guys why would alice invite her ex and his new gf to her little brother's show? i've got a few thoughts

she's trying to keep sam from drifting off by establishing a neutral middle ground for everyone to be at, where she is still comfortable

she's lonely. she doesn't have anyone else to ask.

her brother needs the people? (not sure about this one cause it seemed packed later on in the episode but he was also asking for money so maybe she thinks he needs the people?)

this is a desperate last ditch attempt at keeping everyone together. she can feel the gap widening and she can't have that

she's also somehow keeping up appearances of unbothered by the horrors and therefore exempt from it

she's trying to establish a middle ground that is exempt from the horrors to save sam from whatever fate he might have

If you could watch Elvis performing only one song many times in different concerts, which song would that be?

Let's try to choose songs that he played over a long period of time, which would be songs from the 50s that Elvis kept in his setlist in the late 60s and throughout the 70s.

Mine is "Trying to Get You" (at least if that wish were given to me at the present moment).

Elvis recorded this song at Sun Records on July 11, 1955 and over the years he soulfully sang the tune. After the 7-year break from live performances during the Hollywood era, Elvis would revive the song onstage, starting from the '68 Comeback Special. "Trying to Get You" was also a part of his 70s concerts setlists, being one of the songs featured in Elvis's last TV Special "Elvis In Concert" as part of the live shows recorded for it on June 1977.

From the live album "Elvis In Concert" recorded during concerts in Omaha, Nebraska (June 19, 1977) and Rapid City, South Dakota (June 21), as part of Elvis' last TV special with the same title as the album, both posthumously released in October 3, 1977.

Elvis performing this song always leaves me, like... breathless. I would love to be in the audience each time he performed it live. ✨

don’t lose sight of him!! he’s sitting right over there in one of the dusty wicker chairs scattered around rosier manor, with his over-large sleeves pulled over his fingers. he thinks there is a logic to animal behavior (eat or be eaten) that we could all emulate. he bites his fingernails to the quick. he’s an ephebe & an ingenue & a waking nightmare. he looks like a porcelain doll left to decay under a bed. he is nowhere close to being as in control as he would like to be. he’s an overmature child that acts like an adult & an undersocialized adult who is as ignorant with other people as a child… he doesn’t eat enough. he peels off his bloody surgical gloves & goes to bed without showering for weeks, hair caked in gore. he died in a fucking duel!!!!!
