33. the last adventure you’ve been on? my life has been very tame this year….. my best friend and i have snuck into two screenings of mission impossible in the last week that’s about as exciting as it’s been!

41. how do you take your coffee? i do not take my coffee i can’t stand the smell 😭 terrible because my grandfather owns a coffee farm and his disappointment at my lack of taste is palpable…..

imagine being one of dan’s flatmates in his first yr of uni lmfaoo??? like ok here comes this guy and like the first day he shuts himself in his room to play video games. ok cool whatever maybe he’s nervous. most of the time you never see him bc apparently he has an older friend nearby that he’s always with. when he is in the hall he’s burning pasta bc he’s cooking inept and staring down the washer bc he doesn’t understand how to do his own laundry. oh and he makes videos for youtube where he talks to himself (again this is like 2010). so after barely seeing this man the entire term you find out he’s dropped out of uni. ok whatever you never really think about him again until you’re on youtube and you see his face on the homepage. his video has like millions of views and thousands of likes. oh, there’s the friend he was spending all that time with. somehow he’s become some sort of an internet celebrity??? lmfaooooo. what a serve on dan’s part.

I really gotta start posting 7 Sentence Sunday earlier in the day before half the people I would tag have already tagged me sdfghgfds thank you @anxieteandbiscuits @devirnis @rogerzsteven @alyxmastershipper @rewritetheending thats like a cumulative 35 sentences so here’s a chunk of hospital intrigue

Moore- Tyler. Tyler looks at him, and Eddie doesn’t really think the heartache in his eyes is fair. “Eddie.” He places an unbearable hand on Eddie’s arm.

“We went on one date,” Eddie snaps, stepping back. His shoulder collides with the wall he hadn’t realized was so close, an oddity in these sets of rooms he knows so well he could navigate through drunk and blindfolded. “You don’t owe me anything. It doesn’t matter.” He’d been kissed so sweetly on a doorstep on Saturday night and it only took til Tuesday to hear from Pat via a nurse in oncology who heard it from her paramedic buddy that Jones had resurfaced from whatever pit he’d sunk into (family medicine somewhere in Pasadena, apparently) and had kissed Moore stupid in the third floor cafeteria that has the only good sandwiches.

“I’m sorry-“

“It’s fine.” Eddie’s voice is sharp, pointy, words shaped like thumb tacks. “I’m happy for you, Tyler, glad it worked out. Wish you hadn’t wasted my time, but- it doesn't fucking matter. I’m glad you-“ Eddie cuts himself off, makes a frustrated little sound, presses his palms into his eyes. Deep breaths. He remembers that look on Jones’ face, still, remembers the lost way Tyler wandered around the place in the weeks after. He knows that on Saturday he looked into green eyes and imagined for just a moment that they were blue. Who the fuck is he to judge? “I don’t want to fight,” he says, spark gone like it was never there. “I don’t want to fight. I’m glad Jones isn’t dead somewhere. I’m- really, I am glad you got this. I’m glad you’re happy.”

When he pulls his hands back down to his sides Tyler still has that heartbreak look in his eyes. “You-“ he reaches out just a little, but stops before any contact is made. “You deserve to be happy, too, Eddie.”

He thinks they both flinch a little at the laugh that comes out of him. Loud, awful, mean. He’s not sure what he meant by it, as they stand there blinking at each other. Eddie doesn’t know what he deserves. No, he- he feels guilty, he is happy, Christopher is at home waiting for him and tomorrow they’re going to the zoo, he is happy. “I-“

“Eddie-“

Patricia comes up, doing the sort of not-run that means there is an emergency. “Firefighter, lightning strike, full cardiac arrest, they’re two minutes out.”

madame morrible has the worst fucking luck ever and I CAN'T because first of all after decades and decades of waiting she finally gets her most promising student yet right; she finally gets someone who actually has magic and who might actually be able to read the grimmerie and help further her and the wizard's plans and COINCIDENTALLY this student (bless her heart) is shunned and ostracized by literally EVERYONE including her own family and is desperately craving some form of parental love and affection and validation and acceptance and so madame morrible is like 'ooh this is fucking PERFECT this girl is going to be SO easy to manipulate into doing what I want what could possibly go wrong wow.'

and in comes the fucking pink lesbian.

because elphaba is shunned and hated and all of her peers avoid and detest her because she's weird and green BUT then all of a sudden?? out of nowhere??? she and her pink roommate who, mind you, had a choreographed song and dance routine which involved the entire student body in which they detailed how much they really really hate each other, got really fucking close??? now they go everywhere and do everything together??? they are attached at the hip and looking longingly into each other's eyes WHAT IS HAPPENING????

you are madame morrible and you think galinda upland is in love with your student and what is worse is that your student might be in love with galinda upland and that fucking SUCKS because how the fuck are you supposed to properly emotionally manipulate her now. and it makes absolutely zero sense to you because WHY is galinda upland, the most popular girl at shiz taking an interest in your student??? WHY IS SHE HERE, WHY IS THE FRUITY BITCH RUINING YOUR PLANS???

glinda's very EXISTENCE is a thorn in your side; her simply being herself and interacting with elphaba is probably the reason why you feel a headache coming every time you see them together and is perhaps the reason why you scream into your pillow at night because this absolute loser lesbian just being there might upend a huge fucking chunk of what you've been planning for years.

and then the fucking cherry on top of all of this your student decides to play vigilante and flies off into the sunset and then that leaves you stuck WITH her situationship who you hate more than anyone in the world and you're forced to sort of team up with her for a bit except she doesn't really know magic and she's just being sad and gay and moping about missing her girlfriend and you're sitting there FUMING thinking about how all these fucking witches are fruitier than fuck and all of them are useless to you at this point.

like this is just madame morrible at shiz after elphaba asks her to include glinda in their study sessions just realizing 'dear god I am going to be ping-ponging between these lesbians for the rest of my fucking life aren't I.'

ik she needed elphaba for the plot and for her dastardly plans but in all honesty if I was her and elphaba came up to me at 1am and was like yes please I need you to include my roommate with whom I have a homoerotic relationship in our study sessions or else I will quit right now. also, you have to go down to our party this very instant and tell her in person yourself bye and thanks, I would've just handed in my resignation letter right then and there and cut my losses.

Maybe the problem with Christian fiction is that it's non-denominational. People are just "Christian", with no effort put into showing what practicing that religion looks like for them specifically. No indication that there are other Christians who could have different beliefs. No wrestling with differing ideas and the struggle of how one should live out their Christian faith. And that makes it unrealistic and unrelatable.

RIGHT I SHOULD UPDATE THIS BLOG WITH WHAT'S GOING ON IN MY LIFE

-got a full time job, like a legit career in my field with benefits and a pay scale that increases annually and everything!!!!

--(waiting for benefits to kick in rn though. lol. next month I'll finally get to see a dentist again yaey 💕)

-I'm verrrrrrrry tired right now BUT I've been drawing most days after work because the regular schedule has been really good for me!!!

--adjusting is really hard though!!!!!!

--My work runs on 7-to-10 week cycles and I'm starting from scratch right now. HOWEVER, once I have all of my materials ready for each cycle, I'll have to do barely anything outside of work hours because it'll all just be minor adjustments!!!!! I'm on week 2/9 right now so I'm still scrambling a bit to get everything done every week

BUT

-I swear to god I'll have the redblue wedding up on valentines day. or at LEAST the lead-up to it. 😤😤😤
