Ishikawa was the model for Goemon. While he doesn’t appear in the original Cutie Honey manga, one of Honey’s (female) classmates is based on him. Goemon would make cameo appearances in New Cutey Honey, Re: Cutie Honey, and Cutie Honey Universe.
Shunji Yamada (later known as Keaton Yamada) voiced Goemon in this episode only, while Sanji Hase played him for the remainder of the series. Hase was previously the King of Manaco in episode 16 and the occasional nameless Panther subordinate.
Tumblr media
The “Yoshitune” that Danbei sings about is probably Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a military commander from the late Heian and early Kamakura periods.
Tumblr media
Danbei’s “adorable nephew” Naojiro is another character borrowed from Go Nagai’s Abashiri Family. In that series, Naojiro was the second oldest son of the Abashiri family. His unique feature was being a cyborg.
In the original Cutie Honey manga Naojiro does not appear as Danbei’s nephew but instead as a girl named Naoko. Naoko is the gang leader of St. Chapel Academy, much like how Naojiro is the gang leader of Paradise Academy in the anime. According to producer Toshio Katsuta, he wanted to introduce Naojiro as a good contrast to Honey, unlike Seiji who he said was “silly and weak.”
In this episode only, Naojiro was voiced by Hiroshi Masuoka, who previously voiced Demon General Zannin in Devilman and Hebitsubo in Dororon Enma-kun. For the remainder of the series Naojiro is voiced by an uncredited Shoji Nishizaki, who mostly did voice work in tokusatsu series.
Naojiro would later make a cameo appearance in the second episode of New Cutey Honey.
Tumblr media
While Paradise Academy does not appear in the original Cutie Honey manga, it is very much inspired by Go Nagai’s infamous manga, Harenchi Gakuen. Before he was reinventing the concept of magical girls and giant robots, Go Nagai was stirring up controversy with this 1968 series. Harenchi Gakuen or “Shameless Academy” was one of the first manga to be featured in the popular Weekly Shonen Jump. It featured ridiculous Benny Hill-like antics, excessive nudity, lowbrow toilet humor, crucifixion scenes played for laughs and made a mockery of the Japanese school system. There was such outage towards Harenchi Gakuen, PTA groups actually performed public burnings of the manga. Despite the controversies, Harenchi was immensely popular, which led to live action TV series and films.
Paradise Academy’s name comes from the Abashiri Family manga. Originally, Paradise Academy was a prison-like middle school for aspiring young assassins and served as the setting for an early arc in the manga. A few of Naojiro’s classmates seen in this episode are taken directly from the Abashiri Family manga as well.
Tumblr media
While attempting to evade Naojiro, Honey transforms into members of the baseball club, wrestling club and boxing club. As a boxer, she is only wearing shorts, shoes and boxing gloves. This is exactly how Kikunosuke dresses when she practices boxing in the Abashiri Family manga.
Tumblr media
The self-proclaimed “Magician of Hell” was originally designed by Ken Ishikawa, who had her sporting more obvious magician motifs such as a giant top hat and bow tie. The “Great” in her name likely refers to a magician’s title.
Great Claw controlling Naojiro’s comrades with spider-like threads is possibly a reference to the Devilman manga. There are a couple of chapters involving a spider-like demon who controls the students of Nakado Academy and forces them to attack Akira and Miki. There is also an episode of the Devilman TV series which features a demon who controls human-like mannequins with spider threads.
This is also the only episode to not feature Panther Zora or Sister Jill.
That's all for episode 22!

Victims With Numbers
Fandom: Nanbaka/Corpse Party (crossover) Genre: Horror Characters: Hajime Sugoroku, Samon Gokuu, Kiji Mitsuba, Kenshirou Yozakura, Jyugo, Uno, Nico, Rock, Tsukumo, Liang, Upa, Qi, Honey, Trois, Musashi, Sachiko Shinozaki, Ryou Yoshizawa, Yuki Kanno, Tokiko Tsuji, Yoshikazu Yanagihori, Yoshie Shinozaki, Takamine Yanagihori, some OCs to take the role of Kizami later on instead of actual Kizami Includes major character death.
Chapter 15 of ?
It was clear that they couldn't bring Motomu with them, or allow him to come into contact with anyone else, especially people unable to defend themselves. While Liang himself could undoubtedly take the kid (despite his size - he was clearly an athlete for some school team or another, and a whole head taller than Rock), there were likely plenty of other innocent kids here, people from Motomu and Keiko's own schools, who would not be able to fight off a much larger teen with a professional grade hunting knife. Where he got the knife in the first place was a question probing at the back of his mind as well. Did he bring that knife to whatever location the kids were at before they got trapped here? Did he find it here?
What did he do? How could he prevent Motomu from hurting other victims trapped here without putting him into a position where he'd most likely not survive? For the time being, the best he could do would be to subdue him, maybe find a guard to help deal with this. He certainly wasn't going to kill the kid. He may have  been driven insane by this place, but perhaps there was still a way to help him.
"Get away from Big Brother!"
The shout took him by surprise. Keiko wasn't in front of him any more, and someone was taking position behind his back. Jolting into action, Liang turned, releasing his captive with one hand and holding it out to stop the knife Keiko had tried to plunge between his shoulder blades. The blade slashed across his palm as if it was nothing, and his hand closed around hers. Keiko's expression was wild, full of rage, fear and confusion. She didn't understand or couldn't accept what her brother had become, and, struggling with her conflicting emotions, she had picked up the hunting knife. She tried to press against his grip, drive the knife onwards, but he could feel her hesitation. She didn't really want to hurt him.
"Keiko. Stop."
"You're hurting big brother!"
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. He was going to hurt you."
"He wasn't! He wouldn't!"
Liang wasn't sure what he could say to her. He shook his head. "It's this place. It's done something to him, I'm sure of it. Can you feel it? The darkness? It's like tar. We'll find him help, he isn't beyond it." She clearly hadn't come to the conclusion that he'd hurt their friends, so why cause her more pain than necessary? It would run the risk of losing her as an ally, and losing the ability to help her out. It seemed to work, though. She relaxed her grip on the knife.
"We can help Big Brother?"
"I know people who can help. The guards from the prison I came from - yes, he's right, I'm currently serving time for a crime, but I won't hurt you, I promise. The guards will make sure no-one poses a risk to each other, and they'd know more about this sort of thing than me."
"Guards...will...will they arrest him?"
"If that's the safest thing to do, yes."
Sadly, she looked past him, to her brother, met his eyes, and gave a slight nod.
Motomu twisted, successfully pushing Liang off his back. He landed hard, jarring his arm, and the teenager reacted quickly. In moments, Motomu had taken the knife from his sister's hand, and it was his turn to try and plunge it into the inmate's back. This time, he was able to avoid injury, rolling and kicking out at Motomu's knee. Not stopping to see if his counter was successful, he scrambled to his feet and dashed for the door. He felt someone grab at his hair and hit their hand hard with his own, dislodging them quick. He stopped at the door, glancing back to Keiko. He couldn't leave her behind.
She was running after him, something clasped in her hands. whatever she was holding, she was gripping it tight enough that it was causing her hands to bleed. If he wasn't mistaken, it was a shard broken off one of the cracked mirrors. She must have found it on the floor. Her brother was getting to his feet behind her, a look of rage on his face, which was fair enough, he supposed. Looked like the kick to his knee had set him off balance after all. Reaching through the door, Liang grabbed hold of Keiko's wrists and hauled her through to the hallway. Motomu gave chase, and just before he reached the door, Liang slammed it shut. He heard a sound as the boy, unable to halt his momentum in time, slammed into the door and presumably tumbled to the ground. The inmate pressed himself against the door and kept his hand on the handle, trying his best to keep the door firmly shut. His stomach cramped painfully, and not for the first time since he'd been stuck here. He curled over slightly, but tried not to let his discomfort show too much. Unfortunately, he was quite sure he would wet himself in the next few minutes if he wasn't careful.
Keiko was crying again, sobbing quite hysterically this time. Hesitantly, he reached for her, but she slapped his hand away and shook her head. "I'm sorry!" She yelled at him. He supposed she was apologising for trying to stab him.
"Kei-"
"I'm so, so sorry! I didn't...I don't want to...I...I..."
"You're scared. I know. Just try and calm down."
"No!" She shook her head again, more frantically this time. "Big brother has always been nice to people! He's never hurt a person before!"
"But-"
"But nothing!"
"This place has affected him."
She froze, wiped her eyes. "He...he used to hurt cats. When I was little. He killed a cat. It's my first memory of big brother I still have...He never liked cats. Or dogs. Or birds. Or other animals. He didn't like them. But he never ever ever was that scary! Not like that! Not ever!" Her eyes flew to the mirror shard in her hands. "I hurt him...and I hurt you...and he hurt us...I can't trust him, can I?"
Liang paused, trying to think on how best to respond. "Keiko, we can help him. He's not even trying to open the door. I think, inside, in a part of him that hasn't been poisoned by the darkness around him, he really doesn't want to hurt anyone, just like you didn't."
It would have been convincing had Motomu not then tried to heave open the door. The kid was pretty strong, as Liang had first assumed, and the door jerked against his attempts to hold it shut. He needed to find a way to hold it shut without having to stay here.
"Keiko, go to one of the classrooms and get a chair or an art easel, and bring it back here. We can jam the door shut for a short amount of time. Can you do that for me?"
She shook her head slightly. She was shaking head to toe, eyes fixed on a point over Liang's shoulder.
"Okay...we can fix this, help him, get out of here. We can work together-"
"There's no way out!"
"No, there is! I'm sure of it. I've seen things here that others have said are impossible. I've found people who I was told I would never see again. I promise you, we can do this. We can find a way out. I promise I'll protect you and we'll get out of he-"
Liang cut off with a scream as pain erupted across his shoulder, and he couldn't fight the instinctive reaction to jerk forward, pull away from the door, where Motomu had managed to force it open just enough to get the knife through. The movement, the immediate attempt to get away from the pain while the knife was still in his attacker's hands and technically in another room, made it worse. Made the knife move. It would have pulled out of him completely if Motomu hadn't been ready to burst through and follow up with the initial attack. The extra force of the boy throwing himself at his back had him stumbling, but he managed to keep his footing this time. His injured hand, slick with blood, went back to grab his attacker's wrist, keep him from moving or removing the knife any more, but his hand was wet and slippery, and with some effort the school boy was able to pull away, and of course was able to pull the knife free too.
The obvious downside to having the knife pulled out was the bleeding, but the obvious upside was that he didn't have to worry as much about jostling the boy around too much. He could fight back without risking further injury to himself. However, with how deep that stab was for a lucky, wild jab, he probably needed to act quickly.
Motomu had decided to act quickly as well. He leaned his full weight forward on Liang, trying to push him down, while also wrapping an arm around his throat. It was an attempt at a headlock, trying to throw him off balance and keep him under control, while also keeping the knife positioned somewhere above his head so it still presented a danger.
It wasn't the strongest headlock he'd ever been caught in.
Liang pushed back, keeping his back as straight as he could as Motomu tried to force him over, and tried to raise his hands to trap his assailant's. His left moved no problem, and he wrapped his arm around the one leading to the knife, keeping it pinned in place as best he could. The right arm shifted only a little before the pain in his shoulder interrupted him. Damn it. That would be a problem if he needed to defend himself further. For now, he was able to keep the knife away from his skull. He hooked his foot behind Motomu's and twisted. Though he was smaller than his opponent, he knew how to move to stretch him out, loosen his grip and slip through. And as expected, it was easier to get out of than the headlock that man from Cell 3 tried to put him in, or any he'd been through in training. The boy's lack of experience in a proper life or death fight showed through. It didn't take Liang long to get behind him and kick his legs out from under him.
As soon as Motomu hit the floor, Liang had another choice to make - incapacitate him, or take Keiko and run, and this time, he chose the former. If he just ran, Motomu would chase after them again, and he would be able to ambush them. With the teenager already starting to pick himself up, Liang launched himself forward, planning to take care of this quickly. Motomu managed to get to his feet and turn to face him before Liang hit him. The first two attacks drove the teenager into the wall, but he was able to block and counter the third, sending the inmate back a step. Reacting to the expression on the inmate's face, Motomu scoffed.
"I'm the best in mixed martial arts at my school. I've won a lot of regional competitions as well. I've not yet met a fighter better than me."
"...I'm not intimidated by you." Honestly, Liang had absolutely no concerns regarding Motomu's fighting ability. He might be better than the average teenager, but he still had obvious inexperience. If anything, judging by the boy's stance and movements, either he was off his best due to his experiences in this haunted school, or he'd cheated a couple of times in his competitions.
The ensuing fight ended as expected, at least to Liang. Though Motomu had been able to get a few good hits in, he was now unconscious, and Liang had seen fit to confiscate the knife. It would probably terrify some poor innocent if he was seen holding it in his hand as he wandered around, so he decided to conceal it within his jumpsuit. No way was he leaving it lying around for someone else to find. It had done enough damage in the hands of those siblings. As well as the knife wounds Liang was sporting from what had just gone down, during that last scuffle Motomu had managed to get a pretty good hit in on his stomach and a good grip on one of his earrings. His earlobe was torn, not all the way through, but it was still none too pleasant. Pressing his hand to his injured shoulder, he leaned against the wall and let himself slide to the floor, getting his breath back as best he could. It was uncomfortable there on the floor, and not just because of the level of disrepair in the building. His jumpsuit may have been a bit wet at this point, which he would love to blame on sweat from exerting himself in the fight. It was, in some part, due to blood, but it was also in due in part to the fact that he'd gone into a fight while desperate for the bathroom.
It looked like the bleeding from his palm and shoulder had calmed down. He figured he could keep going without worrying about losing too much blood, at least. He glanced around, looking for Keiko, making sure she'd been out of range of the fight.
She wasn't there.
Of course. It had been too quiet. She must have run off somewhere when the fighting began. Well, he would need to scour the building once more at least to try and find a way out of there. Heaving a deep sigh, Liang got to his feet and walked toward the classrooms on that floor.

An insert song for the 1981 “Little Women” anime. It’s nice and calm. Let me know if I translated the title right. Fun fact, Keiko Han (or Keiko Tsuji as she’s credited here), was cast in both the 1981 and 1987 anime adaptations. She was Beth in the 1981 anime, and Meg in the 1987 anime.

3 Yubari finalists have been selected!
To decide the Yubari participant, we called for submission from the pupils of Yubari Primary School, and 14 children across all the grades submitted images based on ‘what they think of as the landscape of their city’. The Selection Committee met at Shimizusawa Community Gate on Saturday 24th August, and selected 3 finalists/images - Hana Sakurai (6th grade), Yukiji Hokao (3rd grade), and Wakana Tsuji (3rd grade). The selected images will be unveiled when the final work is selected by Mr David Fryer, the Aberdeen participant. The 3 Yubari finalists will be selecting the final work amongst 3 images taken by Mr Fryer later in September. Two images from both cities will eventually realise as a print work at Peacock Visual Arts in Aberdeen.  All the images submitted will be showcased in an exhibition this Winter.  Thank you very much indeed to all the applicants for participating, and very well done for capturing their landscapes of Yubari. Thank you also the Selection Committee members for their time, expertise and inputs. Selection Committee - Naoshi Shimura (Yubari Bureau Chief at Hokkaido Shimbun Newspaper) - Keiko Hirano (Photographer / Senior Photo Caravan in Yubari) - Kazumasa Ueki (Cultural Preservation Committee at Yubari City / Board at Shimizusawa Project) - Motoji Sato (Former Yubari Bureau Chief at Hokkaido Shimbun Newspaper / Member at Shimizusawa Project)  - Kazuki Yamaguchi (Photographer / Member at Shimizusawa Project) Selection Process Committee selected 3 finalists/images - without knowing participants’ identities - based on the points added by them for 3 categories: the viewpoint and its uniqueness, the context and background story of the image; and creativity and aesthetic framing in the image.
Comments from the Selection Committee - ‘Excited to see the contrast between the images and words. The images taken based on their clear aim capture both their daily viewpoint and objects more powerfully.’ - ‘Found more interesting when the image captures their everyday sceneries such as shops to which they go and places that they walk.’ - ‘Some images are difficult to identify the Yubari locality. Felt that children had a joy to frame their everyday landscapes. Hope that they will explore this exercise more into the future.’ - ‘They are all very well framed but it might have been interesting to see more ‘playfulness’ in them.’ - ‘Felt that, like adults, children are also seeking nostalgic expression. It would have been interesting if they capture something about their generation rather than something expected by older generation.’ Applicants Details  - 1st Grade - 1 - 2nd Grade - 3 - 3rd Grade - 2 - 4th Grade - 1 - 5th Grade - 5 - 6th Grade - 2 TOTAL: 14 applicants Shimizusawa Project website: https://www.shimizusawa.com/news/4896.html

Smoking cessation and subsequent risk of cancer: A pooled analysis of eight population-based cohort studies in Japan
Publication date: December 2017 Source:Cancer Epidemiology, Volume 51 Author(s): Eiko Saito, Manami Inoue, Shoichiro Tsugane, Hidemi Ito, Keitaro Matsuo, Kenji Wakai, Keiko Wada, Chisato Nagata, Akiko Tamakoshi, Yumi Sugawara, Ichiro Tsuji, Tetsuya Mizoue, Keitaro Tanaka, Shizuka Sasazuki BackgroundAlthough East Asia is one of the largest tobacco-epidemic regions in the world, only a few prospective studies from Asia have investigated the impact of smoking and cessation of smoking on cancer. We aimed to assess the effect of cessation of smoking on the risk of cancer using eight population-based cohort studies in Japan.MethodsWe analyzed pooled data from eight population-based prospective cohort studies in Japan with more than 320,000 participants to assess the effect of smoking cessation on the risk of total cancers and smoking-related cancers.ResultsAfter adjustment for potential confounders, cancer risks in men with >21years of smoking cessation before baseline were found to decrease to the same level as never smokers for total cancer (never smokers: reference; former smokers with ≥21 years since smoking cessation: HR, 1.01; 95%CI: 0.91, 1.11). Even men who are heavy smokers (more than 20 pack-years) reported a reduced risk of total cancer (never smokers: reference; former smokers with ≥21 years since smoking cessation: HR, 1.06; 95%CI: 0.92, 1.23). In women, the risk of total cancer did not differ from that of never smokers after 11 years of smoking cessation before baseline (never smokers: reference; former smokers with ≥11 years since smoking cessation: HR, 0.96; 95%CI: 0.74, 1.23).ConclusionsOur study suggests that longer duration of smoking cessation may attenuate the risk of cancer in both men and women, and that even heavy smokers (more than 20 pack-years) were found to benefit from quitting smoking. http://ift.tt/2AdwkWz

Let's check out Cutie Honey episode 11: “Keep Your Hands off the Gold.”
Screenwriter: Masaki Tsuji
Art Director: Iwamitsu Ito
Animation Director: Nobuhiro Okaseko
Director: Yoichi Kominato
Tumblr media
The newscaster at the beginning of the episode mentions “economic animals", referring to people who put profit first. Apparently back in the 60’s and 70’s this was a derogatory term used by foreigners to describe the Japanese.
Tumblr media
Two businesses (?) who have set up in Hakone are Animal Tourism and Hoi Hoi Real Estate. “Animal Tourism” could be a reference to the aforementioned “economic animals” or to Go Nagai’s manga, Animaru Kedaman.
“Hoi Hoi Real Estate” likely comes from Gokiburi Hoi Hoi, a popular brand of roach traps released by Earth Corporation the same year Cutie Honey premiered.
Tumblr media
Danbei mentions his sword was forged by Nagamune. “Nagamune” seems to be a parody of the famous medieval blacksmith, Masamune. Formally known as Goro Nyudo Masamune, he was acclaimed as Japan’s greatest swordsmith.
Tumblr media
Alphonne tells Pochi this is her first time ever driving since she received her license 10 years ago. However, we saw her driving a buggy back in episode 9. Considering she’s the comic relief, perhaps this oversight was intentional?
Tumblr media
This episode introduces the principal of St. Chapel Academy, Ms. Pochi. She is based on a male character called “Dr. Pochi” from Go Nagai’s Kikkai-kun manga. That same character would also inspire the principal of Nakado Academy in Devilman.
Pochi has a habit of smacking Alphonne over the head, yelling “sekkan” which refers to a severe beating or scolding. This is very funny when you consider Alphonne and Pochi were secret lovers in the original Cutie Honey manga. “Pochi” is a common name for a dog (much like “Spot” or “Rover”).
In this episode only Pochi is drawn with a mustache and her voice actress, Keiko Yamamoto, gives her a deeper, more boyish voice. In subsequent episodes Pochi has a clean shaven upper lip and Yamamoto uses a much more feminine sounding voice.
Tumblr media
One of the treasures Breast Claw shows Honey and Ms. Pochi is a golden statue of a bird called “Yata no Karasu.” Also known as “Yatagarasu”, this is a mythical crow and guiding god in Shinto mythology. A holy creature and servant of the sun goddess, Amaterasu. The bird is typically depicted with three legs, although the statue in this episode only has two.
You don't want to miss next week's post, as I go over the fan-favorite episode 12: A Red Pearl is Forever.

JUDGING A BEAUTY PAGEANT: CALCULATING FEMALE SEXBEAUTY INDEX
TANVIR SEXUALTALK = TANVIR Sex Talk by TANVIR NEBUCHADNEZAR
JUDGING A BEAUTY PAGEANT: CALCULATING FEMALE SEXBEAUTY INDEX
It is very difficult to define beauty because different persons perceive beauty differently. Also beauty markers differ from culture to culture and human species to human species. Thus, it is very dubious if a universal beauty scale can be defined and made. There will be differences as to how different humans and different human species perceive female beauty.
But, though there are six human species on our planet but they have evolved on the same planet earth. Thus the only criteria and scale that can be applied to all human species is the the evolutionary scaling of beauty.
Below I have take the example of the 63rd annual Miss Universe Beauty Pageant to evaluate the top contestants and come up with a evolutionary scale to judge female beauty. It is easy to apply and is more objective. It also takes into consideration the differences in human species as a result of different timelines and pace and place  of evolution among different species of humans.
The 63rd annual miss Universe beauty pageant was held in DORAL MIAMI, USA. It was a glittering event of the highest quality, in which beauties from 88 countries took part. The event was extremely well organized and was superbly entertaining. The beauty of the contestants was magical and captivating.
The pageant was hosted by Jeannie Mai, Thomas Roberts, Natalie Morales, and Nick Jones. Of these, I found Natalie Morales as beautiful and an excellent presenter.
The lighting on stage was excellent and the stage itself was extremely well constructed. The hosts and participants were exuberant and gay. All in all, it was a treat to watch.
Now coming to the beauty contest itself. In 2009, I wrote the article, “Female Sexbeauty Index”, in which I gave physical aspects of females, which the males find attractive and desirable. I did not quantify these qualities. But, seeing the Miss Universe contest I thought that there must be some quantification to ‘Female Sexbeauty Index’, if only to give relative ranking to beauty contestants.
For this, I have invented a ‘Female Sexbeauty index’ Calculator. In short its H2F3S4B2W3L2.
H2F3S4B2W3L2 is:
H2 = Hair + Hipbuttocks
F3 = Face + Front profile + Femininity
S4 = Shoulder arms + Skin + Speaking + Smile
B2 = Breasts + Back profile
W3 = Waist + Weight + Walk
L2 = Legs + Length
For this I have categorized height (=Length) as follows:
5’ to 5’3’’    60 points
5’4’’ to 5’6’’   70 points
5’7’’ to 5’9’’  80 points
·      5’10’’ to 6’  90 points
6’1’’ to 6’3’’ 100
Though there were 88 contestants in this Miss Universe contest, I am giving the calculated values of ‘Female Sexbeauty Index’ of selected contestants, which I thought were exceptionally beautiful. You will find the values to differ markedly from what the judges have given. But I think that my ‘Female Sexbeauty Index’ calculator is more correct and accurate.

If we see the calculated values of ‘Female Sexbeauty Index’ in the above contestants, we find that Miss Turkey, Ukraine, Israel, Kosovo, Greece, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Slovak Republic, Finland, Hungary, Korea, Czech Republic,  Venezuela all score much higher than the eventual Miss Universe, Miss Colombia.
Also, Miss Lithuania, Japan, Sweden are better or very near.
You can look at the ‘Female Sexbeauty Index ‘ Calculator and draw your own conclusions.

Chapter 14 of ?
Liang and Keiko had found their way back to the bathroom. The one taped shut with the charms that seared flesh. There had been no further sign of the ghost child, nor of the spirit that had saved Liang before. It truly seemed as if it were just the two of them in that building, though he was sure he could hear footsteps now and then. They'd found little to do, beyond circling the building a few times, trying to find something that might be of use. A way to open the main doors, a clue to where the others may have gone, just anything. At first, the only new thing Liang could note was that someone had scrawled over a flyer stuck to the wall. Before, the flyer had been uninteresting. A bake sale advertisement from before Heavenly Host closed its gates. When they passed the flyer for maybe the third time, it had blood on it. Not in splatters or drops either, no spray or lean. It hadn't just gotten there by mistake. No no, something was written there, scrawled in sloppy and shaky Chinese. Smeared in unsteady blood letters with several jittery mistakes, parts of the lettering reversed, trails where the writer's hand weakened and fell from the paper, and points where the letters went over the edge of the paper and onto the wall instead.

It was most likely from the spirit from before. A message to someone, to tell them to meet in the art classroom, just as the spirit had told him verbally, as well as something indeterminable.
Perhaps this message was written for the lost little girl to find.
Perhaps there was someone else here he was supposed to meet with.
Perhaps it was something the man wrote before he died, and the message was never even meant for Liang.
But that begged the question of how many people would actually be here expecting to communicate with their friends in Chinese. From what he could tell, the majority of people trapped here were from Japan, which made sense. The building itself had been Japanese, and the story, the legend of the school and of the deaths was one circulated in Japan. So it must have been meant at the very least for a Chinese speaker. The next question was what did the numbers mean? If the writer was from Nanba, it made sense for him to signal to specific people with numbers, but the numbers used didn't specify any of the inmates, except for maybe Qi and himself. More than anything, that was unnerving. The jumble of 1's and unfinished hanzi only complicated the message further. Something the spirit, possibly, tried to write with the last of his strength, making it an important message, but one that he could not fully tell.
Shortly after this, Keiko's sharp eye had spotted something in one of the cabinets in the art classroom that Liang had overlooked. Beneath a needle-like implement sat a white board, a thin rectangle with writing on it. A charm. If he remembered correctly, there had been similar charms around the temple where he'd grown up. It was Keiko's opinion that the charm might counteract the ones on the bathroom door, and Liang, knowing that if done correctly such things indeed had the potential for great power, had agreed to retrieve it from the cabinet. The door was locked, but unlike the front door, this one could be broken or forced. They just needed something to help them cause a little extra damage. Some of the works of art around the room would have been enough to do the trick - the room still held works from when the room was in use. Children's paintings on the easels, clay and papier-mâché models and chalk doodles stacked in the corner. Some of these items were perfectly innocent creations made by children of the past, including the odd picture or piece that looked very phallic but was undoubtedly just a clumsy drawing of a fruit bowl or animal. Other pieces matched the dark atmosphere of the school. A painting of a person hanging by their neck. A piece of paper with a red scribble and the caption 'man went splat'. A model of a child's hand with what was undeniably blood staining the fingers. Depictions of pain and fear, some in far too much detail to be the work of a child. In the end, Liang had picked up one of the clay models, judging by the scoring a cactus, and used it to break the glass of the cabinet. Taking care not to cut himself, he lifted the charm from its place. There was a genuine power within it, he could feel it.
Which was why they'd chosen to return to the bathroom, charm in hand. No discussion, but no certainty. Liang carefully laid the charm before the doors before stepping back, one arm held out to the side to keep Keiko away from any potential danger ahead of them. At first, it seemed as if nothing was happening, and then he felt the heat. It came off the charm in waves, banishing the icy cold of the abandoned school. It quickly got warm enough that the two of them began to sweat. When the first of the warding spells on the door caught fire, Liang pulled Keiko back a few more steps and held a hand up for some degree of protection. By the time all the spells were alight, the fire burned too bright to look at.
"The school's gonna burn down!" Keiko squeaked in terror. "We can't get out! We're gonna die, we're gonna-!" She cut off and went into wordless screaming as Liang pulled her back even further, stepping in front of her to block her from the flames. He felt the heat against his back threaten to burn any skin it could find. He dared a glance back, to see how the fire was spreading, and was surprised to see that the fire seemed to not so much as skim the wood of the door. It burned away the paper spells, turning them to ash, and then sputtered out, taking all the heat with it at once.
Slowly, he turned to the door and took Keiko's hand, leading her forward as she, realising the heat was gone, opened her eyes and tried to calm herself down. He didn't look at her, but he could tell she was in tears and very, very afraid. When he reached out to the door, he found the handle was cool, as if it hadn't been exposed to the fire at all. The door slid open now without hesitation, and Liang stepped into the boys' bathroom.
The bathroom was in a better state than those he had seen before, at least. There were about five stalls, as in the girls' bathroom in the main building, but all of them were locked. From the top of the stalls, he could see ropes coming up and leading to some point along the high ceiling. He wasn't sure the ceiling was meant to be that high. A few urinals stood at a low height, blocked and flooded, but not broken. Usable. Between the urinals and the stalls, a young man with purple hair was curled up in foetal position, entire body tense and very, very still. From where he stood, Liang wasn't entirely sure if the young man was still alive or not. He was either petrified in fear in the truest sense of the phrase, or he was freshly deceased and entering a state of rigor mortis.
"Motomu?"
Liang looked to Keiko as she shuffled into the room. Her eyes were fixed on the purple-haired boy on the floor, who looked up in response to his name, his movements stiff and almost unnatural.
"K-...Kei-chan..." The boy, Motomu, got to his feet, and Keiko ran to him, sobbing. The two embraced, and Liang watched them, a smile on his face. At the very least, he could be happy they'd been reunited. He decided to hang back, let them have their moment for now, and tried not to listen to their conversation. They were fairly loud, though, and it was rather awkward.
"I was so scared, big brother!"
"I know. I'm sorry. But it's okay, Kei-chan. I won't leave you again for as long as you live. I won't let the ghosts here hurt you."
"Yui...Yui was-"
"I know. Makishi too. I saw them both. I bet it was that ghost girl holding the scissors. But I saw someone hurt someone else from their own school..." The elder brother took something from his back pocket and held it out behind Keiko's back, shifting his grip to angle the object slightly. "But don't worry. Big brother will take care of everything."
In a moment, Keiko was thrown to the floor, and Motomu pinned, his arm held high over his back. Liang's knee was digging into the boy's spine, keeping him down, and he had a vice-like grip on Motomu's wrist. In the boy's hand was a knife. By the looks of it, it was new, and a professional hunting knife, but had been used and hastily wiped clean. A faint smear of red still stained the surface. From where Liang had been standing, he'd seen, from the corner of his eye, Motomu preparing to plunge the knife into his sister's neck. A quick twist of the wrist, and the boy released the knife, allowing the inmate to kick it across the room.
"B...big brother?" Keiko managed from her place on the floor, staring at the boys in shock, tears forming in her eyes already. Liang's focus, of course, was on her attacker.
"You were going to attack your own sister?!"
Motomu, to his credit, completely ignored him. "Keiko! What's wrong with you? You just went off with a stranger? I get you were scared, but you don't know this guy! He could have hurt you! Look at him, look at this place! Look at what happened to Yui. For all you know, he could have done that."
"Care to explain why you're armed, and why you're turning your weapons on us?"
"Have you seen the corpses, genius?"
Fair point, at least for the first question. "Where did you get the knife from? Why did you attack your sister?"
Motomu twisted in his grip, trying to look him in the eye. "Why did you go to prison?"
The atmosphere seemed to drop even further. The suffocating darkness wrapped around the three of them, and Liang could sense the murderous intent beneath him increase.
"Motomu. We need to work together to find a way out of this place. We can't turn on each other. Every second we're here, we're in extreme danger. We need to know you don't add to that danger. Why did you point the knife at Keiko?"
"You didn't answer my question."
"You've barely answered any of mine."
"We can't get out of here."
"You've given up?"
"Not exactly."
"But you've turned to hurting others."
"You're no saint."
"What is wrong with you?"
Motomu twisted a little, trying to look Liang in the eye. There was something about the look in his eye that seemed very wrong. Something in there was cold, and dark, and tinged with insanity. He dropped his voice low, likely so his sister would not hear his next words. "Let me tell you this much, all you need to know. The spirits here are killing people, and those people are desperate to survive. But they can't. The ghosts will kill them, or they'll suffer some accident, or starve or dehydrate or sicken, or someone else will kill them. Someone like me, or maybe someone like you, right, Mr Criminal? Because I can see it in your face, you're no stranger to the stench of blood and rot, are you? You're not as disturbed as all the poor, innocent kids who come in here and die in some horrible, tragic way. And this place? It can twist your mind, poison your thoughts and make you want to kill. Not me, though, so don't worry.
"I've just always hated those people. Fake smiles. Platitudes. Pretence. Doesn't it all just make you so angry? But there's so many rules out there, rules that fall apart once you're in here. You can do whatever you want. Go crazy. Let loose all those nasty little thoughts and feelings. You don't have to serve your time or repent for anything you did wrong in the past. No prison, no punishment, just the freedom to suffer and cause suffering until your last breath."
Liang inhaled sharply, a thought coming to him during Motomu's words. "Those people you mentioned, the ones who had been killed...Yui and Makishi...did you do something to them?"
"It doesn't matter if you're killed by the ghosts or killed by me. Either way, you die."
