Sometimes, in the back of my head, I Imagine these two being tied together like soulmates, but it's platonic. They'll always be together and meet each other in every possible way, whether they are friends or enemies.

Just two souls tied together. I never got this out of my head ever since it hit me.

Just had a thought while I was on my break.

There's a whole bunch of aus of the archivists, meaning there is a multiverse. And imagine they all were aware of each other. The multiverse beef would be crazy because half of the archivists are nice to the collector. The others are just straight up KILL THE CHILD.

Today I needed comfort 🥲 so I went to my fav jimin for it and I wanted to share how warm I felt after this part bc maybe we all need some💜

“Under the covers, you curl up together, soft and warm from the shower, scented lavender and mint from your body wash and toothpaste. Jimin’s legs tangle with yours, an arm wrapping over your waist, and you press your cheek against the hard plane of his chest with a small sigh.

You listen as his breathing slows, each inhale a little further apart from the last, to the point where you think he’s fallen asleep. You feel yourself start to follow after him, and the last thing you hear before you’re dragged all the way down is Jimin inhaling deep, then mumbling softly into your hair. “Thank you. For everything.”

i really loved writing the trust and gentleness that developed between him and reader during the events of TSOYB, and this scene in particular, especially in the greater context of the story with how she's helping him to not be so hard on himself 🥺

Do you write for specific archivists? (Because theres this one archivists i saw that was kinda-)

Anyways just a ask but, what would happen if the archivists child was hurt or someone else was trying to take the parental role away from the archivists

(Also have you SEEN the new collection incomplete stuff as well as the tsoyb au yet)

1 - Depends??? I suppose if you mean OCs from AUs and such, maybe. I’d have to get the creator’s permission first though.

2 - if someone was trying to harm them, the attacker would cease to exist in the most painful way possible.

3 - if someone was trying to do that, they’d see it as a free babysitter. They probably find The Collector annoying or something considering they were like “go play with the titans” when he just wanted to spend time with them.

4 - NO???? WHAT ARCHIVIST STUFF??? Is it canon??

5 - No, the only archivist page I follow is ask-the-archivists .

Just a little tiny stupid question but-

How do you pronounce circe? Is it circe sounding like siri with a silent c? Or circe with the i sounding like the letter i instead of the sound? Or any other way of pronouncing it? I'm definitely not asking this ridiculous question because I can't for the life of me pronounce it

Collie has pronounced their name wrong way too many times too.

ok first of all congrats on creating peak story, peak characters, peak worldbuilding and everything else. no notes, delicious meal 100/10 something I've been wondering since I've been scrolling a little bit through your posts, what moral alignments would best suit all the Outers? I'm using the term very broadly here bc I have a feeling that none of them really follow an ethical code aside from "doing my job" I'd guess Gabriel falls into this mindset as he grows older, too? Seems like he either creates prophecies/deals for their own entertainment kinda like Ouroboros, or it somehow rly became their job but they have grown so emotionally distant from their foretold futures that they are now partaking in the idgaf war and are (sadly) winning

As for your questions

Neutrality is what suits the Outers moral alignment best. They are a morally grey species that doesn't follow the majority of mortal rules and ethics.

They do actually follow ethnic and moral codes that have been established and taught throughout the System (Is what their community/civilization is commonly called), they do not harm their own species nor others without further instruction (This is especially enforced if you are a Naturalist), they cannot destroy planets as they please, They cannot harm Guardians (Caretakers) and children, and so on.

Rules were established to keep such a powerful species like them under control by the Heads of the System to not cause chaos and destruction,

since the Outer species are born from celestial objects, (That includes galaxies) and aren't in a way spiritually programmed to keep the universe stabilized or alive. If they wanted to they can destroy the universe.

Their jobs are usually their passion or interest, its not simply because its their job its because its something they enjoy doing too...No matter how destructive it can get.

They also aren't Gods, they are just powerful.

Gabriel's current condition isn't related to their job, while the stress is keeping up with the workload they have a more personal issues that causes them to undergo depression in their future.

Gabriel's role is to be the new Head Archivists, their ability of clairvoyance isn't used at all as they cannot control when the ability would activate as again it only activates when they're slumbering and chances are they cannot even decipher it.

They're more emotionally exhausted rather than distant.

For Ouroboros however they don't do things for their entertainment, they are simply ordered to do task and obey them. They cannot experience emotions yet.

has any of the archivists scared collector with anger before? either with telling him off or yelling at each other?

The siblings would never yell or show their anger towards Collector. (Minus Circe but Collector is used to it)

But Collector has been scared a couple of times by their eldest with their possessive behavior leaking out a few times.

Technically any non-edible objects are...edible to them as they can pretty much digest anything.
